    Another 5-star review, well deserved I might add... Rich came out this morning, diagnosed the problem, and saw another two in the same area that were coming soon. Gave me a price, I accepted and 3 hours later the reason I called was fixed and the other 2 festering issues were taken care of too. Good honest guy not out to get us to buy him a ticket for a trip on SpaceX... Reasonable and very knowledgeable. Thanks!

    Needed a water heater replaced but had time to research. I called 6 plumbing companies! Im so glad I found Rich. He came recommended and I can see why. He is so responsive! He took the time to talk about my situation. He educated me on water heaters, thier maintenance, and he didnt scoff or get defensive with my questions (as some of the other companies I contacted had done). I immediately knew after my call that I wanted to work with American Plumbing. They were the most affordable out the 6 others I called!I scheduled the appointment for today. They arrived when they said they would. After the install, he explained how to maintain the water heater and even took time to address other plumbing concerns I had. He answered my texts promptly and courteously.I intend to use American Plumbing for future plumbing needs and would highly recommend them!

    We now have fantastic hot showers thanks to Rich T, the owner of American Plumbing & Rooter. Last week we requested a quote for a new water tank as our current one was leaking. Rich T was very responsive and within minutes he engaged us in conversation and provided a fair price quote for the job that included everything we needed, no surprises when it came to pay. I definitely recommend contacting Rich T if you are in need of any professional & experienced plumbing service. We contacted four plumbing businesses and he gave the most reasonable price for what we wanted and was flexible with the date and time of service when his technician Kevin completed the service. Overall 5+++ stars

    I recently bought a new house and the water systems needed an upgrade. I called American Plumbing and Rich answered. He answered all my questions and educated me on what I had now vs. what he recommended. He gave me a price over the phone with no run around. He arrived on time and did the work quickly and professionally. He even took the time to kid-proof the pipes in the garage. The price was exactly what he said and payment was easily made on his IPad with my credit card and received the invoice right away via email. I will definitely be using AP again in the future for other projects.

    I discovered a water leak just off the water meter on the main line towards my house. I contacted Rich and we exchanged a few pictures and description. One company came out and wanted to jump directly to an expensive replacement, but after the conversation Id had with Rich, I wanted to get a quote from him. He came out the next day and inspected it and based on the location, he recommended a spot repair rather than a line replacement, which means that it was not work that he normally does. He recommended a company who knew him and they sent someone out that same afternoon and they agreed with Richs diagnosis and performed the spot repair for 10% of the first companys quote. Rich even followed up with me to ensure I was getting my issues addressed . . . on a job that was not what his team does daily. I cannot say enough how much I appreciated the honesty and professionalism and care to make sure I got water back onto my house very quickly. If youre looking for a plumber, you will not find a better choice than American Plumbing and Rooter.

    We had a leaking sink supply valve. I called Rich, based on their excellent reviews, and he said he would text later with a day and time, and he did just that. Exactly when promised, Kevin showed up and made quick work of both the valves. Kevin is professional and works quickly. Ive not had plumbing work done since the governments crazy over-spending spree (higher inflation) so I dont have a current comparison, but if guessing, Id say their pricing is fair.

    Needed to replace an unusual style of gas water heater and I called two companies- Company A and American Plumbing and Rooter.Company A had way more google reviews and what appears to be a large marketing budget and a lot of employees. They came out quickly and gave me a really high quote and immediately pressured me to both give them a good review and to follow through with the very expensive work.I then called American Plumbing and Rooter for a 2nd opinion. Rich was really easy to deal with and literally saved me thousands of dollars on the repair. I might have a plumber for life now. Thanks, Rich.

    I contacted American Plumbing because of some damage done to a pipe by the town when they came to swap out my water meter. From the very beginning I was impressed with Rich’s communication with me. He took the time to listen to what happened, asked for pictures and was able to help guide me in my response to the town for my claim and approval. Once I received approval for the work, I contacted Rick. He got back to me quickly and was able to have a repair man out within a few days. Kevin arrived Monday on time and ready to work. After looking at the repair more a weird pipe was discovered so Kevin contacted me about the pipe and walked me through next steps. He then called Rich who came out to also look at the pipe. Both Kevin and Rich were very professional and honest of their assessment and next steps. We decided to hold off on the repair and we would do some more digging to see what we were working with. Once the hole was dug, I sent Rich pictures and once again we were ready to move forward. Kevin was back out a few days later to complete the repair. Same thing as before, arrived on time and was very professional. Throughout the entire process both Kevin and Rich took the time to speak with me about the issue, our potential options, and the repair itself. I am very happy with the work done and the level of service we received. I grabbed a few cards and will recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. 5 stars all the way!!

    I had American Plumbing and Rooter install my water softener in 2022. I had some loud banging sounds in my house that I thought were coming from the water softener. I called AP&R to come out and take a look and instead of doing that and charging me the fee, he diagnosed over the phone that the issue was with the irrigation and not the water softener. He saved me money and time in getting the issue resolved quicker without charging me a dime. And he was right! After replacing the timer for the irrigation, the banging has stopped.

    Thoroughly satisfied customer.I found American Plumbing through Yelp and am sure glad I did. Rich (owner) was easy to work with and delivered as promised.Rich responded to my Yelp inquiry fast. Was able to text him pictures of the water softener which needed to be replaced and explain what I was looking for. Rich proposed a solution which met my needs at a reasonable price and we agreed to move forward.Kevin, the technician assigned to my job, was on time and very professional.     Rich and his team are amazing to work with. I had a new water heater and whole house water softener put in last year. They did an excellent job. Everything has been working great. He diagnosed some other issues we should look at and charges a fair price for his work.Almost a year later I had an issue (not his fault) with the water heater. They came out same day and resolved it at no charge.The guy runs an honest business does an excellent job and takes care of his customers. There’s no reason to look anywhere else for your plumbing needs.

    I really appreciate finding service providers that are honest, competent, reliable, and knowledgeable. We reached out to Rich about replacing the toilets in our home. We knew which model we wanted to replace with. He offered his expert opinion about our choice, asked what it was about the particular model we chose that influenced that decision, and then offered a different model from the same maker that in his experience would address all our requirements yet last longer. It had the added benefit of costing less. Then, when it came to the install date, he arrived on time, completed the work within the window he originally provided, and did a great job cleaning up afterword. It was like hed never been there, except we had all new toilets. Absolutely doing business with him again when we need it and absolutely going to be someone Ill recommend to any friends, family, neighbors, etc. that need a plumber.

    I found American Plumbing & Rooter when I was googling for toilet service. American Plumbing had great reviews so we tried them this morning. Kevin Dillon did a great job of installing a new toilet and doing clean outs of the house and city pipes/drains. Guess we didnt realize how pouring grease down the sink (even with hot water) could clog the pipes/toilets up.Kevin was very thorough and explained and demonstrated everything all along the way.     Rich and his team were quick to check out the hot water leak in our foundation. They were transparent, professional, knowledgeable, and I never felt like they were pushy or trying to pressure a sale.     We were having a problem with our two year old water heater (it was already in our house when we bought it in 2021) pilot staying lit. I was dreading the thought of trying to find a reliable person that would be able to come out and not rip us off. Luckily, there was a sticker for American Plumbing and Rooter on the heater already, nicely labeled with the installation date and a “wait! You might still be under warranty!” sticker so we went ahead and called. They were very friendly on the phone and able to get out to us the next morning! It turned out the part (gas valve) on our Rheem was known to have problems and was covered under our warranty so we only had to pay trip and labor. Very prompt, considerate, knowledgeable and helpful. Explained the issue to us thoroughly and gave us some tips. I feel confident in the work done and will be sure to contact them if need be again!     After being given the run around by my home warranty company and the plumbers they recommended I decided to give American a call since they had good reviews and were local. Great decision. Rich listened patiently as I explained my situation with water heater. He had me send him some pics and quickly put together a plan which the home warranty company accepted. Rich came out himself and installed a water heater in about an hour. Im very happy and impressed. After a week without hot water my wife is ecstatic, lol. Thank you Rich.

    Had a strange gushing water sound coming from our tub in the guest bathroom. Our immediate thought was the main line may be backing up. Called 2 plumbers. One was going to come out and clear our main line for $340. But Rich from American Plumbing and Rooter suggested (over the phone) that it could be a dry drain, and to try running water for a few minutes. Well, it did the trick, problem solved with only a phone call. Although we did not need them to come to the house, based on this outstanding customer service, they will be our first call for future plumbing needs.

    Great company!! Called at 7am when I discovered my hot water tank had blown, and Rich picked up the phone. They were out in a few hours and did a fast repair!     Truly outstanding service! We woke up to 4 inches of water in our garage and a flooded laundry room. Rich had someone out to our house within two hours to repair the problem. The repair tech was professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. The price for the repair was reasonable and they didn’t charge an extra emergency fee.     Rich was amazing! We recently bought a house and discovered our water heater pump was leaking. Rich came out the next day check out the situation, and gave me an estimate on replacing the pump. He also noticed some bad pipe work from whoever installed the water heater originally and gave me an estimate to fix as well. He came back ASAP with the new pump and fixed both the pump and the piping. He was very very thorough and explained everything to me. Moving to a new place can be stressful and finding people you can trust is challenging. His prices were reasonable and his customer service was rockstar! Rich put my fears at ease and is definitely my go to plumber now.

    I contacted American Plumbing and Rooter on Monday at 930pm, spoke to Rich regarding a replacement for the hot water valve under the kitchen sink. Rich set up an appointment for 7am the very next day! Kevin came out (he arrived on time) and replaced the valve in a matter of minutes! I asked Kevin to take a look at my water heater and he quoted a fair price to replace. We scheduled an installation for the very next day (today). Rich and Kevin both came out and once again, they were on time. These guys were very nice and professional and they took the time to explain the maintenance of the water heater.

    We had a blockage in our main sewer line and needed to make a decision quickly. I had already called out another plumbing company (located near our house) to run a camera down the line and find the blockage. They said they would need to dig down in a difficult spot and cut out the area around the block.The cost was high enough I wanted to get another quote. But I also didnt want to delay getting the work started. American Plumbing answered and I was in contact with a technician immediately at 5pm on a Monday (no wait for call back!).I explained what I knew from the other company and they confirmed that American Plumbing would likely take the same approach, and that the price quoted by the other company sounded very fair. They also quickly brainstormed and shared a possible additional company that might be able to handle it without having to dig.I was super impressed with the responsiveness and willingness to listen to my whole story, offer advice, and try to think of any alternative that could save me money. All at no cost, and without trying to take over the job from the first company.American Plumbing will be at the top of my list next time I need some plumbing work done!

    Rich is very responsive and shows up on time. He took time to understand a unique problem I had with running a separate water line for a pond. Although we ultimately decided the job will be too complicated, Rich spend quite a bit of time with me and gave me all the options to educate me so that I dont end up in a bad situation even if I didnt choose him for the install.     As honest as they come.Our sewer has backed up twice in a month. So gross!!! Now, its July 3rd and almost everyone is on a 4 day weekend in a matter of hours.Rich and Jake were out immediately and gave us the bad news...roots in our sewer line. A LOT of roots which will cost A LOT to repair. After he saw the look on my face, Rich gave me a suggestion. They would grind out what roots they could so we could go about our daily routines BUT considering where the problem was, I should contact the City.As I dealt with the City, Rich contacted a locating service for me. They were on my property in an hour to locate the problem and record a video of the damaged pipe.Long story short, the city picked up the tab of $15,000! Rich and Jake could have cleared the pipe (or worse, replaced it!), charged us a ton of money and been on their way. Instead, they did what was best for US. We cannot thank Rich and his team enough for their honesty and we will recommend American Plumbing & Rooter to anyone that will listen!

    Such awesome service!! My kitchen faucet sprayer house malfunctioned and made a huge water mess. I called Rich at 9:15pm to make an appointment for the next morning. He was very accommodating with my schedule and showed up right when he said he would. Rich and his apprentice were knowledgeable and professional. He didnt have the part I needed on his truck so he went to Home Depot to get it! He came right back and installed my kitchen faucet quickly and neatly.     Great company. Ironically my name is the same name as the business owner and we clicked the second we met! These guys are super friendly and we’re on time for my plumbing issue. Jake showed up and was very down to earth and took care of replacing our main shut off valve which was stuck in the closed position.     My water heater had signs of corrosion and stopped supplying hot water. My first call was greeted by Rich and he was very helpful with answering my questions. He walked me through the process of inspection for a quote and replacement. He was able to get someone out on Sunday. Rich and the plumber Nick called ahead prior to arriving for the inspection. The quote was reasonable and beat the price of the companys you see on TV. The replacement plumber Jake came out to replace the water heater, copper piping, flex pipe for the hot/cold supply and replace the gate valve with a ball valve for the shut off. Rich also followed up through text to make sure everything was ok. The old water heater could not drain because it was clogged, so Jake and Nick returned to remove it and properly drain it. The Rheem water heater is taller than the original but smaller in diameter. This allowed some extra space around the tank. The repair was done clean and the hot water was up and running better than before. I recommend American Plumbing and Rooter for all plumbing tasks. I will definitely call them again, because I would rather work on electrical projects.

    My water heater spung a leak and was flooding my garage. I called American Plumbing an Rich was very responsive. He walked me through shutting off my water main to keep the damage from getting any worse. He got me onto the schedule for same day service.My Technician, Jake, arrived on time and even called me about 30min before his arrival. He was extremely professional and even helped me to clear a few items from the area. Jake did a very clean job, he replaced everything that was old or coroded that could lead to problems down the road. He recommended and installed a shut-off valve to be able to cut water to just the tank in the future.These guys were a great team with fair prices. I wouldnt call anyone else!

I immediately called my home warranty company but to my dismay they did not have a plumber available for me. They told me to contact my own plumber and that they would reimburse me.     I called Rich to get a bid for a plumbing problem that I have. Rich was straight forward, asked the appropriate questions and did not rush our conversation. After he fully understood my specific problem, Rich said that I would be better served by a different company. At my request, Rich provided me with a referral. I called the referral and, as Rich suggested, the referral company said they could solve my problem and quoted me a reasonable cost. I like that Rich did not waste my time or his.     We had multiple backed up drains in the house. We called Rich after a different company quoted us a ridiculous amount to fix a problem they looked at for 5 minutes.     The owner, Rick, let me schedule via text, tech showed up on time, more than fair pricing and they didnt charge for one of my issues that was minor. They also noticed a separate issue with water pressure and adjusted my regulator on the spot and free of charge - great to have a company that wants to do right by you rather than squeeze you. And easy credit card payment on tablet with emailed receipt on the spot. I recently returned for a separate issue and had a repeat awesome experience. Fully recommend.

    Had a really great experience! Any other plumber would have told me we needed a new kitchen sink after he saw how rusted on and corroded our old faucet was, but Rich used every trick in his book to finally get the old one out so he could replace it.     My inbound water supply hose bib corroded and had a leak. American Plumbing & Rooter responded to my service request via yelp within minutes had me take a picture of the issue provided me a quote within 20 minutes.     Saw the truck driving in the Chandler area, decided to check them out on Yelp as well as Google and noticed all good reviews as I was having hot water heater issues. I wasnt dissapointed in any way as they took my call and scheduled same day, showed up on time and they were very helpful explaining why I kept having issues with replacing hot water tanks in my home every 3-5 years. Rich explained the lack of flushing the tank yearly and replacing the anode rod every 3 years is why we keep needing new tanks. He showed us how to DIY, pricing was fair and the work was very neatly done. Id use this company again and would recommend them to any friend or family member.

    I reached out to various plumbers (6 in total) to resolve my low water pressure to my house. All of them were quick to respond to set an appointment. Now I knew the issue I had was more than likely a simple fix.....and it was. However this company didnt reach out to set an appointment right away. Instead they asked me a couple simple questions and for a couple pictures of the water lines to my house. They coached me on how to fix it (using the yelp app to message me btw) and for less than 10 dollars and screwdriver my issue was solved.This company could have done what the others were trying to do by trying to set an appointment, and honestly I would have just picked one and been happy paying. However they chose the route of helping me troubleshoot it and solve the issue myself which is awesome. To that, I will say is a testament to how honest this company is. They could have just showed up and charged me but they took the non profitable route and help me fix it on my own. Kudos to this company and glad there is still people out there that arnt so easy to make a quick buck. Thank you!

    Great company! Great service!I was purchasing a home and the inspector recommended we get a sewer line scope due to the mature trees in the yard and the complications that can arise from roots. Due to time restrictions on the inspection period when buying a house, I needed to find someone that could get it done in a hurry. Rich, the owner, answered first thing and was able to fit me in the following morning.     FANTASTICO!Had a leaking water line inside the wall leading to the refrigerator. Called American Plumbing and Rooter the night before, received instruction to prevent collateral damage and Rich came out first thing in the morning. He was able to isolate the leak and get my life back to normal. American Plumbing and Rooter is a professional outfit. They do things strictly to code, STRICTLY. There is no cutting corners from water heaters to pressure regulator valves. Your going get an understandable answer from a professional who does things right and to code.     This is the 4th time weve contacted American Plumbing and Rooter for help. We experienced a pinhole leak in an overhead PEX hot water line which created a steady drip coming through the ceiling in our family room. Within a half hour of Rich’s arrival that PEX line and associated junction fittings were replaced and further damage to the ceiling was stopped. All was explained to us before Rich commenced on the repair.     Rich was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. I messaged via Yelp on a Sunday morning and he replied within 10 minutes. He was able to come out on that following Tuesday and was extremely transparent about the whole process. There was a slab leak and the leak location company they work with was fantastic as well. The fix he did avoided jackhammering up our tile and all that remains is minimal drywall repair. We also got a few other maintenance items taken care of as well.     Its always hard to find honest people you can trust. Your search is over because American Plumbing is a company you can trust. After getting a reduced quote from one of the big plumbing companies in the valley for a new water softener, I called another company that refused to give me a quote. They had to come see it. Finally I called American Plumbing, texted them 4 or so pictures and got a quote in about 10 minutes. I ended up spending $1,200 less and the work was done on time and UNDER my original quoted price.     Kevin and Rich were great! They came to give us a second opinion/estimate and found the first guys had broken the sewer cap and dropped it down into the pipe!     My hot water heater pressure relief valve had a steady stream of hot water coming out. Later on, I also found out that I had a faulty ball valve preventing me from being able to flush out the tank. It was Labor Day and I reached out to American Plumbing and Rooter and a few other plumbers via Yelp. Rich responded very quickly. Out of the 3 responses I got on Labor Day, Rich was the only one who started a dialog with me and went through specific questions to really understand what was wrong with my water heater. He also went through the trouble to look up the serial number and figure out that my water heater was still under warranty.Rich gave me a couple of options and his quote for replacing the pressure relief valve was very competitive with other quotes I was getting (actualy about $20 less). I decided to go with warranty replacement as it was clear my water heater had a ton of scale build up as I did not have a water softener until very recently and the heater had not been flushed or serviced for 4 yrs.Rich set me up with an appointment and 2 days later, I have a new water heater and everything is working perfectly. Kevin did the installation. He showed up right on time per my appointment and he did a great job explaining what he was going to do. He did a very tidy job overall and the installation was neat and clean.Near the end of the install, Rich came out to check and make sure everything was done properly and he explained to me how to flush the water heater and what servicing was necessary to keep it running in top shape.I was concerned that this was going to be a major PITA. Rich and Kevin made this a fast and easy process. The pricing is very competitive and, most importantly, Rich was the only plumber who responded quickly on Labor Day and actually spent quite a bit of time helping me understand my options instead of sending just a one sentence response or some automated response.These guys are awesome!
