Marco visited our building, assessed the problem, and installed two new Bradford hot water heaters. He changed the way the hot waters were plumbed from one feeding into the other (series) to both of the new heaters simultaneously feeding the building (parallel).He did beautiful work with crimped connections, it really is almost like piece of art and incredibly he and his assistant did all the work in one day (including removing the old water heaters and buying the new ones).If youre looking for top-quality plumbing at highly competitive prices then you want Marco from Apex plumbing.

I’ve been working with Chuck and his team at Apex since 2019 and they are the most knowledgeable, competent, professional, reliable and fair plumbers I have ever hired. I first hired Chuck when I was president of a condominium association with a complicated sewer issue that I asked him to assess. Several other well known plumbing companies had previously either been unable to properly address the issue or proposed astronomically costly and destructive solutions. Chuck was immediately familiar with the type of situation and proposed a very reasonable long term solution. From that point forward, Apex became our association’s plumbers for everything from main water line maintenance, connected plumbing, as well as work in individual units. When my family moved to a single family home last year, Chuck himself came to the home inspection to make sure the plumbing on the 100 year old home was in proper order. Over the last year, the Apex team has been out a couple of times for routine things like clogged drains and maintenance. But, no matter how big or small the job is, they are just as responsive and thorough. And, as if allof those qualifications aren’t enough, the entire team is just a group of really nice people! As long as I own a home in Chicago, Apex will be my plumber of choice!

Double review! Ive hired Apex a second time before I had a chance to write the first review.We had Brandon out to get our water heater in our new home up to code. Brandon was fast with his work, friendly, and easy to deal with.A couple weeks later we had Marco out to work on a low pressure shower and a clogged basement sink. Marco got the shower done pretty quick and tried his best to get our sink worked out but it quickly became clear our elderly galvanized pipes would have to be replaced. So, the shower is fixed but we had to delay the other project a little while just to space out how much were spending. Marco gave is an estimate before he left. Well be hiring them again to come back and fix our pipes soon.

Aiden and Chuck just did a water valve replacement & pipe repair on our condo assoc main water valve. They came within 45 minutes of us calling them to quote us, and were able to accommodate next day service to repair & replace our water valve that wasnt turning off. What we paid was exactly what they quoted us, we felt they were honest with the work needed to be done and did not charge for anything we didnt really needed done - unlike some other companies who quoted us. Great as always! My building and myself use apex whenever we have plumbing issues. Needed to work on my outdoor spigot but found out we had no shutoff for it. Called them on Friday afternoon and they had someone for us on Monday (would have gotten sooner but it wasnt an emergency). Marco was very professional and knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose and put in a shutoff in less than an hour.

Apex Plumbing helped us out when we needed an emergency water heater replacement this winter. They talked us through our options, provided recommendations, and thoroughly answered all our questions so that we were able to make an informed decision on which heater to go with. They did what other plumbers said couldnt be done, fitting our desired water heater in a tight utility closet. Apex was also the least expensive of three plumbers that provided quotes. Chas and Colton did a great job on the installation, and the other members of the Apex team that we talked with throughout the process were helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience with Brandon and Aidoun (sp).Brandon diagnosed our problem within minutes of arriving.Our ejector pump went bad so nothing on our basement level (bathroom, shower, utility sinks, washer/dryer outlet) was going out to the sewer. You can only image the smell and look on my face when I tried to use a plunger thinking I had a clogged toilet.These guys calmed my anxiety and replaced the old pump probably within an hour. It was quick and they walked me through the entire process.The emergency repair was expensive but well worth the cost. Today we woke up to a fresh smelling “Mancave” as if nothing had ever happened. I highly recommend this place for any of your plumbing needs.The staff is very friendly a responsive in the app. My first time using Google for this and really like the integration.

I heard water gushing down beneath the kitchen sink as I was washing some dishes and I immediately knew our garbage disposal had met its demise. We called Apex and they were able to schedule someone to come out the next morning. Marco came and confirmed that the garbage disposal needed to be replaced. Marco immediately got to work and as he did walked me to through the installation process step by step in the event I had to troubleshoot any potential issues with the disposal in the future. I was super excited to have a new dishwasher installed today, only to find they refused to complete the install because the water shut off valve to the dishwasher wasn’t working properly. They told me to notify them when it was fixed so they could reschedule.I saw Apex’s positive reviews and decided to give them a call for this relatively small job. The first person to answer was very kind, and told me the team would be in touch soon. Not even 20 minutes later I was on the phone with their dispatch team being told someone would be on site same day, in the next 5 or so hours. I got a call from Jon less than an hour later. Everyone I spoke to was positive and professional.Service was excellent, prompt, and the team was willing to double check all the valves in my condo just to be sure the dishwasher was the only one needing to be replaced as a part of their complimentary estimate. While it may have cost less to get the part and give the replacement a go on our own, but having the job done right, done well, and done quickly was totally worth it. I’d use these guys again in a heartbeat!

Weve used Apex unfortunately a few times now. The first few were for basement flooding that led to drain repair on the citys side of things. They were incredibly responsive and informed. They handled all of the contracts and permits and city delegations. And now it was for a burst pipe. They were here 30 minutes after we called. The plumber John was fast, personable, and thorough. We hired Apex to review a problem in our condo-owner-managed, historic, three flat! We had originally thought it was our sump but subsequently figured out it was actually a break in our sewer line! This was a very scary issue for us and Apex kept us informed and on an expeditious schedule the entire time. They worked with us to rod out, jet, camera and ultimately find a break in our main sewer line, where it meets the Citys in the street. They helped guide us through the Citys PDP process and coordinated the Citys review and acceptance of our condo building in the PDP Program. All the guys (Chas, Aiden, someone else Im forgetting- Im sorry!) were helpful, responsive, professional and answered all my questions. They ultimately left me, and our condo owners, with a better understanding and knowledge of our historic condos plumbing and gave us a few tips along the way! Thanks guys! Highly recommend!

Had a blockage in my 4 unit rental. Came out on a Saturday and rodded. Then suggested catch basin should be cleared out. Scheduled that and had a truck clear it out following week. He seemed like he really knew the art of plumbing. Very straightforward. Not cheap but fair. Month later water coming up through my sump pump at my own house. I flipped breaker and texted him. Water started receding. He said it was probably toilet paper and that breaker probably fixed it. Nice guy!

We had just moved to a new home and the garbage disposal was not functioning. The sink was backing up and there was a bunches of dishes, pots and pans that needed to be washed before being put away. I called Apex, told them my problem and three hours later Chas, the owner’s son, showed up. Chas fixed it and explained the disposal had been seized by rust or jammed. He quickly taught me how to fix it if it happened again and left a Allen wrench-like key for me to do so. Great service and attitude! We use these guys for everything and would absolutely recommend you do as well.

I called Chaz originally because a different plumber told me we had a collapsed sewage pipe that needed to be replaced and I wanted a second opinion. I described the situation to him and he said it seemed odd the first plumber came to this conclusion without hydro jetting the line and running a camera. Chaz and team came out very quickly and worked the problem and discovered there was an obstruction in the pipe and were able to flush it out to the main sewage line. Chaz’s knowledge and willingness to troubleshoot the issue helped us correctly identify the issue, resolve it and save thousands of dollars by not performing unnecessary work. They were super responsive, knowledgeable, professional and fair. I highly recommend!
