Excellent Work and Attention to DetailWe hired Emerald Electric to install new recessed lighting in our 100+ year old home, and the experience was fantastic. They worked diligently to ensure our design ideas were feasible, considering the challenges posed by joists and other structural constraints. The electrician measured everything carefully—twice, maybe even three times—and minimized the number of holes needed. After completing the installation, they cleaned up thoroughly, leaving no dust behind, and even helped me set up the lights on the mobile app. I highly recommend Emerald Electric for their professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

I called Emerald out of the blue when the recent severe storm caused a branch to fall on my service line causing the bracket that secured it to get ripped out and the line was lying across my backyard. Tad called me back right away to send photos. He then texted me an estimate. He came a day early to do the work and did a great gob and charged me 25% less than the estimate. Tad’s assistant Mitch sawed the tree branch into small pieces and cleaned up the backyard and swept off the deck. Also, both Tad and Mitch were super friendly and professional. I can’t recommend Emerald highly enough!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Tad and his son really went above and beyond to help us. We had kind of an odd job request (needed help with for our business) and Tad came the next day and did the entire job! Very quick, reliable, and family friendly!! I would highly recommend him!

Tad was fantastic! I could not say enough nice things about his professionalism and kindness. I moved into my new house and just about everything needs to be replaced. Tad was the inspector for closing the house and I was impressed by his efficient work, so I went back to him for having the items fixed. Tad replaced the electric panel, added motion lights to front and back of the house with additional electric outlet, rewired part of the house (where the original wiring did not make sense), and came up with clever ways to add landscaping lights on the lawn and the trees (the outside looks very nice at night now). He was always on time, communicative, respectful, and very pleasant to talk to. His work was very efficient. So impressive!Tad is not only very skillful and experienced, but also a very kind and genuine person. He treated the work on my house as if it were his own house, and when he sees things that were not right, he would fix it for me right away, without me asking. All these small things reflect his kindness. I cannot express how much it means for me, as I am a first time home owner and have a very busy work schedule. I wish we had more people like Tad in our everyday work and life. I would trust Tad to take care of anything in my house, and recommend him to anybody who is looking for electrical services.

I live in an older home with complicated electrical challenges. Tad was able to correct errors of past work poorly done, was inventive in solutions and very respectful of my property. I highly recommend him as an electrician. He was also very helpful with projects of a more general “handy man” nature.Our much loved, 1957 Mid-century Modern, Shaker Heights house needed repairs, maintenance and updating. We highly recommend Tad from “Emerald Electric” Tad is electrically intuitive as well as competent, HIGHLY qualified and pays attention to detail way above the norm. He is efficient and the work area is left clean and functioning. Tad is more than willing to skillfully apply other talents to achieve the intended goals. All jobs that Tad worked on; excellent results were achieved.

Professional service, attention to detail, shows up on time. I love the work he has done on my century home. Tad came to install some antique sconces. He did a beautiful job with the delicate fixtures. While in the house he noticed an electrical outlet behind my coffee machine that was incorrectly installed and he reinstalled it for me so that it looked and functioned much better. Tad goes above and beyond on the jobs he does!

Tad has done electrical for me & my family and we’ve all been very happy. He’s thorough, efficient, a genius problem solver and you can trust it’ll be done right.I recently asked him to evaluate adding an accessory dwelling in my basement. He listened to all my ideas, took them in & walked me through the pros & cons and then problem solved coming up with better, safer work arounds.Those are the “pros” the ONLY con, he gets a lot of referrals and can get really busy so you may need to “stand in line”. In the end, it’s worth it.

All around great electrician. Tad tackles the “old house” issues with patience. Great problem solving skills. Does what’s he says. Good communicator. We’ve used twice: once to replace main power disconnect box, once to add security lighting outside where there was no power. Both difficult jobs.
