I don’t often review businesses, but I had to comment on the exceptional experience I had with Deljo. My wife and I met with several companies about a furnace & AC replacement. The Deljo consultant they sent to our home took time to patiently walk us through each option and gave his recommendations. He was not pushy in any way, but gave us the information we needed to make a decision. When we made our choices, he made sure to measure each doorway and entry point to ensure that the units would be able to fit. The installation crew was just as professional. They sent plenty of hands to do the work. They were friendly, efficient, and they were so tidy that we barely knew they were there. They had to deal with some tight spaces and handled it perfectly. I couldn’t recommend these guys enough.

Gerardo, the technician who came to service our furnace was truly excellent. He replaced two parts and cleaned another. When he came out last month to perform the inspection, he aprised us of what the furnace needed and showed us pictures of the worn out parts and the readings he took that showed the parts were not functioning at 100%. Gerardo is a talented, smart and engaging technician. Deljo has been a solid company with solid employees for years. We are very happy with them.

Wesley and Victor did an outstanding job with the install. Attention to detail and quality of workmanship were 10/10. They were on time and communicative on the process and even went above and beyond by forgoing lunch on the last day so the job didn’t move into a third day. This was a very complicated install and they were upfront that it would take two days/maybe three. I got several bids and the only one I felt comfortable with was Deljo. I’d also like to give a shot out to Matthew who walked me through the entire process from start to finish—he did an excellent job and was communicative throughout the process and answered any questions I had. This was a very daunting project for someone that has owned a home for all of 3 weeks but grateful to the entire Deljo team for making this such a seamless process. I got their information from a friend and would highly recommend Deljo to anyone considering HVAC services.

Jonathan is an exceptional tech! He arrived promptly and serviced both of our furnaces (annual fall inspection) and took photos to email along with statement of work performed. He also recommended blower wheel cleaning on one furnace to be addressed during our next annual inspection in the spring. I appreciated his efficiency and thoroughness. He is also a personable young man! Very pleased.

I had been planning to replace my water heater and he gave me some quotes and was able to schedule me for next-day installation. Thank you Charlie! He was great, friendly and patient, and fully explained everything he did. We had to call a plumber in for an unexpected clog in my pipes and Jorge did a great job too. I was having problems with the heating system and Deljo sent a technician, Ivan Sierra-Mendoza. He was here for a couple of hours and went through everything that could be causing the problem. He called the manufacturer to get input. He answered all my questions and explained everything. He was thoughtful and responsive. The system now works. I highly recommend him and Deljo. Five stars.

Carlos was phenomenal. He walked me through the potential issues I was having and showed me how he was troubleshooting it. Helped me to understand my issues and the best way to fix it. We remedied my main floor heating issue. Then he proceeded to help me look into the other furnace I had and why it wasn’t working. He was a little early which I also appreciated. Absolutely recommend!

Hello friends, I would like to share my experience with Deljo Hearing and Cooling and more specifically with Sam Alasu, the technician who performed the visit services. The staff were all very professional and attentive during my interactions with them. They were caring and did a good job in helping me to agree to book an appointment. The technician, Sam, showed up at the agreed time window. He performed an assessment of my steam heating system and provided an estimate to which we agreed. I can say that everything went well. I must add that my heating system is working as it should be with the only caveat that there is a small leak from the pressure release valve as it was before my service was performed ( the leak is minimal but still noticeable as the leak is drained into a plastic bucket). I was given the assurance that this leak is normal and that it will be resolved within few days. I want to be positive and think that if needed Deljo Heating and Cooling will do right by assisting me in getting my heating system to be leak free. As I stand here in this platform I gladly recommend Deljo Heating and Cooling to all.Fj Solis

Deljo is such a great company; we used to use a different HVAC company and after many issues we made the switch to Deljo and have not looked back. Their technicians are always knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt - and everyone we know says the same thing. Today we had our furnace serviced by Charlie Bent and he was great - gave everything a thorough evaluation, replaced the humidifier filter, reviewed everything with me at the end, and confirmed we are ready for the cold weather.

Deljo is great! Good customer service, good communication, easy to schedule… We bought our HVAC from them, and they’ve also serviced our boiler. They have flexible financing options for major projects, and they even include annual maintenance depending on your agreement. They will also send reminders when maintenance should be done. I will continue to contract them for as long as I own my condo in Chicago.

Service person was timely, quick, courteous, and he explained every step. He told us what to expect and gave some options.The estimate visit was easy and fast and I chose the right unit for my home.The service installation team was also very good. Arrived right in time, started right away, got the crane for replacing the unit on the roof and cleaned up when finished. Very pleased with the install process.They did not send a final invoice for the balance once the job was finished. I was expecting to see an email or text, but instead I got the bank notice that the balance had been taken without a signature for it. So beware. I called to get them to email the invoice the next day.

I was referred to Deljo Heating & Cooling through a friend. Overall GREAT service. Mike C, the sales person, came out within an hour of me calling for service at the end of the business day. He walked me through some options after inspecting my old condenser and asking very pointed questions to understand what option would be right for me.Once I chose, they came out 8am next day to install. David M, the technician who installed the AC unit, explained the process to me as he was working- especially when he found a possible water leak in the furnace, which I promptly had investigated by the company that installed the furnace. As a first time homeowner, the fact that he was pointing out details and concerns while he was working made me really appreciate being kept in the loop of the mechanics of my investments. Thanks Deljo, youve got some great guys on your team!

Deljo as a company got someone out to do the repair and when I had questions about the alternative to fix the issue they assured me that the goal was to get it working right and eased my concerns about potentially throwing money at a solution that might not do it. In fact I already passed their info on to 3 other owners telling them to file the number away if they have an HVAC issue.

Five Million Stars ! Deljo won me over from the initial estimate to after installation follow up care with Jen. Michael C and his Irish eyes could have sold me an empty Adidas box and I would have Run like DMC miles to Niles. My Installation Crew arrived early and on time! What every Chicago lady dreams of arrived at my door, Polish pride, big muscles, South Side Irish accents, trucks and cranes, and big beards all in one day. I was lucky enough to meet Wesley, an extremely polite and kind soul with a passion for integrity and all-inclusive trips to Cancun. Bearded, blue-eyed Chris (sorry ladies, he is very much engaged ) was equally engaged on the job as he paid attention to detail and welded HVAC parts together sometimes with a fire torch. Windy haired Richard stayed up on the roof most of the day. He packed his own food and drinks and all I can say is that the A/C is on right now and Im chilling in it & feeling great with the thermostat set at 68. Today was a sunny and hot 78 degree day in November in Chicago! Deljo made spending Benjamins so much fun and made a lifelong customer out of me. First time getting my hvac replaced so I didnt know what to expect. Deljo guided me on what to look at when comparing my furnace and ac options that were appropriate for my condo and my needs.They were able to schedule my install within a few days, and it took them about 8-9 hours to remove my old units and install the new ones including a new smart thermostat. Im on the 3rd & 4th floors of a walkup building and they were able to get everything up & down the stairs - no crane or roping equipment up or down was needed.They were always professional and answered all of my questions, I would definitely recommend Deljo!

After several quotes (some flat out said no because the crane was too tricky for their operaters) Brandon provided the most professional and thorough experience.Brandon was very detailed in explaining the steps the installation would require, explained the billing point by point and answered all of our questions/concerns which was very reassuring. The installation went very smoothly, the team, like Brandon, were professional, efficient and friendly. They also followed up several days later to make sure everything was running smoothly. Also so courteous, lovely, polite and helped figure out the issue.Ended up getting my furnace through Deljo and everything went so smoothly. From the very beginning, my whole experience with Deljo was so positive. Dave, the service techinician, was so articulate and honest diagnosing problems we were having with a 20 year old furnace. Matthew, the sales person, besides being an incredible human being, explained very well new furnace options with absolutely no pressure. Richard and Kevin installed our new furnace efficiently and were very friendly. Everyone of them had excellent people skills. I could sense that they really cared about me as a person. It was not just a job to them. I felt they interacted with me with honesty and integrity. I felt I could trust them. Given the negative experience I have had in the past, with two other heating and cooling companies, I would rate Deljo with a 5++++! I am still in awe with the whole very positive experience I had with Deljo! Customer satisfaction and excellence really do matter to this company!

The original window was from 3 PM to 6 PM, but Cesar called around 830AM saying they had some cancellations and could come by immediately. Thank you to Jesús and Richard for their great service: immediately halting the leak and then replacing with a new unit. Great to have all services within one company – heating, AC and now plumbing!

The team from Deljo was fantastic! From the original reach out regarding AC unit options, to install, everything went smooth! The took their time to make sure everything was done right the first time. I will absolutely work with Deljo again and would recommend them to anyone with heating and cooling needs.Just had David from Deljo out for maintenance on our unit. He did an excellent job finding the source of the issue and getting the fix done quickly!

David C. from DELJO was my angel on one of the coldest days of 2024 with a windchill -20 and the boiler not turning on. I called 9 heating companies and no one ever called back. David answered with 15 minutes and came for an emergency call at 10pm on a Sunday night. All my heating emergencies in the past also happen at times this late on a weekend! I was impressed with his professionalism, honesty, thoroughness, and HIM. Ive had many heating places comes in the past several decades and Id never want to bring any of them back! I tell everyone my story about how David C was my savior on that freezing winter night without heat. Great way to run a business DELJO. Keep up the good work!

I reached out initially to Deljo for an estimate on replacing my two AC units (both old, one which had acted up last summer). Following a professional on-site consultation with and subsequent super-quick estimate from Deljo’s representative, Jim Carney, I decided to have them replace my dated heating units as well. The Deljo crew (Juan, Carlos E, DJ, Kevin and Sean) showed up promptly at 7:30 am and worked professionally and diligently throughout the day to have everything installed by 5 pm. Before leaving, they showed me how to work the new units and described what they had installed and why. Moreover, Deljo helped with financing. It was a seamless experience from beginning to end and I wholly recommend Deljo.

For my AC installation, we had to involve a crane to remove the old unit and install the new one, which I dreaded, but that part of the process was easy breezy! Michael provided exceptional sales service as well, explained the options thoroughly, and was friendly and respectful. I was dreading having to figure out a new AC and furnace, but this crew made the process actually pleasant.
