My family has used Al’s for as long as I can remember. I work in the water treatment business and I’m in homes every day and refer them to all my clients and I’ve never ever been disappointed. I needed a gas line capped and plumbers are typically the ones to call for this and couldn’t find anybody. Al’s came out in a reasonable amount of time and took care of everything for me. Cant say enough about how great this team is. We had some questions about replacing a water heater and Richard came over to the house the next day, checked out the existing heater, helped us make a warranty claim and installed a new replacement the day after that. I am very pleased with Als water heater service and installation. I called at 8am, the morning after my old water heater stopped working and the service guys came out the same day. I sent them photos of the old tank and they brought the new one with them. They replaced and removed the old tank in about an hour. The whole process was super smooth and stress free. The service guys had really positive energy and took time to explain everything to us. They even had us laughing with some good humor. The tank was ready quickly, and we had hot water before they walked out of the door at 11:30am. Overall it was a really positive experience and they did a great job! Thanks to Als!

I HIGHLY recommend Als Hot Water Heater. Our old unit failed @ dinner time, one phone call/message to Als and Richard contacted me immediately. We made plans for the next morning for a new install, ultimately I decided on a tankless unit which I discussed with Richard on the phone. Our water heater stopped working over the weekend. They answered the phone on a Sunday and said they could come on Monday. Monday morning they said they would get to us around the end of the day but rearranged their schedule to work better with my schedule. I was told the service fee over the phone before they arrived. Upon arrival and inspection they told me the possibilities of what was wrong and the range of costs depending on what needed replaced. They had our water heater fixed before noon on Monday and were able to fix it by replacing the cheapest of the possible parts they had quoted. The explained what they did and gave recommendations for the future. Prompt, professional, accommodating, honest and upfront about pricing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We recently had our 7 year old gas water heater start leaking. We called our original installer, only to be told it was out of warranty and that they no longer repaired/worked on them. They recommended Als Water Heater. We called and Als came out the same day. We were fortunate that the problem was repairable. Our serviceman Richard figured out the issue quickly and had our repair done in a very short period of time. He replaced galvanized fittings at the top (leaking issue) with brass fittings so that this should not be a repeat problem during the life left in our tank. We were delighted to not need a new tank installed just 2 weeks before Christmas. Very positive experience, for us, all the way around.

I woke up to a cold shower and called Al’s Water Heater.and they answered the phone and asked a few questions with a request of sending them a picture of my old water heater. Within a few minutes, they texted me the cost to replace and said they could be at my house by 3pm. The team showed up on time, laid out the liner to my basement so they could take out the old water heater and install the new one.Within 1.5 hours they completely installed a new water heater and hauled away the old one. When our water heater went out, we called Al. The estimate was in line with other suppliers, but delivery was guaranteed for the next day. The installers showed up early, were very professional and knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job of completing the job on time without leaving a trace of their being there. They removed the old water heater and took it with them when they left. They added a tray under the water heater with a pipe to the drain so if we ever experience a leak again, the water will go directly down the drain. Already, I have recommended Als to my neighbors for when they need a new water heater and will continue to recommend then to anyone and everyone.

Scheduling is a breeze. Text pictures and get back rough quote same day. I have them fixed two water heaters. I paid another plumber $150 and he said he can’t touch the heater at all. The guys did a great job with every aspect. My only complaint was when I met them outside & asked them how their day was going. The response (10:40AM) was: it was great until we got here. No idea why besides the house was built in the late 1800s. Its not a shack by any means. Yes, it has a Michigan basement but they figured out how to bring the water heater down the basement. I offered help with ramps etc. After that, they explained everything quite well.

Our hot water heater stopped working on Sunday morning. After a few hours of research I called Als Water Heater and scheduled a service call. I got a 9am appointment for Monday, the next day. We decided to go with a tankless Navien system. They had it installed on the wall by mid afternoon. They also took our old tank with them. Very courteous and professional. Communication was also excellent.

I was converting my home heat from propane to natural gas and I was under time pressure to have my appliances converted on the same day that DTE installed the new gas meter. I contacted Als Water Heater and they were able to work with me with very little advance notice. Ryan and Carl were extremely professional, polite and thorough. For two days I hemmed and hawed over which brand of water heater to install and Ryan was very patient and would tell me that their goal is to make sure I am happy with the job they do. Went the water heater started leaking, I called Sinks to Sewers, who Ive been using for plumbing issues, but they dont do water heaters, suggested I call Als. I decided to have a hybrid hot water heater installed and do away with my 22 year old inefficient natural gas one. This was me going “green” due to installing solar panels with batteries for my home. This was a complicated installation since the manufacture required many additional components e.g. mixing valve, expansion tank, check valve, pressure reducing valve, etc. The water heater was purchased at Menards online but the plumbing department recommend Al’s Water Heater for the install. I purchased all the components and did some of the simple installation myself using sharkbite fittings. I did not feel comfortable in completing the main install myself plus the manufacturer required professional installation for the warranty coverage. I explained to Al’s Water Heater service what I basically needed done and supplied the piping diagram and they took it from there. The job was done professionally, quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I am very pleased and I am very picky customer

Had a leaking Rheem natural gas water heater with power vent. Unit was six years three months old. Warranty was six years, of course. They let me know that with the power venting I couldn’t switch back to a standard water heater because it would require a steel flue versus the pvc pipe exhaust I had. So I said screw it and now have a tankless water heater that was able to be installed on a half inch gas line. So far we love it. I could take a hot shower for six months if I wanted to. Expensive, but less than the cost of buying two power vent water heaters. From what we hear, the tankless models will last a very very long time if you descale them once a year.
