I highly recommend Micah and Jenny. They replaced my main sewer line and hot water heater. Through every step of the process they were communicative, and they made big efforts to keep us in our house, even though it was more work for them. Their prices were more than fair, and Micah takes extreme pride in doing the job right. It was a big job, and my whole family got to know and like them. If you want an honest local plumber who will do you right, Micah and Jenny are the ones for you.

Our previous plumber was going to make a hole in the wall to change a shower valve that would not stop leaking. Micah instructed me to call Delta and get the correct valve insert. Micah installed the valve insert in 15min and NO leaks. Micah saved us $$$ in unnecessary repairs. This guy is good!!

Micah and Jenny are the best. Servants to their core. They will give you the shirt off their back, and go out of their way to deliver it to you in person.I was out of town (of course!) when the water heater decided to start leaking. My wife calls me to describe the situation and luckily between the two of us we managed to find our way to Micah. Jenny got on the phone with us and immediately took firm but compassionate control of the situation walking my wife through assessing the situation and making a plan to prevent property damage and get hot water flowing in the house again. In a very short time, Micah and Jenny were at my house making a temporary fix even though they were busy with other work when our situation arose. Fantastic response. Then we arranged to make a more permanent fix (water heater replacement) some days later. The temporary fix was painless and very effective, and the full job was completed later with great skill and professionalism. They even completed the job for less than the original estimate, and addressed every little detail. I could not be happier. I now feel blessed to know them, and I will never choose to use a different plumber again.

We were without water for several days due to a broken water line and searching for a reliable plumber in Allen, TX with reasonable prices. I liked the Christian references on their website but didnt know what to expect. Micahs Honest Plumbing returned our call quickly and came out to give us an estimate within hours.Micah was friendly and understanding to our situation and helped us out on the price. He was assertive in what he could do and promised he would have our water on by the next day. He stayed late the next evening to keep his promise and did a great job- we had our water back on!He even helped us with a minor unrelated issue. We were very pleased with the service and I can say that Micahs Honest plumbing lived up to its name; they treated us like a neighbor, not just another customer. We sincerely appreciate the help!

Spoke with Jennifer after getting appointments with other providers and should have started with them first. Jennifer listened to my problem, gave me a rough estimate, and worked with me to come out as soon as possible.The crew came and dug up the pipe. Then Micah and Jennifer showed up for repair, which was done while explaining to me what was being done. Then the clean up crew came in and it looked like the yard had not been touched!Highly recommend for all your plumbing needs you start with Micahs.

Walking into your family room feeling the rug squish under your feet is not a a great feeling. Then discovering your floors have water seeping in between the planks was about enough to put me over the edge. Yup, we had a slab leak! We were referred to Micah’s Honest Plumbing from both co-workers and friends who had used their company for their own homes. We called them and after assessing the situation over the phone, Micah and Jenny came over. (Oh, and this was on a Sunday!) I cannot speak enough to the caring, concern and quick action taken to find and stop the water from doing more damage. They walked us through the process we had ahead of us step by step. I cannot begin to thank them and their excavation crew for the amazing job done! Everyone who took part In this situation was professional, timely and knowledgeable. But... The biggest reason I will refer Micah’s Honest Plumbing to friends, family and coworkers is that their customer service is second to none! Thank you both for everything!

Thursday evening our outside faucet popped off due to corrosion. We called on Micahs Honest Plumbing for an estimate and appointment. The July 4th holiday was quickly approaching and our usual plumber was out of town already. Jennifer and Micah actually talked us through the repair. The water is back on and thankfully no leaks. We will definitely use them in the future and pass on our experience to others. Its not everyday that people help out others without wanting something in return. We are very pleased and grateful.

Micah really lives up to his company’s name. He is very professional, courteous, reasonably priced and an expert in the field. He tries to educate his clients about the basic things in plumbing.We had a leaking kitchen sink and called Micah. He could not come at the time of the appointment, which was a Friday, due to some other emergency. He came the very next day and took care of the problem very efficiently. He absolutely refused to take payment from me, since there was a delay of one day, in fixing the problem. I have been using Micah’s service since a couple of years and have been extremely happy with it. Every call is returned promptly and appointments given out immediately. I will definitely continue using his service, for all future needs and would recommend him to anybody who is in need of a plumber.

Great company, great people. Micah and Jenny were very patient, nice, and professional. They did a great job performing the hydrostatic test for a property we were going to purchase in Allen. They spent a lot of time explaining the process and results to us and even helped us resolve a permit question with the city for a previous foundation repair. They definitely went above and beyond. Well definitely call them for any future problems.

During the February 2021 freeze in Texas, it was almost impossible to get a plumber to repair a broken pipe and get my water back on. It took me 8 days without water and calls to at least 12 plumbers before I found Micahs. Even though they were working insanely long hours and were fully booked for days in advance, they came out late at night and got my water back on. They identified the cause of the leak as the result of some years earlier plumbing work that had been done incorrectly by the builder, so they did a temporary fix and promised to come back and reconfigure the pipeline and do the job right next week when things arent so out-of-control in Texas. I am so grateful to have running water again, and be able to take a shower and flush toilets and wash dishes and clothes, etc.! I will be calling on Micahs for future plumbing work and highly recommend them.

One of our water main line has broken while doing some gardening. It was after 8pm we left a message and they called us back in 10 minutes and made a visit to my house right away.It was completely dark outside. Micah put his hand into mud found the spot and told us it’s not good and the pipe needs to be replaced.The pipe needs to be exposed in order to be replaced (dig a hole around it). That is a time consuming but not really a plumbing work so we told him we can get it done. Micah was happy and told us that will save the cost a lot and gave us a reasonable estimate to replace the pipe.The next day he came after we prepared the area and he had the work done professionally. It took less time than I thought and he asked much less price than he originally estimated which I thought was fair already.This is our first house and it was my first time calling a plumber so I didnt have much idea what to expect. I made several calls to different plumbers and they asked ridiculous price just to come and find the problem that scared the hell out of me. I am so glad I found these reviews before I scheduled a different plumber.I can’t agree more to one of the reviews below that “they treat us like a neighbor, not just another customer”. I didn’t feel they are doing a ‘business’ with me at all. I feel I’ve been offered a good help.

Jenny in the office is terrific and super quick to answer or reply even when they are busy and with this kind of service I bet they are really busy! This company is fantastic! Micah was able to fit me in the same day and came out to fix my problem, which for me and my family at the time, was a slight emergency. I have an old home in Allen with cast iron plumbing that backs up occasionally. Micah was able to clear the lines at a very reasonable rate and gave us some advice to prevent the issue from reoccurring. He is very honest man, which is difficult to find in this day and age. If I rate Micahs Honest Plumbing 10 stars, I would. I had another plumbing company (Service Contracters via AHS) come to my house to repair my toilet. I came back 7 hours later to find the toilet overflowing and there was no way to stop it. It was 11pm and I could not get Service Contractors to come back or any other company, so I found Micahs information online. They not only returned my phone call in a matter of minutes, but arrived at my home within 5 mins. He is very experienced and was to identify the root problem and not the sympton. He fixed it quickly and saved me from having to have my entire carpet place. He is professional, friendly and truly Honest. I HIGHLY recommend Micahs!

11/5/14I have an older home that had a leaky toilet. They came and diagnosed the problem free of charge. When they returned to fix it, they were prompt, courteous, and very efficient. He was able to use my existing pieces instead of charging me for new ones. He explained the problem in a way I understood and saved me money. Additionally, he fixed other minor things without me even having to ask! Micahs Honest Plumbing will be our exclusive plumber! I highly recommend this service!

Micah’s honest plumbing is truly honest !! A couple of years ago I contacted him regarding a leak in my house , he was able to quickly identify it as a slab leak. Micah resolved the issue quickly , professionally and assisted me in working with my insurance. Fast forward a couple of years later... December 2019 , my gas company identified a leak outside. Micah and his wife were VERY helpful and worked tirelessly to find the leak even late at night to ensure my family’s gas would be restored as quickly as possible even during the holiday.I would definitely refer and use Micah for any and all of my plumbing related issues. It was especially comforting because they Christians who are truly doing the for God !

(Forgot her name) dispatch/customer service gal listened so well to my issue and although they were overbooked, her service guys were on our block already so shed check to see if htey could stop by after their curent job. This guy is the real deal. I bought a gas grill to be hooked up to natural gas. I am not a handy person. I wanted it done. I knew it was simple but I would feel better just having someone who knows this stuff install it. I called one plumbing company that I had used in the past. They wanted $325. The guy came out and it was the most frustrating experience I have ever had. He even wanted proof that the grill was designed for natural gas. After standing in the heat, etc., I finally found what was the obvious for him. This part of the story just goes on. Then I remembered Micah because he had installed a garbage disposal for me a couple of years earlier. This guy is amazing. He was done in less that 10 minutes. He wouldnt even charge me. I guess he felt sorry for me after the previous experience. I even tried to give him some cash just for coming to the house. He said no I cant do it. It wasnt even worth it. He is my plumber from now on. I wont forget him or his name. It almost seems too good to be true. But it isnt. Use this guy.

Great service and honest. In a bad weather, we had sewer clogged from outside. Micah quoted us $200 but recommended to call the city first and they should fix in the same day. We needed it to be fix now and he did. Then he charged us less than what he initially quoted. Great biz.

Both sinks in the kids bathroom were backed up. I checked the Internet for the likely problem, but I just wasnt confident about my plumbing skills.Over the phone, I described my issue and the troubleshooting Id already done. I set up an appointment for the next day. Micah came in, looked at the problem (he already knew what needed to happen), and told me it was a simple fix. He told me that he could either tell me how to fix it myself *or* he could bring his stuff in and work on it for about 10-15 minutes.I loved the fact that he was willing to tell me the truth -- the fact that it didnt require a master plumber. Of course, I took the free instructions and I had the drains cleared in about 20 minutes.

Discovering your home has a slab leak is quite possibly the worst thing one can imagine. Having grown up with a basement I never thought about a slab leak let alone knew about them or their existence. Im not going to lie it was a long process that tested my patience and as a normally very patient person well you can only imagine. I have to say Micah and Jenny made the whole experience the best it could possibly be and I would highly recommend them and their excavation crew. Shout out to Christian and his crew as well as Micha and Jenny who made it happen for us to have water over the weekend, after having to repair 4 other slab leaks earlier in the week. I live in Allen, and this is my first ever review being written, I read other peoples reviews but never write one. So you can imagine how impressed I am with this company to take the time to write one. Micahs Plumbing just fixed my 2 year worth problem. I couldnt take a shower in my beautiful Master Bedroom because of pressure problem, we tried everything, looked up online, tied white vinegar to shower heads, basically whatever the youtube told us to do. Finally we reluctantly scheduled an appointment, oh thinking its going to be expensive, this that, we are going to be told all kinds of stuff, but NO, they walked in, within 5 minutes fixed my problem, and were the nicest people on the planet !! I cant believe I am recommending and writing my first review on a plumbing company, but I am !!! I would recommend this company whole-heartedly to anyone !!!

I called Micah at 5pm and left a message that my commode was stopped up. In minutes he returned my call and said he would be here by 5:30. When he arrived he showed me how to properly unstop the toilet (using the plunger for suction rather than pushing as I was doing). He then got it flushing. I said, Ok, how much do I owe you? and he said You dont owe me anything. I dont charge in cases like this.I couldnt believe it! He is such a courteous and professional guy!I am a customer for life. Micah was very helpful in resolving a difficult pluming issue caused by the home builders bad installation. He really is the most honest plumber in town and he and his son were very nice to our nosey Golden Retriever.

Absolutely horrible experience with Sears. Have had not hot water since Saturday and no water at all for three days. After haggling, spending hours & hours on the phone with Sears, I finally cancelled a hot water replacement ticket and called Micahs Honest Plumbing. Micah came out THURSDAY (thats SIX DAYS without hot water), looked at the water heater and replaced a leaking line in 5 minutes! No thanks, Sears, Many thanks Micah. Need a super plumber? Call Micah. Wow, I called to replace a leaking faucet and they said the faucet is OK, they install a new one and do not accept my payment because the old one was not creaked, you are HONEST and for that reason I highly recommend the company ! Thank you for the excellent work.

Micah and his wife, Jenny are wonderful people who do amazing work (yes plumbing can be amazing!) The fact that Micah knows exactly what he is doing and does not cut corners is icing on the cake.I spoke with Jenny about a leaking faucet--after a description of the problem and a few quick pictures via text, she had figured out the problem and was ordering the part. Micah and his crew showed up on time, were polite and clean cut. He had to undo someone elses crappy attempt at fixing our faucet and then fix the leak.I could not be happier with the entire experience from my initial phone call to my fixed bath faucet. I will be using Micahs Honest Plumbing for all future needs.These guys are truly honest, hardworking people--very hard to find these days.
