After having some minor flooding issues, we contacted Triangle Reconstruction and they were amazing in their ability to identify the issues and the best way to address it. What was most impressive was the team that came out and did the work. They were probably the most professional and organized crew weve ever seen work on our house. Brian, our rep, and Rob, the owner, regularly checked in on their work and kept us updated on the progress. I hope I never have to deal with flooding issues again, but if I do, Ill call Triangle Reconstruction again.

We needed some structural and moisture remediation work (including installing a sump pump, french drains, etc) in the tight crawlspace of our newly purchased older home. After a good bit of research, we decided to go with Rob and his crew at Triangle. They gave us a thorough and competitive quote, and were also able to accommodate a tight schedule. Rob kept us updated, in person and by phone, throughout the project. There was a hiccup early on, and Taylor worked hard - and afterhours - to address it. Phew! When Rob inspected the work at the end, he noted there was some new bowing in the floors, and has agreed to have folks come out to resolve that. So appreciate the thoroughness, responsiveness and communication of Rob and the Triangle team!

Rob and his whole team were amazing. They installed a dehumidifier, sunk pump and French drains and replaced some poly underneath the house. Rob is very knowledgeable and explains what needs to be done to fix or prevent moisture issues and what is not necessary. You can tell he is knowledgeable and honest. He inspected the crawlspace of several homes I was looking to buy to let me know if there was or was not an issue and would give me an estimate of the minimum and maximum recommendation and cost. When I settled on this house it was encapsulated but had no dehumidifier and I have a child allergic to mold so did a lot of preventative work in the crawlspace. Rob’s team that did the work were very professional and polite. I can’t say enough good things about the professionalism of Rob and his team and the quality of their work. My crawl space will stay healthy and safe.

Very impressed with these guys and will work with again if needed.Symptom: Was seeing worsening dry wall cracks, nail pops, door sticks, squeaking floors inside.Triage: Got quotes from 5-6 contractors to give me a plan to fix. Range was up to $50k (!!) to fix. Ended up getting my own structural engineering report as I had no idea who to trust here.Problem: Water intrusion from wall in crawl space, coupled with gutters failing during heavy rain. Was putting stress on piers.Suggested fixes:- Adding new piers to stabilize foundation.- Adding new steel support beam.- Installing French drain and sump pump in crawl space to divert water- Exterior drainage system.Decision:Went with Triangle Reconstruction as they had a price competitive bid, but they really took the time to work through options and didnt try to upsell me, and honestly recommended against certain options that I was willing to do. Advised to wait and see first. I appreciate the willingness to solve the problem with a scalpel and not a grenade (I still cant get over a 50k quote I got...).The job ended up being to install a French drain and sump pump in crawl space to divert any water intrusion, given the slope of my property, grading exterior was difficult (and x3 the cost) seemed like the best option to me .The job was quoted to be 2-3 days or work but ended up being done in 1. They installed a vapor barrier throughout. Looks very nice installed.Happy with the quality of work and competitive price. Will come back if need to go more extensive route of adding more piers if problem doesnt stabilize. Appreciate the communication and quick turnaround time. Thank you.Summary:- The big players in this industry will really try to upsell you. Get multiple bids. Hire your own structural engineer.- Triangle Reconstruction was great to work with from initial quote, to the job, to cleanup, to post assessment. I have seen jobs go very bad. I appreciate having a company that made this as stress free as possible. Thanks again. Highly recommended.

Rob and team were excellent in every way. Punctual, great communication, excellent quality work. We were very nervous about the job given the scope of work -- add 4 new CMU piers, replace two girders, repair a third girder -- but the teams repaired our issues with great quality, minimal disruption, and incredible value (e.g. a competing proposal had a higher line item for just replacing the girders than the entire proposal from Triangle Reconstruction), and I feel like the quality of work is exceptional. I breathe a lot easier now that the literal foundation of my house is more sound.

Triangle Reconstruction came out and evaluated our home. The price was very competitive. They did not try to sell me or over sell me. They made recommendations and let us decide. Once we decided to get the work done, they came out within a week and did a fantastic job. The owner Robert was involved the whole time which was comforting because it showed he cared. They did mold remediation, a sealed crawl space, and a dehumidifier. I highly recommend them and would do business with them again if needed.

After many consultations and estimates from plumbers, crawlspace professionals, etc. 5-6 to be exact and months of time and energy into learning, figuring out our best solutions and deciding between which person to go with as none were the perfect fit..in comes Brian! At the inspection, he went above and beyond to not only educate me, but listen to me, ask questions, and he walked through not only my crawlspace but the interior or my home and exterior to learn all he could before advising. He gave solutions that made complete sense, were reasonable, and that were lower cost than so many other companies. I cant believe Im saying this but Im actually excited to hire him and pay him thousands over time to really get my house in perfect, tip top shape!!! HIGHLY recommend. Ill update this review once work has been completed as well.

I normally do not post reviews, but I made an exception for this company. I cannot stress enough how wonderful Rob (the owner) and his team are. They were always on time, very quick to respond, get me scheduled, and the most courteous group I have ever worked with. They remediated my crawlspace and added a vapor barrier and dehumidifier. Rob (the owner) came everyday to check on his crew and make sure the work was done correctly. During this process, we found mold in our walls and Rob took on the process of remediating it, putting in new insulation and let us use his air scrubber (free of charge) for a few days to put my mind at ease. He always answered my texts and calls promptly and would explain things several times to me throughout the whole process. We ended up hiring him for a third job of installing a structural beam for a load supporting wall we knocked down - although his quote was slightly higher than a few others we got - we went with him because of the quality of his work and we trust him 100%. For each project his team completed, he came out personally and checked everything himself. This is the best company I’ve ever worked with and they put me at ease through a very difficult time. I wish there were more companies out there like Triangle Reconstruction. You will not be disappointed by the quality and customer service they provide. I recommend 100% and hope to work with them again in the future.

Reliable and trustworthy. My crawlspace has had moisture issues since 2010. Ive had to replace my subfloors and vapor barrier three times and it just was not cutting it. I got 2 other quotes before Triangle Reconstruction. They all agreed my foundation need to be encapsulated, but the first two companies didnt offer much of an explanation. Then I called Triangle Reconstruction. Taylor came out and inspected my crawlspace. He gave me a written estimate, showed me pictures of my crawlspace, explained what was happening, why it was happening, and presented me with a permanent solution to keep my crawlspace dry. He let me know what to expect and gave me an accurate timeframe in which the work would be completed. He made me feel like they would get the job done the right way. Everything went as planned. There were no surprises or unexpected costs. The guys were courteous and got the job done on time.

I had a fantastic experience with Triangle Reconstruction from start to finish. I had a partially rotted rim joist under the backdoor of my house that needed repairing. I called the owner, Rob, and he came out and gave me a quote for the repair within just a couple of days, on the weekend. He was very friendly and I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. The same day, he sent the quote, which was quite reasonable. Due to personal scheduling reasons on my end, he accommodated to send his crew to fix it the next week. In under half a day, they fixed the joist, which was not an easy job and even repaired an extra segment of the board at no extra cost. I was very satisfied with how everything turned out and would gladly go with Triangle Reconstruction for future foundation work.

Let me save you some time in selecting a crawlspace company. Before I had my crawlspace done, I selected four companies to come out and give me an estimate. By far, Triangle Restoration was the most professional of the bunch. Once I scheduled my service the owner Bob called me to confirm. Prior to visits Brian K called me to reassure me he would be there, (and he provided me photo updates as work was progressing ). Any questions I had I just forwarded to Brian via text and he answered me promptly. The work took a little bit longer than anticipated. However, the installer stayed here many late nights, making sure it was perfect and Brian even came back for an inspection and asked his worker to come back and fix a couple of areas.We did have some negotiation on cost, and they were open to this negotiation with me and made it worth my while to use them as my crawlspace company.The work has been completed for several days, and Brian k has been back a couple of times just to check and make sure everything was OK. (Told him I owe him a lunch for all this customer service he provided.)

They were very helpful and knowledgeable, provided a free and accurate estimate, arrived on time, finished in less time than they had estimated, did an excellent job on the installation, and left my property clean and looking like it did before they arrived. This company can do much more than just “crawlspace stuff” too. Brian K will tell you exactly what you “really need” instead. 10/10

I had interviewed 3 different firms to help with some emerging issues at my elderly mothers home. After speaking to Rob, I knew I had found the right one! From quoting good, better, best options; to carefully answering all of my questions and concerns, Rob created a plan to deal with ongoing moisture issues by installing a french drain system, then encapsulating the crawlspace with a dehumidifier. My 93 year old mother exclaimed I have never in all my life seen a company clean up so well after themselves. LOL. But seriously, on the final inspection of the crawlspace, I was impressed with the meticulousness of the work, the EXCELLENT customer service and the willingness to go at the pace my family needed to go. This is a 5 star company and experience, hands down!

I had moisture damage in my basement with the result of one slightly bowing wall. Triangle Reconstruction installed a trenching water evacuating system, sump pump, and carbon retaining strips. They also used helical piers to lift one outside corner which had settled. They also installed a dehumidifier. In addition, they installed two French drains in front of the house. This system will take care of the water and moisture issue. I found the crews to be competent and efficient. Rob was wonderful. He was present each day to make sure the job was done correctly and as planned. He was available at all times by phone or text. He was very patient in explaining what needed to be done and how everything worked. Very easy to work with and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend this company to anyone with a moisture problem in their basement or crawl space. Reasonable prices and on time completion of the project!

I was looking for someone to do encapsulation work in my crawl space. This company was one of three companies I reached out to for pricing. What I liked about this company was I was not sold the most expensive work just because.... He gave me three options to work with. Explained in detail what each option was and what it did and did not do for my crawl space. My work was more on the preventative side since I have a new house. He even gave tips on how to keep water away from my house as time goes on, as the ground will change over time due to water run-off. When they came to start the process they were on time, and finished fairly quickly. I went under the house with them and they explained what they did in detail. Happy customer here!!!

The initial response was responsive to our needs, the expert explained what was possible, variations of the job and a quote was submitted quickly. Field manager Brian K. came out and gave me a very detailed plan of what they could do to fix my foundation water and crawlspace issues. The quote was on par with other quotes I got from other area businesses. I decided to go with Triangle Reconstruction because they would do both the crawlspace encapsulation as well as install French drains inside the crawlspace and outside the foundation.The work the crew did was meticulous and complete. After the job was completed Brian returned and did a walk through. He found one or two things that I would never have noticed and had his crew come out to correct. I have recommended Triangle Reconstruction to two other friends. I did not check on time, but to no fault of the crew. They had to travel from Cary to Mebane and encountered RTP traffic in the morning.

After a thorough inspection he told me that the crawlspace looked pretty dry and no remediation was necessary at this point. I had several folks come out and take a look at our crawl space and we received a lot of feedback about how if we didn’t clean out our crawl space immediately we would have major health problems and the house would fall apart. Triangle Reconstruction came out and confirmed what I already knew from my own personal inspection and that of the home inspector before we purchased the house, we had some issues but nothing too crazy. There was no gloom and doom or high pressure tactics to get us to use Triangle Reconstruction. Robert showed me pictures of the problem areas and explained what they could do to fix the issues. Robert provided a good, better, best plan and clearly went through what they could provide and what we could expect. The clean out, encapsulation, and dehumidifier install was done in about two days and I’m very happy with the results. I will continue to recommend Triangle Reconstruction.

Triangle Reconstruction was very responsive, professional, and did a great job. Rob showed up on time to do the estimate, provided a clear explanation of the problem (had mold and moisture in the crawlspace), answered all of my questions honestly, and agreed to work with my requests rather than forcing me to do things I didnt want to do as opposed to other companies (eg. agreed to clean mold and apply vapor barrier to see if a dehumidifier was really needed). The estimate was much more affordable than other estimates, and they did great work. Our doorbell broke coincidentally while they were working in the crawlspace, and Rob even sent out an electrician to make sure it wasnt anything the crew did to cause the problem. Would definitely recommend them.

Triangle Reconstruction installed baffles and blow-in insulation in my attic spaces over existing (and 35 yr old) insulation. The assessment/quoting process was easy. They provided different lines for their recommendations and we chose which services we wanted to go with (e.g., we did not choose radiant barrier installation). The team of two that did the work were friendly, efficient and did a great job. Most importantly, we got exactly what we wanted from the project. We immediately felt better comfort in our home. Our bonus room over the garage that was once cold or hot depending on the outside temperature is surprisingly stable now, and this review is about 2 mo from installation. I recommend both this company and the investment of adding insulation.

Robert - owner of triangle reconstruction was incredibly helpful in each step of our attic insulation process.We bought a house that was....not very well maintained. Robert did an inspection and recommended two options for us. A pricier option with a higher quality material or a good option that brought the attic up to/above modern building standards. What I liked about Robert and his team was the willingness to discuss our budget and needs.His team was on time (usually early) and Robert personally inspected the work after each step of the process. From old insulation removal to the fire sealing of the attic to the mold removal to the new insulation.They even offered to fix our attic vent screens for free because a barely noticeable paint chip happened in our recessed light while all of the work was occurring . I’d highly recommend Robert and his crew.

I had a great experience with Triangle Reconstruction.A few (non water expert) people had scared us into thinking we needed to put in a comprehensive drainage system.After looking at the property with me, he was really honest that I probably didnt need (or even want) to install a complicated french drainage system. He said Homeowner to homeowner - this all looks really solid and I see no signs of a problem. If it were my house, I would not invest in a french drain system. Ill quote and install it if you want, but you have less invasive and cheaper options available to you.Then he made recommendations that would insulate the house better without having to dig up my entire yard. It was incredibly helpful and appreciated. I was prepared to clear out some savings to get french drains put in, and I was so glad he was honest with me and offered measures more appropriate to my situation. It was also WAAAAY cheaper than I thought itd be.Quote was instant and sent right to my email. I had 60 days to accept, so there was no pressure to buy on the spot. We pulled the trigger about a month after and they were able to get us on the schedule quickly.Work was fast and thorough. I am happy with the results and the team was great the whole time they were here.He also educated me on signs that would indicate wed need a french drain system. So if we ever start to see anything like that in the future, (he doesnt think its likely) I know who to call!

We had them seal our crawl space after we had several other companies come and do estimates. They were by far the lowest price point and the best bang for the buck! Once we had the appointment scheduled and the workers came out they did a quick job and the quality checkup after wards found a few mistakes, but they fixed it as quickly as possible. Definitely recommend them and I hopefully I don’t have use the warranty protection. Thank you Robert for the help and Brian for making sure we got what we needed.

The people Triangle Reconstruction were great to work with. Not only knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the work, but they also didnt try to up sell services/products. They were always professional and courteous to work with. They were prompt in returning calls and keeping my informed about the scheduling.I hired Triangle Reconstruction to clean, install a new drain, and then install a vapor barrier in my crawl space. They did a fantastic job, the barrier looks great and well installed, and even removed any debris and hauled it away at no cost. And through it all they were extremely helpful in explaining the reasoning and advocated for a step-wise process so that I didnt pay for services I didnt need until we knew if the vapor barrier alone would solve the issue. They were able to do all the work in less than a day and I came home to an incredible job well done.I would definitely work with them again and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Triangle Reconstruction provided a number of services for us: french drains; cutting a trench/channel drain through our driveway (tying our downspout to it & putting a french drain under the channel drain); dampproofing the brick exterior of our house below grade; and installing new poly in our crawlspace with tape up the columns. Robert Ayscue, the owner, was super responsive, polite, and professional. He was very knowledgeable as well as honest. When I initially suggested another french drain his team could install, he told me he didnt think it would be necessary; that we could consider building it if the other drains we were installing didnt solve the problem. I appreciated that he was honest. He was a good listener as well; I had lots of questions/concerns and he was very patient and polite.

We had Triangle Reconstruction waterproof the exterior of our house. It was a difficult job, but they worked their tails off. We were having a great deal of flooding during rainstorms and they were able to dig down to the footers, install a waterproof membrane, and put corrugated pipe in to take the water away. When we noticed that one or two spots in the basement were still getting water, they came back and redid the whole back line of the house without complaint. Weve been dry and happy since. This included replacement of the main girder, 41 joists, and mold remediation. While we were at it, we let Drew guide us through why encapsulation is the preferred method for eliminating our crawlspace moisture issues.So lets break down the score:Overall = A - This will be explained as I go through the other metricsPrice = B - Triangle Reconstruction was competitive. They were not the cheapest, and no where close to being the most expensive. This was a $30,000 job. It was one I have never done, and hope to never do again. One of their workers even took me on a tour of the crawlspace explaining the foundation repair, the French drains, the sump pump. I was able to see how much work they did, and because of that, I felt I found a company that priced things fairly.Quality = AWork was done as expected in a reasonable amount of time. The job was permitted and the town inspector passed the project without issue. The inspector mentioned that his house is encapsulated and the work, both the foundation and encapsulation were done well. There were some minor items that I noticed, Triangle Reconstruction was able to come back onsite an address. They worked with our schedule and completed everything to our satisfaction.Responsiveness = AThe great thing is that for our project there were two people looking out for us. Drew and Rob. When we had a question and needed immediate or quick response, it is best to pick up the phone. My wife and I were able to reach Drew or Rob without issue. It is important to understand that Triangle Reconstruction provides numerous avenues to contact them, and my wife and I never had an issue. So they respond to emails, to phone calls, and their crew shows up and works when they are scheduled. Scheduling with Triangle Reconstruction was relatively easy and they worked with us, and we with them.Professionalism = A Drew - very knowledgeable, willing to follow-up and check inRob - very knowledgeable as well, understanding, willing to take the time to come onsite and answer questions, address concerns. Triangle was professional, on time, accommodating to our scheduling changes, and did great work. We noticed an immediate change in the air quality in our house. They sent me the quote next day with all the details and everything very clear, we decided to remove the drainage part (will do it ourselves) they didn’t push us or trying to convince like other companies do, they are very honest.The crew came on the time and day they promised, very educated people, no loud music, very clean and quiet, they respected all the regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when they left, the driveway was like no one worked there, super clean.I asked them to install the vapor barrier another day after the ductwork were replaced (another company was working after the insulators finished) so Robert agree to have that installed after and he didn’t charge extra for that.The crew that came to finish the vapor barrier followed the same COVID-19 procedures, also they were very clean and quiet, no loud noise very professional and fast.Then Robert in person came to inspect that the job was well done, he is also very educated and polite, he answered all my questions with knowledge of what he does, you can see he has the experience. I’ll recommend them to everybody. All they promised, they accomplished.Update: After two weeks I called Robert, I thought it was an air leak because I noticed a musty odor in the bathroom coming from the crawlspace, after a rainy day, Robert came right away, he checked everything, took pictures and showed me that everything was sealed from the job done by TRS. We are pleased to recommend Triangle Reconstruction with our highest praise. It seems too simple to say that they do what they said they’d do, but that’s exactly what happened. Our home is around 50 years old. Ours was a large job - around a month and $30,000. We had Triangle Reconstruction come in after another moisture company provided mold remediation and a humidifier. I wish we’d contacted TR to start with. We provided TR with a structural engineering report. They created a plan to exactly meet all of engineer’s concerns. TR used temporary supports and replaced seal plates, girders, and joists for over half of our home. In addition, they poured footers and built new columns. They also added a few additional girders to firm up our floors. They removed and replaced our insulation. They sealed our porch and crawl space, replaced our vapor barrier, and installed a moisture meter. They wrapped our electrical cords and hung them.We were treated with respect at every step of the process. Both Brian and Rob were available at any time we had a question via text or phone call. From Brian, we received a daily morning report, with the benchmarks they hoped to accomplish that day, who would be on site, when the workers would arrive, and an update of what was accomplished the previous day. We were provided with a ton of photos and videos to document the progress under the house. Either Rob or Brian was on site each day. Rob took care of all permitting and being present on site when the town inspectors visited. The majority of the work in the crawlspace was done by Jose and Juan Carlos with some support by Valentin. Jose painstakingly hand selected each piece of lumber. My husband was impressed with the quality of lumber. Each worker who came out to our house was detail-oriented and respectful of us and our property. The work space was kept tidy and waste was removed daily.We were very worried about workers getting injured given the structural damage and the tight crawlspace. We appreciated that TR did not work their crews excessively long days. The guys had a milestone to hit each day. Sometimes they worked for four hours. Sometimes six. At no point were the crews expected to put in 10- and 12-hour days and work to the point that accidents could happen. As a family with kids, this was also respectful of our home’s routines.We are particularly grateful for the Jose’s perfectionist tendencies. My husband is an engineer and critical. He was stunned at how Jose and Juan Carlos removed wood that was spongelike and now our crawlspace looks like a brand new house. The joints are tight. Everything is perfectly lined up. Only screws were used (no nails like we see from our early 1970s construction) and joist hangers supplement each board to ensure they stay in place. Our home has never felt more solid and sturdy.Brian is exceptional in what he does. He is precise in his speech. He is respectful and kind. He pitches in to help the crews whenever needed. One day, I caught him on his hands and knees in our driveway making sure no errant nails had escaped their cleanup. I work from home and as such, was home each day. At least twice a week, he’d walk me through what was happening, explaining why they were doing certain things. Brian would walk through the interior and take note of changes we were seeing. When needed, he’d have Jose come inside to see changes and adapt midstream. At these times, both Brian and Jose (and sometime Rob) listened, made notes, explained what was happening in a way I could understand without being demeaning.Due to the extent of the damage, we did have some minor cosmetic damage inside (cracking in sheet rock, hardwood floors moving, etc). Brian kept a running list of what we saw inside. As he predicted, the majority of those resolved themselves in a matter of days due to the talents of Jose and Juan Carlos. Upon their recommendation, we withheld a retainer. The crew will be back in six weeks or so to handle any needed shimming and fix minor cosmetic damage.

Rob and his team did structural repair, encapsulation, and insulation for our crawl space. Overall, I am very happy about the work they have done. There was a hiccup during the project but Rob took it seriously and I was content with the way he addressed the issues.What went well:- They were professional and didnt shy away from explaining technical details. Most of the project went smoothly except a part done by the structural engineer.- Rob was responsive. He was willing to listen to my concerns and follow up quickly to address the issues I reported. For example, after doing the structural repair specified in the engineer report, several doors became hard to close and there was a bulging subfloor problem in a small area after several days of settling. I took photos/videos and sent them to Rob. He quickly looked into the issues and sent his crew to do follow up fixes.- Communication was good. I got status update from Rob from time to time. When there were unexpected events, instead of going silent and trying to keep me in the dark, he let me know, explained what happened, and took actions to address the issues.- Price was reasonable. I got quotes from several companies before hiring Triangle Reconstruction. They werent the cheapest but I felt they offer the best value.What didnt went well:- The only thing that made me a little disappointed was that the project was delayed for about two weeks. In order for the crew to install new joists, a structural engineer was supposed to mark the joists where sister joists need to be installed. For some reason, the crew didnt see any mark when they arrived and couldnt do anything but leave. The engineer was asked to do the marking the second time but there was still no mark when the crew came back again. On the third attempt, Rob met with the engineer in-person and went through each marking with the engineer so the blocker was finally resolved and the crew could proceed with the repair. I was not sure whether it was miscommunication or the engineer being irresponsible but the project was delayed. I was considering taking off a star initially. However, given that Rob being transparent about the blocker, took it seriously, and acted to resolve the issue to his best capability, I think he has earned the star back.
