Have been using Ethridge for over 15 years and have always been given fair and honest assessments. No pressure sales just good information and options. Also, Alex came out this visit and he was absolutely amazing. Answered all my questions about something our system needed and led to a genuine conversation. If you have an opportunity to meet him then youre going to get a very intelligent person who has a great personality. Ethridge has always had great people but he just did an amazing job and wanted to give him a shout out.

USE THIS SERVICEI think this may be my first google review ever. It speaks to how impressed I was with them.Our A/C went out on a Sunday late afternoon/evening. I called and left a voicemail with basically an S.O.S. saying we were melting. I woke up in the morning to already having a voicemail left by them at 7:15 am. By 8:30 am, they were at my front door, and by 9:30 am, we had A/C running through the house again. Their prices were exceptionally reasonable and our master tech, Alex, did a wonderful job explaining the issues and why he was doing everything. He also gave some pointers on additional subjects, which was much appreciated. We went ahead and signed up for their yearly maintenance check-ups as the cost is exceptional and will help avoid issues down the road. I could not recommend them more!

I was without Air Conditiong for about 2weeks. I called my “regular” heating and air people they came out charged it for a very high price. One week later AC OUT AGAIN! So I called Ethridge and they came out asap meanwhile I had to take my pets and myself to a hotel.(more money!) the service tech called me and he was on his way. I became very sick and Paramedics came to my home. Meanwhile DARRYL.arrived. He immediately took my keys to my home and went about doing his job saying he would take care of the situation. The medics walked me to my next door neighbor to get me cooled down. While I waited about 30 to 45 minutes. DARRYL came over saying it was up and running just fine after he found a bad fuse and some wiring replaced because it was bare. He explained every thing beautifully and gave us some information about my AC all the while SO professional and asked me if I was feeling better. He was a Godsend! And the charge was very reasonable!! I cannot stress enough Darryl was seriously a GODSEND!! I just want to tell everyone what a WONDERFUL job Darryl and Ethridge heating and cooling was! Highly Recommend recommend them. They will now be my ONLY service company now. Cudos Darryl you’re awesome!!!

Returned from vacation to a large puddle of water on the floor as we entered the house. Water was oozing up between the slab and the warped hardwood floor planks. Ethridge was able to come out that day and check out the issue (cracked AC condensate drain pipe) as well as recommend a mediation company. Not a pleasant welcome home, but Ethridge played a very big role in helping us quickly address the issue and get on the road to recovery.

My air conditioning was out for a couple of days. I called the company that installed it but once I was finally able to get an appointment, the guy was unable to fix the unit and wanted to come back another day to run a new wire to the thermostat. The other company claimed to offer 24 hour service but that was not true. When the repair guy told me he wasnt sure that would even fix the problem I told him not to worry about it, that I would call someone else. I contacted Ethridge at 5:30 pm never dreaming that someone would come out the same day! About 30.minutes after speaking to Etheridges answering service I received a call from Alex informing me that he was about 30 minutes out and was headed my way. Alex was super friendly and professional and he fixed my air conditioner in no time at all! Interestingly, the wire to my thermostat was not the problem so I am SO THANKFUL that I cut my losses with the other company and called Etheridge. The price I was charged was extremely fair and much less than I anticipated due to the lateness of the service callEtheridge (and specifically Alex) have my trust and will have the rest of my heating and cooling business from now on! Call them - you wont regret it!

A positive experience from the very beginning. We placed a call Monday morning to have someone look at our AC that was blowing but not cooling. Daniel came out that afternoon and diagnosed the issue and discussed repair vs replace options. Replacement seemed the most obvious answer for our situation. By Wednesday evening we were back up and running with a new AC system installed by Clay and Noah, who were professional, hard-working, and fantastic. Our neighbors had recommended Ethridge when our a/c went out. Andrew came out within hours of our call and evaluated the problem. He was great - matter of fact, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He recommended a new system to replace our decades old furnace and a/c, but was willing to schedule repairs if we had wanted to sink more money into it (we had an expensive repair last summer, so we didn’t want to keep going down that road). We decided to get a new, more efficient furnace and a/c. Ethridge then sent out installers Clay and Bobby, who were both very professional and personable. Maybe they are part of the A Team? The system Clay and Bobby installed is so quiet and cooled off our hot house so quickly. We are happy about that! Clay determined that our existing concrete pad was adequate for supporting the outdoor unit, so saved us almost $50. We appreciated them taking the initiative to test it out and determine a new support wasn’t needed. That is what we call customer service. We look forward to a good working relationship with Ethridge in the future. So far EVERY person representing their company has given us A+ service. We heartily recommended Ethridge.

I signed up for their service agreement and i’ll see them again in six months. All in all a great company to work with.

Mr. Ethridge is such a great guy. Each time, they were genuinely empathetic to fact that nobody’s having a good day when their AC breaks, and were more than fair in pricing. Yesterday, they came out to do annual service on that last AC unit, and their tech spent almost a whole extra hour with me - for FREE - to walk me through a water heater installation I was trying to do myself and was kinda in over my head on. The whole reason I opted to do that job myself was that one plumber quoted me $2k, and OnTime Service wanted $179 just to come out and offer a quote (no thanks). Needless to say, I trust Ethridge and would def recommend them.

I called and spoke with Becky (could have been Rebecca) in the office. She was very patient with me as I explained what was going on with my unit. I later learned that she obviously had taken really good notes based on the phone conversation I had a day later with the technician (wish Id gotten his name).The unit in question is at my house that is for sale. The buyers inspector (loosely used here) said the unit had a serious problem. I had the unit maintained twice per year (it is important to note that this twice yearly maintenance was not done by Ethridge) for each of the 10 years since the unit was installed so I didnt really believe that much could be wrong with it but was required to have it checked out.After thoroughly inspecting and testing the unit, the Ethridige technician called to let me know the unit was fine, in fact he found no problems at all.He could have easily gone with what the inspector said and the repairs or replacement could have made them a lot of money. But, this company chooses ethics and honesty and in doing so earned a customer.I recommend this company and I plan to contact them for a maintenance contract for my home because I know these folks will not take advantage of me.
