We had the BEST experience with Aquino plumbing! Not only was making an appointment so easy (especially days before Christmas!) but they kept in touch before our appointment and called an hour before arrival. Darren (the New York Darren!) was so professional, informative and did a thorough job with each plumbing issue we had. He was respectful to our home and was honest and open with all of our plumbing issues and needs. I felt comfortable with the jobs done. They are fair in what they charge and successfully fixed our issues quickly. We will definitely be using Aquino plumbing for all of our future needs and will be recommending them to our family and friends.What a great experience! Thank you!!!

When we noticed water sipping out from under our basement floor which had been waterproofed 5 years ago, we were dumbfounded and could not figure out where the water was coming from. After almost a week, I called the company from which we have a maintenance service plan with. The plumber came the next day and the moment he saw our water tank, he immediately told us that it needs replacing and it could go anytime. He also gave me a rough estimate of how much a replacement will cost. It was getting worse and we had to use a dehumidifier to get rid of the water. I was emptying the dehumidifier tank 3 or 4 times a day. Finally decided to call three plumbing companies - one local who said I will be charged $175 just for a plumber to come and assess the issue even though I already said that it has a leak and needs replacement. Even if I was willing to pay the ‘initial assessment fee’ they could not tell me when their plumber can come; another one did not return my call and finally, I took a chance and called Aquino Plumbing after seeing a lot of recommendations from our FB town page. I left a message and on the same day in less than an hour Cyndi called and listened to the details of my issue. The moment she heard the word ‘leak’ she was immediately sympathetic and knew that it would mean replacement of the tank. She asked for pictures of the existing tank and the sticker to determine the current type and the appropriate replacement to be able to give me an estimate. However, since we have a very tight space in the basement where the water heater is located, I requested an estimate for a tankless too. Cyndi provided all the details and told me I can reach her anytime either text or call. After getting all the information and discussing with my husband, I reached out to Cyndi again late that evening and she responded. She arranged for their plumbers to stop by the next morning and scheduled us for the tankless replacement the day after. Darren and Gabe came before 9 am, and started working on removing the leaking 50 gal tank and installed our new Navien tankless water heater. It took a long time because of the very tight space. Both were very courteous and respectful. They encountered issues with the installation but were able to figure out the best way to route the new pipes needed. Explained exactly what they will be doing before hand. They worked hard and made sure everything were connected properly. Explained the unit thoroughly and were very pleasant. Cleaned up after the work was completed. Very professional.Highly recommend Aquino Plumbing!Thank you for responding so fast and squishing us in your busy schedule and getting us the replacement water heater that we needed and wanted. Made sure everything is working fine and everything is clean.

These guys were awesome. Our boiler died and we had no heat or hot water (temps hit the 20s) which is never fun. They came out quoted a fair price and installed the new boiler next day without issue. We called Aquino Plumbing & Heating based on the great reviews, and we were not diappointed. We are dealing with serious plumbing problems in my brothers townhouse following his death. There are some failing pipes with active leaking. Darren tested the plumbing and made sure the water to the leaking pipes was shut off. He also made a quick fix to get the only remaining toilet to perform better. He did a thorough inspection of all exposed plumbing, and he conferred with the crew who were remediating the mold caused by the leaks about the problems they had discovered. He then advised us to wait to replace the bad pipes until we renovate the home, which we will do in a few months. He said any work done now would be only a partial fix and would involve replacing only portions of plumbing that may need to be completely replaced once everything is opened up. We were concerned that urgent repairs might be needed to prevent more damage and more mold. Darren reassured us rather than encouraging us to do work that may need to be done over. We really appreciate this. Thanks so much!

I had a recent plumbing issue in my house. My laundry metal pipe line bursted in the basement. The old metal pipe line was connected to main sewer through the cinder blocks and it was completely buried under my kitchen first floor as well. On top of that, my kitchen line was also connected to the laundry line . It was completely a disaster in my basement because both laundry and kitchen water was immediately coming back through the basement foundation wall and it was all over. I called bunch of plumbing companies but they couldn’t figure out how to fix it and it was a big expense job.The North Jersey (Acquino) plumbing company sends their expert plumbers Darin and his assistant Alex . They were very innovative, patient and creative, they tried few techniques to access the broken pile line and the main sewer that did not work , because my basement was also finished but finally they were able to accomplish this complicated project very successfully with their creativity and patience. They cut the old pipe and installed the new line and tested everything with complete satisfaction.They were also very professional, courteous and they did not leave any mess behind . This job was not an easy job, they also dig the ground to connect the new laundry line to the main sewer line and used new technology by using the camera.In the mean while , the office secretary Cindy stopped by my house to deliver the required tools that Darin needs them to complete rest of the job.She was also very cooperative, patient and committed. They all delivered above and beyond with complete satisfaction and with quality work.I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any plumbing work with quality and with a reasonable price.

I used these guys a few times before but for small plumbing jobs. This time i used them to service my baseboard heating system. They came to the house the very next day after making the call. They worked relentlessly to solve the issue as one of my thermostats was not talking to the boiler we we activated the heat from the thermostat. It was tricker then expected so they were at my house for 3 hours yesterday and they stayed late. They needed a new part so they came back to the house the next day at 9am sharp and spent another 2 hours. Everything worked perfectly after they were done and i thought there price/labor for the amount of time they spent was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again

I lived at the Grande at Riverdale and had a leak with my water heater, and needed it fixed quickly as I was in the process of selling my condo. At the Grande, the AC units and water heater units are special units, making them harder to find, more difficult to install and repair, and therefore, costlier. Aquino Plumbing inspected my water heater the same day the leak was found and quoted me the best price of three total recommended service providers I called. They located a new water heater to pick up the next morning, came by right after, and spent a few hours removing the old unit, installing the new one, and cleaning up everything. Afterward, the manager/dispatcher applied for the permit on my behalf.I would highly recommend Aquino Plumbing! Thank you!

There are three things me and my wife look for when we hire service providers:1. Patience in dealing with people who have no knowledge in their craft,2. Punctuality and ability to explain the situation at hand and what the resolution is, and3. Reasonable costWe needed a plumber because: pressure reducing valve was leaking water and expansion tank was shot (I know...it doesnt make any sense to you but Ross could explain)Ross, the owner, was referred to me by a neighbor. Immediately after leaving a voicemail, he reached out and we scheduled an estimate for the same day. He was thorough in examining the issue and educated me and my wife on plumbing dos and donts. We ended up having to replace our pressure reducing valve and expansion tank and his price was very fair. He came for our agreed upon appointment and was meticulous in his job. Happy to say that a week later, our water leakage issue is resolved and were very much more aware because of Rosss guidance of what to look out before it becomes an emergency. Ive dealt with many, MANY service providers who do not explain the situation at hand well or over charge above market price, but I ended up trusting Ross for his truthfulness and his ability to get plumbing issues fixed. After years of searching, hes my plumbing guy, and I can assure you that hell satisfy your plumbing needs as well, promptly and fairly.

Over the 10 years we’ve been in this house we’ve called people to come snake out clogs, but a leaky 1st floor shower drain than soaked through our basement bathroom ceiling was the first time we needed a “plumber” plumber. We called Aquino Plumbing based on Google reviews: 31 of them (a good sample size); all “5 stars” (universal praise is unusual); and what those reviews said (prompt, responsive, transparent, honest, skilled). So glad we called, and we’re happy to add our own 5-star review.Texted them on a Sunday and heard back that day. By Monday we had arranged a Tuesday AM appointment, and Ross appeared on time as promised. What looked to me like an impossible-to-reach problem that might involve pulling the shower apart from the first floor took Ross about 10 minutes to assess. He gave us flat price for the job that was so much less than what we were expecting I was SURE he would end up adding to it at the end with “extra time” or “unanticipated this-and-that”.I think it took a little longer than expected, but Ross found a way to make the space he needed from underneath. And after running out to get the parts he needed, he made pretty quick work of the job once he got going. The plumbing he removed might have been “DIY” work from a prior owner of the house. Ross explained what he found (or didn’t find) in that work, which explained why it started leaking over time. He explained what he was doing differently so that I had a better understanding. Looking at that drain now, there’s such a clear difference between professional plumbing work and the work of someone who just tried to figure it out. The leak is now gone, and we have confidence it is gone for good. And the price he quoted before he stated the work is the price he charge at the end.Working with Ross is exactly as everyone else has already noted. Very impressive all the way around. High praise. No negatives. If we ever need a plumber again, he gets the call without hesitation; and we’ll recommend him to family and friends whenever anyone asks.

What can I say! Ross pretty much outperforms everyone on quality of service. We had a New Years emergency and Ross responded immediately to our call. No one else was available, and technically neither was Ross given the holiday and his own family medical emergency. Yet, he decided to help us via video diagnosis of our issue, remotely. We got to the bottom of it pretty quick: our water heater was leaking, and discovering this enabled us to stop the leak. On Monday, his team members were able to get us a new heater and do a replacement right away. He even put a tray under our heater and a leak alarm so that we could detect future leaks before they flooded our flooring. Ross and his team are personable and super thorough with their work. Ross Aquino, who underpromised and overdelivered, displayed the utmost professionalism (he was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly), while saving me money. Though this was his first service call to my house, he made me feel so comfortable that I felt like I had let a trusted family plumber into my home, not a masked stranger.He not only asked the right questions but also listened actively, while offering two choices for each job: repair or replace. (For example, a problematic toilet can be repaired or altogether replaced with a brand new unit.)Though the economy has been on lockdown, my bills have not, so, working with a tight budget, I said, “Hey, Ross, do you mind if I call my wife? I just need to confer with her about the costs involved with regards to repairing vs. replacing. Being a family man himself, Ross, understood my desire to prioritize with the boss — ahem, I mean my wife. “Sure, no problem at all,” he replied. “Would you like me to step outside?” Feeling not the least bit awkward, I replied without hesitation. “No, please stay. It’s fine.”Upon hearing that we had decided to postpone replacing the kitchen sink’s old and slow-dripping faucet, he assured me, saying, “That won’t be a problem at all, Richard. I’ll take care of the most pressing need now. I’m just a phone call away. Feel free to call me whenever you’re ready.”After Ross had assessed my most pressing plumbing problem (in this case, one of my bathroom’s toilet tank was continuously leaking copious amount of water into a bucket underneath. Also, its old, inefficient flapper valve failed to properly shut in one out of eight flushes), he patiently explained what needed to be done (he compared the repair and replace options), quoted the job’s cost, and estimated its duration (an hour and fifteen minutes). Well, he was done in less than forty minutes, and he charged me less than the quoted price, while explaining that it took him less time and fewer parts than he had anticipated. (Luckily, the toilet tank had no hairline crack. He replaced the old gaskets and seals, and he installed a new flapper valve.) Without being asked, Ross also tightened the washer and nuts of the toilet’s loose seat.Relieved that my toilet problem was now resolved, I pointed to the adjacent sink’s leaky faucet. Ross advised not me not to spend the money to fix it, pointing out that the leak, which was very slight, could easily be stopped by precisely centering the faucet’s handle and pressing it down gently but tightly. Guess what? Mr. Aquino was right. As he was demonstrating, he casually added, “Oh, by the way, I removed two caps that were stuck a few inches down this sink’s drain pipe.” (A certain family member had carelessly let the caps of Crest toothpaste tubes fall down the drain, which doesn’t have a pop-up stopper.)Following his departure, I thought, “Wow, one would never know that a plumber was here. My floors and fixtures are clean.” Ross is very confident, but humble and conscientious; moreover, his prices are much more competitive than what other plumbers charge. Though he’s very young, he has years of experience, and it shows. Undoubtedly, I will be calling Aquino Plumbing and Heating LLC for all my plumbing needs, both great and small.

They were timely and professional and fixed both the leaking main shut off valve and replaced my washing machine valve turning it into 2 separate valves in a matter of about 20 mins. They are reliable and I trust their work and I will definitely use them again for any future work that I need done! Highly recommend!

Ross and his assistant Dave showed up right on time and installed a new bathroom faucet fixture and replaced some older corroded pipes under the vanity.. Ross and Dave worked quickly and efficiently and did a really good job. They were polite and professional and the price was more than fair. I would definitely recommend Aquino Plumbing and will use them again.
