This company is incredible and I will recommend to all family and friends! Chris is efficient, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. We have used him for numerous jobs, including a whole house water system because we live in an area where the water is questionable. We wanted not only for drinking water, but also we wanted a system that would protect us from the harsh elements and chemicals that our bodies should not be consuming. Couldn’t be happier with his services. He has done multiple jobs for us and we plan to continue to use him for all of our plumbing and hvac needs!

From one licensed tradesman to another, I would like to thank Chris with Midgard for his great work at my home. In the past, he has come out on a cold weekend to fix the heat while I was out of town and had my retired mother at home alone. His fair prices, great personality, and quality craft brought us back when it was time for the next job. I had a leaking water heater and had my mother schedule everything. I was surprised to hear that Chris pulled the required permit to replace the water heater without asking. Pulling the required permits is uncommon nowadays and there are many horror stories to prove that. When my main valve wouldnt fully close, he brought Castle Rock water out to shut off the main, cut a clean line in my wall that was easy to patch, replaced the valve, and had everything up and running in no time. I am a licensed electrician and though plumbing isnt in my realm, I can tell when a tradesperson takes pride in their work, and this man does just that. I dont give recommendations often and have high expectations. Chris exceeded all of them.

Chris came out to install a new tub/shower faucet cartridge for me. After installation he noticed the water pressure in our home seemed too high which usually means the pressure regulator valve has probably failed. He tested it and sure enough it was 105 psi when it should be around 65-70 psi, so I had Chris replace it while he was here. He also educated me on a whole host of plumbing issues and answered all of my questions. I HIGHLY recommend Chris with Milgard Plumbing for all of your plumbing and HVAC needs!

Chris really knows what hes talking about. The plumbing part of being a plumber is fairly straightforward; but knowing the codes and best practices and being able to make recommendations sets him apart. Was friendly, professional, and on time. They even came out on Saturday morning so we could start taking hot showers again. And Steven does good work with solder - it wasnt his fault he was in a room with a smoke alarm! ;-)

Midgard is ALWAYS my first call for any plumbing or HVAC needs. They’re responsive, honest, and fair. We’ve used them for major and minor repairs. One more than one occasion, the Midgard team diagnosed a minor issue via text message and offered the exact right solution that we could complete ourselves, saving us from an expensive trip. I can’t give them a high enough recommendation.

Chris came over on a weekend to give a free estimate. That seems to be rare with other plumbers in the area. My wife and I were looking for more hot water. Chris was very personable and we discussed the options of tankless versus dual water heater. The cost of doing a tankless to code was significantly higher than dual tanks. He also wanted to discuss how the project would influence finishing the basement. I asked him to look at the pressure regulating valve for the house. Wed been experiencing some issues with that valve. He recommended swapping it out as they have a ~10 year lifespan. We asked him to include it in the quote. It was obvious from our detailed conversation that Chris is quite knowledgeable. We came up with a plan and later that night, we received an emailed quote. Again, all on a Sunday. We set up a time for a couple days later to do the job.Chris and his apprentice were promptly on time. Again, a rare thing to encounter with a plumber. They got their tools and equipment to the basement and we once again discussed the work and they started the project. They had no problem with me coming down and checking up on them during the work. They were very respectful of our home and cleaned up after the work was complete. No tools or garbage left (again, a rarity).The plumbing is top notch, as you can see from the photo. The dual water heaters and correct pressure (thanks to the new PRV) has made a huge difference and is performing exactly how we wanted. I would 100% recommend Midgard to anyone with a plumbing need and I would 100% ask them back for any additional work.

Although I eventually determined I wasnt comfortable doing it myself, Chris came out at his next available opportunity and completed my project himself at NO charge!! Who does that?? I first phoned Midgard Plumbing and spoke to Chris several months ago. In short, I was personally installing new bathroom faucets and valves. However, after installing 4 valves, one of the valves began to leak. I attempted to fix the leak several times and was unsuccessful, thus, I knew I needed to reach out to a plumber by end of day.Chris quickly took the call assisting me telephonically, and walked me through some ‘old school’ trouble shooting steps and suggested I change a part that quickly solved the problem. His expert knowledge and more importantly, his integrity to walk me through it, saved me the cost of having him come out for an emergency call. Chris is a blast from the past, whereas, he is not only an expert plumber, he is a plumber with integrity.Fast forward, I phoned Chris when I was in need of a plumber to help fix a new kitchen sink plumbing redesign - because our new kitchen sink is deeper in depth and was in need of 3 new faucet and dishwasher turn valves.In short, Chris along with his assistant Anthony, was able to resolve the required redesign (pipes) and expeditiously completed the job. The price to perform his services was extremely reasonable.There is no question, Douglas County is very fortunate to have Chris, a Master Plumber with Old School Values and INTEGRITY!

I have had Chris out three times in the last 5 months for different problems and he has consistently been fantastic!First our Water Heater went out on Christmas Day, and Christ came out first thing on Dec. 26th, which was a Saturday. I had contacted another plumber, for the next Monday, but Chris was faster. He came out, did an awesome job, and we got a great high quality water heater at an amazing price. All work was done within a few hours and all clean! looks and works Great!Second he came out when our Furnace went out during the Frigid temp snap we had in February. Although super busy weekend, he fit us in, made a minor repair and didnt even charge me! Fantastic Service!Finally he came out today on a pipe leak on our toilet, made another minor repair and fixed the issue that another contractor had caused. Chris is fast, does excellent work, he is sharp and great at diagnosing and explaining the problems and all of the options. Very Honest and I highly recommend calling Midgard Plumbing first. Needed a professional to take a look at a persistent and nuisance leak I failed to sufficiently correct myself, so, after dealing with a commercial plumber who recommended remodeling my entire bathroom for thousands of dollars I wasnt willing to part with, I decided to give this local business a shot (near my residence, listed positively on Google, etc.). I am sure glad I did...Chris answered my call and was able to get me on the schedule right away. He arrived within the proposed time (something I rarely experience, not only as a consumer, but a professional Project Manager for the past several years) and was able to identify, troubleshoot, and correct my issue all in less than an hours time. Chris was incredibly insightful with regard to the cause of the leak and each step in mitigating the problem in addition to providing a wealth of useful information regarding home water treatment and utility configurations in the surrounding area.I highly recommend working with Chris and Midgard to anyone with Plumbing and HVAC needs. He is prompt, attentive, skillful, and straight to the point. I can not overstate how much I value his no nonsense approach.

He’s everything a home owner hopes to find in a master plumber/technician: quickly responds to inquiries, easy to communicate with, and when he arrives he is respectful, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, honest, trustworthy, and affordable! I instantly felt we were in good hands relying on Chris to resolve our problem. As an aside, when he needed to get water from our hot water tank (to test our sump pump, which was the issue), he explained signs to us that indicate we will have future problems with the water tank. Instead of scaring us into fixing that future problem immediately (which some plumbers would do unnecessarily to make a quick profit), Chris tested a couple other things, gave us a fair caution, and provided an estimate of repair, but told us we still had some time. How nice to be warned but not scared into repairing something we don’t need to quite yet. He fixed our sump pump issue for a reasonable price and all is well again. I can’t say enough positive things about Chris, he really is the best! We would trust him to take care of any future issues we have. The hot water tank will probably be next;)

About a month age our hot water tank went out. I went online and found Midgard in Castle Rock. Chris, the owner was able to come out the same day. Not only did he give me an estimate to replace it, but also did something very special for us. The week before our upstairs air conditioner went out. I was informed by another A/C company that I needed a new circuit board, which with parts and labor was very expensive. On the day that Chris gave me the estimate for the hot water tank, I asked him if he would please confirm the A/C problem. He went up to the attic part of the house and within less than a minute he found that is was the fuse that popped. Not only was he able to get the upstairs unit to work again, he didn’t even charge me. The next day he replaced our hot water tank and did all the proper venting and the price was very reasonable. We will not only use him forever, but I highly recommend Chris and Midgard to anyone in Parker, Castle Rock and surrounding area to call him. He is a very nice person who has a lot of integrity and is a good at his trade. You will not regret your decision. Thanks

If you need a plumber this is the guy. Not only is he a master plumber he backs up all his work. He knows his trade and will get the job done. I called several plumbers in the Castle Rock area. We live in Elbert County 25 minutes east of Castle Rock. Some of the plumbers had a third party service field the call and press you for an appointment. I cant stand that. When you want to talk and discuss the problem first these other companies were more concerned setting up an appointment and charging $80 for the visit plus, some charged more since we were not in their normal territory range which makes no since since they drive much further for jobs in Denver and the surrounding area. Chris is very busy for good reason. He is that good! If you leave a message he will call you back. He was able to diagnose our issue over the phone and even give an estimate of how much it may cost. He didnt charge a fee for traveling and he got the job done. I called every plumber in Castle Rock and you can tell when you speak to him he listens and shows true concern for the situation. My take away is he cares, takes pride in his work and he charges a fair and reasonable price. He is nice guy too. .

He said that the best time to check it was in May or June. Long story short, he fixed our AC for $800 less than another quote. Chris is absolutely, hands down the BEST! We called on a Saturday afternoon, our water heater was dead and leaking - he returned my call within a few minutes and arrived at our house in 30 minutes. Right away Chris was able to diagnose the issue and laid out all of our options - and was exceptionally professional when my husband and I asked for a moment to discuss privately which route we wanted to go. Chris was able to come back this morning (Sunday) and not only install a new water heater, but also diagnosed and fixed several other issues. We have just moved into a new house and the first week there we run into a problem with the water pressure. I called the water company and they are seeing no issues so there should be no problems so i need to call a plumber...I called Chris from Midgard Plumbing. By the time I made it back home from Centennial, he was already in front of my house waiting for me. Unbelievable! Chris was so professional, polite, and so willing to help and he explained everything to me so I am able to understand the plumbing and all the components installed in my new house.One of the components was a water conditioning unit that failed. All the junk from it filled in and clogged up all the faucets around the house creating all kinds of issues with my water pressure and almost no running water anywhere.Chris took care of opening every single one of them and cleaning them for me. I was ready for a huge job and even bigger bill. I would have paid whatever amount just to get my water running again but Chris didnt charge me a dime!!! This is the level of honesty and respect you will receive from this guy! I made plans to get my water heater replaced by Chris because I know he is a great guy I can trust. Ive had the pleasure of working with Chris Fontana 3 times now for issues with Plumbing related problems. First time was for a hot water heater replacement, second time was for a Thermal Expansion Tank Replacement (Which Chris in this case informed me was under a warranty I was not aware of), and lastly assisting with a clogged pipe.Each time Chris was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and helpful. I called and received a handful of quotes for a water heater and irrigation cutoff valve replacement. Chris was the only one who insisted on coming out for a free on-site review and estimate. While there, he found that our pressure regulating valve also needed replaced.I decided to have Chris do all of the work. He and his apprentice did a quick and thorough job, left with my plumbing closet looking better than it did before he did the work, and charged what was previously quoted, no surprises. Chris came over a couple months ago and installed a tankless water heater for us. I compared his pricing and his know-how with a few other competitors and it was clear to me he was the choice. Chris did a great job of walking me through what would take place, as well as the pricing. Even though, it was a pretty involved job and there were several steps in the process because of our current home setup, there were no surprises because of his thorough due diligence and experience.I then called him today (on a Saturday no less) to come over and look at our furnace because it wasn’t firing up. The fix was relatively simple, but not something I would’ve figured out. When I offered to pay him, he declined. Not only am I impressed with his integrity, but his customer service and willingness to come over and help me in a pinch! I would recommend Chris to anyone else with plumbing/HVAC needs!

Chris did an excellent job of fixing two leaks that I had with my plumbing. One was just a loose packing nut in the valve and he quickly tightened that up without having to do any soldering or fixes. He also taught me about some of the switches near my furnace that I didnt know about.Lastly, he fixed a leak that was actually higher than I thought it was. He got all of it done very quickly and the plumbing that he replaced looked much better than it was before.I highly recommend him for the quality work he provides!

The water heater stopped working in a home we own that we are renting out. Our tenants let us know promptly. We contacted Patriot Pros, and they told us we were next on our list. After 8 hours, they finally said they were on their way, but our tenants had gone to eat dinner, so we were scheduled the next day. We were told right after the first two people, wed be next on the list. While waiting for Patriot Pros, I called Chris to see if he could come take a look, and just have a second opinion as well. Chris was at the house looking at the issue within the hour. He diagnosed quite a few things, and told us he could overnight the expensive part we needed and have it fixed promptly. Meanwhile, we were still waiting for Patriot Pros to make it out. Javier finally showed up, took water pressure readings, and diagnosed what he thought was wrong, including using a false water pressure reader, and wanting to charge us over $2000 for a water an expansion tank with a water pressure valve. When we talked to Chris, he confirmed with us that he checked the water pressure, and nothing was wrong with it. We decided to go with Chris on a Friday evening. He had the part ordered and overnighted Monday, and Tuesday as soon as the part arrived, Chris was at our house fixing everything. He was so responsive, so professional, so kind and patient, and everything was priced well. Thank you so much Chris!

We had Chris and his apprentice (TJ, I think was his name) come out and take a look at our furnace which was on its last leg and not working. Chris got it up and running and we discussed having an entire HVAC unit (furnace, AC, and humidifier) installed in the very near future. The furnace (which is 20+ years old) went out again the same day and Chris made another emergency call at (no charge again) and got it working yet again. At this point we scheduled to have everything installed on Monday and Tuesday the following week. The next morning we woke to a house temperature of 65 degrees due to the furnace finally giving way. I called Chris and asked if he could do anything to have at least the furnace installed that day. Chris managed to push back what he had scheduled with his other clients and installed our furnace restoring our heat that day. He then came back the following week to complete the rest of the job.Chris was not only professional and courteous the entire time but he took the time to explain what needed to be done and why. Throughout the entire installation Chris was there to answer any questions I may have had. They kept the area where they were working very clean and tidy and when they left it was spotless. Also got a fair quote on a water heater and will be using Midgard to replace that at some point in the next few months. Bottom line is we have always needed a plumber we can rely on and it looks like we have now found that with Chris and Midgard Plumbing.Side note - I called Midgard after Patriot Pros came out the day before and for all intents and purposes charged me $246 to cut a hole in my wall. They quoted me unnecessary services and exorbitant prices. They were going to charge me $2400 to fix a leak where it did not exist.Chris quickly found the real leak location and fixed it for 20% of what Patriot Pros was quoting. And his water heater quote was 55% of what Patriot quoted me. So stay away from Patriot Pros at all costs, and I would highly recommend Midgard Plumbing if you want a fair deal and some integrity included with the process.

When our water heater started leaking, we asked around for a reliable and honest plumber. Chris came highly recommended by many people in the area. We called after hours and he returned our call immediately. He was able to fit us in his busy schedule, as well as spending time on the phone with me to trouble shoot. He went through turning off the gas and water leading to the heater until he was able to come out the following morning. He installed a new one quickly and efficiently within a few hours.Fast forward six months and we had some irrigation issues with our sprinklers. The sprinkler company thought the issue stemmed from the regulator that was installed and recommended that I call the plumber. Chris, as usual, was prompt, courteous and was able to squeeze us in and come out the following morning. He tested all of our pressure which was perfectly fine and replaced the regulator to eliminate that as a possibility, even though he was confident that was not the case. He was right and determined it was an irrigation issue that was overlooked by the previous company. To top it off, he didn’t charge us for the visit or the replacement of the regulator.We highly recommend him as he puts people in front of profit.
