We have used Jim (Northern Lights Electric) twice in the past. Once when we had a GFI outlet continually popping and affecting several other outlets in the house. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. We also used him to connect a new outdoor lamppost I had installed. We discussed the various connection options available, he suggested one, and we went with that...good choice. When Jim makes an appointment, he is prompt in keeping them, professional and efficient in his work, and reasonable in his prices. I have another small job coming up and hope he is available so we can use him again. Glad we found you Jim!

Jim is the owner of this 1-man operation. Bottom line, he is the best around, hands down! I have been calling him for the last 10 years to do electrical work around my home. The first time was when I bought a home and wanted some rewiring and extra wiring done. I got three estimates for the job and his was less than 65% of the other two!! He came into my place, was very friendly and a total professional. He explains everything he is doing, if you ask about it. The job was done right and he took the exact amount that he estimated. Every time since, has been very much the same. The last time I called him was a about a month ago for another new home. We needed some tricky wiring fed through the walls for a few rooms lacking overhead lights. He explained how to get it done without ripping extra holes in the walls. Job done quickly and cleanly and he took the amount he estimated up front.

He came and fixed the GFI problem at our garage zone. He said No Charge. He saved me from a big trouble today on a Saturday! Since garage area had no power, I was not going to be able to use the garage door opener, which alone was a huge problem to me. I have never seen a service person like him. (These days they charge big just for visiting. Plumbing for instance) Very kind and honest. Strongly recommend him with two thumbs up!

We recently used Jim to do some electrical work associated with the remodel of our kitchen. He arrived on time, gave us an estimate for the work we wanted done and accomplished the tasks quickly on the schedule we agreed on. We needed light switches moved, overhead lights moved and electrical boxes added and moved for the dishwasher, disposal, microwave and stove. He explained the option and then did a professional job of accomplishing all tasks agreed upon. The kitchen turned out great thanks in part to Jims knowledge and experience. His bill for services was exactly the estimate and he even comped us a couple of 3-way switch rewirings that I had previously messed us. You cant go wrong by calling him.

I am so pleased with our experience with Jim at Northern Lights Electric. I called him Friday afternoon and he came out within 20 minutes to evaluate the installation of our new bathroom vent/heater/light. He came out the next day for installation. We will definitely recommend him to our friends and neighbors! Thanks Jim!!
