My family has used the services of 50 States Electric for many years, and we highly recommend their work. They have done so many electrical jobs for us that have helped us with problems, as well as installing beautiful fixtures, chandeliers, and landscape lighting. There is nothing that 50 States cannot fix or install! They do amazing work and are extremely careful and highly professional. We always call on Gerald at 50 States whenever we have an electrical problem or question. They respond quickly and they arrive on time, every time. We highly recommend this company to the Atlanta area!

I cannot thank Gerald enough!! Very honest, prompt, professional, he went way out of his way to help me deal with GA Power (after thorough inspection of my house to determine the issue was most likely on GA Power end). Gerald is more than willing to help you (beyond your expectation!), very calm, kind, polite, unselfish, reasonable charge, with solid knowledge and skills. As the company claims, it truly gave me peace of mind during this difficult situation (my issue, instability of electric flow throughout the house, turned out to be transformer failure of GA Power line, affecting my neighbors on the same street also. Lady across the street went to other electric company and spent her fortune to replace her entire electric system which didnt solve the issue. When I contacted Gerald with the same issue, he told me to first contact GA Power to have them inspect for free and helped me through it with the process). This is the second time I used 50 States Electric. Gerald beats everybody to come serve you as quickly as possible too. THANK YOU!!!

I have found my electrician for all my electric projects! Gerald arrived on time. He was so nice and had a calm nature that my cat and dog loved. He protected my wood floors while he uninstalled my 20 years old ceiling fan with light kit. I was so impressed that he was made it do easy to install the new Haiku Fan with light. Thanks Gerald!

Wonderful company. I had a breaker go bad in my apartment, causing some arcing. Gerald came out and looked at it, and kindly explained to me what was happening and recommended replacing the entire breaker panel,as the bad breaker had welded itself to the breaker bar, and other breakers were damaged from the heat/ arcing electricity.After getting a solid quote, I shopped around just to see if anyone else could do it cheaper. I found 50 states had the best price by far. For the initial consultation Gerald was quick, on-time and effecient. But above all, they care about the safety of their customers.I had called back inquiring if they could just replace the one breaker- a temporary patch but much cheaper from a college students perspective. They very kindly but firmly refused to do it. They werent comfortable putting a band-aid on a bullet hole, and I dont think Ive met a company with more inegrity. I feel like anyone else would have taken my money, and not cared if my house burned down two months later. Good for them for sticking to their professional know-how and protecting me from my own dumb butt. Ill be back to book an appointment to get my whole panel replaced when I gather the money together. (Read, petition the parents) 10 stars!

Gerard was found through the Home Depot referral process. He was totally awesome. Unlike some HD referrals who are unlicensed handymen operating under the umbrella of a company owners license, Gerard himself is licensed and knows his stuff. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it, explaining as he went along, which most workers are not interested in doing. He was clean, polite, professional. He answered all my many questions. He helped me tee up future repairs. I let my association know about him so other owners could contact him. thanks!

I had used some green logo company in the past and they had me all screwed up. Smoking and sizzling. I called up 50 States and Gerald P. was top notch. He was able to give me great up front pricing and he got my panel changed out to the current code compliant spec. Also was able to surge protection so my home is safe for these summer lightning storms! Just give them a call and ask for Gerald P.

Update: Still love Gerald’s work. Had him come out to my mothers home and install the wired floodlight ring camera. He made quick work of it running wires (I didn’t realize it had to be hard wired, but he knew) and mounting the floodlight. My mother was so happy with the work. I will always recommend him to anyone needing electrical assistance! True professional!Amazing work! Gerald with 50 States Electric, LLC was great to work with for my electrical needs. Mounted 4 ceiling fans in my home at a better price than I was quoted by others and he was able to come out the very next day! I love quick service! Even when we experienced issues with one of the ceiling fans (twice I might add), he stayed while I had to run out and get it replaced (twice)! Now that is amazing customer service. Any other technician wouldve just hung it and not said a word about the noise and kept going without a second thought. He was great and I would, and definitely will, use the company again and recommend him to my neighbors for their electrical needs. Highly recommended by a very satisfied customer.

We had lost power in two of our bedrooms, we had no idea what was causing the problem. We wanted someone local and that could help us right away. There were loose wiring in the outlets. They also inspected our electrical box only to find that the previous company that had serviced it, had done an awful job. We were happy that this was brought up to our attention and our home is safe. Thank you for a professional job. Will recommend to my friends.

I ran into a last minute electrical problem with my remodel and forgot to have a dedicated line installed for my kitchen applicants.Gerald was able to come the same day and stayed late into the evening to have the problem resolved prior to the installation of my kitchen cabinets the following morning.Gerald was extremely professional and had fair & transparent pricing. He was well dressed and not did not look like someone that just came off the street with ripped jeans.He provided detailed answers to all of my questions and explained everything well.Gerald was very tidy and meticulous and cleaned up after himself. Many times I have had someone over to do a job and the contractor did not clean up debris, drywall dust, etc but Gerald picked everything up as he was working without me even having to ask.
