    If I could have ranked them a 10 star, I would have. From the first call for septic pumping pricing, the very helpful female on the phone provided some eye opening insight on why we may all of a sudden be experiencing problems. To putting us on standby for any sooner service than we scheduled and then having a service guy named Dakota that had availability as he finished his last job early. Dakota had the best personality and demeanor I have seen in most any service. His work ethic was outstanding, his desire to help was above and beyond.     We had a septic issue this past Saturday and first Drew tried to help me over the phone to see if we would need him to come out so we didnt have to pay the extra weekend fee, however we did need him and he came out pumped out our septic then the problem still was not completly fixed so he contacted a plumber he recommended who came out and fixed the rest of the issue. Great job Helmer and Drew!!

    I would highly recommend Helmer Septic to anyone. Their customer service is beyond amazing. This is my second time using them and they went above and beyond. I was having an issue with toilets and backing up constantly. Had a plumbing company come out first and was told my septic was full and that was the reason. I contacted Helmer and they were able to come out this morning and added me to the earliest slot. Drew explained everything to me and was able to recommend someone to help my issue in the future after the other company misdiagnosed it. You don’t always get an honest company, but this one definitely is and I will continue using them in the future.

    Had septic cleaned today. We moved in and never cleaned it before, so that was quite a challenge for us to find it etc. Ian did great job! We have soil over the tank at 10” deep. So Ian dug the whole thing down to find the lid. So it took us longer to find the kind than to pump the septic :) Thank you for outstanding work! Well done!

    These guys are AWESOME!! Aaron, Stan, and their crew were incredibly professional, responsible, and did outstanding quality work and clean up. Our three little kids ran out to the front of the house to look at the equipment and Stan waved and greeted them all from the excavator. Aaron and the rest of the crew said hello to them as well and were very detailed in explaining to us what was going to happen, step by step. Early this morning on a Sunday.(closed) Aaron the owner came out to my residence and successfully unclogged the septic drain that the plumbers could not successfully rod from the inside. Can’t say enough as to how great they are!We contacted Helmer Septic prior to purchasing our home to do an inspection of the septic tank of the home we were going to purchase. This should have been done by the previous owners. They had not scheduled the inspection and we were at risk of delaying our close. Aaron and his wife were very understanding of our situation and squeezed us in their busy schedule. Aaron not only performed the inspection but went above and beyond and explained to us how the system works and the location of the different components in our property. After we closed on our house, we encountered an issue with the plumbing late at night and had to call an emergency plumbing service. The plumber that came to our house was not the most knowledgeable to say the least. However, he was quick to quote us $1K to diagnose the issue and $5K to $8K to replace the pipe going from the house to the septic tank. That was without even knowing what the issue was or where the tank was. We did not feel comfortable with the situation and my wife reached out to Aaron. Nowadays when you call a company you get an automated answer, especially after business hours. That was not the case, Aaron answered the phone and advised us not to perform any of the services the plumber was trying to upsell. First thing the next morning, Aaron and his crew were at our house addressing the real issue. While the big plumbing company wanted to rip us up, Helmer wanted to provide the best service at the most cost effective form. We appreciate Aarons honesty and work ethic.

    Have not had to maintain a septic before and when a relative had their septic back up into their home, I decided I should probably avoid such a catastrophe and have our system pumped, just in case. We were under advice by the builder that if you maintain the system properly by not letting certain waste materials down the drain and use enzymes regularly, we should not have to have the tank pumped. I am glad I did. We have a very full tank, in need of some serious attention.I felt very comfortable with the explanation I received on how we could try to right the wrongs of the past many years of neglecting suggested maintenance. As much as one wants to believe that monthly enzymes are enough to keep the system running properly, the proof of what they showed me gumming up the system is enough for us to use the enzymes as an enhancement only to regularly scheduled pumping/maintenance. Plus, there is no such thing as a safe flushable wipe for a septic system. Who knew!?I appreciate the frank and honest feedback, with suggestions for how to reduce waste that is getting into the tank and causing issues. They focused on the issue they were there for and not on adding additional services (i.e. pipe camera and clean out). I plan on sticking to the suggested every 6 months pumping until they say it is looking good enough to be on a normal maintenance schedule. Down the road, if they say I need to do more to keep it running well, I feel I will be able to trust their advice.I called on a Tues and they picked up the phone right away. I had an appointment within the week! These guys were right on time, professional, polite and I have to say their trucks are eye-catching! (My grandson loves the emojis!)

    When we bought our house, little did we know our septic tank was near the end of its life. Shortly after we moved in we discovered the tank was leaking. After much research and interviewing(so to speak) we decided to employ Helmer Septic to replace our tank. These guys are a family run company and from the minute we spoke to them we knew they were the best choice to service our system. They treated us like family too! They got us a quote well within our budget and completed work in the promised time frame. Aaron and Stanley were beyond professional and courteous. You could really tell they knew their sh!t 😆! When it came time to do the work, they were in and out in less than half a day. I am not one to write reviews on anything but these guys really blew me away. Now, I hope I don’t have to call these guys again, BUT if I ever have another septic issue they would be my first call, without question!

    We had Helmer out to empty our septic tank and when I explained what was going on he knew thats not all that needed to be done. He unclogged a pipe and got our system up and going again and then recommended reputable plumbers in the area for issues in the future.     Stanley has been my go to guy since the 70s for septic repairs,new installs,and drainage issues.In the early 80s he installed a complete septic system for a large home of mine. I lived there until three years ago and never had any issues with it, and it passed the home inspection at that time with no problems! His prices are very reasonable, and he is very knowledgeable at what he does! He has done a number of projects for me and always have been done correctly and promptly.I would highly recommend him for your next project!

    Called Helmer Septic on a Sunday due to an emergency - our septic system backed up into our basement! They called back same day and recommended that a friend of their company come out to see if it was just a clog or if the system needed to be emptied. Friend arrived promptly Sunday night, did a quick review of the situation, and recommended pumping.I then worked with Drew and Aaron to get things scheduled for a same-day service on Monday. They were prompt and fair with their pricing considering the circumstances. I truly appreciate their responsiveness to our situation!

    Great customer service and follow up. Drew was courteous and explained what he was doing for the septic pump out. In addition, Drew pointed out that the previous pump out (done by Weidner) was most likely only one side of the tank. I checked out my invoice from Weidner, and low and behold, it was only a one side of the tank pump out. You now have a new customer. I will tell all my neighbors. I recommend them highly!!

    I had my septic grey water backing up and called Helmer septic. I delt with Aaron who is the owner and he was super helpful and quick to help. The next day he came out and found a 3rd lid on my septic tank that the companies I’ve used in the past never saw. It was a separate part of the tank that was backed up. Aaron took care of the issue and it’s been working good as new. He even installed an extension since the kind was below grade. Helmer septic went above and beyond for me and i would recommend them to everybody!

    Helmer Septic is the ONLY septic company you should work with if you have need for such services. Not only do they have fair prices, but their work is high quality and they are extremely customer focused! I had an unexpected emergency issue shortly after moving into my home (first time Ive had a septic system) and after starting with another company that turned out to have lackluster service but high pricing, Helmer came through and anytime I call they are there when needed!     The Helmer Septic crew did a great job in replacing a dilapidated septic tank and replacing with two concreate formed tanks. The back office managed the permits with the village and county, even navigating through the challenge of the village/county recognizing different number of bedrooms and not having a current Plat of Survey or original septic design on file. (Helmer had to go to the village and search through cabinets of records to find the info needed for permit) The crew came out early and had the old tank out with the new tanks in and operational within 2-3 hours; minimizing the amount of time without working plumbing. The price was decent as well; 10% lower than another quote we received.
