CJ Plumbing came through for us quickly and perfectly, even over a weekend leading up to the Winter Holdays. We had an awful burning plastic smell start coming through our house and wondered if it could be the furnace or something plumbing-related. We found them through a search and called on a Sunday. We spoke in-person to Dmitry and got service set up the following Monday.Lenny was our plumber, and he quickly diagnosed our issue as a failing sewer ejector pump. He had all of the materials ready to go on his truck at a reasonable price and was able to do the job in only two hours. He also helped out with improving the shower flow in our main bathroom and replacing the batteries on our sump pump backup generator.I know a lot of people are going to balk at a labor rate of $275/hr, but CJ Plumbing was incredibly responsive and efficient. Also, the whole cliche of you can pay now or pay even more later. Well definitely reach out to them first with any issues in the future.

Lenny just left and I am glad I called this company. Not only he did a fantastic job but also he didnt try to sell us on stuff that would cost us an arm and I sooo appreciate it!We wewre looking to prevent our pipes from bursting because of our hosebib and instead of cutting into our drywall and rummaging through so many pipes 9We have an old house) he offered a great solution that was super efficient and only cost $50 more then the original quote that was already super reasonable.He explained everything but was not wordy and super super nice.We will definitely call them if we need another plumbing job and I cannot recommend them enough!

1st time calling a plumber: a leaky hot water valve gave us concern but after a quick phone call in the morning, the technician arrived by early afternoon and had the job done in an hour!I appreciated that during my initial call I was able to send a video and photo to CJs co-owner and coordinator so everyone was on the same page about the issue. Later a photo of the technician was sent to me so I would feel safe and certain of who it was attending the job. He was pleasant to talk with and explained what he assessed the damage was that caused the leak and what he did to remedy. He even had me verify the water pressure and temperatures to be sure the job was done properly.I’m very happy to have had a skilled technician meet our needs in the same day with a high level of communication throughout. A leak due to an older shower faucet upstairs caused damage in the wall and the downstairs ceiling. Instead of trying to repair the old faucet, we decided to replace it. Due to old style setup, installation of a new faucet required pipes infrastructure changes. Based on a recommendation from my neighbor, we contacted CJ Plumbing & Heating to perform the pipes redesign and the new faucet install. From the initial communication with the owner until the work was completed, the process was smooth and straightforward. Weve used so many plumbing companies over the years, and my wife and I are so relieved weve finally found CJ Plumbing, because we feel like they can be trusted, and we dont need to shop around any more. Dmitry offered to install two new faucets THE SAME DAY if I needed. I didnt, so he sent Lenny out the next morning. Their price was significantly lower than the two other estimates we received from other plumbers. Lenny was at the door right at 7AM, as agreed. Great service, quality and price! We had an emergency sewer back up and needed to replace 8ft of cracked clay pipe. Called CJ Plumbing late on Tuesday, the week of Thanksgiving, and he had Tylers Underground come out the next morning and replace everything for a great price. He checked in throughout the day to make sure things were going well and I was happy. Then on top of all of that he had a plumber come out within 15 minutes to help us with a completely separate issue. Highly recommend CJ Plumbing!

First contact was with Dmitry to get an estimate. He was responsive, thorough, and honest in his estimate. He recommended that we start with a less expensive option to investigate a possible leak which seems to have been the right choice based on what was discovered after removing the upstairs toilet. Lenny who was the plumber who came to the house was punctual, thorough, and efficient. He started in the master bath and explained everything while taking pictures to follow up. He installed an extender and replaced the seal for one flat rate. We had some other smaller jobs and Lenny repaired what was needed within the time frame originally given and cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend CJ plumbing.

CJ Plumbing was a pleasure to work with. I first spoke with Dimetry over the phone to discuss a leaky toilet and a garbage disposal that stopped working. He had a wealth of knowledge that actually enabled me to restart my garbabe disposal and not have to replace it. His team member Lenny, then came out the next day to repair our leaky toilet, and it turned out our toilets wax ring hadnt been replaced in years, it wasnt even a wax ring, but putty which no one uses any more. He knew exactly what do to and had us up and running in no time. The team is very professional and responsive and real experts in the field. I will be hiring them again. Working with the Dmitrys (both the owner and the plumber who came today) was great. Super knowledgable and Dmitry (the owner) told me he was a state inspector for plumbing. Doesnt hurt to have the person fixing your systems to be someone who checks others work!We had a multitude of problems - a body spray shower head that wasnt working, a disconnected tub stopper, a floor drain in the laundry room that was stopped up, and the big project - adding in a backup battery-powered sump pump system.Everything was repaired and is all in working order. Dmitry (the plumber who came today) was very kind and explained how the new sump pump system worked. Everything was clean and professional along the way.As a bonus - we had a Grohe faucet that we inherited that had a bunch of scratch marks on it. Dmitry (the owner) connected us with a local Grohe rep and got us replacement parts free-of-charge!Would highly recommend for your plumbing needs.

I was in need of several small jobs in an older house that we are trying to renovate. Dmitri was professional, and made great recommendations for us during his initial walk through. Understanding I am on a tight budget, Dmitri was happy to help with the installation of our shower feed lines, fixing aleak that had been problematic. Further, his technician did an amazing job installing our new toilet and his workmanship for the new piping was pristine. We used CJ Plumbing for some kitchen work. They came out the same day I called to check out what needed to be done, set up a time, and give a quote. Our countertops were delayed which then delayed the plumbing work on the stove and sink. They were still able to come back within 24 hours to do the work. Our stove had no gas shut off so they installed a shut off and connected the cooktop. The plumbing under the sink was all messed up, not up to code, and they did a phenomenal job correcting all the plumbing there as well. Not only efficient, but done very well. Will definitely have them come back for future plumbing work we need done.

After describing my plumbing problem over the phone, he thought that sending out a plumber for the task would not be a good decision - it would cost way too much for what needed to be done. So, I asked if I could get a consultation over the phone, which I would pay for gladly. He agreed to help me but declined the payment! Wow. He could have sent out a plumber, which would have cost hundreds of dollars just to have the problem looked at, but instead, after I sent him a few pictures, he walked me through what needed to be done, without charging me a penny. I cant imagine a better plumbing company. I first called them when water stopped draining down our kitchen sink. They came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and cleared it. A few weeks later, when we noticed a leak coming from our closet ceiling, I called right away. They came out quickly again, diagnosed the exact problem, explained why the pipe had corroded, and repaired it with no time wasted. Fantastic, responsive service. I needed a leaking kitchen faucet fixed ASAP and they had someone out the next day. Lenny was extremely friendly, professional, and FAST. He was nice enough to patch a bad crack we had in our granite countertop near the faucet, and he even had some treats for our little dog. 3/18/21 edit:My bathtub water wasn’t going down as quickly as I’d hoped so after doing about 2 minutes of research, I decided to use a plastic drain snake I got off Amazon. I stuck about a ft in and when I tried pulling it out, it broke off inside. Turns out, you’re not supposed to use those in tubs... ay yi yi.I called CJ Plumbing and Dmitry sent someone out the next day. I thought they’d have to open up the wall because the thing was so deep but they managed to get it out in no time. These guys are my go-to plumbers because they’re so quick and the work is good. Thank you again!May 2020After my basement flooded from a very heavy rain, I was looking for a plumber to diagnose and fix the issue. I had previously called a variety of basement-flood companies and they all told me something different so this time I knew I needed to get an actual plumber.A family friend recommended C&J Plumbing and Dmitry showed up that same day to have a look. He determined that the water came in from my sump pit/drain due to pump failure and replaced it with a stronger model. He also advised that a battery backup pump would be a good idea because if the power goes out during a storm, I could have another flood. The flooding completely killed my water heater as well which he replaced.Despite most of Chicagoland dealing with major flooding, and my place being a relatively small job, he gave me his full attention and worked to resolve this issue in the span of a few days so that another rain wouldn’t get me. He was also super easy to reach and responded to both calls and texts ASAP. When all was said and done, the price he gave me for installing two brand new pumps was cheaper than the basement flood companies.We just had a really hard rain last night and everything worked great, no flooding! Overall, I’m really happy with C&J Plumbing and I’ll call them again the next time something goes wrong.
