FANTASTIC company! The sewer pipes underneath our basement completely eroded/collapsed and left us with a HUGE problem!!! Jim Ando Plumbing immediately came to replace everything that was necessary, both inside and out. The guy was a pro in with in 2 hours with travel time to get supplies it was fixed better then the Peaple who had done it originally!! Kudos would I have liked cheaper of course but by 4 clock all was normal and erased my screw-up thanks JIM ANDO plumbing

Zach was awesome! We had a burst water line (not actively leaking) and had water leaking into the basement. It mustve been a quick and easy fix for him, but we are very thankful our problem is resolved. He even added a shutoff valve to help prevent our pipe freezing up again. Hopefully we dont need their service any time soon, but if we do we will be repeat customers for sure!

We are new & happy customers of Jim Ando Plumbing just this year. Technician, Mike T. came out to house initially to assess a leaking drain line. With his knowledge and experience, we determined the galvanized pipes needed to be replaced. We felt so comfortable and confident with Mike’s professional assessment and skills, we hired Ando Plumbing to remove & replace all of our galvanized supply lines/drains. It was a big job but Mike was so very detailed, organized & thorough that it put our minds at ease. Each time we reached out to the office - Kathy was so very pleasant & the owner, Jim was very responsive. Both were also so very helpful. Clearly, we highly recommend! Service call was quick and Zach who snaked the tree roots from the bubbler was knowledgeable and efficient. I felt the cost of the service was a bit pricey though. Having had this done the last two years for $250 each time, over $200 more than that for a 25 minute job was overkill as far Im concerned.

Called about repair on my toilet just after the blizzard ended and they were able to come the very next day. Sean Lillis was on time, efficient and courteous. Did a great job on the repair work and explaining the work that was done. Had 3 issues that I needed repaired and it was all finished quickly and correctly. Very happy with service. I cant say if the estimate is more pricey than maybe some other plumbing company but to be honest, I dont care because they are very professional and do things properly. And being Im not a plumber, it was worth calling them to do the work. I recommend calling them. A+++

Kenny was the service technician. He quickly diagnosed an approach for completing the job. It is an older home with original plumbing, so that can be tricky. He completed the job in less time than I expected and with excellent quality. They charged for the job and not an hourly rate. Pricing was a bit high but the job was completed to my satisfaction.

The plumber that was dispatched was very timely, courteous and professional. I called Ando Plumbing to install a new sump pump but ended up having much more work done. When their technician Ken began the pump installation he discovered that water from the sanitary sewer line was making its way into the sump, probably due to a corroded sewer line. Our home was built in the 1950s. Ken gave me a written estimate to break open the basement floor and repair the sewer line. Ken and Joe returned the following week to make the repair. However, corrosion of the sewer line was extensive necessitating complete replacement. Rather than replacing the underground sewer line Ken recommended installing a less costly hung sewer line which I agreed to. Work was begun that day and completed the next day. Throughout the project Ando’s technicians were professional , courteous and friendly. They took care to protect our flooring while moving their tools, equipment and supplies into and out of our home. They minimized the time that we would not be able to use our plumbing . And they cleaned up their work space before leaving. I am completely satisfied with Ando’s work, would use them again and would recommend them.

I had a plumbing nightmare, raining in the basement and no idea where exactly on a Sunday. Monday 8 am Ando sent a very skilled, professional, and polite plumber named Zac C. To my home. Not only did he do incredible work, but in my desperation he found money saving solutions versus trying to upsell me. Instead of feeling held hostage and being taken advantage, I now have a leak free home with a paid invoice I feel was fair. HIGHLY recommended and ask for Zac. Great guy. I had to leave during his visit. I returned home with all my belongings. Where else in todays world can you find trustworthy people like this. No reason you shouldnt choose Ando plumbing for your home needs. Also very respectful to the DIY homeowners versus smart comments from other contractors. If they offered 10 stars, Id give these guys 12. My new plumber, no reservation.

They did framing in work for me last year for a shower remodel and when finished tiling they came back and finished the handles etc. Had a major clog up, and come to find out the issue was the old pipe leaving home. They showed up on a Thursday afternoon and diagnosed and they were able to fix the pipe the next morning. Always answers the phone and all the guys we have had have been great!

Communications with Ando Plumbing are always pleasant beginning with office staff through to the tech. Got service within an hour from my phone call n the job was completed in a little over an hr. Tech replaced nearly all orig pipes (60 yrs old) under kitchen sink, installed a new faucet n sprayer, n added shut-off valves. This is my third time using Ando n Ive been completely satisfied with each response time, performance time, craftmanship, n the techs discussion before, during or after. The only thing Id like to see is a senior citizen or repeat customer discount but Im not sure if any plumber offers those incentives. Nonetheless, I plan to use them again for a major drain blockage in another home soon as theyve more than earned my respect and appreciation for their professionalism.

Okay, I think most of us would agree that hiccups occur during our projects Ando and my family had a couple. But those hiccups were negated by the excellent service they provided.Ando responded to an emergency we had a year ago. So, when we decided to have some upgrades done, we went straight to Ando. Main shut off valve replaced, faucet replaced, toilet and hot water tank replaced. Ando is our GO TO company.

After assessing the problem and explaining my options he replaced the entire line in a little over an hour. Cant say enough about the excellent job he did. Wed been struggling to find someone willing to do a hard job--re running our main water line so it went below the frost line--and they quoted us a very reasonable price and promised it would be done in a day. Called a few different plumbing companies to get the sewer cleaned out at our rental property. The sewer has backed up into the basement. After calling the bigger names in the area and being told there will be a fee just to arrive I remembered seeing Jim Ando Plumbing and tried giving them a call. I believe I B spoke to Chris and he said he had jason available soon. They sent me an estimate via text link to a website and it included a photo of the tech and a map of his location. Jason called and explained the details and said he’d try to save me some money from the estimate. The estimate was for snaking out the sewer from the basement but he said I could save about $100 if he could clear it out from outside. Which he did. He was very thorough and friendly. We were able to pay over the phone via credit card and my tenant was pleased with the expedited service. I’ll definitely use them again

Jim Ando called back 15 minutes after that and I told him I got it covered and thanked him. This was at 5:30pm. At 11pm still no roto rooter. I called my son and finally found the main shut off. I called roto rooter and told them not to bother and I called Jim Ando in the morning and they were out right away! Problem solved. Their technician Kenny, was wonderful. They are coming back next week to do some more work for me! They are now my go-to guys for all my plumbing issues!

We recently remodeled 3 bathrooms and a walk-in shower and decided to use Ando Plumbing after getting some referrals for the work. “Dave” did the work and was a perfectionist and very professional. He explained what had to be done at each sink and the shower and told me how long it would take to complete. He finished earlier than he expected. He also explained how to monitor the need for replacement parts, the warranties and reordering parts when needed down the road. The thing we are most happy about is that Dave coordinated the plumbing (location of pipes, drains, floor pitch, etc.) with the tile installer to ensure the shower would be finished without him having to return to the house and that we get what we wanted.I highly recommend Ando Plumbing. We will never use anyone but them for our future plumbing.

I called J Ando after a botched attempt by an unlicensed Home Depot contractor who tried to install a new dishwasher in my home. The Home Depot contractor did not shut off the water valve to the dishwasher but instead shut off the hot and cold water valves to the kitchen sink causing air and sediment to back up into the pipes. This caused us to not have running hot water to the kitchen sink. Now not only do I not have an installed dishwasher but I also am not able to wash my dishes in the sink due to not having hot water. The J Ando licensed Plumber who came to our house was extremely honest explained the situation, explained what could happen if he replaced the valve only and what could happen to the pipes and provided fair estimates . He did not charge me for the service call. He was the nicest kindest most honest person we ever encountered when calling for home repair services. We will definitely call J Ando for any future Plumbing services!!!
