    Dawson and Rudy did a fantastic job. They helped us hang two chandeliers and a new ceiling fan. We were impressed with the level of care they took making sure everything was done just right. Transparent pricing. Group arrives when they say they will and text you when they are on their way so you know when to expect them. We will definitely hire this group for our future electrical needs.

    We had a tree VS power line experience and the tree won, causing damage to the riser pole at our home. We needed a licensed electrician in order to get our power restored. Robert McNally responded to my urgent request and worked diligently from the beginning. Ryan S arrived before dawn on Monday to access the damage. He worked steadily, doing a great job and had the repair completed before noon. What a team! They treated us like family, working hard to get our power restored. Duke Energy is another story. But the team at GB Electrical Services is now on my go to list for any future needs. Thank you for all you did to help us.

    I definitely recommend this company. I have recently started working with them and am very satisfied with their work. Matt has been able to save a chandelier and fix a dangerous wiring mistake made by a different company. He also installed a light fixture in a room without a light with only one small cut into the drywall. Other companies had said they were going to have to do big cuts into the ceiling. I trust the work these guys do. They are very thorough, professional, and clean up after they are done. Better than my kids! 🙂

    Quick, professional and complete service! Ive struggled with a wiring issue in a renovation Ive been working on. After 6 failed attempts to get an electrician, I found GB Electrical and had my problems solved 24 hours after calling! Dawson did a great job and was very professional and clean!

    I needed some electrical repairs and upgrades done to my home, and chose GB to do it. The electrician, and the gentleman that took my call was very polite and knowledgeable and I was very happy with the service. They also showed up immediately after I contacted them, despite my issues not being an emergency. I cant say if their prices were reasonable as I didnt comp shop prior to calling, but I would definitely recommend GB Electrical Services.

    GB Electrical went above and beyond and did a great job in an unusual circumstance. I have been rehabbing an older vintage camper and was not happy to learn most of the camper repair shops around here do not use licensed electricians for their work (for example, Quality RV in Belmont refused every request I made to talk to the electrician and instead told me to come find a guy in the garage). If my family is staying in a small metal box hooked up to a 30 AMP or 50 AMP power source I want confidence it was wired right and not wired by whichever helper was in the garage that day. So I called GB Electrical. They came out promptly and in one day did a good job adding a 50 AMP service, power inlet, and two outlets. I plan to use GB as my electrician moving forward.

    GB was very pleasant to work with. They had come as a referral of a fellow business owner. I had a station at my salon that lost power, and they were able to send out someone next day. Ed was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about pricing. He was able to resolve the issue quickly and luckily it was a relatively simple fix.

    Luke and Radcliffe came this morning and replaced my kitchen light fixture that has been out for years because I just thought I couldn’t afford to do it. I allowed myself to think that way and then Covid hit and I wouldn’t allow anybody in my house, but they came and fixed it in about 20 minutes. it is so helpful having a full use of your house and lighting especially if your makeshift Office is adjacent to the kitchen, lol. I dropped a few happy tears and then when they left, I dropped a few more, lol. They were so nice and so professional. Even Ed that came before them to do the estimate and take a look and see exactly what I needed was nice and professional. He walked me through ordering the right light fixture online and everything. It looks amazing in here. It was such a great experience working with them. I look forward to working with them again in the near future for my other electrical needs.

    These folks are extremely responsive! Great customer service! Our technician Dawson worked hard to complete our job in short order. If there is a negative it’s the cost. They were installing a flush mount light- their cost $300 vs Lowes $21. They installed a box for light for $40 That light cost $10 at Lowes. Satisfied with work just not so much the cost.

    Ryan was the technician that came to our home today. He was very courteous and spent hours carefully chasing down a burned wire in our crawl space. Our garage circuit kept tripping and Ryan did a full diagnostic that produced the faulty wire in the crawl space.     GB is a very professional electrical company. They have highly trained technicians that are passionate about what they do. They listen to the customers concerns and try their best to satisfy them. We have an older home that requires more attention due to the old panel box and wiring. They came out yesterday and couldn’t figure things out and called the owner and he suggested that they come out today and didn’t charge us until they find a solution. Well they did! We are very pleased and happy with the outcome. Ryan Luke and AJ were pleasant from the beginning to the end and didn’t show any frustration even when they couldn’t figure things out initially.     We had an emergency from a downed tree that took out our service mast and meter box, and ripped them down off the house. After a quick phone call to the office, Lisa had a crew to me within an hour of our conversation. They were finished before Duke Power even had the power lines restored, as both crews worked efficiently, and as quick as they could with rain coming down. So thankful to have GB Electrical in my phone for my remodeling business needs, and now I can put a check next to my personal needs as well! GB came to my familys aid very quickly when a tree fell and destroyed my riser and breakers and breaker box. They also keep a log and pictures so I can keep it for insurance purposes.     I really cant say enough good things about my 2nd experience with GB Electrical Services and their technicians Matt and Dalton. They came to my house this week to install the electrical equipment needed for the safe operation of my on site generator. They arrived on time, both men were professional and friendly. They were very thorough and carefully explained everything that they were doing as well as a detailed plan on what I needed to do to safely operate the generator in the event of a power outage. Matt even took time to fix a piece of siding above my electrical panel that had moved somehow over time. The level of service and detail from both electricians was just outstanding and I would highly recommend this company and both of these employees for any of your homes electrical needs!

    In the Mint Hill - Matthews area there is no better electrician! Our smoke detectors were intermittently going off for no reason. GB promptly responded to our call and sent Matt.     Very professional and knowledgeable. Had storm damage to electrical line to house. Lonny came out within a few hours, did assessment, estimate, and started on repairs until Matthew arrived.     Lisa at GB Electric saved us a bunch of time and money. First, we didn’t hire BG because we didn’t have to. I’d already talked to five other electricians before contacting GB. No one could help same day with a reasonable dispatch fee (the one who could was like $360 just to show up without any other work). Lisa listened to the problem and suggested we call Duke Power and ask them to check the “legs” of the power coming into our house. We called, Duke pinged our address and determined we were getting only half power. They sent someone out and it was fixed same day. Lisa saved us the GB $169 dispatch fee. She was knowledgeable, HONEST, and easy going. 10/10 will hire GB and Lisa if I need electric service. Very impressed.

They were fast and completed the job in same day that was expected to take a couple of days! Kept our project on schedule! They were the only ones that could do Same Day Service in Charlotte, NC and didn’t try to charge us an arm and leg for the emergency service.     I needed them to come look at an issue where I didnt have enough wire length to replace doorbell as some wire had snapped off when removing the old doorbell. They responded to my request promptly and looked at my problem in the next day.The electricians that came were professional.     I would give this company 10 stars if I could. We blew two circuits right before an important appointment and a friend told us it would be dangerous to wait to fix this. Upon a recommendation from this same friend, we called GB Electrical. Dawson, the company representative, was at our house within 30 minutes after we called the company. This is the first thing that impressed us! Then, Dawson promptly, professionally, and courteously explained their pricing and began accessing our problem. He fixed it quickly! During this time, my husband had to leave for the appointment. Although Dawson had a few more things to do to complete the inspection, he knew I was in a hurry to leave. He then asked if he could return in a day or two to complete the inspection so that I could leave and try to make the appointment on time. I could not believe that this young man went above and beyond the call of duty just to accommodate me this extremely important meeting. This absolutely sealed the deal. It showed the company cared about my family and was willing to help us in a tight spot. We signed up for a monthly service contract and I was assured that Dawson would be the one who comes to our house every time when possible. We found Dawson to be professional, knowledgeable, friendly and most of all sensitive and compassionate. We will always use this company in the future and will recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done.     Im so glad we called GB Electrical Services for an electrical issue regarding our dishwasher. Jay Smith was our technician, and he went above and beyond with his customer service. He was prompt, let me know when he was on the way, took precautions (wore a mask and foot covers the whole time), and was excellent at his job. He knew what the issue was right away, went over costs before doing any work, and made sure we were in agreement with his plan before executing it. Jay even helped with a canned light and answered multiple questions from my husband. He took his time, and made sure we knew what he did and why he did it. He also grounded our wires for safety and made us aware of an issue with our control panel. It was evident that Jay actually cared about us as a customer, and we would definitely use him again in the future!     I was really impressed with GB. They sent an electrician out the next day to inspect and write a quote to rewire the circuit for our electric cooktop. Needed to be upgraded from 30 to 50 amps. Juan was professional, and he and his colleague completed the upgrade a couple of days later. Did not take them very long and they minimized the number of holes they cut out for access.     A tree fell on our power line, pulling the power meter box away from the wall and all the wiring. We were in a tricky situation (having a 95 year old under hospice care here at the house), GB electrical was fantastic!
