Wired service line to a new panel in detached garage. Mixed experience with this company. Some was great. Some was a complete fail. The fail was primarily in details and in communications. But the devil is in the details, right?1) Five stars: I was impressed with Wil, who came out to give the estimate. He was the only person among several companies that I got bids from who said they would bore instead of trenching to lay the cable. That was excellent! They bored under the tree roots and under the garden - minimal disturbance. This method should be used as much as possible!2) Three stars: The guys who did the work did a creditable job. But they did not let me know in advance that they were on their way - important as it was a rental property and I needed to inform my tenant. They never read that note given them by the dispatcher.3) Four stars: When the installation was done, the company wanted payment. I said Id rather wait until the IBI inspector signed off. Reasonable isnt it? Cause in fact the first inspection failed due to some improper wiring to the meter/outside breaker, and also didnt meet code inside the garage. This was remedied at no extra charge to me and the inspector came out a second time.4) Three stars: Once that was done, I was not told anything about next steps. I did not know that I needed to call Duke and set up an account. This is something that Cullen should have informed me of, and its just lucky I wasnt waiting around a long time with no power restored. They told me their responsibility was complete once the inspector came out, but how was I to know that I had to take further steps to get power turned on?5) Two stars: The two overhead lamp fixtures were left hanging, not finished in the installation. For $4000 I should not have had to get up on the ladder and screw the fixtures in. And the main breakers were left off, but no one informed me they needed to be turned on to start power. Luckily I am somewhat aware and knew to look in the panel, but not everyone would know to do this.6) One star: After the two guys drove off I went to look at the meter and found that they had left a plastic cover off, which would have allowed rain to enter this meter that was connected to my house meter and thus it could have been a hazardous mess. I called them and they turned around and came back to put the plate on. Like I said , the devil is in the details.Overall, I think there is expertise in this company, especially with two sisters who are highly seasoned electricians. But they do not actually do the work - rather one of them came out to meet the inspector after the work was completed. The actual workers left things undone. They did not communicate as I had requested.I would use this company again because they came in with a good bid and did acceptable work. But I would recommend anyone hiring them to be vigilant.

Cullen Electric rewired my daughter’s 100 year old house. They did a fantastic job. The house had been partially rewired but much of the house had tube and knob wiring that had to be replaced. The Cullen electricians Mac and Josh brought the house up to code. They were very professional and completely finished the job on schedule and budget.

Cullen Electric is a really great company. I had utilized their services to have corrections made previous to the sale of my house. They were able to fit it in the work inside of my schedule which made the process extremely convenient. They are very reasonable and amazingly professional. The technician that came to the house was courteous and knowledgeable about the electrical problems and they fixed it in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Cullen Electric for all your electrical needs.

Had Cullen Electric at my home to do a new Electric service, recessed lighting and switches, gfci outlet and bathroom exhaust fans. They were great to work with. The crew was courteous and very transparent about what they were doing. The installation was done to a very high standard. They done an excellent job of cleaning up both days. All of my questions were answered during the job and at the completion of the job. They showed respect for my house and my family during the job as well. I would highly recommend Cullen Electric for any work for your home or business.

During the inspection phase of purchasing an Anderson Township home that was built in 1955, I asked Cullen Electric to provide an estimate of the work needed to bring the home up to code. Impressed with their thoroughness, their Google reviews, & BBB rating, I hired them to complete the work after I purchased the home. Justin & Josh arrived on time each day & were faced with some hidden surprises as they worked to replace the electric panel & all of the outlets in the home. They solved various mysteries in the funky patchwork wiring that had been done over the decades & made the necessary corrections to make the home safe. They were friendly, professional, & detailed & patient in answering questions I asked them. They even gave this out-of-towner advice on local restaurants. I will definitely contact Cullen Electric for any future electrical needs.

Overall very please with the work. Cullen did a complete rewire of a house we purchased to update it modern code and replace knob and tube. On time everyday , super polite, and went out of their accommodate all of our needs. Would definitely use again

I have been a long time customer of Cullen electric and they have always done excellent work for me. And my family. They give accurate estimates and work for a fair price. I have very poor vision so I depend heavily upon people that perform good and honest service work. Cullen electric can certainly be counted in that group. I am happy to rate them with five stars.

Working with Cullen Electric was a great experience from start to finish. The estimate was easy, thorough, and delivered quickly. They were very patient with questions and helped us fine-tune the scope. Lili and her team installed new LED lighting in multiple rooms, new outlets, a new circuit, and moved a wall switch. The crew was amazing -- they obviously care about their work and take pride in minimizing additional holes in the drywall. (Or, in our case, avoiding them altogether!) The crew was on time, easy to work with, protected the work area, and cleaned up well. Im a pretty picky person and couldnt be happier!

I chose Cullen because of its excellent reviews and I have now used them 8 times to move outlets, add outlets, install outdoor lighting, etc. They are the best! The communication is great as to when they will arrive and the work is always done efficiently. And they have the NICEST employees! I have had work done by several different people and they have all been extremely nice and easy to work with. Great service, great value and and super nice people...I would give them more stars if I could!!

I cannot sing the praises of the guys who came out to install two light fixtures for us in our two-story foyer and family room. They were professional, on time, friendly, competent and courteous. They took care of our floors by putting down a blanket, then vacuumed up afterwards to make sure the house was put back together. They even threw away the boxes light bulbs came in! Really impeccable job - I highly highly recommend their services!

Cullen electric is awesome. We have used several other electric companies that were horrible and this company was a referral from a family member so we thought we would give them a try. So happy we did. They were fast to respond and professional! And the guys that came out to do the work were great! I would recommend them to everyone!! I think we found out electrician for all our future projects!

We hired Cullen Electric to replace the Knob & Tube wiring that was throughout most of our house.We live in a two-story house with a full basement in Cheviot. It is a brick home w/ plaster walls & a poured concrete foundation. It was NOT an easy house to rewire. And yet Cullens Team (led by Lili) did an absolutely amazing job! Ive seen the results online & in-person of other companys knob & tube replacement. There are holes everywhere to fill & repairs that need to be done after the job is done. Holes are a given in this situation. But Cullen was able to keep this to an absolute minimum even at the expense of greater time spent by their installers. They are willing to use one hole & a lot of extra effort to feed multiple wires to avoid having to punch additional holes.All told Cullen cut less than 15 holes in my entire house & installed new outlets in every room, hardwired smoke/CO meters, recessed lighting in the living room, and much, much more.They are not going to be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. In chatting even with their employees you get the sense immediately that they appreciate the company. They are paid well, get health insurance, and feel like they are valued by the company. You can pay someone $20/hr to work for you...but youll get a $20/hr job done & you wont have them working for you for long because theyll be looking to move on as soon as their offered $25/hr to work somewhere else. Cullen has people working for the company for years & years which says a lot.Anyway, I will be using Cullen for any electrical needs I have in the future and would, without hesitation, use them for this install again.

Cullen Electric was the perfect team to update my knob and tube wiring, to new updated wiring. I called to schedule an estimate, and they were available the next day. Andrew, the president of the company himself came out to do my estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The very next week, his team came out to the house and after 3 days, the job was complete. Lily was the project lead and has been with the company for over 20 years. She had a team of 2 others and they were clean, professional and friendly. Lily asked my input on a few items and cared about my opinions and worked to complete my overall vision.I highly recommended their services.Alyson

One of the hardest things to do is to find a good service provider. We decided to upgrade our kitchen and found that our Old house would not accommodate newer appliances. First order was to find a good electrician to add a new plug in our kitchen for the new range that we had chosen. After reading a massive amount of reviews and just looking at the number of ads that offered electrical service I found it even more difficult to try to make a decision.I chose Cullen Electric because after reading their information numerous times I found several areas that was of interest to me. They were local. They had a nice ad but not frivolous in terms of what they offered. They were what I would consider an average sized company. (not your big box store type of deal). They offered a free estimate!! I called and made an appointment. Will arrived on time and reviewed our needs. The next morning we had a quote from Andy. It was reasonable and we accepted the quote and made an appointment to schedule the service.February-The 1st appointment was a great experience. Will called prior to their arrival. Will and Miguel arrived on time. They never stopped until the new plug for the range was installed and tested. They cleaned up after they finished their work. The most important part was that while they were here they were considerate and personable. As they moved around my home they did so with care as to not disturb anything. They made me feel comfortable with their presence. When I talked to Will he listened to what I had to say. Will is a super great person. He goes out of his way to make sure that you have what you need and to make you feel comfortable. Wills assistant Miguel was efficient and very pleasant. The cost for the service was fair.Since the first appointment we have called on Cullen Electric to provide us with service on 2 more occasions this month (March). One which was planned and required installation of 2 dedicated wall plugs to fit between our cabinets. Will and Miguel provided the service for this installation. The second one was for several plugs not working properly. Will and Max fixed those for us.I am HAPPY to say that I have found a service provider in Cullen Electric, that I can be proud to talk about and most importantly to Recommend!! They have Very nice folks working for them. They care about you and go above and beyond to take care of your needs. They are very knowledgeable and provide Quality work. They are honest and you can trust them in your home. They offer fair prices. You cannot get any better than this. We will never use another electric service provider.Sincerely,Carol D

Called Cullen electric for service mid-day yesterday. They showed up by 8am today and by 8:30ish the had the problem diagnosed and fixed the previous guy told me half my house needed rewired turns out the ground wire in one outlet was grounded out they fixed it in 30 minutes or less and saved me a ton of money. The two guys who showed up were excellent in every way. I will definitely be recommending and using them in the future. Side note shout out to webn and kidd kris for the recommendation.

They tested a newly purchased dimmer switch and determined it was faulty. The 20 minute service call was $249. Considering the cost for the work performed, I can’t justify recommending your company.

Andrew and Keith were so helpful to me in a very daunting situation that seemed to keep growing in scope. Keith helped me after hours and was reassuring of the steps that needed to be taken to fix the situiation, all the while trying to mitigate the situation for the people involved. I would definitely recommend Cullen Electric to everyone I know. Andrew was so helpful also in getting all the players in place so that the job would be quickly and efficiently repaired. After reading the other reviews, Cullen electric is truly a company that can fix all types of situations from installing can lights to re-wiring an entire home from the transformer. Cullen Electric will be my go-to electricians for all my rental properties and my home.

First was to install a new circuit for a hot tub and this time was for an upgrade for a EV charger in the garage. Both of my experiences were top notch. We got a few quotes before starting; Lili and her team are clearly the experts in the Cincinnati area for this kind of work. Cullen understood problems unique to old homes and provided creative solutions, they added new outlets and fixtures where requested, and they were communicative and friendly throughout the entire process. They recommended Shannon Hinton to help repair and paint our plaster and he has been equally fantastic.

Great experience! I reached out via their website about having 3 new ceiling fans installed (no previous wiring) and an existing fan re-wired to have wall-controlled lighting (dimmed) and fan. Andy was quick to respond with a reasonable quote and had availability within the week. Craig and Tyler showed up on time, were very professional, and did an amazing job with all four ceiling fans. In addition to working hard through their lunch, they even handled most of the noisy parts of the work before our toddler had to nap. Above and beyond for us in terms of customer service!
