Short review of your history of the business that was built by a rock solid family. I grew up with Mike , Bruce, and Jeff, There Dad set a high standard for them to follow. The last time they did work for us was on a historic house in Huber Heights on Taylorsville Road. We moved away a long time ago, and have restored several homes. Never able to find the service we received from them. Great to see business still exists.

When all my ceiling lights flickered out in my kitchen for no.apperant reason, Bonham Electric scheduled a service date quickly. Their expert electricians found the hard-to-find problem in a junction box covered by cabinets installed in a past renovation. They fixed the problem in less than five hours for a more-than-fair price. My wife and I cant say enough good things about our experience, truely outstanding! Ill definitely call them for all my electrical needs.

I called a couple of other companies for my electrical needs but they were no shows, with no call back. I called Bonham and right away was able to get an estimate and an appointment. My technician was Rex. He is the perfect example of excellent customer service! He was very professional, friendly, and honest. He took time and made sure he explained things before he left. I am very impressed! I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again!

I highly recommend. Very professional and I thought a very fair price. The installer checked the wiring in 5 hard wired smoke detectors. He determined that a loose connection was the problem with the detectors randomly sounding off. He then reinstalled the smoke detectors I had removed because of the noise. I so appreciate it when someone takes the time to answer my questions. He did. I always wondered why there were 5 detectors on one side of my house. The installer explained it was code and they were to be installed in corridors outside of bedrooms and in the bedrooms. Thank you Bonham Electric.

This place is top notch, from the quote, to the options available, to the install and walk through. DO NOT HESITATE to have them install a generator for you. The Generator Dept was awesome, beginning with Chrissie(sp), and ending with the installation completion and explanation given by Rex. Again I say TOP NOTCH! Fair, and all around just a pleasure to do business with. Having a whole home backup generator is not a necessity in life, but having the peace of mind in the event of an outage, is worth the investment. And knowing that Bonham is just a phone call away is icing on the CAKE. A++++++

We needed a ceiling fan installed in our bedroom. They worked with my schedule to schedule a time for the installation. I had just had surgery so was unable to get around well. When they came, they got right to work and took into consideration my kitten (who wants to get into everything). They kept doors closed (to the attic) so he would be safe and kept me informed of everything they were doing/where they were going in my house. They quick and efficient and the cost was very reasonable. Will definitely be using Bonham for all our electrical needs!

Our electric started going out often and sporadically and in different areas of our house. Then suddenly all of our electric totally went out. When I called Bonham electric I talked to Shawn and he was so accommodating and so patient then it turned out that I couldn’t let it continue to go to the next day so I called and I talked to Emily and she was great and they sent Andrew and he fixed the problem. I really appreciate the excellent service that I got from everyone at Bonham Electric at a very difficult time (for me)

I have hired Bonham for a few projects and they did a great job. My experience was perfect. Lynn was very friendly getting my appointment set up. Paul was skilled, professional and considerate of keeping the area clean in my home while doing the work. I was so impressed, I referred Bonham to my son who just had a fuse box updated to breakers, the meter moved outside, a fan installed, a light fixed and a couple new outlets added. It was a large, all day job and the Bonham crew did not miss a beat. My son and his future Bride now have a safer updated home thanks to the Pros! I will always hire Bonham!

Bonham Electric (the A-team of Josh and Zach) worked on wiring the addition on my house. They did an absolutely superb job. They were professional and competent. They were on time. They were courteous and accommodating to my needs. The price was most competitive and fair. Overall, I am very satisfied with their work. As an aside, I have had four other trades working on the project. Since I am knowledgeable in all phases of the construction, I noticed that all the trades tried to cut corners in delivering quality work or leaving work undone. As a result, I had to fix a lot of details following their work. I am happy to say that Bonham electric delivered a quality product from the beginning to the end. I recommend them highly.

This was the second time I had Bonham Electric to my home. They went out of their way to get me an appointment as soon as possible, and everyone involved was friendly and courteous. The electricians that came out showed and explained to me what the problem was, and although they couldnt fix it on the spot (due to not having the parts on the truck) they all bent over backwards to get back to me as soon as they possibly could to get it fixed. They offered extremely good value for money, for pristine, guaranteed work. I cannot say enough good things about them. I have full confidence in their work.

Would highly recommend Bonham Electric!We had a whole home generator installed by Bonham Electric and would highly recommend them for any electric needs. The generator hasn’t been used as we have not lost power to our home since the installation, but we are beyond happy with the job that Bonham electric did.

We recently had Bonham Electric out to do some work for us on a house we recently purchased. We had them out for an estimate and between the estimate and the day of the work the plan evolved a little bit, but Josh sat down with us and worked out a new plan on the spot and they did a fabulous job. They replaced a recalled Federal Pacific panel for us which also had to be relocated due to todays code, replaced the worn-out line from the pole to the house, put in some lines for a kitchen renovation, and new plugs inside and out... all in about a day and a half. This is the second time I use them for electric work and both times they did an outstanding job.

Bottom line: Bonham Electric employees Sean and Andrew provided outstanding service for my Beavercreek home . I really needed help to make sure the house was safe on a recent Friday evening when my wife observed an electric arc across our breaker box moments after we flipped a switch back on after changing a light fixture. I looked in the Christian Blue Pages for an electrician and found Jeff Bonham. I left a message requesting help and within minutes Jeff called, walked me through ensuring the box was in a safe state, and arranged Andrew to come inspect and repair the box on Monday afternoon. He was superbly competent & conscientious in his technical skills. His friendly, confident manner gave me confidence in the work performed. The cost for the excellent service I received was fair and reasonable. I am grateful that Bonham Electric was available to help me in a crucial after-hours moment and resolve our breaker box issue in such a very timely & cost conscious way. Thank you Sean & Andrew!!

AES tech tried to change my elec meter to smart meter and support strips broke making box a hazard. Was having difficulty getting electricians interested in repairing or replacing box. At suggestion of Lyons Electric Supply, I stopped by Bonhams office And told about my situation. The ladies in office were familiar with scenario and scheduled estimator. He came on time and said he would look for older parts in their yard. Called back in a couple days and had found parts (very old box and no direct replacement available}. A day later young man came and repaired box and extended main power lines so no strain on connection supports at a very reasonable price. I am extremely impressed with all the people I dealt with at Bonham. They go about their work the way I remember Americans doing for so many years in the past which is very difficult to find today. GO BONHAM.

About a year ago, we were having issues with frequent flickering of our lights. It had happened occasionally in the past, when the AC or furnace would kick on, no big deal. It had started happening much more frequently throughout the day and thought we should have an electrician take a look to make sure there were nothing dangerous causing this.I initially called another local company describing the issue, and they told me they couldnt get anyone out to check it our FOR OVER A MONTH! Called Bonham Electric - they said they couldnt guarantee they could be out same day, but he was going to call his guys already out in the field and check on their status. He let me know that he would call back by 1:00pm to let me know if theyd be able to come back. Heard back from them around noon to let me know they could be at my house by 3:00pm that day. Two technicians came out - wish I could remember their names - and did a very thorough job looking for the issue. They tested inside the house and out at the box where the electric lines enter my house. They tested with one appliance running, multiple running, etc, and finally determined the issue was that I wasnt actually getting enough electricity supplied to my house. I dont know all the technical terms, but there is a minimum current that should be coming in that wasnt, and Bonham Electric said they would call DP&L to explain the issue to them to get someone out to fix it. Jeff Bonham said to give DP&L about 2 weeks, and if I didnt seem an improvement, to give him a call back. At some point, DP&L must have come out and fixed the issue.As a sidenote, the guys who came to diagnose my issue noticed that with me having an older house, I didnt have some sort of electrical ground (for the water heater I think) and offered to install it. I agreed, and they did that quickly and for a fair price. Will definitely use this company in the future if I have any further electrical needs.

Jeff Bonham came to our home in Clark County, helped us with the selection, the size to best meet our needs and set up the date for installation. My husband was at home for the installation and said he was impressed by the Bonham team’s work ethic, their polite, professional attitude (not loafing on cell phones!) I bought a whole-house generator from Bonham a number of years ago and never regretted it. They provided excellent service after the sale, and I appreciated the reminders when it was time for its annual servicing. I reccently sold my house and the generator is now somebody elses to enjoy on those days when the power goes out in Huber Heights.

I just wanted to write a quick review for these guys, which is something I rarely do....and most of the time you dont hear from people that are extremely happy with a product or service as its usually the other way around....the Unhappy ones.Im really happy that there are still service oriented tradesmen out there still that are on time, courteous, professional, and actually know what theyre doing!What a nice surprise.So in short, we had a job bid from Bonham and the crew and they came in, did the job as expected, and it was very fairly priced.Thanks a lot!

Very impressed with professionalism and skill. The job we had asked for turned out to be much more complex than anticipated, requiring three visits and 16 hours of work, but they stuck to the original cost estimate. We would definitely call Bonham again in future.
