Dont waste your time shopping, Just call them.I have been dealing with Martin for over 15 years. He was referred by a neighbor.He has done all of our plumbing repairs and upgrades from fixing drain leaks to installing shower faucet controllers.I purchased a hot water heater five years ago. The price with installation was less than purchasing an inferior unit from a big box store.Martin is a true pro. He knows what needs to be done and gets after it.I am a DIY guy and fairly good at it but I hate plumbing. On the other hand I appreciate a neat clean job that is truly plumb.When Martin scrolls up his HVAC business I will call him for that also.NO, I am not his brother! just a satisfied customer.

We had a problem with the smell of rotten eggs (Hydrogen Sulfide) coming from our hot water heater. Martin Crisp, the owner of Washtenaw Plumbing, suggested installing an electrical anode to correct the problem. By the next morning, the bothersome smell was gone! His verbal quote matched his written invoice for the service and he showed up right on his promised time for arrival. He was quite professional and cleaned up completely after the work was done.

I was so happy my wife called Martin at Washtenaw Plumbing and Heating. We needed a few minor repairs, but also had a larger issue with our well tank and pressure gauge. I appreciated his service - calling us back, coming to the house to carefully diagnose our situation, providing a specific breakdown of costs, then delivering with first-rate work. Im only wondering why it took us so long to call in the first place. Excellent business and operation!

We discovered significant water in our basement at 10pm on a Saturday night just a week before Christmas. Water was coming from the bottom of our water heater...and it needed to be replaced. We reached out to Washtenaw Plumbing and Heating that night...and were surprised to get an immediate response. Martin was able to be at our house the next morning (Sunday!) and replaced our water heater for us. He was kind, professional, and fast! We were exceptionally impressed and would highly recommend.

Cameron was professional, courteous and thorough. I was very impressed and thankful we called in the pros.We had a leaky shower handle that had stripped when I tried to take it out, so had to call in the pros.. and Im so glad we did! It turned into a massive undertaking, including a blow torch, grinder and a lot of elbow grease... the toughest hes seen in 10+ years of plumbing... but he got it without having to take out the pipe valve, which saved us a serious unforeseen expense.When it came time to bill, he did not charge for any time that wasnt necessary, even though it took him much longer than expected due to a leak that had gone on for years and rusted the handle onto the pipe. He also replaced the bath faucet and made sure it was secure (it had been loose and protruding from the wall, contributing to water damage). Their prices (trip charge $45; $32/15min, $128/hr labor; plus parts) are competitive with any other local professional plumber, and they were fair and honest in my opinion. They also were the quickest to respond to my call and be able to schedule me in the same week, versus other plumber companies who did not respond or had availability only the following week.He explained everything he was doing, and I had some other questions for him about possible future projects that he was very knowledgeable on.Another thoroughly satisfied customer and 5 star review! We will be calling them again should we need another plumbing job.

Water began leaking from my kitchen can light while the upstairs shower was being used. The first company I called did not answer. I called Washtenaw P & H and Martin was at my house in less than 15 minutes. He discovered the pipes were installed improperly from a remodel that was done about 6-7 years ago. The entire job was completed and up to code by noon. Chris fixed an unrelated sink drain issue on the spot as well. Prompt. Respectful. Affordable. This experience could not have gone any better. I would recommend this company without hesitation. Thank you!!!
