    I had a geothermal unit failure and needed help! I contacted Vitt for an estimate and they were quick, professional, and had a unit in-stock as opposed to other companies that had months-out lead times.     Professional, communicative, friendly, punctual with expertise behind all of that! Vitt installed a new HVAC for my home recently and I have nothing but good things to say about everyone who makes it happen there! Technician Cole performed annual AC checkup and he was a pleasure. He is obviously happy working for Vitt, showing an effortless smile as we spoke. For a younger person, this is anymore rare. Im so pleased with the new equipment, their recommendation for system size and the people who installed it; everything theyve demonstrated is good! Simply put.

    Amazing company. Great communication and great installation team. Very easy to work with and good explaining what they are doing and how things work. To be honest the work sites were cleaner after they left then before. I will be honest, I got bids for a complete HVAC system with add ons from 5 different companies. I ended up going with Vitt due to there response to my questions, options and pricing. The fact that the sales Rep was at the hospital after his wife had just given birth to their son and he answered the phone was above and beyond and reflects on the service in general that I got from them. Will recommend to anyone that will ask me in the nears future.

    I always receive great service and a fair price from Vitt, and today was no exception. Eric the service tech was very knowledgeable and provided a great explanation of the issue he found. Furthermore, he was able to merely clean off a dirty part to fix the issue instead of just replacing the part, as many other companies would do, which saved me some money on the repair bill. I highly recommend you give Vitt a call next time you need service. You wont be disappointed.

    Colin, the service repair man was wonderful patient kind explained everything and very thorough. Mike only complaint is that I got charged an additional $56 for him to change the air filter that was sitting right next to the unit. I could have done that myself in two seconds. I spent a lot of money with keeping the service plan that is offered by you guys and, having the additional system put in was costly and I would expect that some simple thing like that would not be charged especially when I had my own filter that was used to replace it.

    Cole was an excellent technician. We received a faulty part (no fault of Vittā€™s) and they quickly reordered. The office staff, Carly and Dylan, were responsive and friendly. Plus they call when on the way and send real time email updates with photos of the technician sent to provide the service.

    I found this company on Angieā€™s List and Iā€™ve had pretty good luck with finding reputable companies. They were the first to respond to my call and were able to come out the same day, which was a very cold Sunday. The technician let me know when he was near my home. He was knowledgeable and professional. He was able to fix my furnace efficiently. Now Iā€™m nice and toasty! I would definitely recommend Vitt Heating and Cooling.

    We like how quickly Vitt gets a tech to us if thereā€™s ever an issue. Recently our carrier thermostat was fried by a power surge. A tech came out the day we called. The thermostat was replaced under warranty. They got it replaced the next day. Colin was professional and friendly. We were happy with the service and the resolution to our issue.

    At first I read reviews on Yelp and hesitated to give this company a chance. However, I live practically next door and from the friendly interactions Iā€™ve had with them for years those reviews didnā€™t make sense. I do NOT regret it! Not only was Cole friendly, cheerful, and polite, but he was very informative and upfront about issues and my concerns with my furnace. From first contact with Vitt to the end of the transaction, Vitt has earned my long term business and I will be recommended them to all my friends and family in the area.     Cole came over on a Saturday early afternoon to assist with my AC because the fan wasnā€™t blowing. Iā€™m not great with AC stuff so after a failed attempt at trying to resolve it on my own, replacing with a new thermostat, and installing a new fuse for the one the blew, I decided to give Vitt a call. I have a platinum membership and I am so glad I have that because not only was the service call a priority to me, they made sure it was a priority to them as well. Cole was extremely kind and informative and was just as excited as we were when the AC corrections he made the fan kick on ā˜ŗļø thank you Vitt for helping me to take care of my familyā€™s and pets needs for a cool home environment! I wouldnā€™t trust anyone else with my HVAC needs!!

    I have had four different technicians from different companies look into the challenges I was having with my air-conditioning system. In addition I had another big-name local company handle the annual maintenance on my system, all of which were unsuccessful in maintaining the equipment and also diagnosing and correcting the problems That were occurring. After one call to Vitt, expecting them to tell me I needed to add a larger unit because of my house size or even an additional unit, of which I was prepared to do so. After I explained the challenges I was having they not only sent out a representative but they also had the owner of the company come out to review what could possibly be happening. After that visit a maintenance technician was scheduled to evaluate and once again clean the equipment the next day. They showed up, cleaned the equipment thoroughly tested all the outputs before and after their maintenance, identified some failures and corrected them on the spots with parts they had available in their truck. Currently the system is working and blowing out air thatā€™s almost 15 to 20Ā° colder than what was happening when they arrived and the system wasnā€™t working properly. I am very hopeful that the house will cool down and maintain, based on what I have seen so far as the results from the technicians work. So far I am very pleased with the overall responsiveness, value, and professionalism shown by everyone I have encountered at Vitt to this point. Because of my high degree of confidence, I have already canceled my previous maintenance agreement with a large local company, and signed up on the spot with an annual maintenance agreement with them, and look forward to working with them. My technician was also outstanding, Answering all of my questions, no matter how ridiculous, and not leaving any stone unturned in an effort to find the root cause of the AC issue. I was very impressed that the owner of the company took their time to come out themselves to initially check on the issues I was having. I look forward to working with Vitt in the future, not only on my main house but the other five properties that I own. They will be my go to company!

    I was very happy they could come out right away to look at my furnace as it was one of the coldest days we have had so far he was very professional and for the work he did he was efficiently getting it done. My only complaint is the outrageous mark up on the parts. As i could have ordered them on Amazon for about 100 bucks and saved a few hundred dollars but its the service and Convince you really pay for but I was back up and running with in 4 hours of my call to vitt.     Great company. The installed a whole new system 2 years ago and now maintain it. No complaints there.They could get a little better on clean up. They did leave some screws and metal bit on the floor after inside unit install. Was hallway to get threw my home. No one stepped on a anything though. During the spring check up and cleaning mud and gunck cleaned from the unit was left on my balcony which doesnt get much rain so had to scrub it off. When they could have just rinse when finished. Its a second story baloney so hose access is not easy.

    After speaking with three HVAC contractors in 2022, I selected Vitt Heating and Cooling (Vitt) for replacement of my HVAC system. The bid was competitive and the work was completed quickly and professionally. The system, both heating and cooling, worked well for nearly two years, but during a recent, brief period of hot weather, it became clear that it was no longer cooling. I contacted Vitt and was able to get an appointment to check the system for a time about a week out.The technician that conducted the initial assessment arrived on time, introduced himself, and quickly got to work. He performed the late-spring servicing and diagnostics and determined that the system had lost its refrigerant. He advised that another technician would follow up the next day to locate and repair the leak and recharge the system. Later in the day, a Vitt supervisor called and explained that if it were determined that the leak was the result of faulty work at the time of installation in 2022, the company would repair and recharge the system at no cost, and that if the leak were determined to be an equipment problem the matter would be taken to the manufacturer under the manufacturerā€™s warranty. He explained that in such a case the manufacturerā€™s warranty would not include labor, but that Vitt would advocate on my behalf for coverage of those costs due to the recency of the installation. I found Vittā€™s position on the matter to be very fair.The following day, two Vitt technicians arrived as scheduled and explained in detail what their work would entail. After a couple of hours of work they explained that, despite a thorough check of the system, they were unable to find a leak. They recharged the system at no charge and asked me to contact the company if I experienced any additional problems.While Vitt was ultimately unable to determine how the system had lost its refrigerant, I was happy with the companyā€™s response to the matter. Vitt addressed the matter in a timely way, and, though outside of the companyā€™s warranty period, recharged the system at its own cost. I would highly recommend Vitt as a company that performs quality work, responds to customer concerns, and most importantly, stands by its work.

    Dear Mr. Jeffrey Vitt:I want to commend three of your technicians; Nick Meyer, Eric Schmitt and Keegan for their professional/expert knowledge and service they executed recently in installing a new hot water heater which replaced our very old unit that was over 30 years of age.They went above and beyond in their performance. Their quick thinking in anticipating a flooding problem because of the age of our previous unit saved many valuable items we are storing temporarily in our basement. They acted quickly in draining our old unit, 40 gallons of water, then getting a wet vac and dehumidifier.I was working and never met these gentlemen however my wife, Denise, said that they were kind and knowledgeable on what to do it this situation.I called your office that morning and spoke with Colbert. He quoted me the price and provided me with info on the unit.     My issue started 1 year ago. Major condensation on air ducts I contacted a highly rated HVAC company for help. They came out took notes and told me they would add my problem to their stack and get back to me. They never did. This year the problem was worse. Contracted another highly rated HVAC company. They came out and recommended wrapping the air ducts. The guru for the company would come out give me an estimate. First appointment he never showed up. Second appointment he went to wrong house and told me he was to busy to mess around.Now I find Vitt and boy was I lucky. They came out assessed the situation, have their guru out immediately to provideestimate/solutions and then scheduled the work needed.The technicians and service staff are amazing,caring and awesome professionals. What a wonderful company.

    This is the 2nd time I have used Vitt and both times we have been so extremely happy with absolutely everything! Today it was the central air putting out warm air - I called this morning before 8:00, Cole came by about 10 AM, he replaced the capacitor, monitored refrigerant pressure which was good and was gone by 11:30 .... And my house is super cool again!In November we had to have the furnace replaced and, again the service was extraordinary. The inspection/diagnostic on one day and installation complete the next day... right before the coldest days of winter hit! Everyone working there who has come here so far have been so friendly and professional. My highest recommendation for VITT !

I called about my AC breaking after hours & Hasan was able to come over within the hour to assess the damage. He advised that the since it was afterhours, he couldnt get the replacement part till the morning. Thats completely understandable since it was late and their warehouse was already closed. But, Hasan returned the next day as soon as possible and was able to quickly repair the unit. Kevin was also very knowledgeable & professional.Also, Amandas customer service on the phone is exceptional.     We had to have an entire new system installed in our house! They did it all in one day with a system that we are familiar with! They did it at a great price and so far it is working like a champ! Our old HVAC was so bad, we were told not to use it because it was a fire hazard by 2 separate and unrelated companies.We were using our wood burning furnace in the basement for heat this winter which, as reliable as it was, it was very hard to actually control the temperature in the house. The furnace room that it was in was over 100Ā° and it did not maintain a steady temperature. It would be 25Ā° outside and 87Ā° in our house. Now we will only need it for supplemental heat, if we use it at all.We always used Jerry Kelly but in our new home, we are out of their service area. We had a few different bids and Vitt fit the bill perfectly installing a very similar system to the one we previously had from Jerry Kelly.Reliable companies have been very hard to find in Jefferson county, I am so glad we were able to use them and they did so awesome.I am a real customer and we live in DeSoto, Missouri.     I recently had my HVAC system replaced by Vitt, and the initial installation was bungled somewhat (main floor HVAC unit non-operational and scrubber installed incorrectly and non-operational) as I discovered right after the technicians left. However, Colin who came out after the initial crew to troubleshoot was extremely helpful, answering all of my questions in detail, explaining exactly what he was doing to repair the problem, and very thorough making sure that he tested the system and it was in full working order before he left. If only the technicians who first installed the units were as diligent, I wouldnā€™t have had to wait an extra 2 hours for my system to be fully operational.

    Great, reliable, affordable. Had an AC unit leaking water on a Saturday. Called and same day a tech (Dillon) came out and fixed. Very professional and showed me exactly what he found and how we was going to fix. Would absolutely use again.

    Vitt is a great company. They installed a new furnace and AC in my house and the whole process went so smooth, starting with the estimates. They explained the different options and answered any question . The installation started as scheduled, they left the working area super clean and again answered all my questions .     While I was changing my air conditioner filters, one got stuck at an odd angle. As I pulled it free, I thought I saw a wire pop out. I looked at the jumbled mess of wires and thought that I imagined it. Then I put the covers back on and turned on the air conditioner. Warm air blowing through the ducts. I could not tell what wire went where so I called Vitt on a Friday night and a technician was there in less than an hour. Sure enough, I pulled out a wire. He got the air blowing cold in less than 30 minutes. Not sure what others would have changed for after hours service. $270 is what I paid. Donā€™t want to have to do this often but glad they do 24 hour service.

    My a/c went out, I thought it was the thermostat so I replaced batteries then replaced the thermostat, no luck, so I called Vitt after hours. First he tried to troubleshoot me over the phone, really appreciated the attempt to save me money if it was something simple. It wasnā€™t - it was a fuse inside the furnace that I couldnā€™t get at without the right tools. He was quick and efficient and friendly, couldnā€™t ask for better service. Thank you again!
