Firs time using Julian. It was the day after Christmas and we had a leak from the master bath. He came out promptly in the morning, and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He thoroughly explained what steps he would take, and took the time to answer all our questions. He also fixed a separate issue with a toilet. His pricing was fair and reasonable. Would highly recommend Julian for your plumbing needs!

We hired Julian at Pipe Doctor Plumbing twice already this year to do two different jobs for us and both came out great. The first one was an emergency replacement of our shower valve because it got to a state where we could not use it and were left without a shower for a couple of days. Julian was very quick to schedule us and did a great job installing the new shower valve and hardware. It looked like a difficult job because there was no good access to the shower valve through the walls so access had to be made through the tile. The second job was to replace our old and leaking water heater. Were beyond happy with the work and highly recommend Julians professional services.

Julian was excellent. Really appreciated all the time and thoroughness. We contacted Julian to look at one leak and he did a full walkthrough of our home to look over and address a few other concerns we had. He was spent a a good amount of time with us answering questions, teaching, and then did a very thorough job fixing the problems identified.I felt that the pricing was fair, the jobs we had done were a little pricier than expected, but the quality and service cannot be beaten and well worth it. Would strongly recommend contacting Julian for any plumbing work.

We recently had 3 new toilets installed at our home. I found Pipe Doctor (Julian) by relying on google reviews such as this. The reviews did not disappoint me. Julian was very thorough with his walk-through and with answering my questions and concerns. He gave me excellent product recommendations and options (within my desired budget range). He was very prompt and very clean/organized. He provided excellent consultation throughout the process. We are highly satisfied with the quality of his work (and the price was very reasonable). I will definitely use the Pipe Doctor for my future needs.

I recently purchased a home and needed a few plumbing issues taken care of. After reading the other reviews and visiting his website, I gave Julian a call to setup an appointment. I was glad to see that he had several reviews whereas others only had a few (or one), and that every single review was five stars. Now, I understand why. Julian arrived on time, professionally dressed, in a vehicle showing pride in his business. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and absolutely reasonably priced. There were no questionable bait-and-switch or up-selling tactics. He has an extensive menu of services/parts so you know hes not making things up on the spot, and hes happy to discuss what your options are for a given situation or issue. There were a few things he took care of for me today: replacing faulty leaky washing machine valves and hoses, replacing a leaky hose spigot outside and the seized-up shut-off valve inside, and removing an end-of-life reverse osmosis water filtration system then repairing the pipe that had been pierced to tap the water supply. Julian was thorough in his work, cleaned up after his work was done, and was conscious of keeping my place clean while he was in and out to his vehicle. I will definitely call The Pipe Doctor for my plumbing needs in the future. Hes earned the five star reviews you see here, including this one, and I would recommend him without hesitation! (Bonus for being dog-friendly, too.)

Found myself without water which is never good. Called Pipe Doctor after hours, first thing next morning Julian returned my call and we scheduled an appointment the next day. He arrived at my house promptly as promised, discussed all the different options clearly and we settled on a plan. He was able to make the repairs the same day and things are back up and running. Julian was friendly, knowledgeable and polite with an eye for doing the job right. I would highly recommend him and his work.

I would highly recommend Julian for any of your plumbing services! We did an entire home renovation in which Julian not only completed all of the major plumbing for our remodeled bathroom, but provided suggestions as to where it made the most sense for our new shower, sinks and toilet to go in order to save money. He continued to install our water heater and has helped to fix both major and minor plumbing issues since our remodel. In an industry where it is hard to get contractors to commit and show up on time, Julian was always reliable, returning phone calls and completing jobs when he said he would and in a timely manner. Ive recommended him to a number of people, who are also 100% satisfied!

Weve used him for a variety of services from installing a utility tub, water filtration systems and installing new faucets in our kitchen, bathroom and outside. I called at 4:45pm right before a snowstorm and Julian came to the rescue 20 minutes later!!!!!!!! We had a pipe that busted in our basement due to the previous owner, or contractor she hired, hitting the copper pipe with a nail while nailing molding. Eventually it gave out...right before most businesses close and snow.I cannot recommend him enough! He was completely upfront about emergency call out price and even gave me a ballpark via phone as far as what I could expect to fix copper pipe.We will be using him for our future bathroom remodel plumbing next year.

TL;DR: I frankly cannot say how much I appreciate finding Julian, aka, the Pipe Doctor! WOW! Hired, and would again! 5+ Stars! I have a 1949 Cape Cod with a full bath upstairs that had been renovated by the previous owner shortly before sale (i.e., 8 - 10 years ago). However, the shower hardware was still the old school three handle setup with Hot/Diverter/Cold handles. The cold handle had snapped off, and there was little stem left coming out of the tile wall, leaving me no other option than pliers to operate the cold water. I had out professionals in the past year and never received any feasible options that were less than a $5K+ new shower rebuild basically. This was via some of the larger well-known companies in the area. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and I was turned on to HA, did a query for plumbing services in the Hartford area, and had three plumbers out to look at the problem, two of which provided quotes. Julian was the second pro to come out, and the only one to suggest doing the work via the plumbing access panel in the adjacent master bedroom. This was despite a cast iron vent pipe that was directly in the way of the area needing access, that seemed to be of great concern to the other two pros that looked at the job. Julian didnt balk, proposing a rather obvious cut-access-replace option for the said vent pipe. His confidence was all I needed to feel comfortable with doing so, and thus not going through the shower tile side with the additional mess, and challenge of finding suitable replacement tile. I got a chance to peek at his pipe work and it was beyond neat and highly-skilled. The end product was a new Delta one-handle system and replacement spout w/ built-in diverter. The renovation plate is stylish and compliments the rest of the new hardware while also covering any signs of what was there before. I couldnt be happier with the work and value for what I paid! I whole heartedly endorse Julians work and would gladly hire him again for anything that is plumbing related. He is also clean cut, and extremely nice and professional. I never even thought twice about leaving my house while he was there alone doing the work. Five stars and a sixth if it was an option! Stop looking and hire this guy now!

Weve used The Pipe Doctor on a few occasions and i am always caught off guard by how he goes above and beyond. I cannot stress how comfortable I am having him in my home with my 3 year old and 18 month old children running around like theres a party going on. They literally look forward to any Pipe Doctor visit. The professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. Ive had them perform jobs for my parents and even my Mother, who is the biggest clean freak you will ever meet and even she was blown away by his services. If you want something done right the first time, there is only one company for the job.

Woke up to a leaking hot water tank and contacted Pipe Doctor after seeing good reviews online. Reviews were spot on as Julian was fantastic. Responded to our call quickly and moved some non-urgent appointments around to fit us in. 5 hours after stepping in a puddle of water in our basement we now have a brand new tank installed for a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent Experience! Let me start by saying that I was pretty skeptical in hiring someone to come to replace my water heater since the previous week I had just paid a plumbing company to fix my water heater and obviously they did not! So, from the very start Julian was very pleasant to talk to and he talked me through all my options. I had also asked about a tankless water heater and he walked me through all the pros and cons. He also did a follow up call to see if I had made any decisions and let me know his availability. He even offered to come at night to drain my tank that was leaking just to make sure I wouldnt have any unwanted damage to my home. I felt the personal follow-up and level of concern for me was HUGE since I was having a hard time getting other larger companies to call me back just for a quote. I also explained to him how the other company from last week charged me for something they didnt do which was to unclog my sons tub. He did this for me at no charge out of kindness. He also identified a problem after installing the water heater that I know was legitimate as I have brought this potential problem up to two separate plumbers one last week and one last year and they both blew off my concerns. I am happy to know that going forward I have someone I can really trust for all my plumbing needs. Also, I have never seen a plumbers truck so organized and neat, and as put together as Julian was. HIGHLY Recommend!! He is LOCAL, trust worthy, personable and reasonably priced and owns the business himself. Im all for supporting small businesses and with this one is a Winner!
