    I recently had a plumbing issue at my home and was very impressed with the service I received from Gray Plumbing in Fairfield. The technicians, Eric and Cole, were incredibly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and quickly assessed the problem.     I have only great things to say about Gray Plumbing. I was LUCKY to have chosen them from the local Yellow-page, to determine the source of moisture that had accumulated on the floor of our spare bedroom and make the necessary repairs. Eric was great. His communication skills were only exceeded by his plumbing skills. Since, he completed the job, other contractors who were used for mold mitigation, , have commented favorably on Eric’s work. They are not cheap,, but I think they are worth every penny.

    Highly recommend Gray Plumbing for reliability, expertise, efficiency, value and courtesy. Plumbers Eric and Michael were lifesavers when I had major plumbing problems right before Christmas. I had contacted an individual plumber who found a pipe problem under my house that was more than he could deal with. I contacted Gray Plumbing and Eric came promptly, identified and explained the problem, and showed photos. Eric and Michael replaced several badly corroded and leaking pipes under the house, keeping me abreast of what they were doing. They laid paper in the house keeping the floor immaculate. They were quiet, polite and worked quickly. Thank you Eric and Michael for doing a great job.

    Today I had a plumbing technician from Gray Plumbing come out to my home to replace a kitchen faucet. The company thoroughly explained the cost of the job and my options and even gave me the option of having a service agreement to get a 25% discount on subsequent work. I was able to get the appointment quickly and the technician Kyle was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend Gray Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs!

    I was happy that Eric Brown showed up to fix our plumbing. I found out about Gray Plumbing when they sent an email with a special they were offering. They got me an appointment the same day and Eric spent 4 hours fixing two problems. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was up and running before he left. I never felt that he was trying to oversell, and his explainations were straightforward.Before Eric arrived, Gray plumbing sent me his picture and a brief bio, so I felt comfortable with him when he showed up.My husband and I dreaded calling a plumber and we were both impressed with Gray plumbing and Eric Brown.

    Tech Eric is awesome. He came to my house to fix a pipe, explain what the situation was and how it caused the leak. He fixed the problem same day. Eric and his company has a truck that comes prepared with all the tools and parts that is needed to get the job done same day.

    This was my second time using Jeff’s, company, Gray Plumbing. Today the service technician was Michael. I had a small problem with the valve in one of my commodes. I had replaced it my self before. But this time, the 40 year old pipe from the wall to the commode could not take the bending anymore. I call Gray Plumbing. I have two other bathrooms so the repair was not an emergency. They scheduled the repair right away and Michael showed up on time and got to work. He gave me an estimate that was more than fair but as he got further into the job, it became apparent to both him and I it was going to require more work and money. As I said this house and the fixtures are 40 years old and the commode wasn’t even attached to the floor or exhaust pipe anymore. It was just there (See Photo). A complete rebuild of the commode all the way to the exhaust was required and MIchael did the job it a fantastic fashion. I will not hesitate to call the company again and hope it is either Michael or Jeff that responds..

    Deontae Frank did a superb job all around. He explained about the company first and asked specific questions to narrow down the exact issues. Once that was done he explained, well, more than any other service person in recent memory. He was thorough, to say the least. I never felt he was rushing through the process. He examined every plumbing feature inside and out, another first. In short, I cannot say enough about how great a job Deontae did. Bravo!

    Superb customer service! I called, spoke to a rep, explained my issue and was told a technician could be out the same day in a matter of hours. Received a call from the technician Eric within an hour after my initial call and he came out 15 minutes later! Excellent response time.     I cannot speak more highly of this company. First, they were able to get me an appointment within 2 hours of my call. Next they sent over JEREMY SMITH...nice guy, polite, informative, and a Skilled repairman. The guy made the price alot more digestible, which I will say was pretty high but not outside of the average costs of a plumber. Very refreshing to see a Skilled Trades guy come out with this sort of salesmanshipand professionalism. Gotta appreciate a company that keeps guys like this on staff. IT MEANS THINGS WILL GET DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. They will be my go to plumbers from now on!

    What a pleasant experience! From the service agent who took my phone call to the contractor who repaired my mistake, I highly recommend this company! The service agent who took my call was very police and made me feel like an important customer. The contractor, Eric, who came to do the repairs was very professional and transparent in all the work and fees that were required. Eric did an amazing job and left my house in better condition than it was before he arrived. The service was so amazing I opted into their Platinum maintenance Service Agreement. Everything was explained to me clearly and the person I spoke to was kind and polite.     We were very happy with the excellent service we received from Gray Plumbing. We called to find out if they could assist us as our washer was overflowing with water. The next day they sent two of their staff members, Eric and Diante, and they cleaned out the clogged pipes. In addition, they discovered that we had some other issues, including the need to replace our water heater. They inspected the plumbing under our kitchen sink and our bathroom sink which had some leaks, and they recommended that we update the piping. We also asked them to install a new kitchen sink. We were very pleased with their work and the pricing, and all of it was completed within a few days. Their staff was very thorough, professional, and friendly. 5 STARS!!

The service technician who came to my home was professional, courteous, and respectful of my home. He wore and changed shoe covers when going in and out of my home.     We have used Gray Plumbing for our bathroom remodel and have found everyone to be very professional and quick to respond.Jeremy was very nice and got right to work on connecting our vanity faucets, drains and shower and cleaned up thoroughly after his work. Unfortunately we did have leaking form the drain pipes after he left but Gray plumbing immediately sent out a service technician Kyle who fixed the problem straight away and was very thorough to ensure no further leakage.I will return to use Gray plumbing for any future needs and would highly recommend their services.

    Comapring to a four hour window that other Plumbing Companies provided, Gray Plumbing gives a two hour window is much more reasonable and considerate to customers needs. The service expert, Eric Brown, showed up in early part of two hour window was really a good surprise to me.     My mothers bathroom toilet got clogged and I needed someone to go over as quickly as possible. Shes elderly and the bathroom is even more necessary at her stage. Called another company firstThey said theyd have their rep reach out to me. After 30 minutes and no return call, I reached out to Grays and am SO GLAD I did! Not only did they have a technician there with 30-40 minutes of the call, they actually answered their phone (not an answering service) and listened closely to the details I gave about how to interact with my mother who suffers with dementia. The office rep was very personable and professional as was the technician. Will definitely keep them on my list of trustworthy service providers.

    Gray Plumbing did a great job! I opted for a Rinnai RUR199iN tankless water heater to replace my 23 year old tank water heater. A lot of work goes into the install of the tankess heater and Gray Plumbings two techs did a great job. Although their estimate was higer than others, they are a Union shop and I knew the work would be done correctly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. In fact, I signed up for their annual service agreement. I know I wont make time to maintain the water heater; Ill let the professionals do it.

    This was a first-time call to Grays after doing a little web searching for a local plumber. The call was quick and professional and they were able to come out the same day with a scheduled arrival time between 12 and 2 pm. Due to an error on my part, I was not home and received a call at 12:02 that they were at the house, ready to go. I know better than to expect that every time, given the unknowns of any earlier work they may be on, but needless to say it made one heck of a first impression. Michael and Manny were thorough, professional, and worked through the challenges of dealing with 40+-year-old kitchen faucet piping, corroded shut-off valves, seized fittings, etc, in 2 adjacent houses. After an inspection, the reasonable price was quoted upfront and that was what it was when it was all said and done. We are back up and running, with 2 new faucets, cleanly installed water lines, and no trace of all the cutting, bending, and other efforts they had to put into making it happen. 100% chance they will be our first call for any work we need moving forward. This was an extreme emergency causing much frustration, anxiety and concern about a possible extreme repair cost. Following my call for help, a repairman (DEONTAE FRANK, Plumbing Service Expert) promptly arrived as scheduled and politely listened to my report of the problem. Afterwards, he was very clear and thorough in explaining his job policy, planned investigative work and cost estimate. He offered alternative repair ideas, keeping in mind my concern about the cost. I was very impressed with his patience in clarifying any questions I had. I was also impressed with his technical knowledge and methodical testing procedure. DEONTAES personality and professionalism was greatly appreciated and strengthened my confidence in his ability to successfully repair the problem, which he did.     Several months ago, we had a leaking toilet. Mike came out to our house and repaired the leak. I then realized (since I had a handy plumber on site), I should finally replace the broken faucet in the same bathroom. We already bought a replacement faucet...about a year ago...and just never actually replaced it (embarrassing). So Mike installed the faucet as well! Very quickly I might add! Then he checked our outdoor pressure valve, and found that the pressure into the house was too high. He replaced that valve.I will admit, there was a little bit of sticker shock when it came to replacing the valve, but we called them back recently about water pressure and temperature fluctuations in our downstairs shower. He diagnosed that the pressure balance cartridge in the valve needed to be replaced. But then he also checked the water pressure into the house, and recognized that the pressure valve previously installed by them was malfunctioning. Because the work is warrantied, Mike replaced the valve again at no cost. Im very happy that the company stands by their work, and Mike goes above and beyond to provide great customer service.

    I give his company and a five start rating. Initially I was very impressed with the professionalism of my phone contact with them and all the more with their text/email system of keeping you up to date. They sent both an email and text to confirm my appointment, another when they were in route and even another when they actually arrived. However, I was taken aback a little with pricing. I needed a new water heater and a leaking outdoor pipe/valve fixed. Their pricing for the water heater was a full 1K more than the $1600 I paid another company who does nothing but water heaters.The price estimate for the leaking valve was also higher than other estimates I was given but I decided to go with them for the leaking valve anyway since it turned out the owners son was a friend of my son and it was pretty apparent to me they were very professional and the quality would be good. Im glad I did. After the replacement of the valve, a leak was present from one of the solder unions. But they noted it, informed me, and were out the next day to completely redo the whole valve/pipe assembly which required several additional parts as it connected to our sprinkler system. It probably took double the time as well as additional parts costs and I was waiting for them to try and tell me the price would be more as a result. But they stuck with the estimate given to me from the outset. That speaks volumes about the integrity of this company. And the individual who did the work was pleasant as well as professional. If you need a water heater, you can find a better price with a company that specializes in only water heaters (better price but not better quality). When it comes to plumbing though, you may find a little lower price, but I doubt youll find a better or more ethical company. Sometimes the cheapest is the most expensive.

    The terrific plumber who was sent to check check the water outlet that the Lowe’s installer said was in need of repair found that all the “damage” was was just Teflon tape, cleaned it and certified it ready for installation of my washer hoses. The Lowe’s installer returned and finished that installation but then claimed my gas pipe wasn’t the correct size. I could see that all that was needed was right there in the kit from Lowe’s but their installers couldn’t seem to be able to figure it out. I called the plumber who went out of his way to get here. The plumber confirmed what I could see. The plumber connected it in a jiffy. I found the plumber to be skilled and personable. I wish I would have had the plumber do the installation from the beginning. The best part was the plumber understood and spoke English. The crew from Lowe’s didn’t. As a result of Lowe’s ineptitude, I had to pay twice to get my washer and dryer hooked up.
