Absolutely loved working with this team! Filip and Ellie were amazing. We had some very specific ideas we were trying to achieve with our dining room and kitchen lighting, and they did a great job accommodating us and getting the job done efficiently and at a great price! It was a big job, 20+ foot ceilings, with old commercial lighting to remove and lots of custom units to install - yet the work was completed within 1 day and exactly the way we wanted. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Atlanta area.

Where to even begin?! Had a giant tree limb fall in my yard the other night that tore the electrical panel clear off of the house! GA power came and cut the lines and just told me to find an electrician at midnight. I had no idea what to do, but called Aardvark in the morning and Filip was dispatched to my house in just a couple of hours (I called other companies and the best they could do was get someone out in a few days). I was so grateful to Filip for helping me to navigate the daunting task of coordinating permits, inspections and getting GA power to come back the SAME day to hook the power line back to the new panel. Filip worked long past quitting time to get a new panel installed same day - and less than 48 hours later, I am back on the grid!! Filip and Aardvark’s comprehensive inspection process provided me with a full assessment of the damage and worked with me on options for repairs and needed upgrades in an extremely honest and transparent manner. Oh, AND the guys went above and beyond providing a generator, portable AC - and even cut up the fallen limb for me! I can’t say enough great things about the service and quality craftsmanship - truly first rate! I am so glad that other Google reviews recommended Aardvark! Their commitment to quality and customer service is on a level all their own - and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service and high quality work. Manny and Blake were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Really top notch. Pricing is transparent. My suggestion is to ask about specific pricing for the work you need done before you schedule the appointment. I havent hired an electrician in a long time, so I dont know how Aardvark compares on price, but in general many of the options were very expensive. Thats not to say they were overpriced -- theyre likely in the ballpark of what other electricians would charge -- but if price is a key driver of your decision, Id find out first what the possible or likely charges are from Aaardvark and do some comparison shopping. That said, though, the service -- both from the technicians on site and the office -- is exceptional. They even helped me resolve an issue I was having with a manufacturer of the breakers in my house and helped me get back hundreds of dollars. So, in many ways, you get what you pay for -- and electrical work in general can be pricey. All in all a great experience and Id recommend them; just be prepared that electrical work costs a good bit.

We contacted Aardvark Electric to give us a full estimate on all the concerns addressed in our home inspection. Manny and his apprentice were punctual, professional, polite, friendly and answered all of our questions and concerns. They spent at least 90 minutes thoroughly looking over everything brought up in the home inspection, a couple more concerns of our own, and at our request they helped prioritize repairs based on what is most critical for a safe home. They gave us estimates to do all of the work at once, each one on its own, scenarios in between, and explained their financing options.Were also very impressed with Aardvarks thorough and frequent training of their employees and the fact that their employees seem very happy and proud to work at Aardvark Electric. The person who answers the phone at Aardvark is also always very prompt and cheerful in answering calls. Aardvark really seems to have a great team of people who sincerely care about the service they provide. When were ready to get these repairs scheduled we will very likely call Aardvark. Remus has done great work for us. He installed on new breaker box, ran new wires, installed new outlets and things I am sure i am forgetting. He is incredibly thorough and goes out of his way to explain everything he sees that needs to be done. Most recently, we had an issue with the outlet for our disposal (which he had not previously worked on) and he was out at 7:45am the next morning and had it fixed inside a half an hour. Remus is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend him for anything you might need done (and the things you dont know about yet!)

We contacted Aardvark after the electrician that we often use told us he was booked out 2 months. The work we needed was the installation of 2 chandeliers and 4 ceiling lights. I initially was thrown of by the service charge just to have someone come out for a quote but felt better when Manny arrived and let me know that it included a walkthrough and health check for the electrical system. The price was a bit higher than the other electrician but Manny was very professional and said he could start work that day. The job took a little more time than expected with one of the chandeliers being higher than the other so Manny had to return the next day with a taller ladder. Blake joined Manny for the final part of the install and was just as professional and considerate of our time. Overall, very happy with the results and would use Aardvark in the future.

Elie solved every electrical problem we had and was clearly exceptionally knowledgeable. I would rate his service 5 stars for sure. My only quibble (and why this is a 4-star rather than 5-star review) is with the way they price their jobs. Each job has its own diagnostic fee, which then becomes a flat fee for that issue, regardless of whether that takes him 5 minutes to fix or 5 hours. I can understand the rationale for that from his side and surely there are cases where it comes out to the customers advantage, if a job turns out to take longer than he would have anticipated. But in our case at least it meant paying a lot more that it would likely have cost priced by the hour, because the problems turned out to be relatively easy for him to solve. But again, I feel they did excellent and professional work.

Business as usual (in a good way!).In terms of past work, Elchanan (the owner and Master Electrician) always came in a timely manner and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it.Elchanan is able to not only create his handiwork from scratch, he is able to go in and fix other peoples mistakes - and correct them to code. Were specifically used Aardvark to:(1) Install indoor outlets, switches and wiring(2) Install outdoor outlets, switches and wring(3) Install 3 outdoor free-standing lamps (which included anchoring to the ground in cement and burying wire)(4) Install an outdoor fan (which included creating a mini-roof above the fan to anchor it to the pergola and all associated wiring)Aardvark prides itself in going after the Apple model of handiwork: the inside should look aesthetically as pleasing as the outside: if you care about how the inside looks then the handiwork will be better overall quality. When Elchanan showed me what his switch boxes looked like vs. the other guy originally did - it was no contest.Like I mentioned earlier, we are in the middle of doing a major addition/renovation to our home and we are using Aardvark for the electric job. Its a big job that will involve changing out our panel and installing a lot of new items - as well as repairing some older issues from other past electricians.Bottom line: Aardvark Electric is your electrician.

We had a problem with the power being out in one of our rooms. The breaker was tripped and would not reset. I called Aardvark, our go-to company whenever we have any electrical work to be done. Filip came out and quickly determined that there was a problem in one of the outlets or switches. Recent construction practice is to use outlets and switches that allow a stripped wire to simply be plugged into the rear of the device, saving time by not having to connect the wiring to the screees terminals. A wire had come loose in one of the receptacles, causing a continuous problem that did not allow the breaker to reset. In order to insure we did not have a repeat of the problem, we decided to have all the wiring on the main floor re-done with new switches and plugs wired to the screw terminals, not just stubbed- in to the back of the fixture. Philip and Tony worked diligently on the project, which took two days. They discovered additional loose wiring connections as part of the work, plus a nicked wire that could have caused a problem. Philip also installed a couple of extra outlets to allow for additional devices to be plugged in in the T V area and a location where we charge our hand- held devices. They had the experience to know what needed to be done and replaced over 150 switches and outlets! We feel a lot better about our whole system knowing it was done and done correctly!
