Our basement recently flooded with water 4 feet deep on a WEEKEND! Mack came out Saturday afternoon and took excellent care of us. He removed the water, found the source of the problem and had everything done as soon as he could. In addition, he is one of the most professional, nice human beings we have ever had to come help us with a repair. Call these guys. They really are the BEST!

I absolutely recommend this company to everyone in the area that needs professional, ethical and quality work done. We had the honor of having the team that works with the leader Sven. I believe his coworkers name is Matt who is an Army Veteran (If Im wrong, Im sorry) But the rest of the team was Lamar and Tony and another younger guy. Our home is on a septic tank so we wanted the sewage line tapped into the city line. Sven is a true master at planning the correct approach, networking with PWC and getting in there and getting dirty himself along with his team. I truly enjoyed corresponding with him and the team and also speaking with Ms. Tracy who runs the office and orchestrates everything. The work was swift, neat and done with quality. I watched them dig, place and level all the pipes, work as a team and effectively communicate until the job was complete. I mean.... Their work is TOP GRADE!!! Seriously, I have learned in this area that you truly get what you pay for. If you want quality work done by honest folks, McKenzies Plumbing is the way to go. They get back with you, they get your estimate quick, they thoroughly explain the plan of action and on the day of, they are on it! Im very, very happy that we chose them among the rest...Turns out We chose the BEST! Thank you Sven!!!!

These guys have a loyal customer for life!! They care about the customer. They are honest, skilled, and quick.We had a leaky tub faucet that another plumber came out, tried to fix, then made worse. I was half-expecting more of the worst but McKenzie Plumbing showed me what a high-quality plumber looks like. I only wish we had used them from the beginning because they made the arduous process of plumbing repairs so easy.When I asked about a service fee, they told me... Our work speaks for itself. We offer free estimates In an industry where this practice is standard and (as we had recently experienced) its often used to scam customers. Having someone with honor & integrity meant a lot.Mac & Keegan were amazing technicians. They were friendly and great communicators. Looked at the issue & told us wed probably have to replace the whole valve. They came out to do the work, he came back in 15 min and showed me what he fixed. Turns out it wasnt the valve like we thought. It was an easier fix so it was going to be about 1/3 of the originally quoted price!What made it even better was when they realized they forgot an invoice slip. Not wanting to take money without the proper paperwork, they left without payment and said the office would send it over shortly. Normally, I would expect to be hounded about payment all day. But the office called to get my email, and sent the invoice. It was a few hours later before I got a chance to call & make the payment but it was nice to not receive 50,000 messages about getting their money. It was yet another example of how this company prioritizes the customer relationship over their profits.

We had an emergency water issue early in the morning in our garage! I Called McKenize plumbing before normal business hours and Lisa answered. Lisa gave great customer service - calm and polite and assured me they would take care of it. Mac was our technician that serviced us . He was excellent - explained everything that needed to be done thoroughly! He ran out to to get the part promptly and kept me updated as I was running my children around to their schools and appointments! Last week, my tank on the water pump was stolen. Thanks to McKenzie Plumbing, I have it replaced. A few days later, I notice a pulsing in the water and it shut off in the middle of my shower. I called McKenzie Plumbing on Monday, Mac came out Tuesday Morning in pain from a back injury. He found a partial blockage and fixed it. Very professional and dedicated to customer service.Lost power early Christmas Eve morning. Light in the pump house was out and the water I left running to prevent freezing stopped. When the power came on my pump motor was running, but no water. Called McKenzie Plumbing and the office staff put me in touch with Mac who tried to come that day, but didnt have all the parts he needed for the repair. I was disappointed, but not unprepared for that eventuality. He made the repairs the Monday after Christmas and did an great job. He was willing to go the extra mile and I greatly appreciate that!

HE was very courteous and professional in his work.He saw the backup of water in the sink and immediately knew where to find the problem. He cleared the sink stoppage and drained all pipes associated with the stoppage. He takes pride in his work as a professional Plumber to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied. HE also leaves a few tips on how to keep drains clear and clean. Outstanding Job, and I will keep his business number for future use. For what its worth I recommend McKenzie Plumbing.

Mac was so professional, punctual, and knowledgeable! I called at 8:30am to request a new water heater and by 10:00am the same day, Mac was at my home. He removed my old water heater and installed a new one in less than 2 hours. Mac made sure the hot water was clear and the garage was cleaned before leaving. He even removed my water hose from the spigot so it wouldnt freeze this winter and reminded me to do the same to the one in the backyard - so nice and caring. I cant say enough good things about our experience with McKenzie Plumbing! From the start, the office team was very professional when booking our work and answered any questions we had. They worked with our schedule and had the team there on the day we requested. The techs were polite, respectful and most importantly skilled. They had a big job to do in this renovations and they came in and got to work. They were knowledgeable and gracious when we asked questions. Overall, the best experience! 5 star experience for sure! I called in at noon on a Friday concerned about a leak under my house, received a call back within 30 minutes of calling telling me they can rush out to help. They made it within an hour and got me squared away, they even let me know the piping in my house was recalled and what steps I could take to get all the pipes switch out. Best experience I’ve had with a plumbing company for sure, I would leave a 10/10 stars if it was possible!

I had my water heater go out over night and needed to be replaced. I used Home Advisor to find a plumber to come out and resolve the issue. McKenzie Plumbing called first thing in the morning and told me someone would be out by late morning. Sven called not even 5 minutes later and was at the house within 20 minutes. Diagnosed issue on the spot and had a brand new water heater installed in just over an hour. Super nice man and worked fast and efficient. Would recommend to anyone!

Mackenzie (Steven) was absolutely amazing. Exceeded every expectation we had! We had a pipe through our sewer line from the previous owners and had 3 other plumbers come take and look and give us estimates. If you ever want to renovate or upgrade your home, I highly recommend McKenzie plumbing. I hired Two other plumbers prior to finding McKenzie plumbing and it was a nightmare. Not only did the previous plumbers overcharged me, additionally their work was sub-par. McKenzie plumbing had to fix their leaks and correct the pipe work. I am please with the technicians McKenzie plumbing sent to my home (Mac and Mike). They are knowledgeable, friendly, professional and explained everything to me where I could understand the plumbing in my home. I had to replace all my old pipe work, upgraded 4 faucets, upgrade garbage disposal and installed 3 toilets. To top it off, the price was fair especially since my new sinks set too low for my plumbing lines. Mac and Mike made sure the water lines flowed properly. I can count on Mac and Mike to fix all my plumbing and highly recommend this company to All.

Had some water coming up through our hardwood flooring….McKenzies was not our first call, but will be our first from now on. I called them last Monday after calling another the week before…still haven’t heard from them. After calling them Monday morning, got a call a few hours later that they could send someone around noon. Well around noon Sven was there. Found the leak, fixed it and even suggested Cape Fear Restoration to help dry out the water damage. Was very satisfied with Sven’s work that we called again to do pipe replacement and set the toilets. Will definitely use McKenzies from now on if I need any plumming work done.

MAC came out to fix my toilet, install a new water intake line to the toilet tank and check on a potential leak with my washer. I got same day service and he called prior to arriving for the repair. He gave me great advice and service. (I wont be foolish and try to repair something again without the proper tools!) I was considering installing a bidet sprayer on my toilet but he explained that they have been known to fail which could cause serious water damage. He still told me how I could do the install if I wanted to but I will heed his advice and hope the toilet paper reserves hold up through the pandemic. Thanks for helping me out so quickly. Ive had a leak in my yard 3 times in the past; Mckenzies Plumbing has been there to help every time. The last 2 times they were there within hours. I had them replace the pipe from the meter to the house this time so hopefully I wont have to call them back. The reality company sent out someone who was both rude and unsuccessful and didnt know what they were doing. I decided to take matters into my own hands. As a homeowner with tenants in my home during hurricane Matthew, I was in DESPERATE need of someone to take care of things in my absence. McKenzie Plumbing, specifically Mac, prevented my home from flooding during a crisis situation. Not having flood insurance, I was panicking about the water level, which was just inches away from reaching my entire HVAC system and flooring; but, Mac intervened and prevented the water from rising any further. He remained professional and patient, always answering my calls and questions no matter what he had going on. In the middle of Hurricane Matthew, we realized our basement had five feet of standing water and the continuing rain was threatening to destroy our house. McKenzie Plumbing was the only plumber in town still taking calls. Mac came to our house despite the terrible road conditions and basically saved our house from the flood. The next day he checked back in on us and installed a new water heater before the end of the day. What could have been a disaster ended with virtually no pain.

I called McKenzie plumbing in the morning and they came in the early afternoon. Mac was my plumber and he was very courteous and professional and on time. He took his time in finding the problem and fixed it. I had a clogged kitchen drain and he had to go under the house to do some work to unclog it. He wore his mask the whole time he was working. I would recommend this company to anyone that has plumbing needs. And I will call them again if I have such needs. It was my first time using them and it wont be the last. Great experience.
