Steven was great. I needed to replace a faulty sump pump. He was punctual, pleasant to work with and he did a good job educating me on the features and warning lights on the pump. Unfortunately one of the controller boxes arrived defective, he gave me his number to call if the alarm went off (it did later that day). He came out on his day off the next day to replace it. It’s been working great since. I would definitely use him again. This is the 4th unit I have replaced at this house and he is the best plumber I have had installing it.

I have a bathroom in my hallway that shares a main drain with the bathroom in our master bedroom, I noticed it started to slow down in both bathrooms then it just stopped both sinks 1/2 full of water on Christmas Eve , guests expected.I called several localPlaces all of which had hefty service fees, lastly I called ROTO-ROOTER.-No fee of any kind to show up, and if I didn’t like the quote I could wish him/her well and send them on their way.All said and done, I paid only a little more than the others service fee. Most importantly was the service, quality of work and professionalism from our technician Matt S. #8106 (I’m being specific so he gets the credit he deserves). He showed up 15 minutes early, I don’t like shoes in my house he had his shoe covers on before I even asked. Yes sir/ ma’am, and because he’s observant he noticed my veteran sticker and applied a little discount on Christmas Eve, all of which with a smile 😊 the day before Christmas when he could be home with his new little boy. The customer service was excellent and you all got to my house quickly. The dispatcher was also very good. She kept me posted on delays, which I liked, because most times you just have to sit there and wait until the service person gets to your house. Finally, the price was fair and worth it. I especially appreciate his sense of humor and empathy throughout the process as we are first time homeowners. We were so thankful to have Roto-Rooter come to our help after we had a plumbing emergency on a Saturday night. Our plumber, Stephan, provided us with so much knowledge while he was helping which as first time homeowners is invaluable. Stephan was able to promptly discover and fix the immediate issue and effectively communicated with us to ensure that before he left we were comfortable with the state of our plumbing. He was able to conveniently return to our home first thing the next morning to continue addressing our problem after we had to press pause the night before. As first time home owners, him and the Roto-Rooter team were able to come to our aid during a stressful moment and we are super appreciative for their service! If we have future plumbing concerns we will definitely be calling them again.

I manage multiple rental houses in town. Last night, one of the houses I manage had a terrible basement water backup. It appeared that the main drain line was completely clogged. Two months ago after the owner bought this house, we had a 100-ft cable snake job done because of a slow drain. Initially, I thought we had to snake the drain again. But none of my handymen can make it today, and the water backup seemed to worsen this afternoon. Plumbing companies are pricey. Unless something serious happens, they are not my top picks. But my gut feeling told me to call Roto-Rooter. I hired them twice in 2022 for another rental house with a similar situation. Within 10 min I received a confirmation a plumber was on the way. Pretty soon, Dyan (720) showed up. His truck is equipped with two big cable snake machines. After checking, Dylan explained that his machine could not get close enough to the clear-out because it was in the crawl space. The best option was hydrojetting. Dylan was very reasonable, so I decided to take his recommendation. About 20 min later, his co-worker John Wilson drove a big utility truck here, and he turned out to be a very experienced jetter. John explained everything to me in front of a big sewer camera screen, which was very educational. There were tree roots, big and small, growing into the clay pipe joint place in 6-7 places, and there was also some degree of displacement in one of the pipe joint places. John wiped them out using high-pressure jet water with Dylan’s assistance. Pretty soon, water started running towards the floor drain. Because there was so much mushy toilet paper floating everywhere. It could take my husband and me 3-4 hours to get the floor cleaned up, so John offered help. By using the hydro jet, John got most of the sewer water/floating toilet paper cleaned up for us. His one-extra mile work helped us a great deal. Yes, hydro-jetting costs almost twice as much as the cable snake job, but the Roto-Rooter team is equipped with a powerful machine system that can do so much better than a snake job to clean out the tree roots and everything else that clogs the drain pipe. I feel very lucky to have two excellent plumbers working for my best interest, with the results being much better than I anticipated.Roto-rooter is a great plumbing company, which I highly recommend to my network friends and whoever reads my reviews.

My water heater broke and I called around on a Friday night in a pinch. RR was available and sent someone within a few hours. Vernon was very knowledgeable and professional and explained all options. He fired up my heater but it went out after he left. I called him and he said he could fully replace it the next morning. It’s an old heater so it was time and I agreed let’s do it.The price was fairly high for the labor and parts but he advised the heater was top quality and his work was also quick, efficient, and good quality so in the end I was ok with the pricing. He stood by the product he installed and if I ever had any issue I could call him back to resolve free of charge. I would recommend roto rooter to anyone in need of good quality service especially if you’re in a jam like I was.

I had a major clog in my house and needed my main sewer line cleared both inside my home and out to the street. Roto Rooter was able to get this job done. Late in the evening the technician was able to arrive at 9 PM and finished at around 11 PM. This allowed me to have this problem addressed immediately and allowed myself and my wife a quick resolution to a serious problem. I also have to say that I am disabled and often times workers don’t take the time to explain, or show what they’re doing before they do it. Brandon, the technician who worked tonight, took the time to make sure that all of my questions were answered and even went as far as to explain how to locate my clean out in case I would need further worked on by either another technician, or someone from the city , I also must say that the price was very fair not only was the price flat rated, which made it easy to understand that no matter what happened I wasn’t going to be charge some thing I couldn’t afford but also the work was warranted and that gave me and my wife peace of mind that in the event that the job Needed to be re-addressed that we had coverage for the time being. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any emergency plumbing services. They provide very professional service and or affordable. I discovered a small leak under the bathroom sink, so I called and asked to schedule with Paul again. The scheduler told me that he would be out the same day between 2-6. At 6, I called to find out what was going on and was told my appointment was actually scheduled for the next day between 3-5. This is the second time I had trouble with scheduling. I dont get the impression the schedulers know whats going on locally. From a customer’s perspective, I’d much rather deal with a local scheduler who knows what is going on. Paul was again excellent. I have no issue with the service itself, but something needs to be done about the scheduling system!

Prices seemed a bit high - but a 6mo. warranty makes up for it a bit.

He listened carefully to how I described the issue and the solution I wanted, and he quickly confirmed the problem and gave me an estimate. He got parts and came back within 30 minutes, with only another 30 minutes to finish the repair after that.He was friendly and professional throughout the job, always ready to answer my questions. He even stayed after the repair while I was testing the faucets around the house and helped me find a valve that was half closed (probably from our panic in turning off water when we saw the leak!). I was initially nervous about using a larger plumbing company, but Roto Rooter’s availability and Paul’s work won me over. Great experience all around.

I lost my husband 2 years ago, this flooding was a very catastrophic event for me Because he always took care of these things. Drake Savage was the service tech who responded to my off hour call. He came and assessed the situation, called his supervisor, Jason Charles, and they were very responsive & respectful of my very emotional state. They guided me through the process and though I couldn’t get financing they were very patient while I lined up funding. Then, Drake Savage spent the next 3 days-Saturday, Sunday, Monday-excavating, repairing, cleaning up an old and broken sewerage pipe. He was patient, explained everything as he went and worked with my brother-in-law to make sure I understood everything. He was a work horse, performing very manual, heavy labor alone. He also called and set up for the water restoration consult. He even remembered it was my birthday on Monday after having heard it only once on Saturday! He is a phenomenal young man. I almost didn’t call Roto Rooter because I was afraid the company was too big and would do only fair work. Drake made me so grateful for having called your company. He is an asset and if all your service techs are like him then it’s no surprise your company has been around as long as it has been. Geoff and Marco (as well as their 3rd worker) did a fantastic job. Very professional, provided great information about the issue and what was going on. Recorded the optical snake feed on my cell phone and had an overall great experience. Not sure on prices specifically, but they are professionals and the total bill was expected and worth it. Thats why were all not plumbers :)

Had a hot water heater break on a Friday, or at least that is when I found it. Called Roto-Rooter that evening and they had someone out the next day at 8 AM. The service/installation tech was awesome and was very thorough in explaining everything to me. Did a great job and and ill be requesting him specifically for any future work.
