We called Stark Services because of great reviews as we needed duct service and to check anything else needs to be done in our unit since we moved in our house. Although we didnt get our unit service due to how it was installed,we do love the honesty and integrity of both of them .Definitely will recommend and will be using them in our future place. Another fantastic visit from the team at Stark - this time Jason and Jose took care of our issue very quickly and efficiently and got us back to normal - perfect timing with the fall weather finally here and the heater needed with family coming over for Thanksgiving this week!I really appreciated how Jason took the time to explain in easy to understand terms the different tests he was performing to identify the issue, then what parts were needed and why, and finally recapping what they fixed and how we can use some advanced settings on our smart thermostat to get even more efficiency out of the setup and save money on energy bills. An all around good experience.

Honest good people, Lance came out with Jose and they were just incredibly kind and respectful. I’m always weary of letting people in my house especially when needing this kind of work but they just went above and beyond to help me feel secure and like they truly cared to help me find a solution. We are needing a new thermostat and Lance did a wonderful job at checking off all his t’s on my unit to give me options. Incredible team these two. They will be our go to HVAC service men! A few months ago, we had to call Stark Heating and Air for an issue we thought had to do with the AC. Wed already called somebody out, and since the problem persisted, we decided to call in a second opinion.We came to find out that the problem wasnt an AC issue at all - in fact, the previous company hadnt investigated to find the true cause. It was a plumbing issue, and our technicians were sure to take lots of pictures for ample documentation and show us. They also recommended a plumber that came out immediately, and it probably saved us our ceiling from collapsing. We had the pleasure of working with David and (I think - I cant remember the other gentlemans name) Roman. They were incredibly kind and informative, and the service was free.Awhile later, wed decided to put in a return vent to an isolated part of our house. Lance and David arrived earlier this morning, and I knew I would get thorough and meticulous service. They uncovered several other issues, and were happy to spend half an hour with me discussing my options. I will always be impressed by the care these technicians take in not only documenting the issue (so you can see without cohabitating with the insulation), but also breaking down exactly whats happening so you can understand and evaluate your options yourself.100000000/10 service, its always a pleasure to work with them!

My husband started making calls around to several A/C repair places to see if someone can come out same day and on a Sunday! After a couple places being overpriced just for the diagnostic fee of $200 or more, Stark was the only A/C place that had the cheapest diagnostic fee of $100 and could come same day!! So they were scheduled to be here between 4 PM and 8pm but they called us at 11:30am seeing if they could come early!! Which we were super excited about, As we went all night without AC because it went out in the middle of the night. Jason and David were our A/c service techs who came out!! Not only were they both very nice friendly, but greeted with a smile!! Even though they were here on a Sunday! They found the problem rather fast as we had our A/C back on in only 30min or less!!! They were very knowledgeable and helpful and even told us about their membership, but we never felt pressured about anything as they were just providing us with knowledge!! (But we did get the membership as me and my husband thought was a very good price) I would say my husband picked a good place and I’m glad we are now members with Stark services for all our future AC and plumbing needs!! I just wanna say thank you to Jason and David again!!!

Tri Eagle energy offers us free maintenance On a unit per year. David, Rodney and Lance came out. They were super respectful and honest. We had just had one of our two ac units replaced this week and they took a look at it. Even though it wasn’t their company who did the work they complemented it and admitted a job well done. They pointed out a few things that their company might have done differently, but all in all had respect for it. I appreciated that transparency. They even answered some questions that I hadn’t gotten answered earlier this week. They looked at our second unit made sure everything was in order and made a few recommendations to get surge protectors in place. Very transparent and I would definitely recommend.

So far the reset of the system is working.What was most appreciated was the fact David noticed some of our radiant barrier had become dislodged. David took it upon himself to repair an issue that was not even HVAC related. GREAT SERVICE!! This duo will be our preferred team going forward. I am helping my parents at the moment. Last night we had a storm that knocked out our a/c. We called early Saturday morning because we are trying to bring my Mom home from a rehabilitation facility. Stark responded promptly (before 7 am on a Saturday morning). The techs were here before the promised time. They were courteous, thoughtful and thorough. We had our A/C back on within 30 minutes. AC stopped Friday so called StarkAir who installed 10+ years ago. Old AC would cost a lot to fix and Lance suggested that we go with new units. We agreed if they could install the next day. And they agreed! Took over 8 hrs to complete. Units work great just have get used to the different way new thermostats work with WiFi. All installers were courteous, respectful of our property and did a great job installing the units. Our thanks go to this team (Lance, Justin, Ray and Yajary) for doing such a great job. Thanks for making our life cooler and we hope we use less electricity so we help the environment.

The technicians are always awesome. Theyre personable, polite, and knowledgeable. We had Jason out today, and he went out of his way to go back to their warehouse to bring back a supply of the correct filters - fixing a recurring issue due to the offices mistake in our profile notes.That said, weve had issues pretty much every time theyre scheduled to come out. Be it not bringing extra filters, bringing the wrong filters, coming after the initially stated timeslot (which doesn’t help when youre told a 2 hour timeslot when scheduling that turns out to be a 4 hour timeslot, that can be very easy to overlook, when you get a confirmation text), etc.It seems that every issue weve had so far stems from the people doing the office-end of the job. Including one woman at the national call center giving me attitude because I didnt realize calls are forwarded there on the weekend, and another woman at the local office laughing when I mentioned that were paying extra for the Advantage Program when she tried to push my appointment back almost a month to Christmas Eve when I had to reschedule due to their mistake.To sum it up...5 Stars for the service techs3 Stars for the office1 Star for the national call center

I contacted Stark late Monday. They responded early Tuesday. Lance and Matt arrived Tuesday evening. They were amazing. When I spoke to the dispatcher. I said trailer, meaning my RV. Because Stark works on mobile homes, thats what she thought I meant. When Lance and Matt arrived, they explained the mix-up. However, Lance said he would check out my unit and see if he had the part. He did, and he installed it. They were fantastic. I am so blessed to have had those two men come to my trailer. Thank you. I will highly recommend this company.

It’s awesome when you dread workmen coming and they are so helpful, and knowledgeable when they’re here, that you hate to see them leave. Great work and amazing team! My parents have used Stark for over 20 years and pay a member fee monthly. When I started helping my father with household management, I wasnt sure the membership was worth the money. However, we have saved on weekend service calls, and discounts on service have usually been more than the monthly fees. The office personnel is always super helpful and responsive. In todays world, that is rare indeed.The prices always seem a little high to me, but you get what you pay for and Stark will make sure you are satisfied with their work. Weve only had one occasion to have follow-up and they went beyond the expected to ensure our satisfaction. All the technicians are friendly and willing to explain and answer your questions. In my most recent interaction, I only talked to Joshua on the phone, but he was very polite, explained his diagnostics, what he did and his suggested solution. He also said I could call him directly with questions. At completion, he took pictures so I could see what was done. I feel like I can trust Stark.

We’ve been using Stark Services for allof our HVAC needs for the last 20 years or so. They’ve installed each of our last two sets of units (upstairs and downstairs), including improving our upstairs duct flow and attic insulation on the first of these installs many years ago; this greatly improved our upstairs air flow and cooling.Our most recent installs in 2019 included new Lennox, variable speed units along with Lennox’s proprietary iComfort thermostat monitoring interface. We’ve been extremely pleased, both with the Lennox product and the Stark Services service and support. We just had an issue with the blower motor in the downstairs unit, but both Stark and Lennox worked together to solve the issue quickly and efficiently in spite of some parts supply chain issues beyond their control. In particular, Stark Services technician Lance McKinsie knocked it out of the park in getting the solution in place and completing the repair in record time. He’s a true pro who knows his stuff and gets things done properly and on time. Such a joy to work with on this repair!I highly, highly recommend both Lance and Stark. Fantastic work getting our AC working again in the midst of a hot Texas summer! Thanks so much!!

He did offer some suggestions and improvements. I asked if he could email me estimates on each improvement idea as I indicated that I was not prepared for any work to be done this day. Richard was very accommodating and definitely the suggestions were not high pressure sales which I appreciated. Ironically, the suggestions were to do list items I have been contemplating; so, the timing was just right.Today, March 11, 2024, I scheduled Stark Air to perform my semi-annual HVAC preventative maintenance checkup specifically preparing for the upcoming summer. Technician Marcel Scott came out. I appreciate his total professionalism. My unit checked out fine. He was concerned with the unit’s pressure reading that he was unable to test today based on current outdoor temperature. He suggested a follow-up appointment one month from today to accurately test pressure during warmer outdoor temperatures anticipated. I absolutely agreed. Marcel then scheduled the appointment with Stark dispatch. Again, I appreciate customer service details like this.9/25/2023 Today, I scheduled a heater preventative maintenance check. Before performing that checkout, previous HVAC checkouts recommended a hard starter kit replacement. I decided today that component needed to be replaced, although the system was still running. Jason replaced said component without issue. I sat down with him and Jose to review the unit’s performance. I appreciate the recommendations that Stark has always offered in the past with no a pressure approach.9/22/2021 Today, I scheduled my annual plumbing check up. I always appreciate these tune up checks before entering the demand of the period.Jason, Drew, and Viktor came out to perform my check up. As mentioned before, they pointed out what is working or needs immediate attention; and, they point out what may require your attention in the long haul. I always appreciate their honesty and candidness. Never any pressure in providing their services.I scheduled my semi-annual maintenance checkup with Stark. I spoke to Courtney, who was friendly and accommodating to my scheduling needs. Once scheduled, HVAC technician Roy came to my home to perform athorough check of my system.I have been with Stark for some years now. These people are honest in their evaluations. They address what the system may need in the best interest of your comfort. Realize that may come with a price; but, they are not doing it to pad estimates. In the end, they will do whatever you ask of them, so no pressure.

He was very professional and thorough, which is expected, but he also helped me with a plumbing issue I told him about, which was not part of his agenda for the day. Austin Villarreal recently did some very technical investigation of the plumbing issues going on in our kitchen. His expertise is far beyond some other plumbing companies we had called to get an estimate and diagnose the problem. Austin guided us through the repair with understanding and compassion for our situation. He kept us updated on all aspects of the work. He did an excellent and thorough job with the repairs. And, he assisted us with mediation efforts related to the issue. I cant say enough about how impressed I am with him.Additionally, Stephen McMichael, a manager with Stark Services, assisted us with a plumbing call. I had two separate issues and Stephen very skillfully diagnosed the problems. He is a problem solver and looks out for the customer. He was a great communicator and did an excellent job in letting me know what the options were and what he would recommend. His work was top notch and he was a man of his word. I would highly recommend Stephen McMichael and Stark Services. As a bonus, Stark Services staff does a great job communicating appointment times, arrival times, and updates through email, text, and phone calls.
