Highly recommend! I’ve been using T. J.’s for my furnace inspection and cleaning each September for the last four years. My previous plumber was retiring, so I found TJs randomly. My back of the house Garden faucet had a pretty bad leak. It was old too, maybe around 50+ years. So I called TJs plumbing on Friday morning around 8am, someone came over that same day (maybe like 9:30am) to look at the issue, then the my issue was resolved by 11am. I am pretty happy with the service from start to finish. The receptionist was very nice and the plumber was clear on what he needed to do and recommend improvement. I will definitely use this company again in the future and recommend to all.

We called TJs Plumbing after 2 previous plumbers were not able to remove the hose that had rusted onto our spigot. Not only did TJs remove the hose...they replaced the spigot with a new one that functioned much better and added an additional one to the back of the house. Dave was professional, knowledgeable and personable. He went over and above to get the right parts and cleaned up afterwards. We definitely would recommend TJs (and Dave)!

We had a Navien unit installed just over a year ago. When a part went belly-up, TJs came out right away. The part was under warranty, but the labor was not, but only by a few months. Since it was so close, TJ decided not to charge us for the labor (even though he could have). Keith was our technician who came out and he was fantastic! Very friendly, well-informed, and communicative. Made us feel like we were in good hands. Long story short, the problem is fixed and Im not broke! Thank you! You guys are awesome!

I want to throw out an atta-boy to a couple of TJs troops...Matt and Ron...They came to the house to winter service our furnace...That went very well...In looking around the area he noticed that something looked wrong with my water heater...its located next to the furnace...With further inspection Matt found many defects...Returning to the shop he discussed the problem with the shop manager, he immediately call us to set up a appointment to take a good look... They took the exhaust pipe off and had to get behind the wall where the found the whole pipe was rotten away so bad that the metal was like sand...It must have been like that for years!!! On top of that it was leaking a low grade of carbon monoxide...Not enough to set off our carbon monoxide detector but enough that it could be causing health problems unknown to us over the years.. Especially with piping behind walls...Long story short Thank you Thank you Matt and Ron for being so thorough and attention to detail in find a severe problem and making it right...We never knew and probably wouldnt have know there was a problem and would have continued breathing in the carbon monoxide poison....Thanks again guys for doing an Outstanding job...I have been using TJs plumbing and heating now for almost 20 years since retiring from the Air Force and now that my daughter has a home she uses them to for all there needs...I highly recommend TJs all there technicians highly qualified and very professional...Thank you again!!!

TJs is the BEST!!! When I called the manger Tim was there within a hour. Gave us multiple options and different price points explaining every detail and zero pressure. Don came out and replace our shower bath unit the very next day. We live in a home that was built with NO access to the plumbing so Don had to work super hard. He showed up every day on time, worked thru many problems, left everything super clean each day and was so talented! We’ll never use another plumber! 1000% Satisfied!

We smelled gas in our mobile home and call National fuel. They determined there were multiple leaks in the line and shut the gas off. We call TJs plumbing as my 86 year old mother uses them and if they can satisfy her Im all for them!They came out very fast and determined the line needed complete replacement. It wasnt nice to hear however we cant go through Erie winter with no heat. This was a Saturday and they came back Monday to do the job. (We use some heaters my son gave us therefore Monday was fine.) Josh and Mario were the installers names and they were so kind and spent all day here to get the job done. It was really cold and it couldnt have been very nice under where they had to work. They explained things as they went and we felt very good about making the decision to go with TJs. They came in and told us we had to call National fuel and they secured everything underneath out home.I am so impressed with the expedient service, down to earth friendliness and professionalism that was shown to us by TJs Plumbing. Thank you so much for making this such a stress less experience.

We had a Saturday morning problem, and the staff from TJs got here pretty quick. The problem was bigger than it first appeared, and the crew was back on Monday morning to start work. Weve had terrible experiences with two other local plumbing contractors. I wont call anybody else but TJs from now on.

I called another place who came out, and looked it over, not telling me that they were gonna charge me after they did the looking. She explained and demonstrated problems with 22 yr old furnace, fixed me up with 2 very good electric heaters. Next day she and Dan showed up on time and by end of day they had installed a new furnace. These people are extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. The furnace is beautiful, runs great. After a dreadful experience with trying to get a quote from another contractor for some work I need to have done as a poor widow who just lost her husband for Valentines Day 2023 after 20 years of marriage, I was afraid to call anyone when my toilet (original one that came with our 100+ year old house) finally gave up the ghost. But I worked up the courage and called TJs and got a prompt response and an upfront estimate from technicians Nick and Dan when they arrived. They not only did a good job with replacing the toilet, they also treated me like a person whose needs mattered (i.e., they have an empathy chip—something most people are lacking). They treated me just as well and the job with just as much care as if I were somebody whos rich, successful and important living in a fancy home out in Frontier or Glenwood Heights, instead of being only a poor older widow who just lost her husband, who hasnt been fortunate in life. Being treated well, having quality work done, being respected and being dealt with honestly by being given a prompt estimate for the future project of a tankless HW heater thats reasonable matters a lot to me. Especially the empathy and decent treatment part. Id rather pay someone who was average in skill but big in the empathy and consideration department than someone whos a genius but an inconsiderate callous jerk. After National Fuel comes in 6-8 weeks to install the gas meter and issue new service for me, I plan on using TJs (hopefully Ill get Nick and Dan again—they were very nice and Id prefer them!) for two future projects—a tankless HW heater install to replace the defunct 40 gal tank thats as old as me (Im 55), which Nick got an estimate for me already and the price is reasonable, and a gas fireplace with a direct vent to replace my pellet stove. I would definitely reccommend TJs Plumbing & Heating to others.

I recently used TJ’s to service my central air unit. During the clean and check they discovered the not even 4 year old unit needed freon-possibly due to lack of valves being tightened from prior company who installed/serviced unit. A few days after the check I discovered the thermostat was climbing when using the A/C therefore causing the unit to run 6+ hours/day to cool down my home. Thinking it was a faulty thermostat (which was under warranty through the original installer) i called the original installer who wouldn’t even look at it for less than $120. Called TJ’s and explained my issues and they agreed to send someone over to take a look. During that time the gentleman found countless issues with my system due to the installation from original company-the unit was set for a 3 ton A/C when i only had a 2 ton system, the wiring from furnace to thermostat wasn’t properly done, fan speed wasn’t set correctly, etc. Hats off to TJ’s for making it right and going out of their way to fix issues that weren’t even their problem-they put the customer first at their expense and I am truly grateful! For the first time in 4 years my system is working the way it should! I would recommend TJ’s to anyone! Thanks again!

We had a bit of an emergency when our hot water tank decided to blow its bottom out and leak all over the cellar. I called a few places close to where we live and one could not help till the following week. One could come that day but they were not sure and if it was after closing time, it would be time and a half to pay. TJs called back about 10 minutes after my original call and said they were on the way. We had a new water heater installed with new shutoff valves and updated gas lines installed within 2 1/2 hours! These guys are nothing short of amazing -I walked into my basement around 11:30 pm on a Saturday night to find it flooded with water. I called TJs Plumbing around midnight and their answering service answered right away. She took my info and told me that the on-call plumber would be calling me within 20 minutes. 15 minutes later, my phone rang and it was Zack. He told me it was probably a backed up sewer line and that he could be out to fix it in a little while if I wanted him to.By this time, it was midnight on a Saturday. Just to set my mind at ease, I decided to have him come out, just to ease my mind and not have to wake up the next morning to a basement full of water.Zack arrived with his partner Dane within the next 20 minutes. These guys took a look around, asked a few questions and got right to work trying to fix the problem. What a relief it was to know that these guys had my back and were doing all they could to help me out of this horrible predicament I was in.Some time later, after lots of snaking and drilling noises, I watched all the water begin to go down the basement drain. What a relief it was to know they had found the problem and fixed it.If you find yourself in the same predicament as I was - even if it’s midnight on a Saturday, Call TJs.Thanks Zack and Dane. I went into the basement to find my basement full of water. I called a plumbing company. They said they could not get to the problem by snaking it and they would have to dig. Panic came about thinking of the cost & I didnt feel they were being honest. I felt like they was trying to make some extra money off me. I called Tjs plumbing. I explained my problem to the young lady that answered the phone. When they arrived they was courteous & professional. After asking me a few questions, they went to the basement & look it over. Long story short. they went in the basement came back up 30 minutes later and said we got it. I said are you sure? They said ( with confidence) it is fine maam:. I was so HAPPY! Words cant express how pleased I am with TJS PLUMBING & I WILL USE THEM IN THE FUTURE IF I HAVE TO & also recommend to others. Everything went as smoothly as can be! A week after we purchased our new home unfortunately we found our main line was clogged. I called up and was promptly greeted and scheduled with a time that worked for me. I had gas leak in my home called another contractor at 1st but never show up.kept telling me tommrow while in meantime I had no heat cause gas co turn gas off till repairs be made i finally called t j and they were there 1st thing in am gave est yes was not a cheap job but was done great before the leak I had to put my heater on 73 to 75 to keep warm now I put on 70 and ur roasting and I have very expensive ac heating unit and felt it should put out better heat now I know why cause I had a leak never knew I did I would advice use t j anytime they did very great job
