Jeff at Thompson Construction has handled two home projects for us in the past 18 months. He and his team have been absolutely wonderful to work with, and completed both projects under budget. Highly recommend!

After receiving bids from other well-recommended contractors, we chose Thompson for our project, which included the construction of a screened porch and adjacent concrete patio for a recently completed villa home in Crozet. After years of experience with residential contractors, we were attentive to various issues of importance: timeliness, quality, price, and customer relations.Thompson Construction was a wise choice for the following reasons. Admininistration was handled promptly, without unnecessary paperwork. Billing was prompt and accurate. The bid was competitive, and the quoted price was the final price, with the exception of a small change which was owner-initiated. The quality level was extremely satisfactory, and was achieved even when that required extra work hours by the crew.Jeff Thompson participated personally as needed, and his office and field staff were available to answer questions and provide guidance. The end result was a project which exceeded our expectations, and we endorse Thompson Construction as a reliable and ethical contractor.

Our dream was to build a home on our family farm. Jeff made that dream a reality, building us a home that accentuates beautiful mountain and valley views. He used quality materials while at the same time knew we were working with a budget so there was no excess or waste of supplies. Always responsive by phone or email. His employees were at work as directed and on time.One of the most impressive attributes is his professionalism towards the customer. Jeff displays a “can do” attitude and continues to be available if we need him. I would highly recommend him to be a contractor for any job, large or small.
