    Ty and Andrew were very helpful in coming and assessing our issue as a local business. They were in and out super fast. Only complaint was not about them but we were just given an incorrect estimate of arrival from the desk people the first time around. The second time was correct. It was nice also getting a text before hand letting them know they were on the way and introducing themselves.

    The technician who came out, Michael Wasilewski, was polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure working with him. There was a glitch in the installation which required a second visit, but he came back early the next day and took care of everything quickly and professionally.

    Very good experience. Explanations about current issues, recommended fixes and the repair process were all clear. All of my questions were answered clearly. I understood what they were doing and why. All staff were prompt and courteous. They took extra care to avoid damaging a special tree, a great relief to us. Rick, the pipe lining technician, in particular was helpful explain the sophisticated pipe lining technology.Also, the cost was over 20% less than another well-known local plumbing company.I recommend Blanton without reservations.

    Josh saved Christmas! Our kitchen sink needed to be rooted on Christmas Day. Josh came out, got the job done, and was in great spirits. He’ll be part of our family Christmas stories forever. Oh, and as he left, since he was parked in our garage he insisted on taking out the trash. Serious, he was fantastic.

    We love J. Blanton Plumbing Co. and are so glad to be a part of their no drip club. They have saved us a ton of money and headache by proactively finding possible issues and getting in front of it. Christian Morales from J. Blanton has been over to perform service a couple of times. He is extremely respectful and thorough. At his recent visit, he not only did a comprehensive job of preventive sewer and water heater maintenance, he went above and beyond to even check the toilet of our coach house, which was not a part of his scheduled service.

    The technician was great. He knew what he was doing. I would have given a 5 rating except the management didnt give him the correct parts on the truck to fix our problem. He was forced to go to a hardware store to get the parts. I expected management to make sure the correct parts are available for the technician. Again the technician was great, but he was left down byManagement.

    Rick, Steven and their team did an outstanding job diagnosing our problem and coming up with the best solution to our very difficult sewer nightmare. 60 + year house with disintegrating cast iron pipes everywhere. Team installed liners and managed to save the finished floors. Rick and Steve were real pros that know what they’re doing and excellent working with customers.     I called J.Blanton plumbing to look at my water softener because I wasnt getting pressure in my fridge and the ice machine wasnt working well. I thought maybe there was build up in the lines. I had Edgar come and look at everything. He helped me fix my fridge problem and took the time to look at out water heater and gave us advice on what to do next. He was very knowledgeable and layed out the pricing and how we can go about getting everything fixed. We will definitely be calling them back when we have a problem or to install our new water heater.

    Great experience working with J Blanton Plumbing. We called in need of emergency plumbing help and Edgar came out right away to assess the situation and arranged to help us the very next day.     Recent update: Edwin and crew did an amazing job doing extensive work over two days. Edwin was detailed, considerate, communicated well, and was readily available for follow on questions after the job was completed. Highly professional and excellent work.Weve had dig crews, sewage/drain specialists, water treatment specialists, and plumbers come out to complete a variety of jobs at our house and every experience has been excellent. Saul, Rick, Kevin, Evan, Alex, Vince, Ian and others (whom we dont remember their name) did an outstanding job. They were highly professional, detailed, and responsive throughout. J. Blanton retains some of the most skilled plumbers and specialists that weve come across. Highly recommended!

    Plumber was friendly and explained what he was doing. Water heater was quickly installed. There were problems removing a screw in a capsule in my bathroom shower. He suggested replacing the whole unit, which involves smashing some tiles. This seems excessive, as I cant see how a screw cant be removed.

    Josh saved the day on Christmas morning! I discovered a sewer back up late on the 24th, freaked out because I was hosting 19 people for Christmas dinner, called for an appointment the morning of the 25th, and Josh showed up an hour later. He couldn’t have been more friendly and professional, especially considering it was Christmas morning! He was a pleasure to work with.     Chase and his crew handled a sewer repair project (cracked pipe) professionally: they answered questions, explained the process, worked steadily, and cleaned up thoroughly. They were respectful throughout of people and property. The project involved removing patio bricks, and they were careful not to damage the bricks during removal (a major concern of mine). Bricks were stacked neatly for later reinstallation by a landscaper. They also rodded the sewer to remove tree roots and checked the operation of the ejector pump. Very satisfied with their work and the follow-up.I have used J Blanton for many plumbing jobs over the years and have found the technicians to be knowledgeable and helpful and the work professional.

    The cast iron drain pipe busted open from the the cap (cast iron plug was corroded ) unbeknownst to my elderly Mother. My sister was caring for Mom and found sewage on the basement floor. I called 5 different plumbers leaving vm and actually talking to 3 other plumbing companies who were booked the entire day and could come out the next afternoon. The 5th call was the charm. J Blanton in Naperville were able to send a tech out within 1.5 hours. After it was assessed and a game plan was made the tech said it would be repaired tomorrow morning. Also, it was cleared that we could use the downstairs toilet and kitchen.The next day in the morning 2 techs came out: Alex and Teddy.They were both respectful knowledgeable and able to explain what occurred. The pipe was removed and replaced. It was tested with flow of water from upstairs.The sewage was removed from the floor. The floor was sanitized and clean. Mom can go down safely to the basement to do her laundry.We are very please with Teddy and Alex service. Please note both were very personable and had a very kind demeanor which is BONUS SERVICE.

    A long story made short. I moved into a 75-year-old house last year. Did not get the sewer inspected before closing. Soon after and randomly, Nicor had to check the sewer line for the potential of the gas line sharing the same space. They encouraged me to get a plumber to inspect it. Turns out that the 75-year-old clay pipe in yard was full of roots with quite a few minor offsets where the pipes connect. (How obvious, I know.)Enter J. Blanton. For a reasonable price, they inserted 50 of trenchless UV cured PVC liner from the cleanout to the city connection. They provided camera footage of the before and after.It is always better to be on the side of preventive maintenance, than reactive repair!

    We had a basement flood during a huge rainstorm and the guys from J. Blanton were a huge help. Andrew A. and Justin came out within about an hour of us calling and walked us through our options for repair and prevention of future floods in a straightforward and professional manner. They then came out the next day to install a new water heater. They were completely up front about about the cost and did efficient and high quality work. Wed definitely recommend them.Update:There was an active leak above the new water heater after initial installation. When I first called, the person I talked to was frankly unhelpful and said no one could come out until two days later. After putting a bucket under the leak I called again. A different person picked up and was willing to ask around to try and help us out. After a while we received a call from Andrew A., and him and Justin came back that same evening to fix the leak. Now everything is working great.

    If I could give Shane 10 stars I would! Shane was very informative and responsive to my needs. He fixed what was like 20+ years of grease and sediment build up in less than an hour. He was very diligent to make sure all my concerns about avoiding future plumbing issues were addressed. He’s the best plumber I’ve ever had (and I’ve hired a lot of plumbers over the years (i was a chef for 20 years).     Ben Cassello came to replace a valve for a kitchen hot water supply line. The original valve was 50 years old and had broken when a handyman tried to connect the new line and couldn’t find the right part. Ben said the valve was hard to find and that the problem was likely due to its age. He took care of the problem quickly and was courteous, personable, careful, professional, and efficient. He answered all my questions. Very happy with the same-day service.Side note: I think it was smart that they sent Jacob ahead of time to assess the problem and set a price. When Ben arrived, he could go directly to work with all the parts he needed.

    This is the 2nd time I hired J. Blanton over the past year. Our hot water heater was still the original from when our house was built 37 years ago (they dont make them like they used to).We were concerned over its age even though it was still performing well. We asked to receive an estimate for both traditional tank system and for a tankless system. Jordan came out the following morning and spent a good deal of time with us explaining the pros and cons of both systems and we decided to stay with the traditional tank. The installation crew came out the following morning and by noon we had our new water heater installed. They cleaned up after themselves to the point I couldnt tell they were ever there. J.Blanton is the only plumbing service I will ever hire.
