This is the absolute best experience I e had with a plumber and a service company overall. I needed someone to install high rise toilets for my elderly dad. I just saw one of their trucks and called the number — just hoping they’d be a decent company. Dave (the plumber) and Candy (in their office) knocked my socks off. Their communication was excellent, they showed empathy and respect for my dad, Dave’s expertise/attention to detail/kindness was incredible. I am so grateful that I found them and can’t recommend them highly enough.

We had Anthony Smith as our technician, who was very informative. Talked to us about our water softener. Unfortunately the company doesnt service them like I hoped but they will install any water softener you buy. He informed us to get a water softener kit and our target goal should be about 8 with that.*edit* we had Pete come out and do replace some bathroom fans. He was able to get those up pretty quickly. Had to do a bit of framing since the new fans are smaller than what he was told, still got it done.

H. R. Stewart has a great reputation in our neighborhood in Crystal Lake, as well as in their location of Cary, IL. Tech Chris R. visited at our earliest convenience to help us with our furnace. Its always wonderful to get help with heating during 5 degree winter weather in IL. Its equally wonderful to be greeted with exceptional techs. Chris is professional, pleasant and importantly, well trained in his field. He took time and care to diagnose the issue with our furnace. Although we are in need of a new furnace soon (we know its older and Chris confirmed our suspicion) it was nice to have the option of repair at this time. We appreciate the honesty and fair prices offered from this company. Chris took time to go over the issue with me as well as share them over the phone with my husband who was unable to be present during the repair. Our neighbors have called on this company as well and have been very pleased. I will be calling them when the furnace needs more urgent replacement. They also do plumbing as well! I had I leak in my second floor shower. I live in a townhome so I share a wall with my neighbors. I was so afraid that the walls would have to be torn open to find the leak, but Will managed to find the issue and NOT have to tear my walls open. It took him quite a bit of time to figure it out, and also quite a bit of time to make the repair. He was calm cool and collected the whole time. I would definitely recommend this company for any work you need. They are the only plumbers that I will use going forward.

It took a while to get things going, but once the village permit was pulled and utilities were marked, the contracted fix of the leak in my main water line was completed, despite the village being TOTALLY off in marking where the main went into the house. There was NOTHING where they initially dug, as marked, so from there they went back towards the water shutoff near the base of the driveway until they found the line and rerouted it, leak free, and still done in only day. What looks like a lifeless rocky Martian landscape in my front yard is courtesy the surveyor who totally mismarked the water line location. Cant fault HR Stewart for that. They did what needed to be done to complete the work. No complaints on their part. Well done!
