On 12/18/23, my town got roughly 5 inches of rain. Well, the following morning I awake to discover that my basement had flooded. After freaking out for a few minutes I got to work getting the water out(small submersible pump and shop vacs). It was after we got almost all of the water up that the true problem was found, ground water was still coming up through a crack in the floor. I knew at this point I needed help.So I started making phones calls to any company I thought could help. Unfortunately every call was the same, a quick no or just a voicemail. Ironically, it took my older sister, who happens to live in Germany, to find CT Dry Basements information. By the time I called them I was in a panic and will admit to be crying. They were understanding and had a tech out to my home within 2 hours to assess the situation.From the moment Chris arrived he was polite and empathetic to my situation. Rather than upselling me on something that was not absolutely needed, he was able to get the original price down by almost $500, with less than a week to Christmas, this was very helpful! The sub pump was able to be installed the very next morning!I cannot express how truly grateful I am to CT Dry Basements for being there when I needed them! Thank you so much!

I had a few companies come out and give me estimates. Certain companies had a full proof, apocalyptic preparedness system that cost astronomical amounts of money, while this one was the most realistic. CT dry basements (also affiliated with a Massachusetts company) offered a system that would do the job without anything fancy or overpriced. Two cast iron pumps, new piping, and they hooked in one of my downspouts. They were very professional, and were in and out of my house in a little under 4 hrs

Excellent follow up service. Theyinstalled a new sump pump ( whichwas pricey) a couple months ago. I began to notice a thud sound when it shut off and a spray of water. I called around 930 and they had a technician out here at 1100. He replaced a bad check valve, no charge. Maybe I was lucky and called at the right time but you really cant beat that service!

Rich and his crew were great to deal with! And their quote came in less than competitors in the area, which I was very happy with. CT Dry Basements was very timely in their email and phone call correspondence. They were very prompt in responding for a quote and setting up the construction date. Construction took less than a day. I was very happy with the results of the sump pump and perimeter drain installation. We immediately saw results in our basement. After recieveing a number of quotes to have my crawlspace cleaned out and encapsulated, I decided to go with Connecticut Dry Basements. I did so based on price, reviews and the fact that Rich, who came out to quote the work, was straightforward, priced out only what I asked for and made no attempt to upsell me. After having the work done I feel confident that I made the right choice. Jorge, the crew leader, was fast, responsive and really went the extra mile. The space is now clean, sealed, free of mold and after last nights rain storm, still completely dry. I cannot recommend Connecticut Dry Basements enough!

When our sump pump quit working last Thursday, I called Connecticut Dry Basements and left a message. They got back to me right away and had someone out the next day to replace it. CT Dry Basements is an incredible organization. We had an issues with water in our basement and the CT Dry Basement team reacted quickly to our inquiry. The team presented themselves in a professional way and was able to diagnose the issues and provide a plan (including installation of a sump pump and coating of our basement walls). The provided a very reasonable cost for their services. They were able to accommodate my schedule and provide their service in a timely fashion. The team showed up, quickly got to work. Upon complete, they left the basement clean. In short, the service provided was cost effective, timely, extremely professional and the outcome was a Dry Basement!! We used CT Dry Basements to fix a leak, replace a new bulkhead and repair a crack. They were very responsive, professional, and efficient. Ill be keeping their number on my refrigerator for sure. Rich & Christina were excellent about maintaining open communication, which shouldnt be taken for granted, these days. Rich came through for a quote, and while I expected him to drop a ridiculous number on me to help fix my leaky rubble stone foundation, he was very genuine in his advice, realistic about his numbers, and confident in his knowledge. I will certainly recommend this company to others in the future.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company. The appraisal of the job, to finishing the repair took less than 24 hours. The 2 technicians were nice, explained the steps of the repair to the crack in the basement wall, took off the covering wallboard carefully, and were able to replace it without damage. Neatly done! I am totally impressed with the great service received!!

I had a old wood hatchway door to the basement and a crack in the foundation on the other side of the house. I called these guys on a recommendation from a friend and Rich, the owner of the company, came by. He blew me away with his knowledge. He gave me a quote the next day that was much lower than I expected and his guys were on the job a few days later. They removed the old door and all the debris from the job and were in and out in a day. I have one dry in the basement ever since. I highly recommend these guys

When I first met Rich and spoke to him about the problem I was having with my basement. Rich explained to me exactly what I needed to do to fix it. He gave me a complete time frame of the work that needed to be done as well as the cost. His crew showed up on the day we scheduled are appointment on time and started the job. Later on that afternoon Rich stopped in to make sure everything was done and that I was happy with the repair. It feels great not to have to worry about water getting in on the floor. WOW - if I were a writer I would write a #1 selling novel about the AWESOME job Connecticut Dry Basement did on waterproofing my cellar and installing a new cellar hatchway. I have only one regret and that is why didnt we do this years ago. What a wonderful treat to walk now into a dry cellar with no worries about my washer and dryer and the furnace. Rich was fantastic in organizing. Everything was done on time with no procrastination. If there were 10 stars, that is what I would give this group from Plainville, CT.

He was exceptionally through and explained several treatment options. He even went so far as to recommend the least expensive alternative. The work was performed on time and exactly as promised. This company gets 5 out of 5 and then some. These guys delivered on everything they said they would. My basement is as dry as a bone. Rich and his crew were there on the day and time agreed on and they got down to business right away. Professional, friendly, knowledgable crew.When they finished it was like they were never there. I live in and old house. Years ago I had an issue with my basement. It was very damp and causing a lot of aggravation. I called the owner and spoke to him in depth about my options. He suggested a Humidex system which Ive had a for a few years now and we are very satisfied. Low energy cost and moves the air through and drys it out.Last year I had some flooding. Water started coming in a couple of areas of my foundation. Again, the owner and his crew came in and patched all the joints of the foundation, water proofed the wall, installing a liner and installed perimeter drain along with a sump pump. I had a tricky spot too at the hatchway and just to be sure they added a grate attached perimeter drain. All the guys were really professional and respectful. Each day after worked they cleaned up after themselves and put all of their equipment in a nice neat pile so I didnt trip over anything. I would definitely have them back if need be but I hope I dont!
