Dave and his team were kind, accommodating, and surprisingly educational in the way in which they helped me deal with the fallout from a bad storm. When a tree ripped all cables and wiring from the side of my house, they worked their tales off getting things right and getting my power restored as soon as they could.Ill certainly be using them again and recommending Dave and his team to anyone in need of an electrician.

Highly recommend.I called and first Dave asked for the details of the issue and was very helpful up front in advice and trying to pinpoint what the cause and resolution of the problem was.Turns out that I had an old ballast type light outlet in the basement and I had installed an incorrect fluorescent lamp which had caused the ballast to malfunction and smoke - fire hazard.He sent one of his crew out immediately the next day (Which was extremely kind as he had a very busy schedule) because we were all worried about the fire hazard.Mad Max came out and was polite and professional, and had the light fixtures replaced very quickly and the price was as quoted to us on the phone by Dave.Mad Max and Dave were both honest and easy to work with. Will def. use them again.

Daves Electric recently completed 4 projects at our house. The quality of their work was excellent. Sam was good at giving us options and he kept us informed of what he was doing throughout the two days he was here. I had to leave when they were finishing up, so I paid him and left. I returned home to find that they had put our furniture back in place (which I had moved out of the way), which was truly appreciated. I highly recommend these guys.

I live out of the area and called Dave for a service call for my tenants. I told him what was going on and he made a few suggestions before scheduling. His suggestions fixed the issue and he was able to save me a service call! The fact that he promptly responded and decided to help knowing he may not receive our business tells you what kind of person he is. I will turn to him for any future needs. I really appreciate the assistance!

Dave himself promptly came out to a property I manage, analyzed the (rather strange) situation, and provided a solution at a very reasonable price. Sam came out to do the work the next day (They needed a special panel.) and was quick, courteous, clean, and efficient. I am very pleased with the process and the work and will be using Dave’s as my “go to” electrical services provider going forward. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.

Dave came out to take a look at what it would take to install a new bathroom vent and ceiling fan. His son, Sam, and co-worker Max, quickly came over to my house to provide a detailed breakdown of what it would take to install the new bathroom vent and ceiling fan (and even gave me the bathroom vent model to purchase!)I was quickly scheduled the following week to get the new ceiling fan and bathroom vent I had purchased installed. Sam and Max did quick and efficient work for a very good price. Would highly recommend!!

We had lights flickering and going out for several seconds in one portion of the house. I called Daves at 8pm and they answered the phone immediately and diagnosed the problem, recommended calling electrical company to assess outside lines and guided me through what to say to the electric company so that they would come ASAP. Problem was fixed. Daves reached out that evening and next morning to make sure everything was OK. Will definitely use this company in the future.

We had a row of electrical outlets go out and the breaker wouldnt flip back. Dave was able to come out same day to evaluate the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection and evaluation of situation. He arranged for Sam to come out the following day to perform the work needed. Sam arrived with Max promptly the following morning. They fixed the problem for more than a fair price. The most important thing about my experience with them is that these gentlemen take great pride in their craft and there is not an ounce of doubt that the job was done well and done right.

We lost power in our home on Sunday morning. Called Daves Electric around 8:30 AM, and reached Dave who told me he would be over within the hour, and to call the electric utility company, as he thought one of the two phases was out. He was at our house 45 minutes later, did a thorough inspection, and was correct in his initial assessment. The power company restored power. Had he not told me to call the electric company when I first called him, I would have waited hours longer for restoration of power.I have used Dave on the rare occasions I have needed help with an electrical issue in our home and he has always been very prompt in servicing us, very fair in his pricing, very clear about what the problem is and what needs to be done, very pleasant, and he gets the job done quickly and completely. There has never been any need for follow-up visits. I have complete confidence in his abilities and recommend him to anyone who asks me if I know a good electrician.

They did great work for us!We initially called them to get an electrical quote for our kitchen remodel, but we liked their design ideas and local connections so much that we brought Sam (Daves son/partner) on as our GC! The kitchen came out spectacular and the price was spot-on.A few months after we finished the kitchen we had ice-damming and needed to fix the bathroom. Dave & Sam handled all of the insurance paperwork, meeting with the adjuster, etc. The bathroom came out even more phenomenal than the kitchen.Cannot recommend them more highly!

We had an ice storm that ripped the main power lines from the side of our house - we were responsible for repairing our houses insulators, etc. so that the power company could re-attach our line. We called Daves and they had the new insulator up within a couple of hours. They checked everything out and had us ready to go. They were reasonably priced and were great to work with. Recently, they came out at night when i experienced rain leaking in near our breaker box. I also asked them to upgrade my panel as it was maxed out. Everything was done so well that the inspector said, Wow, these guys are good. They were on time, on budget, courteous, cleaned up after themselves. As with most home-improvement projects, I always feel I can do it myself. Well, living in a home built in the 50s always makes me realize the opposite -- leaving me to call on the professionals after I remove old fixtures that need replacement. I needed a new outdoor light, removed the old one and the wires were . . . coming right out of the wall . . . no outlet box. Thats when I called Daves Electric . . . and electrician Sam was here in about an hour.Sam did a fantastic job. Very friendly and pragmatic, he did the job and did it well. I now have a new front door light installed the way it should be installed in 2018 and not 1957. Highly recommended as they are my new electrical service of choice!

Honest, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. Had another electrician look at some problems we were having with light switches, plug and fuse and they said the wiring was bad. Dave took care of the problems without having to rewire the house and explained that the switches etc.. were not top of the line, but it wasnt a systemic issue. Super honest and knows his stuff. Highly recommend!

Dave’s Electric installed ceiling heaters on our outdoor porch which required running 220v lines from the basement to the 2nd floor porch and installing 220 and 110 outlets indoors and out. Excellent work allows us to entertain family outside on Christmas Eve with warm heaters overhead. Fast, efficient and creative. We highly recommend them.

However, I do agree with the multiple one-star reviews about the customer service being pretty weak - slow to respond, vague, and confusing at times. Worth it though, I think.

Sam of Daves Electrical Service, LTD, came within two days, with a young assistant, and completed in 40 minutes a job that another electrician had spent that much time arguing about. He installed an electrical box to code, within/above the stucco ceiling of a 1930-built duplex with knob-and-tube wiring (two pairs of hot and neutral wires, because two light switches for a duplex); and then he re-installed the original ten-pound, cast-iron fixture, which had already been restored (sandblasted, repainted, glass panes replaced, sockets rewired). It works just fine, despite the dire predictions of the other electrician about feedback and endless troubleshooting. Hooray! He was prompt, courteous, competent, and efficient. I am delighted!
