The work ethic of this company, from the initial phone call to the completion of the work was OUTSTANDING. Brett took my call and guided me in order to understand the problem with my sump pump. Without having to come out and look at it he was able to give me an estimate. Then Jason came out and within an hour installed a new sump pump in the crawl space. Easy peasy! And he cleaned up. They didn’t try to talk me into spending any more than what was required to keep the crawlspace dry. Other companies tried to sell all kinds of things our house doesn’t need right now. Thank you Brett and Jason. No one else in Columbus seems to be in their league because they truly are THE BEST! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

He was very friendly and provided a lot of education and support during the meeting. The quote was very thorough and helpful. While I ultimately went with an alternative plumbing service based on the needs and timeline of my project I would highly recommend Fritz Baumann and Sons plumbing.

We had a disaster in our plumbing. Baumann & sons came right out & rescued us. We hired a bathroom company & they installed the plumbing, shower walls, shower base & doors all wrong and against code !! The entire bathroom will need ripped out its so bad. They itemized the problems & our contractor actually gave us our money back to hire a new company because of their documentation. We did not have to hire an attorney. While they were there they fixed what they could so we could use the bathroom & recaulked our kitchen. Caluking is an art & Shawn did a beautiful job.The kitchen looks like new. They also have a list of reputable companies who do work if they dont. Like Phillips who did out wet basement. I can not tell you how kind & honest this company is ! The amount of money they saved us will cover the cost of the new rip out & install of a new bathroom and they counseled me through a horrible experience making the process easy to document & get our huge amout of money refunded in 24 hours which is unheard of. Thanks Steve !!!

Technician called ahead and showed up as promised to replace an outside hose bib that had a slow drip. Working access to the hose bib both inside and outside was a bear but Tim handled it with ease. Very friendly, polite, and efficient! Would highly recommend.

I had a slow leak of my main water line that was made out of galvanized pipe, which resulted in a much more complicated project than your average plumbing repair. Blair was absolutely amazing and was able to explain the process to someone not super familiar in plumbing work, gave me various options to choose from, and I felt very confident proceeding with his recommendation. Sean, who was the Plumber who came out and performed the work was very experienced and friendly did an awesome job. I got multiple quotes from various companies and ultimately was very happy with choosing Fritz Baumann & Sons and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable. I spoke with Brett and Blair determining what hot water tanks & setup would be the best replacements for our house as one of the 2 original tanks kicked the bucket. I was very pleasantly surprised when Brett and Blair showed up on the day of install and handled the install themselves. It was great the gents that helped us with our new setup were also the ones doing the install. They quickly installed the 2 new tanks and corrected an error the previous homeowner made when adding the backup tank. They were in and out in under 3 hours and other than the 2 new tanks you couldnt tell anyone was even there. I would not hesitate to contact them in the future for any of my plumbing needs. Hopefully I dont need a plumber anytime soon but its good knowing one I can count on if needed. Highly recommended.

After satisfactorily working with Fritz Baumann & Sons to repair some wobbly toilets, I requested an estimate for a new hot water heater. The price was fair for the unit and the labor, and I scheduled them to come out and do the install the following week. Two days later the existing hot water heater died ahead of schedule and Fritz Baumann was able to speed up their timeline and get the new unit in the very same day--unfortunately, the building elevator was out of service and the FB team spent the next two days checking in with me on the phone to know if it had been fixe, and the moment it was, they came over and did the job. I was impressed by their responsiveness and their willingness to go the extra mile. Highly recommend this crew.

I recently worked with Fritz Baumann & Sons to have my hot water tank and my main water line replaced. I cant recommend their company enough! From when Steve came out to provide an estimate for both projects to completion, they were great. During the estimate, Steve walked through everything that would be done and the process. He answered any questions I had and I felt comfortable all the work they would be doing. They also had fair prices, and were more competitive than with another company I had out.The hot water tank replacement went seamlessly. The workers showed up on time and called before they were heading out. They were friendly. The water line replacement was more challenging, but their workers handled it well and kept me updated throughout the process. Long story short, the citys water line had some damage, so the plumbers completed their work, but were unable to hook up my line to the citys. Then it was left up to the city to repair their line. Steve called the city on my behalf and pressured them to fix their line as I had no water. He provided me with contact information for the city, as well. The city came out quickly to repair their line. I have an old house and the water line was original to the house. After upgrading the line, the water pressure I have is AMAZING. Pleased with all their work!

Overall experience was great, they were able to quickly replace an older water heater one day after we contacted them about the issue. Installers were professional and were forthcoming with information as additional charges where encountered given it was an replacement of an existing unit that required some rework of the gas and water piping. Only negative was the prices charged for some the parts not initially quoted as they seemed high compared to what they would cost at retail. Would definitely use them again for other projects.

We had two toilets installed, very professional, good value and will definitely would use them again for service.I wanted to give an update a year later. One of our toilet seats had 2 cracks in it, I called the company, sent an email with pictures of the seat, the owner called to confirm receiving the email and pictures. The owner placed an order for the toilet seat and the toilet seat came in earlier than expected, the company came out replaced the seat and we are back in business. This company is still holding its standard of being professional and backing up their warranty of their products, we will still use them in the future.

Steve Baumann came to my house to give me an estimate for rewiring my gas fireplace. I wanted my fireplace to turn on and off using a remote control because I was uncomfortable using the key and starting the pilot. Steve took the time to teach me how to start my fireplace. In fact, he gave me step by step instructions and stayed until I felt comfortable that I could do it on my own. Im so thankful to Steve and Im so thankful to God for putting Steve in my path. Baumann and Sons came out to a house we are rehabbing, and replaced an old water heater, repaired a wobbly shower valve connection, pulled and replaced toilets, and removed a shower (just to name a few things!). I would highly recommend them for everything from the littlest to the biggest plumbing work!

We had them replace the old lead drain pipes from the upstairs bathroom. Because this is an older home built in the early 1920’s, the bathroom floor is concrete and tile. We wanted the work completed without damaging the floor. Fritz Baumann Plumbing was the one company able to ensure they could complete the job as we wanted. They also installed a new comfort height toilet and wall grab bars. The job was completed in a timely manner.

My 7 year old water heater stopped heating and it started gushing water! I called Fritz Baumann & Sons and Brett patiently walked me through step by step of what I needed to do to stop it. He then asked for pictures of my current set up to see what he needed to help remedy the problem. I received a call a short while later saying he found all he needed and would be out that afternoon to replace my water heater and update my existing associated plumbing to new code. They were timely, neat, and very communicative. Its almost unheard of to get such quick service these days. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to anyone. It was also nice to learn that Fritz Baumann & Sons is family run and a 4th generation company.

I had contacted several plumbing companies to replace my defective gas hot water heater. I couldnt get any company to properly evaluate my issue and it would take two weeks to dispatch a plumber. Finally I contacted Fritz Baumann and spoke with Steve who took the time to evaluate my issue and even checked my current tanks warranty. Steve proposed a cost effective solution and dispatched a crew within 24 hours. Brett and Jake were the two plumbers that arrived on time and professionally explained the removal and replacement process. I was incredibly pleased with their knowledge and the timely manner in which they installed my new tank. The day after the installation I received a call from Fritz, Steve who wanted to make sure that I was 100% ok with the service. Because of Fritz Baumann I have a renewed belief in customer service professionals. Try Fritz Baumann for your plumbing needs you wont regret it!

One of the best customer service experiences to date, supper kind and helpful. You can tell they actually care about the work and quality job they perform. Steve Baumann did an incredible job explaining everything from pricing to taking the time to explain things in a simpler context for me to understand. A very well run, well orchestrated business that definitely has a firm grip on their entire field. I definitely recommend this company to anyone and everyone, you won’t be disappointed!

If you want to do whats best for your property and not just take the cheapest price you hear, then this is the company you want. They replaced and upgraded our water service line. They were thoughtful and deliberate about the repair, and took the time to explain what is best, why, and how it will be done.We had our water service line break just 2 years after having it repaired. I interviewed (got estimates from) 5 companies for this job. These guys werent the cheapest, but considering the improvements they gave us, I think they were the absolute best deal! These guys where the only ones who actually measured the depth of my water line and it was too shallow (above the frost line). Thats probably the cause of our line breaking twice. I was worried about digging up the yard since we are planning to sell this year, so they used a directional bore and left the yard intact. They excavated the hole at the street with a hydrovac and back filled with fresh soil, perfect for seeding. They scoped the sewer line and found that the bore would be in danger of hitting it, so they moved the service line over to run parallel to the sewer line and to square off with the street connection. This had 2 advantages: using only a single roll of copper (our original line was over 100ft from the street connection), and it removed the risk of hitting the sewer line. They were quick, organized, communicative, and didnt leave a mess anywhere.In the end we upgraded to a single copper line with no couplers in the ground, installed at the correct depth, squared off to the street, and our yard is in great shape, all at the same price some companies wanted to dig up our whole yard and put in a longer line at too shallow a depth. And they wore masks (covid); not everyone will do that. And its a family owned company. I couldnt ask for anything more!They do everything from leaky faucets to new construction. I highly recommend this company.

Another company quoted us $10,000 and a weeks worth of work. Fitz Baumann came out the same day and fixed our problem within an hour and was only $305! They were responsive, professional and did amazing work on an old house.
