This is my second time calling Farid. Last time was in 2020. Both times we needed a drain cleared. Our utility sink filled up with some gunk and water. It stunk and it was after hours. Everyone else I called was either not available or was going to charger $700 or more.Turns out it was due to how we use our garbage disposal. He helped us understand that we needed to let the water run for longer after running the disposal so the food can be carried down the drain further. Since its the second time in 4 years, we’re going to have it hydro jetted.Farid is our go to guy. Highly recommend him.

10 stars if possible! It was 745pm on a Friday night and John came to our rescue within an hour. He did a great job diagnosing and fixing our problem (5 stars) but I am MOST impressed with how he left our home afterwards -- Ive never seen our laundry room basin that clean (I honestly didnt even think it was possible). Long story short, it was normal before the clog, absolutely disgusting after the clog (covered in grey water and grease), but practically brand new by the time John left (another 5 stars). John also had to access the branch line from the kitchen sink and my husband said John also scrubbed that area of the kitchen floor. He really cared about doing a great job! Washington Rooter -- youve got a customer for life.

There are few things less welcome than the realization that you have a clogged sewer line... I had a house full of relatives when suddenly everything started backing up. I was frantic to find someone to help, and was fortunate enough to find Farid and his team online. Right from our first conversation (he answered right away, which was great) I could tell that I was in good hands. He was on our property two hours later, and had cleared the blockage 15 minutes later. He also showed me several places where I had roots obstructing my pipes, and gave me a reasonable proposal for repairing the entire line so that I wouldnt keep getting the problem. After a few more hours of work, we now have a waste line that is completely clear.I highly recommend Farid and his team. He has been among the most responsive and reliable vendors Ive ever called on. He is outstanding at answering questions, fair in pricing, and excellent at documenting and communicating his work. No one likes sewer issues - but if you have one, call these guys to get it taken care of!

You can save a lot of time and frustration if you just call Wa Rooter. I spent a weekend, and $800 trying to get somebody to clesr my blocked sewer line. Contacted over half dozen rooer/plumber companies. They all wanted to sell me on a cleanout installation, as the only way to solve my problem. ($4,000 +)Faruk came out within a few hours of my call and took care of it. Great guy. I wish him health and a long life.The industry needs more honest plumbers like him.

I called Washington Rooter this morning, and Farid had a spot open in the afternoon. He was on time to practically the second, super courteous, wore a mask, and was done within 15 minutes. His unclog fee is a flat $330 plus tax and a 3 month guarantee, which is way better than other plumbers in this area.He had the sink draining better than it ever has in years within minutes, and cleaned up every bit of stray water that came out of my wall. My drain issue was complicated, but Sirous, the technician, kept trying different techniques. Due to the design we finally agreed a new clean out had to be added. Sirous made short work of cutting the iron vent pipe and adding a new clean out. My laundry tub now drains better than it has in years.

Woke up to a giant area in the kitchen ceiling where clearly something was leaking from the bathroom above. Called around at 645 am and Washington Rooter was the only one that answered and could come out the same day - he agreed to come out at 9 am. Farid and his partner cut open the ceiling and figured out the source of the problem - two toilets above were leaking due to two eroded wax seals. He replaced those seals and tightly affixed the toilets. He was even kind enough to loan me his high-powered fan for a couple of days to help the wood in the ceiling dry out. Farid was efficient and professional - Id definitely use him again!

We had a water leak from an aging water heater, and needed the problem fixed right away.After calling a few service providers, they all recommended to replace it with a new one due to its age and cost to repair, which makes sense (this isnt the first time I needed a new water heater, so I have some basic knowledge about them.)I decided to use Washington Rooter because they have immediate availability, and their quote came the lowest.They arrived promptly in the promised time window, got the work done fairly quickly, and cleaned up everything afterwards.On top of that, they gave me additional discount for items that was not needed. Furthermore, while their original quote was for an electric water heater which is about 10% less than quote for similar gas water heater, it turned out we needed a gas one - the mistake was mine as I insisted I needed an electric heater. In the end, they only charged me the cost for an electric heater.While I cannot vouch for the quality of work as I am not qualified to judge, and the work has only been done, I can say that the look the of the work is very professional (in my previous heater repair, I was educated on how a water heater installed in a garage must be on a stand, and must have strap around it for earthquake-proof etc.)I also chatted with them, and can say that theyre very professional, really put customer needs and concerns on top of everything else, are trust-worthy. I had experience working with electricians from both big companies and small - I can say that the big ones really cares about the $$ above everything else, and sometimes their worker are not very knowledgable.Would highly highly recommend Washington Rooter.

Weve had to install a new sink and water heater, fix pipes in crawlspace, and find irrigation valves for our sprinkler system and havent had an issue. Farid even came out on a weekend when he was off the clock to diagnose a problem, and when he wasnt able to fix it until he got parts the next day, refused payment for his time on his off day because he didnt fix the problem.
