I use Roto Rooter about every two years to auger my sewer line and they are so professional and basically GREAT ♥ The tech today who did the work, Chad Cook, was thorough so much that after he did the line once--and found some roots--he went back a second time to make sure the line was totally clear. I highly recommend their service! :-)

My parents are elderly & my mother has dementia. When they have any kind of issue (plumbing, A/C, furnace, appliances, anything) - they call me. I’ve called Roto Rooter 3 times in approximately the past year - the customer service has been impeccable all 3 times!! Chad has been to them twice & his patience & kindness towards mom & dad are amazing - plus he ALWAYS fixes the problem & cleans up afterwards. I will continue to call & ask for Chad when there is an issue there (or at my own home). Thank you Chad for your customer service! It is definitely something you no longer see a lot of since Covid & yours definitely should be recognized! Well done!!!

I had a sump pump back up. I thought that it was maybe because of debris in my lines. Chad and the other tech who did the camera were very helpful. They showed me and took care of the issue. What I liked best is that they didnt push me to do any expensive repairs etc.. I will call them again.

It was a Saturday morning and we had discovered our basement toilet was clogged. I tried a quality beehive plunger and 3’ auger and after a valiant effort realized this wasn’t the average clogged up toilet. Feeling a bit defeated I called Roto-Rooter. The dispatch was friendly and professional and said they could have someone out within 2-4 hours, the consolation was free and I’d only pay if I used their service in which case they would start right away. My confidence was restored.Our plumber Danny arrived within a couple of hours. Danny absolutely went above and beyond. He tried his 6’ auger in the toilet, then tried going down an adjacent pipe from the sink with a larger electric auger. He then recommended we try removing the toilet and getting to it that way. We got the toilet off and after some deep diving with the big electric auger he finally pulled a baseball sized clog of “feminine products” and the line was clear. I won’t name the culprit but they were promptly retrained on the three P’s that are safe to flush down the toilet!Danny advised it would be cheaper for me to reinstall the toilet myself. Up to the challenge I agreed and he told me exactly what I would need to do. After he left I went and bought a new wax ring and some caulk from HD. I got the toilet mounted and that beautiful porcelain beast roared back to life with clean, strong flushes fit for a king! We got the throne sealed and cleaned up and now everything is back to normal, what a relief!I am so glad we called Roto-Rooter and I am so glad we had Danny respond to our call. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter and they will be my first choice in the future should I ever need any of the services they offer.Thank you!

Ive used Roto Rooter once before, but received exceptional help and service tonight from Jonathan to diagnosis a drip coming through our ceiling (not a roof leak). If Roto Rooter sent John every time, I wouldn’t use another plumber. Ultimately, our problem was with our A/C condenser and not our plumbing but John did a ton of dirty work to uncover and alleviate our leak. That he did all this within two hours of calling and in the evening means we dont have to sleep tonight with a dripping ceiling or with our water off as a precaution. Thanks a mil, John!!

We needed a plumber for a minor leak that sprung up overnight. Roto rooter was able to come out early the next morning so I could still go to work. The wall was cut into, but the leak has stopped and the pipes have gotten an upgrade.

JP #803 was our plumber. We had water seep into our basement and he immediately diagnosed it as our sump pump was not working properly. Installed a new one and was finished within one hour. The standing water disappeared in about 30 minutes. He did a great job. I have used Roto Rooter of Cincinnati area ( I live in Kentucky) for 25 years and wouldn’t consider anyone else. They ALWAYS take care of me.

Called our normal plumber on Saturday morning after waking up to a busted pipe and water all over the basement. They couldnt help until Monday. Called another place...same thing. Called Roto-Rooter next. The dispatcher was very empathetic, and worked quickly to have someone in pur driveway in under an hour. They also sent their cleanup and mitigation guy to help get an insurance claim started snd begin assessing damage while the plumber worked quickly to repair the faulty pipe. Many thanks for the rapid response on a Saturday, the excellent customer service from all three employees I talked to, and the quick work on fixing the issue and getting together a plan to correct the damage!!!

Had a clogged double sink issue and called this company due to other great reviews. Clayton was my service technician and was very courteous. Showed him the problem sinks and got a quote that was reasonable (website has coupons) and he got right to work. Approximately 45 minutes later problem solved. Also comes with a 6 month warranty. I highly recommend this company.

Kitchen sink has been clogged with a very slow drain for about a week. of coarse my husband and i tried all the options that we could before calling a plumber. My husband and I had purchased our first home in July of 23. We were desperately not wanting to spend so much money on a plumber but in the end, the clog was just too far for us to clear. We placed a call to Roto Rooter Sunday, 10/1, at about 2:30 PM. Got a text at 3:11 PM that same day saying our professional Danny was on his way. Danny was such a wonderful informative gentlemen. Came in and got the job done. Very kind, pleasant and fast! My husband ended up chit chatting for a few minutes with Danny over a few common interests. Danny was able to help us out with a 75$ coupon with no hesitation, that we had saw online earlier that day. It really is a bummer when you know you are having to spend so much money for something so little as a little clog. We have been dreading the call to a professional but in the end i am very happy to spend my money on Roto Rooter. As everyone else, i was scared i was not going to get the service and customer service that i would like with the price. But Danny came walking in and made this call worth every penny!

The minus 1 star was for the cost. $400+ for a quick drain declog, and 20 minutes of work seems excessive. But admittedly I dont know all the ins and outs and expenses for declogging a drain. I was experiencing a mainline issue. I called Rotor-Rooter, they had a tech come out with-in a few hours (they could of had someone sooner however, I was at work). Brandon Poe (tech#-1535) was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive and knowledgeable in answering every question I had. He was very personable and easy to relate to. He was very through in his work. He worked for several hours making sure I would not continue to experience any issues with my line. I explained what made the water back-up. Before he left we ran my laundry washer 3 times to ensure I would not have any issues. There was no mess left behind he made sure everything was cleaned up prior to him leaving. This was probably the best experience I have every had with a company coming to my home for repairs. The pricing was very reasonable considering the work that was completed. I love the fact they follow up with their technicians work and have a camera come out within 3 days to check his work.

Besides his professionalism and friendly nature, he was extremely informative on what my issue was and how to best go about it. He was forthright with pricing concerns, and let me know what he was going to do even before he did it. Another quality I appreciated about Brandin was his punctuality and precision: He was on time and didn’t leave until the job was done. Roto Rooter has a gem in Brandin, and if ever I have another plumbing problem Roto Rooter is the way I’m going!

Edited: Roto Rooter reached out to me and fixed the situation. I’m happy to say I am satisfied with the outcome of the service and the customer service I received. Thank you.They came out because we had a blockage in our pipe and it was backing up. Charged me $500 to snake a drain 60 feet and didn’t even “find” the problem, or at least couldn’t tell me what the problem they were looking for was. Then wanted to charge me $8,600 to dig up my entire yard. I called another company for a second opinion, and the guy climbed under my house, flushed out the pipe, and was gone in an hour for 1/5 of the price I was quoted by Roto Rooter. Over priced.

Had to replace water heater pressure tank and cold water inlet valve. The tank had a pin hole leak and flooded part of my basement so I had to turn the water off to the house since I couldn’t turn the water inlet valve to the water heater. Even with the water turned off, the tank kept leaking. Your technician, Mike, did a great job… 5 stars… the repair; explaining what happened and why/speed of work!!Even though it was on a weekend, it took over 18 hours to respond to my needs. This does not seem to me to be a 24 hour/7day a week service that I was expecting!!

We are so grateful for the job that Leslie, our Roto-Rooter technician did. We needed new faucets installed in a pinch, because we had guests coming round that day. After she had removed the old ones, Leslie let us know that the replacement faucets we had bought did not fit. So we had to go get different ones. We fully expected her to leave for the day and make us reschedule, which would have been a huge hassle. But she re-arranged her schedule to accommodate my wife’s quick trip to Home Depot to get parts that would work. Once we had the right parts, she did a fantastic job with the install. We really appreciated her flexibility and determination to help us get the job done today.

He came with all the equipment needed, was very knowledgeable, and explained the problem to us very well. He was very pleasant and professional, explained every step of what he was doing, made sure the problem was fixed by doing multiple checks (ensured no water was backing up anymore) before leaving, and gave us tips on how to maintain moving forward. Darren came over to access an odor that emanates from certain drains in our home. He inspected all drains in the house to access if there were any obvious issues causing concern. No odor was emanating at the time of his visit but he assured me our system was operational and in good condition after checking each trap. He informed me of their dispatch number to call if and when the situation comes up again in the future and gave a recommendation of another employee in case we needed to get our sewage pipe inspected with a camera. Darren was very professional and knowledgeable.

Having Nick serve our family was a pleasure. He was informative, honest, and courteous throughout the entire visit. He was able to successfully resolve our plumbing crisis, as well as give us information on what to do in the future. Chris, who came for our free camera service spent a great deal of time helping because our pipe was on a 90 degree angle and he couldnt get the camera in properly. He suggested other means of getting the camera through and did so successfully as well. Overall, a wonderful experience throughout. I bought a new home 6 months ago and have had to deal with so many plumbing issues. After dealing with my home warranty’s contractors for 2 weeks unsuccessfully I finally called Roto-Rooter who has never disappointed. I set up an appointment and finally felt some stress lift off my shoulders. During the time slot I selected I had a tech, Matt (2719) come and one of the first things he did was apologize if I had been waiting long. I told him that I had picked this time slot because I work long hours and was very grateful that his company had techs out this late (5pm-9pm were the hours I chose). I told Matt what I had been dealing with and all the things I had tried and what I believed to be the issue. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and personable which were 3 things I couldn’t say about who my warranty sent out. Matt tried multiple techniques to flush out the clog and went above and beyond to make sure he didn’t leave a mess for me to clean up. After finding a different entry point in the pipes he was successful in pulling out chunks of built up grease from the previous owners. Matt even showed me how to use the enzyme that I can use to treat the pipes with monthly. Knowing that the work is guaranteed for 6 months is also a big stress relief, thank you Matt and Roto-Rooter for giving me back my kitchen, which is much needed with the holidays coming up.

Probably the only thing to work on is communication with the office, we were told the day prior to expect a phone call around 10am to let us know of approximate arrival time, and we ended up calling office at 1pm to find out time frame. After that, though, technician did call and kept us up to date on his time line. Again, Matt #2719, very courteous and thoughtful of customers!

My washing machine was backing up due to a clogged drain and causing a terrible mess in my laundry room. The smell was AWFUL!! I called Roto -Rooter at 9 pm on a Friday night and explained my problem to the customer service representative. I had a new washing machine scheduled to be delivered at 2 pm the following day so time was of the essence. She understood the urgency of my request and scheduled my service call for Saturday. Nick with Roto-Rooter came out the following afternoon. He diagnosed the problem and completed the work in a matter of minutes. He was friendly and very professional. Just as he was finishing his work my new washing machine arrived. The timing was perfect!As a property manager for single-family homes I use Roto-Rooter on a very regular basis but have never had to use them for my own home. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is beyond compare!

I have an old house with old pipes. My main line was clogged up from years of stuff going into the pipe. It backed up in my basement (thankfully it is unfinished). We called them up to have them clean out the main drain. The first guy came out to evaluate the issue and clean the pipe. It was determined that it would need more than a snake out .It required a descaling and jetting. This got us by a day or two for the complete fix to be completed. They arranged to have someone come out to descale the pipe the next day but couldn’t jet that day. It is the week of thanksgiving and they are super busy. Steve was there from 5 until 7 working. Steve was very professional and informative on ways to keep the pipe cleaner after everything was completed. They are coming out to day to finish the job today. I know it will be a great job and we won’t have to worry about the pipe getting clogged for a very long time.

His explanations and stories about life experience being in the Navy and giving valuable user friendly tips and techniques to reassure his customers of that personal touch that seperates him from the rest. I tried to tip him $50 bucks but he refused my advances. I look forward to Harry returning to my home for service that left me with a warm feeling inside and peace of mind. Was pleased with my experience with RotoRooter from the second I called in. I had a leak from my dishwasher and was happy to speak to an actual person (not a recording) at 7am and she got me scheduled for a technician to come out that evening on my schedule. The technician showed up on time within the 4 hour time frame I was given and told us the fee for the diagnoses and quickly found the problem and we werent charged extra. On 7/14/16, Matt #2719, came to our house to fix a cracked pipe on our bathroom sink. He was so descriptive and efficient, the pipe was fixed in no time... Less than an hour. This is the second time we have had Roto-Rooter come out to our house and they have always fixed the problem quickly and correctly. We will definitely be calling on them again when we have a problem. They are very professional, quick, efficient, and friendly. We had just called them at 10:30 the night before, and they were able to come to our house by 10:30 AM the next morning. Martin from Roto Rooter came on a Saturday when we had a sewage back up into our basement washtub. He gave an honest estimate and due to the nature of the problem came the next day, a Sunday, to effect the repair. It was a difficult job with our older cast-iron and lead-seal pipes but he handled it all with skill and hard work. Now we have new PVC piping in our washtub drain, trap, sewer stack and a cleaned-out sewer line. A new seal and flange on the toilet also were installed. This was a thankless job and Martin did it without complaint and demonstrating real ability. It was worth what we paid, definitely.

I was suppose to get someone by 8pm but nobody showed up until almost 1am.
