I have had Jon come to my house multiple times for various plumbing issues and projects. Put simply, he earns the highest marks on workmanship and ethics. He is a great communicator, and also just a terrific person, who obviously takes pride in his work and cares about the community he lives in. He reminds me of those old-school trade professionals that were the very best ambassadors of their respective fields. Jon embodies those same personal qualities with the highest technical competency as well as honorable business practices. He earns every high mark.

Loved our experience with Jon! He came highly recommended for a reason. We wanted our shower drain snaked, a faucet repaired and ended up needing a new toilet. He was quick to respond throughout the whole process, kept us informed of costs, and explained the best options for our situation. We learned a lot about toilets and are sitting pretty on our new throne. Will be using him every time we need our plumbing looked at going forward.

Jon was fantastic. Timely, honest, professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He was prompt and reasonably priced - especially compared to the bigger companies. AND, as opposed to aforementioned companies, he took the time to figure out the root cause of the problems, which were actually easier fixes -rather than just replacing an entire fixture. We will definitely call Jon again for future plumbing needs.

Jon was great to work with! We couldn’t find our main water shut off valve or the water pressure reducing valve in an older home we purchased 2 years ago, and thought we needed to get both added to the home. Jon did his own sleuthing around the house and property and hypothesized they were located behind a section of the wall that was sheetrocked in. After agreeing to cut into the wall, he was right! We did have a main water shut off and the pressure reducing valve was there too but needed replacing. I really appreciated he took the extra time to figure out what was going on instead of just adding new valves. He communicated everything thoroughly along the way and asked permission before starting new work. On top of all of that, he helped fix a leaky spigot on his way out. He’ll definitely be my only go to plumber from now on!

I wanted to replace my aging hot water heater and contacted many vendors. The bigger brand plumbing companies quoted outrageous prices after giving me a 4-hour window of when they might arrive. Other local companies never got back to me. Jon immediately returned my call. We made an appointment on when he would come to my house (actual time not a 4-hour window). Jon is personable and professional; he really knows plumbing. He was able to explain to me everything he would do (and why) and quoted me a great price. His work and attention to detail is top notch. I will definitely be using GTB Plumbing again.

Jon is far and away the best master plumber around. Last summer, I organized the replacement of water service lines for my community of 10 townhouses. I received quotes from 6 plumbers, and I ultimately made the decision based on my meeting with Jon. He is extremely knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure. On the job, hes always upfront and happy to answer any questions (of which I have many). I called Jon again this week about smaller plumbing issues around the house, and, as usual, he actually made the experience enjoyable (hard to believe when its a plumbing problem).

We recently used GTB for the first time to address leaking toilet. Another plumbing company had told us all 3 toilets in our home we leaking and needed to be replaced at around $700 each. At the recommendation of a friend, we called Jon for a second opinion. He came the next day and advised that the initial problem toilet did need to be replaced and only the supply line on the others should be replaced. He gave us advice on toilets and let us know wed found a price for one that was better than he could get, so when all was said and done we saved hundreds of dollars. Jon was very easy to work with, timely, and did a great job. We highly recommend him and will definitely use him next time we need a plumber!

Jon did an awesome job installing plumbing for a washer we were relocating upstairs. He was efficient, courteous and cleaned up when he was complete. His rates were very reasonable. I will definitely be calling GTB Plumbing when I need plumbing work in the future. Highly recommended!

Jon was fantastic! We had what we thought would be an impossibly expensive list of plumbing fixes after an inspection to sell our home. Not only was it very affordable, but Jon fixed only the items that were problematic and helped us understand what didn’t need fixing. The plumbing works perfectly now! Jon is also a super nice guy and made us feel so much less scared and stressed. Amazing! Don’t go to any other plumber!

I was referred to GTB Plumbing through a neighborhood Facebook page. Jon returned my call right away and was on-time to both appointments I had with him. He fixed one of my problems and didnt charge me since it was a simple fix. The other issue required him to find and purchase a part. When he came back to install that part, he only charged me half of what he had estimated since the repair was not as involved as he had originally thought. I appreciate Jons honesty and professionalism and will call him again when I have plumbing needs.

I highly recommend GTB Plumbing. When our washing machine drain line backed up, Jon responded quickly to my text, coming out the next day to give us an estimate and then completing the job in a timely manner. He was professional and courteous, and his prices were competitive--almost half of what I was quoted by another local company. GTB Plumbing is reasonably-priced and trustworthy, and I really appreciated the excellent service.

This was our first experience using Jon, but it wont be our last. He came out within 2 hours of my call, even earlier than he expected, to check out a leak in our yard from the water main. Hes very honest -- he could have told me he needed to replace the whole water main and I would have said OK, but he said our leak only needed a section fixed. He fully explained the problem and showed me what had happened, fixed the section quickly, cleaned up, and then knocked $50 off our already affordable bill because he said we had been digging already and doing some of his work for him! He even gave me a tip about how to get the county to give us some money back from our water overage by showing them the repair bill. Great experience all around -- hes a keeper!

We had a major blockage with our kitchen sink over the holidays. I called John and heard on his voicemail that he was on vacation until 1/5 so I decided to hang up. Less than an hour later he called me back and asked if he had missed my call and if there was something he could help with! Who does that in this day and age? We made an appointment and John came as expected. After a quick assessment, he diagnosed the issue and resolved it. He was so easy to work with and explained what he was doing with the appropriate level of detail as he went. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber.

After another plumbing company failed to show I searched Medlock neighborhood files. I found Jon. Called him. Explained what we needed. We set a day for Jon to come. He came. Carefully worked his way thru our 65 year old pipes. Replacing what was needed. Did good fast work. Cleaned up. Reasonable price. We discussed that we will be calling him only in the future with our plumbing issues. And that I would highly recommend him. Finally a good honest plumber we can depend on.
