Due to my wife’s serious health problems, she now needs 14 hour TPN I.V. infusions at home every night, necessitating refrigeration of her I.V. nutrition medication bags and vials of vitamins and ensuring that her I.V. Infusion pump can be recharged daily after use. I became concerned about extended power outages after what northeast Ohio experienced in the summer of 2024. So, I purchased a 7000 watt portable inverter generator to have available should that need arise again, but needed to have a 30amp inlet box professionally wired into my main electric service panel to make it easier for me to use. I also needed to have an interlock installed onto the electric panel to avoid a dangerous “back feed” of electricity if the main breaker was ever neglected to be tripped manually before sending power from the generator to the panel. So, I did my due diligence and got several quotes for the job. A/C Electric provided a quote that was one third the amount quoted by other professional contractors. From the prompt, professional and polite estimate by William Dominguez on 10/01, to the equally professional install done by the electrician Todd on 10/23, I was struck by the overall efficient way they approached this smaller job. I received a text message on the day of the install to alert me that my technician was enroute and provided an estimated time of arrival and a link to follow his travels. Todd arrived in a very professionally detailed company van that was well equipped as well as having a distinctly marked detail sign and logo package. Todd came prepared and on time on the day of the pre-arranged appointment, and began by introducing himself with his company business cards in-hand and clean and pressed uniform short with his name printed over his breast pocket. He discussed what he was going to do, explained the safety of operating the portable generator properly. The install took about an hour, and afterward, Todd gave me a tutorial/demonstration on how to safely connect the portable generator to the inlet box and how to manipulate the interlock mechanism. He even gave me advice on the safest distance and location to place the generator when operating, to prevent accidental CO2 poisoning from the exhaust. All-in-all, this was the best experience for me, and I highly recommend A/CElectric for any of your electrical jobs both large or small! They are dependable, professional, and VERY fairly priced!!!

We have an old home so our electric system can be confusing. AC Electric are experts. They installed ceiling lights, ceiling fan and completed some electrical repairs. Their work was efficient. They are very experienced and professional. I found them while they were doing work on my neighbor’s house. Our neighbor was happy with AC Electrics work, and so are we. I recommend for sure!

I really appreciated that William was able to get my job scheduled in the timeframe I needed. José did a great job, replaced 3 outdoor light fixtures and 2 indoor light fixtures, fixed 2 wobbly outlets, added a new outlet over the mantel behind TV to end the dangling cord jungle, and put in a dimmer switch. It’s been almost 2 years and have not had any problems.

Excellent work! William, the service manager, was fabulous from the initial consultation to the end of the work. I appreciated that he stopped in to see how the team was doing. The team that did our electrical work (John, Reggie, and Ian) was great. They were professional, courteous, on time, and were very pleased with the work they did. We had ceiling lights put in that needed to be in wire moulding as the house was built without overhead lights in most of the rooms. We had a ceiling fan installed, under cabinet LED lights, plus other work. I really appreciated that the team members would ask us for clarification when they werent sure or if they thought what we wanted wasnt the best solution--they were right every time. We will definitely use AC Electric again.

I was under the gun to have my electrical panel upgraded by the condo association. I contacted FirstEnergy and they put me in touch with AC Electric. Response was immediate and my first interaction with Todd Fowler was professional at the start! He explained what work needed to be done and gave me an estimate for that work. Deciding to use AC Electric to do the replacement, my second interaction was with John, who was on time as scheduled. He worked quietly as possible, kept me up to date on what he was doing and after completion showed me the brand new panel. Deciding to add a surge protector, John prepped the work that was to be completed by William Dominguez, who was equally prompt and professional throughout the entire process. I have no knowledge of electric and could have easily been ripped off but these three men and their dispatch team walked me through everything and I feel I got what my money paid for and more. Had a very old electrical panel that finally failed, taking out half the power in my house. Initially John came out and was able to diagnose the issue quickly and explain why replacing the panel was the best long-term solution. John came back out the very next day with three other guys, Reggie, Ian, and Wilson. Every single guy was polite and knowledgeable. They all wore show covers to protect my floor and even made sure to keep the basement door closed so my cats didnt get in. Very considerate. It was long day for them, but they never stopped working and got everything done on time. They meticulously labeled the panel and I could not be happier with their work.

Had power flickering issues, which were quickly identified by Todd, estimates were given while still onsite. Repairs were scheduled for same week, which included main panel replacement, updated grounding, and moving main electrical service away from a second floor window. The repairs were done by Reggie and Luis both days. These gentlemen were very courteous and professional and kept me notified of everything they were doing throughout the entire process. I will be calling AC Electric next time I need anything electrical done at my home.

My experience with AC Electric was pleasant from beginning to end. I was able to get a quick appointment. Field Supervisor William Dominguez did the initial consultation. Mr. Dominguez was very knowledgeable and informative but not intimidating. It turned out that we needed a whole new electric panel (which we already suspected) and some work on the outside meter to bring it up to code. Both Mr. Dominguez and service technician, John Bastawros, came back to complete the work along with taking care of some other, loose-end type maintenance--getting rid of wires that were no longer being used, upgrading some outlets and repairing a wire in the kitchen ceiling fan. My husband and I couldnt be more satisfied with their prompt, efficient and courteous service. Definitely recommend and will keep them in my contacts list.

Hearing horror stories of friends looking for electricians for home repairs, I called the number for referrals by First Energy. They hooked me up with AC Electric. William came out and looked over my house and what I wanted done. He was knowledgeable and patient in explaining what the jobs would entail. I thought the price was fair and scheduled the work. The crew consisted of John and Ryan. They were punctual both days and worked hard. The work was completed early. John made sure to walk me through the completed job and make sure I was happy. Ryan had a suggestion I thought was better than what I asked for so I went with his idea. Both men were personable and kept their work incredibly clean. All old pieces were removed and I had nothing to clean up after they left. The completed work was above my expectations.It was not without a problem though. Going over the completed work there was something I thought I had asked for. Looking back at the contract, it was only included that I would get an estimate, my mistake. John quickly called to get a price for the work and thirty minutes later that additional work was finished. Having been in customer service before, it is a mark of excellence when an issue arises and it is quickly taken care of. This is why I am giving them a five star review. I am so happy with the electrical services this company provided me. I first met with Todd and got a clear estimate from him for new outlets and lighting in my basement, and replacement of several outlets and broken light switches throughout my house. He listened to me when I explained what I was looking for and didnt try to push anything on me that I didnt want. Then when the two electricians showed up to work (sorry I didnt get their names), they were both friendly and professional and did a great job all around. I couldnt be happier. After 40 long years of a dark and dreary basement, I now have light--wow! What great light!--and plenty of outlets for connecting power tools when working in my new basementworkshop. And working light switches and outlets in my house! Its amazing how such small things can make such a huge difference. We recently purchased a 1950’s home with Federal Pacific breakers and knob and tube wiring. AC Electric had some good info on their website about those old installations so I called them for a quote.I’ve worked with a number of contractors and I always look at how quickly do they respond to inquiries and if they show up on time to appointments (or call you if they’re running late).The entire crew at AC was great to work with. Quick to respond, quick to quote and quick to address change requests as they were required.Todd quoted most of the project and kept me informed on progress.The installation was well done and time efficient. I was very impressed with the service and skill. I’d recommend them without any hesitation.

We came from out of State a year and a half ago to be near my wifes 93 y.o. Mom and had extensive electrical work done in Dec 2015. AC Electric responded with a completely detailed plan of work to be done and parts to be purchased. They accommodated adjustments for our budget as the work continued. How many contracting companies do you become familiar with the workers on a first name basis- with AC you know them all from the CEO, Asminit, to the line guys and the secretary as well. Emails and calls are returned promptly. If you are wanting a job on the cheap, dont call AC.Now we have AC Electric wiring a kitchen /main floor bathroom addition as our Lakewood home has only an upstairs bathroom. Again, AC is efficient and always in communication. If we have questions, issues or changes, they respond immediately- great work.They are professional electricians and make sure your house is safer and more functional than when they started. They will adjust the job to fit your budget, but they will not sacrifice perfection or milk you in any way. They never do unnecessary work. Todd was one of the most professional people Ive had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. He did the work like he was working on his own house! I initially called to install a ceiling fan. They did that and so much more! They found improper insulation in the attic crawlspace with my old wiring, and removed/cleaned much of it out at no extra charge. I also mentioned how my lights flickered when the AC would turn on. So they inspected all my breaker boxes at no charge, and found that a previous owner of my home fancied himself an electrician and literally cut corners (and wires) and did a substandard job with much of the wiring in the 3 breaker panels in my house. So much so that it was a fire hazard waiting to happen.AC Electric was super professional and responsive. It took them 2.5 days to fix but after its all said and done my home is safe and up to code now. They were up front about all costs and stuck to their original estimate. No surprise charges or extra work that was needed like spo many other contractors will attempt.I highly recommend AC Electric.

It is rare in these times for a company to hold dear the values of yesteryear. AC Electric practices those values in every aspect of their work. The whole house had to be rewired and needless to say, it took awhile. I must say, every day when they left, my home was cleaner than when they got here. The integrity that is practiced is above reproach. Everything is neat and done right. We were kept abreast of what they were doing and then what the plan was for the next day. This was invaluable since it allowed me to work around things and change things if I needed to. The entire crew from the owner on down was kind, considerate and respectfully polite.I HIGHLY recommend you call them for any job large or small. He was incredibly knowledgable, worked swiftly, explained the issue and even offered helpful advice. We were connected with AC Electric through our power company, First Energy. Everyone we spoke to and dealt with was incredibly nice and professional. Todd came to our house to walk through and do an estimate. He was here hours discussing what was most crucial for safety and plans for our multiple projects. He also recommended products for us to purchase to help save money by buying direct.We had technicians at our house for nearly a full week and I now wish I could have AC Electric do all our house projects (if you guys decide to start doing counters, let me know!). John B. was the lead electrician for our projects and he was the absolute best! He called every morning to let me know he was on the way and often showed up before 8am to get started. He was incredibly knowledgable and polite and considerate with me working at home. I always knew what to expect during the day and for the next day so I could readily plan in advance. He also made sure his entire work area was completely clean every evening when leaving.If I ever need electric work done, or know someone that does, I have Todd and Johns cards on the fridge and know just who to call. AC Electric did an amazing job from beginning to end.

A tree fell on my power line from the street. I contacted AC Electric at 8:00 on a Sunday night and and they arrived within 30 minutes and did a temporary electrical hookup, in the rain, and saved my basement from flooding. They came back early in the week and rewired the hookup and replaced some inside wiring. They did an excellent job, quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed with their knowledge and quality of work.

Quality service with very knowledgeable and experienced electricians. Very professional and always punctual. AC electric has been the best contractor that we have ever had at our house. Weve had landscaping and concrete, plumbers, roofers, Universal Windows, Sears, etc... all do work at our house and AC Electric is far beyond anything we ever expected. The project manager, to satisfy our concerns, even answered our call on his day off, which was also his birthday. Im not gonna say everything was perfect though, if you can stay calm and get past Wendy when you call for a quote then you are in for a customer service experience unrivaled in todays residential contractors. John was was the on-call technician when I discovered that my dryer outlet was fried. Wet clothes inside, rain outside. I called AC Electric through their yelp profile, and they sent John out. Super professional and knew what he was doing. He didnt have the part he needed when he arrived, but he knew that as soon as he saw the outlet. Within an hour, I was up and running.

Had AC electric come out to diagnose why I had lightbulbs burning out rapidly in my basement and why I had no power to a bedroom. Todd came out and informed me that water had been getting into my panel and it was corroded and would need to be replaced. He promptly fixed what he could and set me up with a quote for a new panel. The price was very fair and they came back a few weeks later (it was my choice to push out installation) to finish the job. Norma in the office was very nice and helpful and called to make sure everything was up to my standards throughout the whole process. I’m very pleased with the work performed and if I need work in the future I will be sure to call them.
