Had a water heater installed by someone else. The pipe burst and couldn’t get hold the plumber that installed it. Called Lone Star Plumbing and they came out, fixed the pipe and the fee was much less than I had expected. Very prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

After realizing we needed a water softener and having no previous experience with this technology, we contacted a few big name brand companies. Lets say we were shocked at the cost of salt units. Thankfully we contacted Lone Star Plumbing and Water. Not only was the unit they installed a fraction of the cost, the installation, customer education and service were top top notch. Lone Star came out in response to our America Home Shield claim and they were fantastic. We had an unusual problem of hot water coming out our cold taps. Two other plumbing companies were stumped and declined to even try, but not Lone star. They worked for two days diagnosing and trying different solutions. They never once complained or treated us differently then a typical client. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and dedication to completing the job. Both Kevin and Jose were great to work with and did a wonderful job. Thanks again guys.

This is the second time that Ive used Lone Star Water Services, and I have to say the second time Ive been impressed by them! The technicians have been very punctual and good about telling you when theyre coming. They get in, do the job well and get out with friendly service. I had a broken garbage disposal and now I dont. The technicians were super nice, did their job quickly and were on time. When I called they gave me an estimate over the phone( most places wont and make you wait for a person to come out) and I scheduled the repair for the next day. All around awesome experience, Ill be using them in the future from now on.

I requested service through American Home Shield and they scheduled us with Lone Star Water Services. I was extremely impressed with the office staff who contacted me as well as the technician who came out. James had arrived at the very beginning of the service window and have the problem resolved very quickly. Additionally, James offered advice on how to prevent future Main Line stoppages as well as how to troubleshoot them. I will definitely be using that again whether or not we go through Home Warranty. Thank you for amazing service, James!!!

Kevin and his associate Matt were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They listened to my problem, snaked and scoped the main line, and showed me the issue on the camera screen. Where they go above and beyond is in professionalism. They were sincerely polite, thorough, and fully answered all of my questions. Timeliness and efficiency were excellent both on the job and prior to arrival. I was told they would call between 0800-0900 with an ETA window, and they did. They gave an ETA window of 0830-0900, and they showed up on time. Being able to track their location online was a nice touch too. While here, they managed their time well, and I never felt like the job was rushed. Their proficiency, efficiency, and communication skills instill trust and confidence, and I would absolutely recommend them to a friend/neighbor for plumbing repairs.

Cody just left my house this morning and corrected another plumbers work by repairing the wax seal on my toilet. My toilet was lifted due to foundation repairs on my one story house. Cody took on the challenge of the repair and treated my issue like he would a two story upstairs toilet. Not only was he fast, courteous, and efficient, he was innovative and resilient. He saw the issue and found a solution. Then he also cleaned the worksite and did not leave a mess. Also, kudos to Megan at the home office, who always called back - was also courteous, and polite and answered all of my questions as well. I cannot give them enough props. Also, they both keep promises and called, emailed, and texted me on the arrival times and kept me informed every step of the way. Thank you Lone Star for your excellent employees and service!

Didnt have to wait long from call to them showing up. Though like many companies, they schedule in time windows, they are very responsive on letting you know when theyll arrive and postponing if needed. Very customer-centric staff. Jeremy Mertz was the service tech for this visit and he explained the repair process thoroughly and gave me tips for future prevention. Just glad I now have a reliable plumbing service, saved the contact info in my phone.

I highly recommend Lone Star Water Services!! I had a slab leak which turned into replacement of old cast iron pipes that had seriously deteriorated. Paul and Cameron were absolute professionals. In addition, Paul answered the many, many questions I had throughout, demonstrating both patience and an extensive knowledge of plumbing. Meghan in the office was also a pleasure to deal with and Juan who came out on the first visit to diagnose the problem represented the company well. I plan to continue to use their services for any of my plumbing needs, although after this big project hopefully not any time soon. :)

We had a new toilet installed by Jeremy Mertz and Megen yesterday and I could not have been more pleased with the experience... They were efficient and helpful and did an excellent job. They went above and beyond my expectations to insure that I was completely happy. The original toilet that was in there had mounting bolts that were too long and the caps that went over them never fit properly. They cut them down to the proper size and solved a problem that I have had for 15 years. I have had a lot of plumbing work done on this house since I bought it and have never had a better experience.

When they couldnt get me worked in, she was honest about it, and even helped cancel with AHS. She was very calm and sweet when I was aggravated about my issue. Kevin greeted me with a smile. Came in the house and let me tell him all I knew about this old house and crawl the space. He actually was able to get under the house when NO ONE, not even my home inspector, could get under there. The opening is small with a beam dead center the hole. He searched and searched and laid under the house in the water filled space looking and listening for the leak. When he came up he was walking slow, covered in mud, in a black garbage sack. I totally lost it, it was hilarious! Kevin was so nice, very professional, always kept eye contact and explained everything in layman’s terms. He went above and beyond all my expectations and took pics of the pipes under the house to show me. Having anyone come out and do your plumbing is never fun, but Kevin and I did have fun! He found the leak, fixed it, showed me what he did and explained it! The most important thing was that I trusted and believed what he said! He is fantastic!! This is an unsolicited review and I highly recommend this company. If you can ask for Kevin then even better!

Lonestar fixed our Noritz Tankless Hot Water heater. They were great except American Home Shield incorrectly reassigned their dispatch to two other companies who didn’t or couldn’t repair these units. This delayed Lonestar from fixing our unit by two weeks. Thanks to Justin Cox their technician he correctly diagnosed the problem, then Megan ordered the parts and Justin returned and installed the replacement parts getting us hot water again after two weeks!

WROTE THE BOOK ON CUSTOMER SERVICE!How many companies will not only give you FREE help over the phone, but also pick a part off an old water heater and GIVE IT TO FOR FREE??? Justin did just that for me. I had a Honeywell gas control valve igniter wire break on my Whirlpool water heater. Those Honeywells go for $165 on eBay, and up to $270 elsewhere online. I talked to Justin, texted him a picture of the (maybe) $5 igniter, he knew he had one, and I went out and picked it up. They didnt make a SINGLE PENNY from this, but I promised Id write a favorable review. What would YOU call that?

Finally..... American Home Shield found a decent plumbing company....not only decent but superior. From the flexibility of their scheduling to the efficient and courteousness of the plumber that came to fix a broken pipe it was a very very good experience. So good that I am going to have them do some long needed work that I had put off just because finding a plumber is almost as bad as buying a car. 5 STARS from me!!!

The young gentleman, named Juan, worked hard to clear the area of the leaking line, then repaired/replaced the pipe with the leak and refilled-in the foundation. He was truly capable in all aspects of the job, also efficient, professional, courteous, and neat in cleaning up afterwards. I will be recommending the Lone Star Water Services based on the experience of Juans workmanship.

Overall it was good. Two points to improve to get a rating of 5 for me:1: 8 hours window to have a tech. to come out is too long. 4 hours is preferred.2: Not easy to get to a real person. Response time to a voice message left is too long. Within two hours of response time is preferred.

I was referred to them through American home shield for a rusted out water heater. They came out assessed that we needed a new heater. They returned 4 days later to replace it. Very courteous team that showed up. Additionally they arent out to make a buck. I thought to upgrade to a tankless water heater, but they recommended against it based on the layout of our house. These folks are legit no BS.
