    SInger and Vaughn did a great job. We had an internet connection problem and they spent hours they were not expecting making sure our whole house generator was connected properly.     Singervaughn did an excellent job installing our new Kohler 20RCA natural gas generator. We were very impressed with their team working together to get the installation completed.     Update as of Sep: We never actually received the reimbursement for cleaning up the drywall work.Update: They brought someone out to do a cleaning after having the the ceiling fixed. Since we had already cleaned up the original mess, they had someone come out after the ceiling was sanded. This was extremely nice and completely made up for any mess that was left the first time around. And, I also expect that theyre going to reimburse us for the small expensive having the lights cleaned up. Therefore, Im adjusting this rating accordingly from a satisfactory to an exceeded expectations.We hired Singer Vaughn electric to install lights in our kitchen and office. We were pleased with the communication, prompt service, scheduling accommodations and general customer service demeanor. My family even noted how friendly they were. However, they dont quite make the five-star rating due to some of the drywall issues. The kitchen was dusty, which is to be expected when youre cutting into drywall, however compared to previous contracted work with Good Guy Home Improvements, they did not clean up as well. It looks like cutting into the ceiling drywall was a difficult job. We will have to have someone repair the drywall around the new lights in addition to repairing the expected spots. Four of the eight lights installed in the kitchen will need some touch-ups. In addition they also cause some new chips in our glass covering for our kitchen island.

    We are updating and doing tons of renovations in our 50’s home most things original including every 2 prong outlet, lol.Singer Vaughn was awesome, definitely gave us a much needed upgrade throughout our home.     The early morning of 3/13/24 we woke up to find half our home without electricity. The breakers were fine I could not find a reason for the outage. About 9am I called SVE based on many positive reviews we saw. I spoke to Mackenzie and Even though we were new customers she said someone would be here by 10a.On time Everett and Aaron arrived. After explaining issues we had been have with a closet light, installed last year by another electric service, he found the ground wires were improperly secured and it was affecting our service. As soon as he redid the ground wire everything worked.Everette also took time to look at our breaker box that was installed in the 60’s and other places we have had electrical issues. He made recommendations and quotes for that work.This is without exception the best customer service we have experienced in a long time. We will definitely be using SVE for other work at our home. The pricing is very reasonable and the SVE staff all left very positive impressions with us. We highly recommend you contact them for your service needs.

    It’s hard to find a reliable contractor sometimes. When I bought my house an electrician wired a new panel and installed new wiring to several outlets. I had another local company come to fix the issue and they spent hours at my house diagnosing the problem and then caused my garbage disposal to not work. They decided 5:00 was quitting time and wouldn’t stay to finish the job. They said they’d have dispatch call me to schedule the garbage disposal. 3 days later they wanted to charge me another fee just to come out to diagnose on top of the repair when they’re the ones who caused the issue in the first place. A friend recommended Singer Vaughn Electric. He came out and explained why the disposal had shorted and even came out the same day I called. Pricing was fair and they got it done the first time. Highly recommend! If you’re looking for a professional that knows what they’re doing, look no further.

    Terry and Drew were on time, were courteous, helpful with ideas, got the job done perfectly and were helpful figuring out all our needs. And were able to troubleshoot my ring doorbell buzzing that the other 2 quotes had no idea. Updated our surge protection for whole house also. Installed 4 fans, did a quick 3 way for garage light .     Singer Vaughn Electric was a wonderful company to work with. I used them several years ago to completely wire my business.     I had some personal safety concerns arise this past week. Singer Vaughn Electric, and particularly Lester Vaughn, took care of me. He came out to my house less than 24 hours after my call for an estimate and installed cameras/floodlights at my home less than 24 hours after I gave the approval.I had the best nights sleep that Ive had in a week. The camera system is fantastic, giving me access via my phone, iPad and any desk top. The install was quick and efficient. I can also share access with my family members, near and far.Thank you for the peace of mind.

    A previous owner of our new house had evidently Frankenstein’d the electrical wiring. We called Lester and he got us right! Even through all of the headaches of the confusing wiring and outlets, and the tiny attic he had to work in, he solved the puzzle and fixed everything.     Cant say enough for Singer Vaughn services. Tree went down in our backyard and took out a fence and power lines on a cold, winter day. Lester came over right away on his day off and arrived early enough so he could work with AES to restore power. He was easy to communicate with and was very professional.     Our electrical box overheated and melted panel....we were very lucky we were home and discovered problem. Called asking what to do since it was evening..Chris Singer over the phone asked us questions assuring us it was safe and would send techs out next day.     I can’t say enough good things about SVE. I had a laundry list of electrical items to be completed. They made suggestions on fixtures and design ideas which was really helpful. They also uncovered a safety issue that we were unaware of. In addition to that, the technicians were so friendly and nice to us but also really nice and respectful to each other. What a great cohesive team. I have now added more items to my wish list and will have them back again. Also, the Safety Savings plan is totally worth it!

    Needed an outdoor outlet added to our home. After researching multiple companies, we decided with Singer, and we were not disappointed. The company had someone out the very next day for a quote, and then completed the service that same day.     Lester Vaughn and his assistant Bryan came out on time to install two wall sconces, one overhead light fixture and three new fire detectors. The installs required time consuming “surgical” wiring and box modifications. The work was professionally done and all messes fully cleaned up. Courteous and professional, the guys got it all done, as if it was the original build. Not cheap, but quality work. Highly recommended.

    Power was out in part of my basement. I had previously called a different electrician from a larger company and he felt after 30 minutes that it was a wire issue and would cost several hundred to fix. I didnt have money for it at the time so I waited and decided to get a second opinion later. Lester comes over from Singer and within 1 minute of reviewing for an estimate, he instead fixes the problem like magic. An intense feeling of stupidity came over me because I thought I had tried everything already. He did not charge me and opted for a high five instead. Definitely going to call them first next time.

    I had to do research on electricians in the Dayton area. I now live out of state and needed someone to do the wiring and installation of a Google/Nest camera/floodlight system on my mothers home. Chris Singer took the time to come to my mothers home (for an estimate) and FaceTime with me in Texas, to understand the needs of the camera/floodlight system, the locations we wanted them mounted, and technology connections. He was very caring and genuine, which I greatly appreciated. Chris really listened, answered my questions, and did so with me in another state, which I know that is not the norm.I selected them to come and do the work. Chris came back out with two technicians - again working with me via FaceTime - to ensure that everyone was on the same page for the work to be done and the preferred locations and angles of the cameras. Once his technicians installed the cameras/floodlights, Chris came back for the final stages to connect it to the app and Google/Nest Hub. He helped with assisting my mother, getting her hub set up, showing her how to use it, getting the app installed and working on her phone, and worked w/me again via FaceTime, to ensure that I also would be able to see the live camera images on the Google Home app.This company and team not only provided quality work, but they also provided care and compassion for my family.

    Installation of a floor outlet in living room.Electrian and I discussed what I wanted to have installed. He was very professional and set to work when he arrived. He also did a whole house electrical check up to make sure everything was as it should be.What I thought might need to be replaced turned out to be true. The outside electrical covers were allowing moisture to get into the box. I had that replaced as well as the installation of a floor outlet that had been scheduled.I find that I don’t have to wait weeks to get a job done and appreciate how the office staff works with the customer.

    I highly recommended SVE! This company not only does great work, but their level of professionalism is amazing. They installed a whole house generator( AMAZING!) and completely redid the electric in our house. All the work was done in 2016 and we have not had any issues AT ALL! It took estimates from 5 companies before we found Singer Vaughn, who immediately got us scheduled weeks ahead of other highly rated companies in the area. They were able to update our service panel, install a grounding system, and several dedicated circuits to make our older home compliant with modern electrical standards.
