Job#49410I had an urgent and unexpected issue pop up and needed my down spout drain line replaced as it was completely collapsed. Cody and Dillon were amazing in replacing the line with little damage to the grass. Dillon came out to scope my line to determine actually how bad the damage and repair that was needed. He did great explaining what he was seeing and providing his recommendation on what needed to be fixed. Cody came out on the following Tuesday to get the work done. He was very helpful in explaining what he would do gave me updates on progress. Was very happy to see that Dillon came back out also to help with the job. As a homeowner, quality work and affordability is very important. I have tried working with other plumbing companies over the last couple of years and by far Drain Master was affordable, and trustworthy. I highly recommend them. They are my go to for any new plumbing issues I have. (And thanks to my fence contractor for the amazing recommendation ;-)

Job #50078I had an excellent experience with Cody from Drain Master! My bathroom sink and tub were both not draining properly, and on top of that, the sink was leaking. Two technicians arrived on Sunday morning to address a serious drain stoppage. They were extremely polite and throughly diagnosed the issue. We expected our lawn to be destroyed as others in neighborhood had been. Two plumbers from other companies came to my house 3 different times. Each time they failed to correctly diagnosis my sewer line back up problem. They only tried to sell me an overpriced $1500 hydro-jetting service. In 10 minutes, Jon from DrainMasters, correctly diagnosed my problem. My problem was caused by a blockage in the Columbus city sewers. Tina from DrainMasters immediately contacted the city and my sewer line problem was corrected in 30 minutes . Too bad that it was only after the first plumbers failure to see the problem, it caused thousands of dollars of damage to my basement. I wish I would have called DrainMasters first.

Drainmaster, Inc. did a camera scope of our sanitary sewer drain. The service representative did a good job explaining what he saw while the camera went through the 100 feet of drain line. For some reason they were unable to send us the video of this service, and rescheduled the scope which I thought was highly professional and the right thing to do. The second representative did an equally excellent job explaining what he saw and noting what options to resolve pending issues, and this time we received the video! Yay! I would recommend this company, and well be keeping them on our list of plumbers should we need a them again.

Charlie, went above and beyond. We spoke to the warranty company who told us we could replace the water valve for free or get a new water heater installed for $500.00. We were still in the hospital after delivering our daughter so we chose the free option because of the already astronomical cost for having a child. Charlie took the time to call us and to explain why it was a much better choice to replace the water heater for $500.00 instead. Our current water heater was about 9 years old and had already outlived its estimated life expectancy. If we got the valve replaced and anything else went wrong with it there would be no warranty coverage left for this calendar year to repair it. The new water heater, was a significantly better product, came with a 6 year warranty, and replacement parts are readily available. Parts for our old water heater would have taken more than a week to get. He answered ALL of our questions and we confidently and happily chose the new water heater. Our new water heater was installed 2 days later. The technician was friendly, professional, and efficient. He did an excellent job. We are very happy. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend Drain Master.

When my water heater died, I called the plumbing company Ive been using for 25 years at 8am on Friday morning. They were not going to be able to come out until at least the following Thursday! At the recommendation of a friend, I called DrainMaster. The gentleman I spoke to was very courteous and professional, and he made a quick call then returned to let me know they could get me in that day. The guys arrived early that afternoon, and I think they were in and out in an hour! Again, they were very courteous and professional, went right to work, and cleaned everything up perfectly. Not a thing was left behind! In addition, they found another leak in the same area and took care of it without charging me an extra dime over what I was quoted. The cost seemed very reasonable and included not only the warranty on the tank, but also a one-year warranty on their labor. Im so pleased with everything about this experience! DrainMaster has earned a loyal new customer!!

The price was pretty high for a 20 minute job in my opinion. But the value may be good if I dont have to have the line cleared for another 5 years or so. There were a lot of tree root mats and I was surprised at the amount of shingle granules flushed out. To date, we havent had enough rain to evaluate the work and Ill report back if theres a problem.

After calling my go-to companies that were unavailable for days (and long conversations about the call center representative trying to understand the problem), I called DrainMaster and was greeted with an understanding of plumbing issues by the person who picked up the phone. They were fully booked, but understood the severity of the problem and were able to adjust some schedules to get Shane to the site immediately. Shane was professional and worked with us to understand the issue (shared condo pipe, which adds difficulty) and was able to assess and call in the right people and services from his team. The owner (Charlie) even got involved to make sure everything was going smoothly and I know that they had to change some people and their schedules around to solve our problem! (THANK YOU!) When I received the invoice, I was not shocked by any of the costs, as they were reasonable and explained to me proficiently. (The next day, I had a scheduled appointment at my house and one of the other major companies cost me the same amount for an appointment where they left without fixing anything.) The service is really good.The price not through the insurance company is a bit expensive, but compared to The Eco Plumbers, the hydro jet drain cleaning fee was 1/4 cheaper than Eco Plumbers.I hired on May 17th for main sewer Drain cleaning from The Eco Plumbers, the problem was not solved and only money was wasted.On May 18th DrainMaster came and solved the problem. I hired them because of a recommendation. Somebody in my household put pasta and rice down the drain at the same time (obviously a massive no-no - hindsight 20/20) and it clogged our kitchen sink.I called, and the person I spoke to on the phone gave me a bunch of things to do before setting an appointment so that I could try and avoid having to pay for a plumber, and I super appreciated that. I tried everything she suggested, and it didn’t work, hence why I’m reviewing.The plumbers came the next day, and two people showed up at the exact time that they said they would. I explained the problem, and they quickly got to work.I’m a strong believer in never giving a bad review, because I hired them to unclog the sink, and they did just that. However, they didn’t have any covers on their boots, so there was a lot of dirt tracked through the front door to the kitchen. They also stacked the few dishes I had set in the sink on top of candles and glassware that I had on the counter. Again, not a massive deal, but it was a little frustrating to have to clean out dirty dishwater and residue from my candles.They shoved all of the rugs out of the way in the kitchen to avoid them from getting wet, which I appreciated, but then just used every towel available in the kitchen to mop up the water mess and then left. them there for me to clean up after they left. I don’t care because they were old towels and I’m not picky on cheap candles, but some other people might be a little more “Karen” about this.They also absolutely smelled of cigarette smoke and the smell lingered for hours. Again, it went away, so we didn’t care that much, but someone else might complain.Overall, they fixed my screw up. They fixed the sink fast and it cost $149. I’d hire them again the next time I do something dumb enough to need a plumber once more.

The price was reasonable, they came when they said they would come and they cleaned up afterwards. They will be my plumbers from now on. I can not recommend them enough!

I have used Charlie at Drainmaster for the past 15 years when I need drain help with both residential and commercial properties.Drainmaster routinely addresses the everyday problems, but they also have come to the rescue for larger and more complicated issues on many occasions(water line installations, gas leak repairs and sewer replacement). Managing buildings that are sometimes over a hundred years old, I have come across some tricky problems, but Charlie always figures it out.I am writing this review after a particularly difficult issue was addressed after hours almost immediately after my call.I would highly recommend Drainmaster for quality, timely work at reasonable prices.

DrainMaster in one word. Phenomenal! We had a clogged sewer line that flooded a basement in our rental property. We had 2 different plumbing companies come and check the issue. Both recommend excavation in order to clear or replace the line. Their estimates were extremely high ($6,000 - $16,000). We couldnt afford those prices.So, I went online to look for different methods to fix this issue with mininal cost. One of the first companies to show up in the search results was DrainMaster. I decided to give them a call. Spoke with Charles and explained my situation. He immediately provide excellent advice. He was straight forward, and professional. He gave us a date and price which was very reasonable.They arrive at the property, assessed the problem and began work immediately. At one piont it seem like they hit a wall and couldnt push through the clog. Charles got on the phone called for the drill snake and got back to working the problem. After about 10 mins, breakthrough!! The clogged sewer line was cleared. The crew stayed to make sure the water was flowing freely. Needless to say, we were very happy with their persistence and professional work.If you ever need a sewer line or any plumbing work done and done at a reasonable price. Please go with DrainMaster. As a property manager, with our office combined handling 1,000 units, you can image our constant need for drain snaking, leaking pipes... you name it! I was using another company before and it was always a struggle with communication, their outdated billing system, never got any photos of work completed and the list goes on. DrainMaster is HIGHLY customer service oriented and ALWAYS sends pictures with their invoices. Theyre also willing to think outside the box and go the extra mile when needed. I contacted DrainMaster with a big problem. I have been getting clogs from roots in my sewer main for years and have rented machines and dealt with it on my own. This time the cable broke and I was left with a sewer snake stuck in my main. After calling around to various businesses, Charlie answered my call and was immediately helpful but not pushy at all. The team came out and ran the camera down to the snag and tried to free it with various methods for a couple hours. They gave me a very fair price for this and gave me a quote for the only solution, digging down and replacing pipe.The fact that they tried so hard to free the cable says a lot about them. Several of the businesses I called said they could do nothing but dig and replace the pipe. I hired them and they were on time, efficient, and professional. If I have issues in the future they will be the first call.

I moved into a new house (new to me) in July and have been having plumbing issues since the middle of September. It was to the point that we couldnt even use the bathrooms at all. Ive had multiple other companies and plumbers here since it started, none of them doing the work to find the actual problem, all of them just treating symptoms and taking more and more of my money. I found DrainMaster through Mark Cantrell plumbing and I dont have enough nice words to say about either company. They listened to my history and did hours of work to figure out the problem. Problems that should have bee resolved by the remediation company when I bought my house, and every other plumbing company since. Ridge did the final snaking of my shower drain, the last of the issues, and I am so happy to have had a shower 2 days in a row and have faith that my problems are fixed.
