Every aspect of my experience with this company was great, from the scheduling to the appointment itself. Really happy with my experience. My furnace stopped working and I started calling any company I could find to see who could get here quickest. Had another company come and tell me they could repair my unit for $1,200 tomorrow or replace it which they obviously recommended. Luckily I had JM come shortly after to get a second opinion. Jason easily got my unit working in 15 minutes. I asked him about the repair recommended and he said if I wanted to go that route it would cost half of what the other company quoted but I probably wont need to do it soon. He was very knowledgeable and explained things very well. I will only be calling JM for any of my future needs.

I recently hired JM Mechanical to install an entire new furnace into my home after my old unit was requiring a $1,000 part needed to repair. The old unit was about 16 years old and was slowly becoming a money pit for repairs year over year. After speaking with the lead technician and the owner of the company it made more sense to install a new and more reliable and efficient unit for my family so we werent trapped without heat the following winters to come.The technicians were friends and greeted me when they arrived. JM Mechanical uses the newest technologies for their appointment scheduler and communications between the customer and their dispatch. They arrived promptly the morning of the install as agreed and were in and out if my house within 4 hours with the old furnace removed and the new furnace 100% installed and operating.I highly recommend this company for their excellent customer service, reliability and quality parts that they use. These guys were great. I had a new furnace installed and everything went like clockwork. Timing was exactly as estimated. A text was sent to let me know when they were on the way, along with a link to track their arrival. The guys were super nice, wore boot covers to protect floors, and were respectful of property. They took a credit card and emailed the receipt, signed agreements, and checklist immediately. The office does the work to file the warranty so you dont forget, then sends that information by mail. The price was competitive, the business ran like a well-oiled machine, and Im toasty warm as I write this review.

I’ve been using JM Mechanical for several years. They always have well trained techs. My only complaint is they charge ridiculous prices for switching out a thermostat. My Eccobee failed, they wanted $315 to install a Honeywell T-4 ($45 on Amazon) and nearly $1k for a new Eccobee.

I was absolutely blown away by Alex Willwerth, Ben Long, and their new trainee. I didn’t get his name but all three were excellent. They went above and beyond with this specific job. They were originally there to replace A/C parts and quickly realized I had a gas leak. As a father with two small children, this was very alarming. The team quickly worked to fix the leak, reconfigure the piping so this wouldn’t happen again. Alex could still see my unease and offered to walk my wife and I through everything he had fixed. He offered up a carbon monoxide detector and checked all piping to ensure there was no leaks. He also asked us to follow up with Duke Energy so we would be at ease. To me, this was above and beyond the call of duty. All three men were patient, professional and articulate in walking us through problems. Good help is tough to find, I hope these three men continue their good work, and are rewarded for it. I appreciated their help and kindness more than they could know. Thanks for everything!

Great job and look forward to my install soon !Updated: Just had the Install crew here to perform a very difficult installation. They did it in easy-peasy fashion! Furnace working perfectly and I now have a higher efficiency furnace providing reliable heat again ! They have the RIGHT culture for a HVAC service company. A PERFECT customer experience! I up my rating from eleventeen stars to 13 stars. If you ever need HVAC work done, please call these folks...Fair pricing, no BS and super efficient at their job. December 2012 JM Mechanical came out to my house to check on my furnace, on Christmas Eve. My wife was 7 months pregnant at the time and our house had become like an ice chest. They were able to determine the issue, correct it, and get our house nice and warm again. They also didnt charge a crazy exorbitant rate for a holiday service trip.

In our 2nd year of owning our house and in the hottest summer, our outdoor AC went out. JM came out and struggled to find the problem. The service tech was awesome replaceingseveral parts before finding the issue. I believe he even put his vacation on hold until it was done. 7 years later it is still running strong. Thank You JM. The tech that came out was at the appointment right on time. Scheduling was very easy. The inspection of the HVAC unit was very thorough and the tech did not try to say things were wrong and sell us a bunch of stuff we did not need. And the price of the service was very affordable.
