Had a routine heat/air inspection. Asked Jimmie what he thought about a weird wet spot in a bathroom. Jimmie advised me to call a Dixie plumber out, and took a few pictures for reference.Bryant came out and looked at the bathroom and under the house, and suggested the shower pan may have failed. Bryant advised me to pursue the situation further.Servepro came out yesterday to remove the shower pan. The contractor mentioned we must have had a pretty good plumber to catch that as a pan failure. There was no evidence under the house. There was a lot of hidden mold and moisture that is now being treated.Huge thank you to both Jimmie and to Bryant and his coworker for working together and offering advice for me to handle the water loss.

The fellas arrived when they said they would. Very clean. They didnt make a mess like some plumbers do (yep, calling out you RR!!). None of them talked down to me. They gave me the bad news about the upcoming costs and which of my azaleas are going to have to be removed to dig a trench to replace the pipe that needs replacing. I had hoped it was the tree causing the problem (I dont like that tree) but it isnt. One of the fellas, Ryan I think his name was, inspected the other pipes in the house and fixed my garbage disposal and left a tool for us to fix it... he shouldnt have, as the last plumber didnt leave it when he installed it (yep, calling you out h&h).Since moving to Columbus 5 years ago, this is the 3rd plumber Ive had to hire. I think we have found our permanent plumber!!!Thanks Dixie!!

When we built our home, the size of our home was in between AC sizes. I wanted the larger size, but Jimmie said it would be best to go with the smaller size to prevent any moisture issues. I was not happy with this recommendation, but he is supposed to know what he is doing. We put the smaller unit in, it has been in for several years and I am MORE THAN PLEASED with Jimmies recommendation. Our home stays very cool and we have had no moisture issues. There were some other recommendations that Jimmie made that have turned out to be SPOT on!! I just wanted to take this time to publicly thank Jimmie and show appreciation for his quality and knowledge!!
