I have worked with Lipps electric for 3 separate jobs this year. They are pleasant, thorough, and knowledgeable. They always offer a clear explanation of the problem and provide a variety of options at various cost tiers to fix the basic problem or provide more preventative care. Today, we needed to replace outlets due to the circuit being overloaded. This is a picture of the outlet behind the bed in my daughters room. Definitely a safety concern...when they checked the other outlets on the circuit, another was replaced for the same reason. Greg has been one of my favorite technicians. He is personable, and even allows my golden retriever to work with him on the job. Buddy says thank you!!

Very good experience. Extremely easy to set up appointment for estimate for 3 ceiling lights and a chandelier in our 2-story entry. They were able to install with no problem (even for the light fixture requiring scaffolding in the entry). Prices seem fair (I got their cheapest/ lowest level of service that did not include a lot of extra electrical system inspection and testing). The electricians were very professional and experienced. We previously used Lipps Electric to install ceiling fans, and we will call them again in the future.

Logan added an overhead light/chandelier plus dimmer switch to my living room which was without an overhead light. He had to crawl around the attic, find a suitable energy source to feed off, cut into the ceiling and place a box and mounting bar. He was on time for the appointment, cleaned up well, kept me informed, and my new light is spectacular! Thank you Logan…you worked hard to make my vision for the room a reality.

We had a 50 amp breaker in one of our main electrical panel that was tripping on a daily basis. This breaker fed a sub-panel, but none of the individual breakers in the sub-panel were tripping. Dave, the electrician from Lipps came out and thoroughly checked out our system and determined the issue was the 50 amp breaker was failing and needed to be replaced. He also recommended that we add surge protection. Actually, after analyzing the problem, he offered a range of options from very basic to some upgrades to the existing setup. I appreciated having a menu of options to choose from and select which option I felt was the best value for our situation. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to choose one option vs. another. Dave explained the options and let me choose what I felt best for our situation. Totally happy with this experience.

Beautiful!I was so happy to find an electric company that provides options like the house inspection option-which I also had completed-it allowed the the electrician (Ryan) to find any items needing attention in my home and help me decide which items to upgrade in a stepwise manner. Every electrician I met was very professional, nice, patient and did everything they could to deliver on my request.The reason for 4 stars and not 5 has nothing to do with the electricians, they were great! I didnt like the billing structure, the itemized invoicing style and the frequency in which they had to keep coming back to finish jobs. So be aware that the job my require them to come out several times. In my case it was fine but w/ different circumstances it could be inconvenient. Not a deal breaker for me, Ill be calling them again because the electricians you talk to are great.

Greg and Dave are awesome!!! They took down old ceiling fans and light fixtures and replaced them with three new crystal chandeliers which had to be completely put together from many many pieces (they were not already assembled). They also installed five ceiling medallions. They replaced our undercabinet fluorescent lights with LED lights, changed out all of the halogen lighting to LEDs. Replaced all the old rope lighting that was in the recessed areas of our tall ceilings to LED. Installed dimmer switches. And removed one light fixture and installed it above our pool table. They are very meticulous and do a fantastic job. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!
