We have a bathroom in our basement and found these toilet tank cracked. Steve was unable to get a tank at a local retail shop. He immediately ordered a replacement tank. It arrived in 3 days. He scheduled the installation the following day. Steve was on time and did the installation quickly. He cleaned up the area and was happy to answer any questions we had.

They started work that day, and within a few hours, they knew what the problem was and also found issues that needed to be addressed. I am so grateful to Roto-Rooter Erie for the amazing customer service they gave me and for quickly clearing out a clogged sewer line for me. They were having some equipment problems and did not think they could get to me before the weekend. However, supervisors Jason and Scott came to my house late Friday afternoon to do the job for me personally. They could not have been nicer. The staff in the office is first rate. From my first call to them they kept me updated about when I could expect a service call. When it looked like it might be delayed they went out of their way to get me taken care of. I have had situations where service providers have not been so accommodating. Roto-Rooter went to great lengths to see that I was taken care of. My sincere thanks to everyone at Roto-Rooter.

They were great! They did the job quickly. They replaced the sewer line from the house to the street. They had to dig down 13 feet and about 10 feet long ditch. They were very safe in the way they worked! They used the proper safety equipment. They did not take any short cut and did the job correctly!! I did not feel like they charged me too much for the job they did! I will use them again if I need them again. I would say if you need a plumber to call them and you will get the job done right. The price they charge is not too much for the quality of work they will do for you!

She got me scheduled in and kept up with reminders and updates.The gentleman that arrived was named Jason and he was very professional and knowledgeable. During the assessment/estimate he had found a severe issue with my hot water tank that the previous plumbing service had made. I asked if he could fix it for me since I was not going to have the previous company come fix it, due to the severity of their install in Jan 2021.Roto Rooter/Jason corrected the following:•Drain and pipes-unclogged and replaced the screwy pipe mess under the Kitchen sink.•K.Faucet- (that was put in backwards years ago)• Hot water tank exhaust• Main bathroom commode/toliet- general repairHe was really fast and efficient. The two of them worked tirelessly removing concrete, excavating the area around a failed trap, replacing the trap, and installing a sump pump system. Every step of the way they explained what they were doing and why it was necessary. Sewage was seeping out from under the driveway in the front of the house. Our township sewer department performed a repair out front of our residence on a Thursday or Friday. We are on a sewage pump system where every house on our block must pump sewage uphill to a main sewage manhole. If the pump stops working an alarm goes off and we cant use anything related to water until the pump is working again. On Saturday morning after the repair I noticed that the sewage pump was now running nonstop then the alarm went off. We called Roto-Rooter and the dispatcher did her best to get someone over here on the weekend even though much of the crew was on vacation. They couldnt fit us in but not for lack of trying. They worked with us until late in the evenings on both Saturday and Sunday. This is a very tough job. Most plumbers wont touch it.Communication was excellent throughout. They came and replaced the pump first thing on Monday. The technician was amazed at what he found. The pump was so hot that the wires melted, the steel plate lid and surrounding concrete were hot (not warm) to the touch and the sewage water was steaming. The pump had overheated because it couldnt move the sewage.After promptly replacing the pump and the damaged wiring the pump pumped but still wouldnt move the sewage. The Roto-Rooter Technician worked with the township to identify the problem. The root cause was the township failed to reopen the sewage check valve after doing their work. The township promptly sent someone out, they dug around in the dirt, found and opened the check valve and now the pump is pumping again. The Roto-Rooter technicians stuck with the problem until it was solved even though their part was done. The townships failure to reopen the sewage check valve caused a premature failure of a very expensive sewage pump plus our house could have caught fire. The root cause of the problem was noted on paperwork by the RR technician and the township is going to cover the cost to replace the pump. A big THANKS to Roto-Rooter from the dispatcher to the two technicians who stuck with the problem until it was solved AND for providing the necessary documentation that is essential for us to get reimbursed for this nightmare. Will we call them again? You best believe it.

Stunning service! We had called two other plumbing services. Neither did a thorough look around, had honest interest, nor ambitious desire to help us with our situation. Roto-Rooter was the polar opposite! Jason was genuinely enthusiastic about helping us bring our house back to its homely state and was dedicated to finding out what happened in our basement. We had septic flooding that took keen investigation and a little out-of-the-box thinking and plenty of conversation with my husband and I. It wasnt long before we were able to find the source of the issue. We were informed of all our options with clear, honest layouts of what we could possibly expect. Jason guided us in next steps and gave us many options that we could do to remedy the situation and better our plumbing for the future. We havent started on the work for improvements, yet, as we have to get a few other things in place with the township, but we definitely are confident and relieved to have Roto-Rooters services and care. They have found customers for life with our family.

Excellent from start to finish. Had a plumber out the day before with a different company who wanted to charge us over $5,000 for something that did not need done and for a clog that Mike was able to assess and take care of in minutes. Called on a Saturday morning for a main drain line back up. Was told that tech was on another call and would be out as soon as he finished that job. Scott arrived within 2 hours, spent a good amount of time working with the eel, found a bunch of tree roots and did a great job clearing the drain. I will be using some foaming root killer regularly from now on and hope I wont need to call them again, but if I do I know I can count on them to get the job done. Thanks again Scott.

Katie in the office and Donnie in the field both offered the best service weve ever experienced! When Home depot was unable to install the dishwasher we purchased from them we called Roto-Rooter. Were so glad we did! Katie kept in touch with us so that we knew when the installer was coming, and Donnie was very polite and knowledgeable. What a great company! Scott was awesome! Within 3 hours had our broken hot water tank replaced and it was at a very reasonable price. He even cleaned our floors where he tracked a tiny bit of snow in. Would definitely recommend!
