I had a great experience with the Columbus Handyman company. I had a closet system that crashed to the ground and I needed a new Closetmaid system one installed. The dimensions for the closet were tricky and the employee did a great job seeking my feedback for the installation. He was on time, very friendly and my closet has never looked better. My wife and I looked at it last night and we were impressed by the installation and the finished job. Very impressive!

All of the Columbus Handyman experts that worked with me for a big job on my sons house should be commended for their timeliness, professionalism, knowledge, thoroughness, and patience. I asked for quite a variety of tasks to be done and then kept adding to that list. Nothing phased them, no matter how difficult, and they completed the tasks earlier than expected at a cost that was reasonable. The gentlemen that assisted me and/or did the amazing work are John, Grant, Derrick, and Brandon, and also Mike, Brian, Gil, and Jeremiah. If I forgot to mention anyone, please forgive me! Lastly, I am a long time customer of Columbus Handyman for big and small jobs and will always continue to be a customer!

We have used Columbus Handyman many times over the past few years on a number of projects. The latest issue was a shed door that was suffering from wood rot. The shed manufacturer no longer sold replacement doors for our model of shed, so the only alternative was to build a new door. It was about 30 days from receiving the quote to having the replacement door in place, with a few weather related delays. The replacement door is great, and the guys who built it did a good job. They were friendly and did a good job with the clean up. I will happily continue to use Columbus Handyman in the future.

Had ugly 30 year old yellowed culture marble tub surround replaced with sparkling white cultured marble surround to give facelift to guest bath. Beautiful! All work took 1 1/2 days more or less. Professional, efficient and quality work all the way!! I could not be more pleased and happy with the final look. In fact, I plan on hiring them again, this time to replace shower walls in master bath! Awesome company to work with.

I am so happy today because I got some tasks done that Ive been staring at for way too long. Columbus Handyman came out and installed 2 window air conditioners, removed one and carried it to my basement for storage, and disassembled a very tightly assembled wooden bedframe, then removed it from my home. He was kind, efficient, and independent. The cost was reasonable! I will definitely be calling Columbus Handyman again!

The Good:Carpenter was fast and courteous.Now the Bad:I do want to say I dont like to say bad things.Threshold not supported completely.Light is visible around the door seal.Deadbolt does not operate without pressing on door.Brick mold was installed in a way where I cant install a storm door.The owner contacted me shortly after I posted this review. He was truly upset about my review. He had the carpenter come out the next day and address my issues. This is customer service you rarely see anymore.

Gil was great and patient with the issue of installing my rocker switch in my upstairs bathroom. It worked but the nightlight couldn’t work, but he tried a few different configurations and ended up explaining why. I did some further research after he left and discovered I had purchased a 3 way rocker switch 3 function instead of the 3 way four function for the Broan light, night light, heater and exhaust fan in that bathroom. I learned something. Next time I’ll get the correct rocker switch. Thanks Gil for your expert patience and service. I appreciate it. I’ve always had great service from Columbus Handyman.Rita

I have never been so happy with a business. I had my wood fence repaired and painted. Also, I had two outside lights switched out. The men worked so hard at making sure everything was done correctly, they show up on time, communicate any problems or solutions and the pricing is very reasonable. We were ultimately happy with the work completed by Columbus handyman, but did have some scheduling issues along the way. They rescheduled the work three times, and most of the time we had advanced notice, but one time was the day of (although the owner himself called to apologise, which I was impressed by and greatly appreciated). Once Jason came out to complete the electrical work (rewiring a bathroom fan and three way switch), he was courteous, professional, and completed the work more quickly than expected. I was very pleased with the final result, and would use Columbus handyman again.

This review is for Greg from Columbus Handyman, whom I hired to replace a light fixture in my bathroom with a combo light/fan in my circa 1940s house. Working on older homes can be a challenge, and I was a little nervous about the project before starting, but Greg did a great job. I wanted to pick out my own fan/light, so he gave me precise specs to use when selecting one. He showed up on time and went the extra mile (and hours) to make sure that things were done right. He even followed up extremely quickly when I had a question after the installation was finished (something very minor that was just an issue with my bulb selection). I was very pleased with my experience and would feel comfortable hiring him again as its clear that a lot of attention to detail was given to doing the job right.

Had multiple plumbing repairs needed. Called a plumbing company to schedule an appt.They gave me a 6 hour window on when to expect the tech. Didnt want to waste a day so on a whim called Columbus Handyman. I had used them on electrical and carpentry jobs in past and they had done a great job. Didnt know they did plumbing. They gave me a time when the plumber was to arrive and he showed 10 minutes early. Once he got here I explained the problems and found that he could do much more than I anticipated so we rescheduled him to come back the next day with the parts and time to complete all the plumbing repairs .He showed up again early and did not waste anytime in completing the projects. He even came in under quoted price. This plumber has experience, works fast, knows what he is doing and is friendly. Highly recommend him and Columbus Handyman.

Happy to SING the praises of Columbus Handyman! We are first-time homeowners and wanted to do a little kitchen re-fresh. New countertops, backsplash, sink/faucet, dishwasher, light fixtures. Columbus Handyman gave us a great quote in comparison to the others we got and after reading reviews I felt good about hiring them -- but obviously being new to this arena had no idea what to fully expect. But my gosh I just need to say how WONDERFUL Mike and Grant were to work with. Grant coordinated the project and responded to my many emails so kindly. And Mike did the actual work and he was *fantastic.* Not only a highly skilled handyman (his tile work is beautiful) -- but also a wonderful human. He was so sweet, considerate and accommodating throughout the week-long job. I am so grateful for him! One morning he literally scrapped the ice and snow off my windshield when he saw me sitting in my car warming it up (dont know where my scraper went...) Talk about above and beyond. Sent pictures of the gas hot water tank and the plumber was here within a few hours, he bought the new tank at Beechwold Hardware , replaced the tank, and took the old one out. Wonderful service. I am a senior citizen. I called the company last evening and spoke with the owner. Very nice gentleman. I explained the electrical issue I had. He told me not to worry and he would have someone at my house the following morning.As promised, before 9am the next morning I received a call advising that 2 employees would be at my home within 15 minutes.They arrived, we’re very nice and put on booties before they entered my home. I showed them the issue and they resolved it quickly. When done, they cleaned up the area.Great experience.
