My Tech Angel Ramos was wonderful. You can tell when someone love their job. He was polite caring and very knowledgeable. He explained and gave wonderful suggestions. He was excellent. His expertise was amazing. My husband and I were so impressed that we are getting additional services soon. I had a motor blower and ez trap install. I am so happy that we have heat now. Mr. Sherman Pinnock came out to my home within thirty minutes of me calling Michael and Son to check my water heater. Being seven months pregnant With two kids and a working husband… we needed hot water fast. He gave us quotes and spoke to us about financing. He came back once we made a decision bright and early the next morning at 8:30am sharp and got to work! We now have hot water and he was the perfect person to install and bring everything up to code! Our family appreciates his professionalism and quick communication during this time.

Our Technician Sherman arrived earlier than expected. He was very courteous and warm. He was very knowledgeable and provided options to fix my issue and prevent future occurances. He very efficiently solved my issues. My main issue was a leak on the hot water line under the kitchen sink.

Initially I wasnt overly happy with the cost. $500 to replace the shut off valve to the outside faucet. But once the tech started, he ended up replacing several items under the sink in addition to the shut off valve. Even made a run to Home Depot for a part he didnt have (not related to the shut off valve). Long story short, he spent over 6 hours when the initial estimate said between 1-2hours. I fully expected to see a larger price, and was preparing to fight it, but it wasnt necessary. He held true to the initial price quoted. Im sure this isnt normal practice, but the nice guy that showed up to my house was a very hard worker and obviously very knowledgeable in order to identify 3 additional items that needed to be replaced before they failed and I had a huge problem. This was my 2nd time using Michael & Son, and I wont hesitate to use them again. Great company, great people.

Michael was such a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to explain what the process would be for me to replace an aging water heater as well as the cost involved. He answered many of my questions regarding purchasing the water heater myself or allowing Michael and Son to do the entire job (purchase and install). I truly appreciated this information as a senior citizen in my 70’s. It will allow me to make an informed decision when I schedule the job. Michael is a credit to your company!

It was a messy job, so getting everything cleaned at the end was a task, but overall, he did a great job. He is very professional, and I would recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Elijah from Micheal & Sons showed up on time. He was friendly and quite helpful. In addition to completing the needed repairs he made suggestions in a non pushy way about other things that he noticed in the basement. The next day water stopped working throughout the house. I called thinking that something wasnt quite right about the turn on of the water at the meter. Michael who was also very friendly was sent out. It turned out to be a water main break in the neighborhood. I had a couple of times called in reference to the water outage and mixed messages about the arrival time. I was not rude but obviously upset both times the office staff was calm and empathetic.

Again, fortunately Michael & Son Heating and Cooling system person by the name of Angel Ramos allowed me to see some good and honest workers that are still out there in the world. Nick, the service technician, arrived within the earlier end of the appointment window- hooray! Completed the inspection and tune-up of my HVAC system in a timely manner. He explained his findings including pictures to show me exactly what he had concern about. I strongly dislike being pressured by service personnel to do more than what i originally requested service for. Thankfully Nick respected my declining of all his recommended additional services and service plans 🙂 Ill continue to use Michael and Sons for future needs and recommend them to others.

I had an issue with a leak in my basement ceiling. I originally had reach out to another company but wanted to get a second opinion based on the price. Michael and Son not only beat their price but was available on the weekends and was very efficient. The technician Elijah Hawkins was amazing. While trying to find the problem he walked me through everything that he was doing. I would recommend Michael and Son and will definitely be using them for any of my plumbing or HVAC needs. Kenneth was my tech sent by Michael & Son to service my heating system. Kenneth arrives as scheduled, introduced himself and proceeded to do the assigned maintenance on my system. He was very kind and caring. He took his time and when he was done he explained to me what he had done. He even went the extra mile and cleaned the dust and debris from around the system. I appreciated and thanked him for his thoughtfulness. He even addressed some additional concerns that I had. I highly recommend Kenneth for his expertise, his knowledge of HVAC, and his caring about the people he serve.

Nick was mild-mannered and polite. He listened to me vent about a previous traumatic experience with the company and maintained his focus on the problem. He appeared to be knowledgeable and gave me a detailed explanation and demonstration as to why my 2 year old boiler wasn’t working properly. He was able to locate and pick up the replacement part. Instead of rescheduling, he returned promptly, replaced the part, waited and checked each baseboard to reassure me that the problem was fixed. After waiting a week for service, my anxiety was high and I was expecting to be disappointed with the service. Nick assured me of my warranty. I was relieved, didn’t spend all day waiting, and went to work happy. As the snow started to fall, I smiled with assurance that when I got home my house would be warm. Thank you, Nick!

That repair requires some parts he didnt have on hand, but we have a follow up appointment for that. The price was very reasonable as well.

I recently had a restoration technician come out to my house to determine the best way to repair an exterior plumbing leak, the solution of which is not visible from the outside of the house. His name is Paul Dias and his knowledge and skill in assessing the situation and figuring out what will need to be done was outstanding. At one point, he had to move furniture and things stored under the stairwell next to the outside wall and his care and professionalism in handling everything that needed to be relocated was stellar. He went above and beyond when it was time to put things back and even swept the floor for me before he proceeded to carefully restore everything to its rightful place. He determined that the next step will involve the plumbing department and I am looking forward to meeting them tomorrow, and I am confident that they will also do an excellent job . Michael and Sons, you guys have great people working for you and you should be very proud!!!

BLUF: I highly recommend.Had an emergency plumbing issue at 4:30pm. Michael & Son is thankfully open 24hrs, Elijah (the plumber) was able to come over and fix the issue. It took as long as it needed to be fixed 100%, which meant he was here for a few hours. However when he left our residence the plumbing emergency was 100% fixed and I felt amazingly confident in his work and the pipes working at full capacity.Bottom line: I recommend Michael & Son Service.

Over the past several years we have bad luck with plumbers sent by American Home Shield. When we were debating should we trust AHS to send another incompetent plumber, my granddaughter started singing the Michael & Sons jingle. We called and had our problem fixed. Since then we call Michael and Sons for plumbing issues. This time the technician was Elijah Hawkins. We found Elijah to be very personable and professional for such a young man. He worked quickly and explained his process in layman’s terms. I think if it is possible if I need Michael & Sons again for plumbing, I will request Elijah.

Hes only come for the estimate so far but I think the pricing was about middle ground for what we are getting done. Our technician Elijah was extremely thorough and thoughtful. We made the leap and enrolled in their maintenance program which turned out to be beneficial because not only was our water pressure regulator broken, but our sump pump had failed as well. Thanks to Elijah, we were able to get the regulator replaced and he set up a follow up appointment for the sump pump to be replaced the very next day. I was skeptical about paying the monthly fee, but so far its been a good investment for first time buyers who inherited various problems from aging homes/Covid purchases.

I was attempting to find out if a switch near my front door was a single switch only because there was a second switch that appeared to do nothing. Logan suggested that I get a full diagnostic for $269.00 and I agreed. The original price for coming out was $69.00. After looking under the switch plate he discovered that the wire was too short to make the connection. Thus the end result was that the switch stayed the same way it was.

Senior Service Technician diagnosed the problem and ordered the new part. Excellent follow-up.The technician didn’t know why the “check air handler” was flashing. He offered several possibilities including air circulation problem which could should have cleared with the air filter change. We discussed air duct cleaning which was already done. Two days later the “check air handler” code is back on and I have no AC. Customer service cannot offer me an appointment for a week and suggested that I didn’t follow the tech recommendations toget air duct cleaning. The unit only ran for 1/2 a day. I think there was a lot of upsell and not a lot of fixing my problem.

I purchase my home in 2023 and all of my large appliances in my home are at least 3 to 4 years old at the most. A few months back i started notice water pooling in the pan under my water heater. I orginally called Len the pumber and got a technician that told me my 3 year old water heater had to be replace. Something didnt right to me so never called back. The problem stop for a while and just started up again. This time I called Michael and sons and they sent out a technician named MJ. The guy was amazing. He told me what could be the cause of the problems, gave me options on how to rectify it, and throughout the process never made me feel pressured to opt into Michaels and sons additional service subscription. When I called for a plumber, I assumed it would cost me some money I didnt want to give up but MJ didnt try to scare me into paying for an over priced fix, he explained the issue and answer my questions, gave me options and allowed me to make a decision that fit my budget. I am truly grateful for his assistance. Five stars all day.

I had an earlier experience with Elijah Hawkins in March when a pipe in my laundry room spontaneously burst. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient about the work that needed to be done at that time. He was also respectful of my property and interacted in a very professional manner. It was because of my interaction with him in March that I knew I wanted him to do the work when I decided to be proactive and replace my 25 year old water heaters. Elijah again demonstrated all the qualities I mentioned above, and I wouldn’t hesitate to have him do any additional work as needed.

UPDATE 10/10/24:Elijah came out today to follow up on an issue with my sump pump (thankfully it turned out to be minor) 😅. He called ahead to give me his ETA and get a better idea of the issue before he arrived. He was super polite and friendly and immediately put his shoe covers on…which I love…AND he took them on and off whenever he went in and out 💕 . His overall professionalism was topnotch! He listened and investigated what I was telling him and even took pictures of what he found to make sure he could give me the best explanation of what was going on.The resolution of my issue was simple and he didn’t inflate it. He just took care of it and kept me informed as necessary until the job was complete.BOTTOM LINE: I am ALWAYS happy when I call Michael and Sons…you all know what you’re doing, you’re fair and honest, and you hire folks like Elijah! Keep up the good work!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽✊🏾###Nicky my technician was very professional, prompt and to the point. I was in the middle of a work-from-home day so I appreciated that very much! He told me what the issue was and the options for fixing it. No pressure to do the thing that was more expensive. I LOVE THAT! I will definitely call them for future plumbing needs thanks to Nicky my technician! I dont leave reviews often but I was very impressed with him and wanted to share!

Informed Dave my dryer would not stay on. At 3pm he put the cable into the power panel, ran it to the location of the dryer, installed the 4 prong receptacle. Then heinstalled the 4 pronged plug on back of the dryer and plugged it in. AT 3PM I DRYED MY FIRST LOAD IN DAYS. LAST LOAD WAS PUT IN THE DRYER AT 7:30PM. He re-labled the error on the power panel. Installed power panel controlled fire fire fire to alert me. And installed CFI plugs in the house..baths, kitchen and appliances. $93991.64 well spent.The end..
