From the first call, our Personal experience with Hobson & Air was a great one. The professionals on the phone setting up the appointment had a great attitude, and it was followed up with an email to confirm. Also, when Tech showed up, the first thing I noticed was a great smile. I was greeted by name, and Mr. Kellen is truly a great man. Mr Kellen was very clean and professional, and the company vehicle was clean, too. Mr Kellen explained everything to my wife and I. we did not feel like we were pressured at all. We are truly happy with our service, and we will recommend Mr Kellen & this amazing company to all of our family and neighbors. We love the detailed report that Mr Kellem provided to us.

We love this company so much. From the people in the office, to the techs that come out. They are so friendly, fast, and wont try to upsell anything. We mentioned our sons severe asthma and allergies thinking we needed our vents and system cleaned (surprise. He had pics of our system and vents. Clean as a whistle), and they mentioned something for us to research. Never mentioned purchasing anything. We are purchasing a system upgrade through them though as the price is almost $1000 cheaper through them than other companies we looked into and it will help our sons asthma and allergies here at home. They dont nickel and dime. Dont lie. They take pics to show proof and explain everything in laymans terms for those of us not in the field of expertise. Came out quickly tonight when our AC said naw, I dont want to turn on. It short circuited itself and Alec the tech told us how it happened and why. He didnt have the part but was willing to come back first thing in the morning to fix it. Pssssst... Its a cheap fix. (Its not even hot in here, were just royalty and like to freeze to death at night). They are a fantastic company and we highly recommend them.Update: we ended up needing a new system. Inside and out. Zac, the tech who gave us the bad news is always amazing. He installed our surge protectors and uv light system as well as came out for maintenance before. Even though he had to deliver the bad news, he was kind and understanding. He gave us awesome information about what caused the issues that fried our system. He also gave us information to be better informed when choosing our new system. He explained dual zones and how our system works, how to prevent this from happening again (brown outs 😬😬😬), and explained everything in a manner that I could understand. That was on Tuesday, and our system was installed on Thursday. After 2 weeks of issues (stayed in hotels with the kids while the hubs stayed with the animals), and having almost no AC the whole time, it was nice to wake up freezing again. Thankfully, our AC went out when Texas had its cold wave the other day. The crew that came out to install it was phenomenal, professional, knowledgeable, and cognizant of the fact that we had animals and a small child in the house. The guy who sold us our unit (forgot his name) was also amazing. Super kind man, and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of my questions. Excellent, experience. Also, they didnt try to sell me the most expensive systems. They only mentioned systems that met our needs. Nothing more, nothing less. We still recommend Comfort Experts.Edit: plumber Derek came out and fixed our kitchen sink that was broken. It was quick and he was so funny and nice. Looked under the sink, knew right away what needed to be fixed. 45 mins, in and out. He even had a wrench for our garbage disposal. Electrician is coming out tomorrow and will do another edit after hes done. Hopefully its an easy fix (fuse we think).

This is a sort of mixed review. I started having issues with my ac unit in this insane hot summer of 2023. I called on Sunday morning and was able to have someone out by 2 pm. The service call charge was reasonable (especially for a weekend). Ian was excellent, honest, and professional. He told me there was a problem with a particular part. However, he noticed my unit was less than 3 years and should be under warranty and advised me to contact the company who originally installed. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because if I had chosen to have him repair my unit, the cost of the part is more than double what other companies charge. That’s the only issue I have though. I am having it repaired through the original company who did my install, but again I was impressed with how quickly they got someone out and Ian’s diagnostic abilities.

Kellen has worked at our home twice. He is the most courteous, informative, knowledgeable, hard working, and truthful person you will ever meet. There are three things that impress me about this young man. 1. He is very truthful. I had inquired about a problem that I had with my central AC unit. I was told by two companies that I would have to buy another complete system at a cost of $4000-7000. Kellen came to my house, climbed into my attic, took apart my unit, took photos (to show me what was going on) brought the part down and then obtained a replacement. The replacement part cost $600 vs the $4000-7000 the other companies wanted to charge me. My AC is keeping our home cool at 65 degrees right now. 2. Kellen is knowledgeable in his field. If he doesn’t know the answer he will tell you as much. He doesn’t try to put on a sales pitch - he simply diagnoses the problem, gives the solutions and lets you choose. 3. He genuinely cares for his customers. I saw him after he fixed my AC unit a year ago. I was at a coffee shop and he came in, saw me, had a huge smile on his face, and asked me how I and my family were doing. Bottom line I will always do business with Comfort Experts because of the awesome job this man has done for our family.

Go Rangers!Anyway, Mark Dennison got to us by 1 pm the next day, could not have been more polite or thorough in his detailed explanation of the steps of the diagnostics, the services he recommended, and the follow-up we should budget for having an 8-year-old system.We like Hobson / Comfort Experts because of their attentiveness and their support of our military, but we’ll request Mark for our next round.But all of their techs have been great, so you cannot go wrong with any we’ve had come to our home over the last several years.

I had a check up on my system and he identified a deficiency, needed parts, got them and completed the repair and update in quick time. Can’t say enough about the job and him professionally.

Our technician, Kevin, arrived at the appointed time, and was courteous, friendly, thorough, and professional. The technician arrived as expected and was courteous.At completion of the annual maintenance service, as I was signing to agree for the service, then signing again that service was completed I asked if the technician had cleaned the HVAC unit, as this is normally part of annual maintenance service. He said he had not cleaned it because it didnt look very dirty to him. I asked him to go back out and clean it which he did.My suggestion is to monitor the technicians closely to ensure all maintenance work is done that should be done.

See the review I just did. After 9 months of hell, I will never recommend this company. Units they use dont stand up, and 10k for trouble isnt worth it. In past 2 months, its quit twice and once the tech blamed it on the house that it was the circuit breaker wont shut off and this time it just quit. After I shut it off and waited 30 minutes running it on heat, got it running again. For 10k, this shouldnt happen.Edit on 10/15/2024 Had a city inspection in the summer, which failed and had to have tech come out and correct things. Then first part of Sep 2024, Service Manager contacted me to come out and look at the unit to see what was going on. Made an appointment, and sat for about 3 hours waiting. Finally got a call, had to cancel due to other appointments that couldnt get completed, so waste of an afternoon. Said never mind. Later, they did call to reschedule, and Ryan came out and went over system and did a tune up and we talked about not running the fan air continually but only when needed. Opposite of what the other tech said.We also discussed frustration over our having to pay twice for a service call which was clearly installation error, but because I had called after hours, it was tough cookies. Ryan said he would go back to the accounting office and discuss possibly refunding those two charges and I told him I had mailed a letter a year ago, and since never heard anything, probably was thrown out. Well, its been about 5 weeks now, and havent heard anything about sorry, but we are keeping your money or a check. Ive been holding off on updating review to see if the check would come. Lost cause.To their credit, I got a call for a warranty service job, and when I pointed out that Ryan was already there, she marked it as done and that it wouldnt affect warranty. The system has been working since, but I dont trust it, and probably wont go with an off name brand either. Going to consider this a closed case in regards to reviews. Will still need to call them for warranty work and service related to warranty, but probably wont use them for our other property which would have been a lot larger expense.

I had just bought my house and knew the system was a little older, but it was working fine... Until a day after I moved in. I dont do well in heat and I have some temperature sensitive equipment so I needed to get this taken care of, one way or another, quickly. They were able to send a technician out to inspect and diagnose my issues the same day, and then after we had found that the compressor in my (apparently) 23-year old R-22 system bit the dust, they had someone else come out after a few hours to take some measurements and present me with several suggested options with various levels of efficiency, other features, and parts and labor warranty. They were also able to help me get approved for financing that didnt require any money down, didnt have a pre-payment penalty, and had competitive rates, and they let me borrow a window A/C unit to hold me over until they could get the overall system installation done. It wasnt the cheapest upfront solution, but I think its going to be the best in the long run.

We used Comfort Experts about 1.5 years ago to purchase and install our new AC. Great service and no problems whatsoever.Today I called because we’ve been having some concerns about some air quality issues in our house, and the technician (Jose G) actually managed to find a plumbing issue (not AC issue) that seems to be the root cause. Even though he found this early on, he still thoroughly inspected the AC unit and the ductwork to make sure nothing else was going on. He went above and beyond to make sure he helped me figure out what was going on. Now I know to contact a plumber to deal with the issue.
