I have a brand new Generac generator installed recently. I started experiencing some fault alarms. I called Countryside on Fathers Day Sunday and expected to leave a message but Mark answered the phone. He came out the same day (in between picnics) and verified the issue and had Eric come out the next day.Eric found some ground wires internal to the generator that were not terminated properly at the factory which caused the alarms. Eric checked all internal connections, tightened and recrimped where needed. Everything is now up and running again.Thanks Mark and Eric and Countryside for the great service!

When the power went out, we expected the generator to come on—but it didn’t. I was panicked, we are old people who cannot tolerate temperature extremes due to medical issues. When we called Countryside Electric, even though all the service techs were out on other calls, I could tell that Brittany, the office manager, truly cared and wanted to help. You know what I mean—with some businesses, you can tell it’s just business. But she really cared that someone was panicked and needed immediate help. The first thing she did was try to talk my husband through the process on the phone, and while he was able to go outside and get the generator running, we discovered a few minutes later that power had not transferred to the house—so I called back a second time.Brittany contacted a technician (I later found out he is her husband) who by luck was nearby, and he was at our house in less than a half hour. I understand that we were lucky—but had she not cared, she wouldn’t have gone to the trouble to see if anyone was in our neighborhood, and just put us on the list instead. Kyle, the technician, quickly located the problem, and got it running properly. We were told we’d need to switch the house back to the regular electrical supply manually when the power came back on.Around eleven o’clock at night, it occurred to me that the power might come on after we went to bed, and I didn’t know what would happen if we didn’t know until morning. Could it damage the generator, hurt our circuitry, start a fire? I was ready to stay up all night to make sure we were awake to handle the transfer when the power came back on. So I called Countryside Electric, to find out if it was safe to go to bed, and as late as it was, I got a call back from Kyle in less than ten minutes—amazing! I found out later that he’d been up since four in the morning, and still had service calls to finish! But he took time to reassure us that nothing bad would happen if we went to bed. I was REALLY impressed that he took the time to call us, considering how hectic his day had to have been. He came back a few days later and determined that for some reason unusual conditions had prevented the transfer switch from working as it should, but showed my husband what to do in the unlikely event that it ever happened again. Apparently the electricity had blinked off and then on so many times that the mechanism was confused about whether or not our electrical supply was crying wolf, and it had concluded it was a false alarm. At the same time we discovered that our sump pump was not wired into the control panel, so Kyle will be coming back to fix that for us.Kyle and Brittany went above and beyond what you would normally expect from a company in an emergency, and I can’t express how grateful I am not to have had to evacuate my home. Thanks to their diligence, we were only without power for about an hour! I also would like to add that they serviced my generator the past few times, and their pricing is very competitive. I couldn’t be happier.

I couldnt recommend anyone better!!! James, Steve, and Clyde were so professional, friendly, and accomodating to all of our needs and aesthetics when installing several very high up ceiling fans and fixtures. These guys were great to work with!!!They cared about my home by keeping their work neat and tidy and working with me on how things looked in my home. Not many contractors would want the input of the wife on how things look but as they worked they always asked my input and were happy to accomodate my requests.

Glen, Scott, Brittany, Nick, Kyle, & Aiden - I wanted to personally thank you for installing the Generac Standby Generator at my home in Mason, Ohio. The 3 men (Nick, Kyle & Aiden) worked professionally and respectfully in my yard in 90+ degree heat. They carefully pruned the trees and brush to make space for the generator, trenched the underground utility access, and installed and tested the generator unit. They communicated with me throughout the process. They even went above and beyond to check that the appliances in the home were functioning after the utilities had been turned back on. Well done Countryside Electric Team!

It was time for an upgrade and once again they were by far the best priced and best quality for my needs. I highly recommend this company, they have been around for years and have maintained a good reputation for quality work at a fair price!!!

Worthington Career Services is grateful to Countryside Electric for the great work they did in accommodating us with a generator. They are a very dependable family-owned business and care about the customer as opposed to only doing the job. We will be contracting them in the future for additional projects. Its a comfort to know that we have quality electricians!

Countrysides electrician Brian installed new track lighting on our kitchen ceiling, added an exterior floodlight to the back of our house - with a new switch for it in our dining room, and changed an outdated overhead sink light for a new contemporary one. Installing the new switch for the exterior light was an especially complex job, as it had to be routed coming up from our basement walls. They did a perfect job, gave us excellent advice on where fixtures should go, and completed the job with no problem. They were courteous, cleaned up everything, and the total cost was very reasonable. We would recommend Countryside for residential electrical work to anyone!

I had problems with my new backup generator since another electrician (not so good) replaced the 10 year old one with a more powerful one I had acquired. He neglected to rewire the main entry panel and our household lighting and electronics were always burping.I heard of CountrySide and that they specialize in Generac generators. Even though I didnt buy the generator from them (as I had it already) they were glad to come out to inspect and found the significant wiring error right away. The home was not properly isolated.They scheduled and appointment and were right on time. The tech was very friendly and even let me watch, learn and assist. He also found that the other electrician used the totally wrong mainline cable (a code and fire hazard). A very thick and different cable was needed but he didnt have one on the truck. He actually drove to the local Home Depot to try to find it and when HD didnt have it he called back to the office and they dispatched a 2nd tech with the proper cable(while he was working on the internal rewiring) at no extra cost. All in all the quoted 1 afternoon job was done in exactly one afternoon with minimal disruption to home power as they did all the pre-work and only cut power to replace the mainline cable.Since they fixed it, the lights dont dim, the electronics work perfectly and the generator is running at top notch! I plan on using them for other upgrades and installations in the future.They know what they are doing!

Countryside electric has the best custom residential service Ive ever dealt with.The crew they had out at my custom home was fast and always had insight of how I could make my home look better very kind guys The supervisor was very nice and professional and the emergency service calls was very fast they was at my house within 20 minutes.They do very good business and the work they put out is amazing I will recommend this shop to anyone if they want there house done right!!!

Brian came today to fix an electrical problem my condo is having and could not have been nicer or more professional. The problem is with AEP and he tried his hardest to get it resolved today but wasnt able to and it wasnt because he didnt try. I have him scheduled when AEP can meet him here to do the repair.
