    Austin and the whole team at Guin have been awesome! Theyā€™ve installed our standby generator and a new heat pump over the last year. Perfect installation on both and great techs.     Guin was excellent! Dewayne Todd was very knowledgeable and fixed our two issues in under an hour.     Called Guin Service in a panic around 3:45 am and Mr Wendell took my call in spite of the hour and i told him what the problem was ; we had leaks in the pipes in the garage and water coming out from under the fridgeMr Wendell knew right away what was wrong ; a broken ice maker of all things !No more pipe leaks and no more water coming from under the fridge once he disconnected the water line to the ice makerHe even called a restoration company to come out and clean up the water in the garage and dry it outExcellent service in the middle of the night ! Reasonable price ā€¦ we are so grateful for Guin and Me HarveyWe will recommend Guin to our friends and family ā€¦ wonderful service and professionalism.

    Iā€™m extremely pleased with my new AC unit. The men who installed it, Zach and Shane, did a fantastic job. They were professional and knew what they were doing. Itā€™s hard to articulate how much that means to a homeowner in this day and age. They arrived when they said they would began working immediately One man started working in the attic and the other started working on the condenser. I had to leave for a couple of hours and felt like I was leaving friends in charge of my home. When I returned they were almost finished. I would recommend them to everyone.

    I dont normally post reviews, but I think these gentlemen received a shout-out. They were timely, called beforehand, they were nice and did a good job working all afternoon in the heat to get our unit installed. But I especially want to praise the way they handled the snake that was in the crawl space with them lol. It wasnt poisonous, but they insisted it be gone before they continued working haha, which I understand, since it was right above their heads. But instead of refusing to work or freaking out and killing it, they gently removed it with my pitchfork and took it to the woods near my house (where I am sure it patiently waited for them to leave so she could come back). They handled it so well, laughing and joking around, and I am very grateful they were okay with just temporarily removing her. I really appreciated them not taking her life unnecessarily or insisting I remove it myself before they continued. Because while I dont mind snakes being around, I was not excited about the prospect of trying to remove it. Anyways, they got right back to work in there, knowing there could be others, and knowing the one they had removed was probably trying to make its way back!

    After purchasing our first home, we had an AC unit give out. We scheduled a service through Guin during a really busy time of year for them. Although the tech Eric had a really busy day in front of him, he decided to walk me through my whole HVAC system to explain different components to me. Very personable and great/reliable help!

    I have been using Guin Service to do routine maintenance on my home generator for several years now. I recently, on 8/21/2024, had Guin Service do maintenance on my Generac generator. The Guin technician who has been servicing my Generac generaror is Adam Lockhart, who is a certified Generac technician. I find it easy to do business with Guin Service. It is easy to set up an appointment for services. The technician, Adam, always calls to let you know he is on the way and when he will arrive. He arrives within the scheduled time and performs the services in a courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner with good communication about his services. I am pleased with Guin Service and recommend them.

    2nd time I have used Guin. The 1st time I was really impressed with the professionalism and honesty. I say that because I called Norrell first. The technician was more of a salesman. He said we needed a new unit and went on a sales pitch on interest free units. Guins tech said only the wires needed to be replaced because there was a short and let us know of a potential fire hazard. He said it was a simple job and got it up and running. That was over 2 years ago. This time a capacitor went bad and the tech got it up and running. He said the 2nd unit AC for the upstairs has a leaky coil and qouted me a bit over 3k for the repair. Still happy with the work on the primary unit. But I will get a second opinion on the 2nd unit.

    Fabulous, friendly, reasonably priced HVAC company! We had our main Floor ac go out during a heat wave and they rearranged their schedules to get out here faster. Then a week later, our other unit went out bc the coil cracked. They were willing to come out on the 4th of July, just to accommodate us, rather than spend it with family (I insisted they wait a day!). Highly recommend and VERY happy with their professional and friendly service!

    Our AC unit broke and was 78 degrees. Guin had a cancellation and made it out to our business downtown within just a few hours. The sweet servicemen Brad (and another) were so patient and knowledgeable finding my 2nd unit which was on the roof of a commercial building on 2nd Ave. when we got to the top, they had to climb a railing and search over 20 units to find ours. They never complained and had the best attitude. I was expecting a much larger bill, but the charge was fair and the service far exceeded expectations. 20/10 my new HVAC company.

    We bought an 100-year old home two years ago and as new home buyers we didnā€™t know that we should be pickier about who did our home inspection. During our first year of owning our home, we had many different plumbers, contractor, electricians come out to give us quotes and help us some of our house trouble mysteries. I would venture to say that no other company was worth our time as much as Guin was. Wendell knows our home inside and out now. Everyone we spoke with was very knowledgeable about older homes and how plumbing technology has changed over the years.     Guin installed vents in two areas of our new home and did an outstanding job in both! Kitchen- we added a range hood vent so they installed the ductwork and looks perfect with no incidental damage to drywall etc we need to have repaired. Very happy!     Guin was amazing! They are very responsive and were able to fit me in quickly with a water leak of my hot water heater. Tim was on time, communicative and very helpful! He always was nice when I called even when I called on the weekend not knowing he did not work on that day and was having an emergency of his own. So even by extension it is a great company. Above all I really enjoyed the work, the heater works great, Tim the serviceman and the fact they did not try to take me on the price.     I contacted Guin for a second opinion after another sewer company recommended I dig up my sewer line due to a blockage and break in the line. Guin inspected the sewer line and discovered that roots were the culprit. They cleaned out the line and actually solved the problem without having to dig up my backyard. Saving money is great but the best part was the technicians, Richard and his colleague. They were friendly and took time to explain the process and what to do in the future. The scheduling process is great and I got text message reminders and updates and even a picture of Richard so I knew who to look for. Every step of this experience was fantastic. Hopefully I never have to call them again but if I need them, I know who to call!

Todd was courteous, proactive in his communication, and prompt. He also was extremely familiar with the brand of my unit and so knew immediately what the problem was, fixed it right away. We tested the unit, and voila! Heated air. Would absolutely use them (and hopefully get Todd!) again.

    Hired Guin right after seeing good google reviews. Our generator has been fixed easily by Adam Lockhart. He has done an excellent job not only fixing the problem, he also took time to explain what seemed wrong and what was his 3 steps to fix it. It has turned out to be a simple fix ($10) compared to the last company we hired from HomeAdvisor, who has updated the costly (over $600) control board and battery without fully fixing the issue. Compared to other companies we have used, Guin has the most fair price and the best thing ever is it is 24/7 with the same $100 service fee even after hours.     After reviewing the many positive reviews for Guin, I had them come to inspect my heating system. Calvin Boyd my technician told me that the system was operating properly but the 35 year old insulation on the duct work was in dire need of replacement. After my own brief inspection I discovered that the insulation on some of the duct work was missing.Calvin did an outstanding job of replacing the insulation. I highly recommend Guin and Calvin. Will definitely use them again.

    Very professional and helpful! Our AC was out in one part of our house and Alex resolved the problem quickly. We have an inefficient system on our upper level so I also asked him to explore solutions and quote each option for us to consider at a later date. Alex described each potential option fully, including pros & cons and the degree of expected improvement. He shared a few steps which would require little work and little expense and which may solve the problem completely, acknowledging more expensive options were also available that would definitely work 100%. He was competent and helpful, focusing on customer service and not trying to push the most expensive option. Highly recommend!!!!! I also like how I received a text with his picture as the repairman to expect that was on his way. Excellent!!!!!

    Had an emergency water heater leak at a friends house, and as it always seems to happen, was after 5 pm on a Friday. When I got there, found out they had called 3 places advertising 24 hour service, but after several hours hadnt received a call back. I called Guin, who our family had used for decades, immediately reached a very nice man who scheduled the repair, the service man showed up when he was supposed to, and they did a very good job to get the new hot water heater installed and working. Was more than pleased and I highly recommend them.

    Thank you Tim! Tim Rice was very professional and friendly! He repaired my outside a\c unit and had me up and running in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and explained to me what he had to do to repair my a\c unit. I have been a customer of Guin Service since the early 1990s when I first spoke to Ricky Lockhart about an a\c issue I was experiencing. Ricky knows his business!     We had trouble with our air conditioner leaking. Kevin Johnson came out to fix it. He communicated great on the time he was coming, and he went above and beyond. He was very thorough, and he made sure everything was put back in its place when he left. He even made a follow up call to make sure it was still working properly.     Guin replaced my galvanized steel kitchen drain pipe with PVC and I couldnt be happier with the results. Dewayne and his partner were nice, professional, and tidy in their work. My only issue was that the work was delayed a couple of days due to some outages at Guin, but that cant be helped, so not dinging them for that.

    I purchased anew stove and needed to have a gas line installed due to the fact that I was going from electric to gas range. The technician Nick Roof was courteous and professional and did an excellent job. He stayed and started on the line insertion while I went to get tubing that I needed that was supposed to come with stove purchase but didnt. By the time I got back he had done everything and just installed the tubing and was done! I was so grateful because I would have had to wait several more days without a stove had he not stayed.     Fantastic service all around. Heat went out New Years Eve and we called a variety of companies that we found on Google. Guin Service was the only one out of 5 companies to promptly return my call (spoke with Joseph) and I was actually able to speak to a service tech (Nick) the same night. Unfortunately, they were too busy to make it out that night (it was 11pm and I didnt call until 10pm) but they were able to have our heat up a running by 9:30am the following morning. Nick was very professional and communicated well while trying to coordinate things. Overall, Guin Service was prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. They have earned my trust and I will definitely be using them for any future needs!

    I have used this family company for years and years and each time they come in record time (minutes NOT hour from when I first call) They send a picture of who will be coming. The prices are amazing! The service is uncanny! Nothing like them ANYWHERE in todayā€™s world.     Wes worked quickly and was extremely polite and courteous. Even though he had to completely replace our AC unit, he left no trace of being there. He also went over the product and explained what to do if I needed assistance with the warranty and repairs in the future.     I needed my sewer line inspected after some heavy equipment drove over where my sewer line is buried. Richard called me before hand to give me a heads up on when hed arrive, and their system sends a text with a link to where I can track the technician and see how close he is - nice touch. They sent me an email with the video of the camera going down the sewer line before leaving. Overall friendly and professional experience. Thankfully there was no need for any work to my sewer, but Ill be calling Guin next time I need some plumbing work done. I was really impressed that he didnt try to up-sell me on work that I didnt need done.

    Guin is as good as it gets. Quite literally the Chick-Fil-A of HVAC and Plumbing service. The technician was polite, informative, and very thorough. Ive had them replace a blower, hot water heater, and service our A/C. Their reliability, consistency, and effectiveness is unmatched. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my home.
