In-House Plumbing exceeded all of my expectations. We had our cast iron pipes collapse, right after purchasing the home. Yes, we knew they were cast iron, but still loved the home! After the pipes collapsed, I called three companies to get quotes and was told anywhere from $50-$60k. I was stumped on what to do and couldn’t believe how much this was going to cost. We got on the Ring App and posted about needing a good plumber to replace cast iron pipes. Within minutes, seven people said In-House Plumbing. I looked them up online, read the reviews and made the call. Chris came out the next day and worked a whole new system with us and gave us a quote that was $30,000 cheaper than the other 3 companies. I was also told they can’t start until 9/16 but I didn’t care because it was $30,000 in savings. I went ahead and signed the contract and was blown away with the next steps.1. They were able to move us by 4 weeks and get to us quicker.2. Once work started, they had some of the hardest working guys, I’ve ever seen.3. Ive hired these guys for two properties needing full cast iron re-routing. Both times, they offered the best price, the work was top notch and the communication and speed unmatched. Best of all, they stand behind their work. We just noticed a leak in our irrigation line a few months after the cast iron replacement and the owner sent the sprinkler crew they contract with back out to repair it free of charge on a Saturday. Highly recommend!

Sewer Line replacement is not a project you look forward to as a home owner. But In-House Plumbing made the experience painless. We got bids from four other companies and are glad we chose In-House. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and expertise started when we initially met with them for a quote. It then extended to the work crew. They were communicative, professional, and considerate. I literally felt like they were looking after our home and best interests during the process. My positive impression of them continued to grow during the clean up. They left no stone unturned during their cleanup, even hosing the sidewalks. Hired in house plumbing to reroute my sewer line. They are very professional. They always kept me informed that they were on the way to do the work. They used plastic on the ground so it didn’t make a mess of my yard and easy clean up. They did the work exactly as it was planned. If I had any questions or concerns they responded timely . This can me a stressful process however because the communication was excellent it wasn’t stressful at all. I would definitely recommend their service.

I contracted with In-House Plumbing to completely redo my home’s main plumbing lines. I knew my cast iron plumbing (under cement slab home) was on borrowed time. They redid the plumbing by creating the system around the foundation. Cast iron pipes are a thing of the past!!! From start to finish I could not ask for a better experience. Despite me having to reschedule several times, In-House Plumbing accommodated me every step of the way.Thomas Belise was my project manager. Nice guy, prompt and considerate of my time. He made sure to keep me up to date through the entire project. I had no qualms whatsoever about giving the plumbers the run of the house. My dog loved them! His crew was extremely hard working and when it came time for cleanup, they made my yard look better than when they started. They even removed a pile of bricks for me that wasn’t part of the job!In-House came very highly recommended! I couldn’t be more effusive with my own recommendation. They are Thebomb!

We needed 50-year old cast-iron pipes replaced under a slab foundation. Their quote was better than anyone elses. Work was scheduled for a weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). Workers were prompt, precise, always notified us ahead of time about arrival, did exactly what they said they would do, and left the space as tidy, clean and functional as when they walked in. If I had a similar job, I would hire them again.

In July 2023, I had my sewer pipes replaced by In-House plumbing. I didnt take all that many photos, but I included a couple I took while the ground was still open.I was very impressed with the time that Chris took to write up the quote. Even his hand-drawn initial diagram was leaps and bounds ahead of the detail I received from the other quotes that I received. Id presented the approach the other plumbers recommended in their quotes and, one-by-one, he explained why he didnt recommend the same.When we decided to proceed with the work, the next available time was about a month out, which worked fine for us as we werent in an emergency situation.When the work started, I was greeted on the first day by a project manager who I would correspond with throughout the project. He and about 10-15 other men showed up to proceed with the dig. They finished all the digging in one day!The next day, they finished all of the plumbing. We were only without sewer access for a couple of hours tops and never did they leave us without access at night.The following day was inspection day. I checked the inspection in the Plano system and everything seems to have been filed correctly. The inspection was marked as passed by the City of Plano.The final day was backfill, which the group also completed in one day.We had one complication with our sprinkler system. I had paid for the option for the company to hire their own sprinkler company to fix the work. That sprinkler company came by on the following day and resolved the issue.Overall, I was super impressed the the In-House plumbing teams work. I received quotes from four other companies, three recommending something a little different and then another that was a like-for-like comparison.

Great experience! Replaced all our cast iron with PVC. They were quick and easy do deal with. The project took about 3 days to complete and backfill. Chris was very transparent on the details and what to expect. Id definitely recommend them to anyone looking to replace their cast iron plumbing. The quality of work was excellent and the price was definitely competitive. The diagram Chris made on their bid was very detailed. These guys are professionals and know what they are doing!

I had a great experience with In-house plumbing. I had multiple plumbers come check my sewer system and they gave me way overpriced quotes. If they werent overpriced, it was only a small section repair for over $9k. One quote I got from a plumber was for $45k for the complete sewer system replacement not including braches to the showers and outside sewer line. Chris and Sean from In-house plumbing explained everything they were going to do without if this then the price will go up bs. When they inspected the old sewer, they didnt guesstimate how much digging (so no surprise charges) and they provided a sewer reroute option that was more effective. If you are frustrated with ridiculous quotes give In-house a call. FYI- complete sewer replacement (under foundation) completed in 4 days.

The Cast Iron Pipes were replaced in 2 days with the City Inspection on day three and the backfill completed on day 4. The work done was amazing. They went out of their way digging not to damage any sprinkler lines, wires, pipes or shrubs. The Plumbers were excellent handling anything in the house and their work outside connecting the new PVC Pipes. They recommend Trenching and that is the way to go. I really can’t imagine anyone else but In House Plumbing doing your Sewer Pipe Replacement.

Based on the major changes we are going in renovation, Chris felt that our best course was to replace the pipes after construction. Highly recommend these guys! Extremely honest!I had a drain stoppage that was cleared by another plumbing company. This other plumbing company ran their camera through the line and said I needed a sewer line replacement (which would cost over $25K ).I asked In House for a quote. Chris spent quite a while using his camera to examine all of our sewer pipes and said we didn’t need replacement of anything! They said the previous owner of the house had clearly already replaced the old cast iron pipes. In House Plumbing did not even charge for the visit and inspection.Thanks guys!

In-House Plumbing completed a whole house replacement of our cast iron sewer pipes for us 6 weeks ago. The job went just as scheduled and they actually finished one day ahead of time. They had to dig 4 tunnels (one through our concrete garage floor), dig a substantial length of trench lines, and navigate around an in-ground drainage system and unmoveable landscape features. They had a very efficient and experienced crew who did an amazing job with the excavation of an unbelievable amount of soil. The plumbers quickly made the new connections and expertly placed the exterior drain cleanout access points. We had very minimal down time and then the crewmen carefully refilled the tunnels and trenches. The cleanup was handled efficiently and completely. Communication went well throughout the job. At 6 weeks post completion, all is well. The trench lines are leveling out and we are very happy with the work that was done. We definitely recommend In-House Plumbing.

In-House Plumbing truly provided exceptional service from start to finish. We had a problem with one of our cast iron sewer lines and after research decided to go with In-House for the PVC re-route. We were planning to do only half the house. Chris came out for an initial estimate and within an hour of his visit (on a Friday evening) we received a VERY detailed proposal, with plans showing our options, cost explanations, and a 30 minute video from the owner Shawn outlining everything. The price and plans were favorable so we went with the full re-route. Now all our sewer pipes all the way out to the street connection are smooth PVC and should last our lifetimes without any major issues. The entire process took 7 full days (would’ve been 5 but there were complications with our particular yard and lines), the yard was a mess but (at least in our case) very minimal work was required in the house and no damage to the tile/wood floors or slab. All of the workers we interacted with were polite and helpful, especially Chris (excellent all around), Jackie (always eager to answer any questions, positive and knowledgeable) and Santos (stayed late to hook up a toilet for us). We were able to stay in our house the entire time the work was done. They kept us informed on progress, any changes and were always eager to answer any questions. They really went above and beyond! This was an expensive and stressful home repair to have to make but they put us at ease. I would recommend In-House Plumbing to my best friends and family. 11 out of 10 quality and service.

I was very surprised by the level of service and timeliness of both Brenda and Rick. Brenda helped schedule our initial appointment and she was very knowledgeable about the services offered, policies and next steps. She understood the urgency of my need so when she had a cancellation she contacted me multiple times to make sure I was aware of the earlier appointment availability. Rick was very polite, on time and thorough when discussing next steps with me. He also made me feel very comfortable given that he was testing the plumbing around my home while my husband was not here. Each time I had questions and called their main number- even if I left a voicemail, they were very prompt to get back with me (usually within 1 hour or less). There is a lot to replumbing a house and Chris and the company care deeply about everything going well, working right, and making sure the job is outstanding. During our replumb Chris has gone above and beyond to make sure that everything is excellent in the service and the completion of the replumb. They are also the only company I know who organizes the dig-out, replumb, and fill-in, and completion of the job to happen within 1.5-2 days. There are so many houses in my area that have trenches for weeks or months even before a replumb is completed. Additionally, I got several quotes for our job and theirs was also the most economical, while being efficient, and adding the over and above support to a very big house repair. In-House Plumbing came in, did a thorough inspection and quoted a reasonable price for the work (they needed to dig an access hole since tree roots grew into my main sewage pipe). Our experience with In-House Plumbing spanned several weeks. All along the journey, the staff and workers were professional, patient, and responsive with all of the concerns/questions we had. Each phase of the project was explained before work began.We started when Rick came to the house to do a leak test. He did find a leak in the sewer lines and recommended an isolation test. Shawn, the owner, spent time with me on the phone going over information found on their web site related to how the isolation test would work. When the first isolation test was not as conclusive as Shawn was hoping for, he sent a crew out for a second test for further analysis. You want to be as precise as possible if you are talking about cutting a hole in the middle of your house. Once Shawn felt we had the best analysis we could get, he provided a video and diagram with multiple proposals. The detail of the information he provided was very helpful for this major decision. Shawn came to the house to review the situation personally and answer more questions. The decision was made to do a re-route of the sewer lines. We had plumbers in the yard for several days. Working through the August heat, humidity, and a 3 inch rainfall was a challenge, but they completed their tasks as quickly as possible. The following week, Shawn sent a crew to the house to ensure everything was completed based on our agreement and to our satisfaction.Because of the professionalism, attention to customer concerns, and the desire to provide quality work, we will be calling In-House Plumbing for any future plumbing needs (hoping they will only be minor ones).September 2021A couple of weeks ago we had an issue with the AC drain line being stopped up. So, we began cleaning that out and it seemed the in-ground 2-inch drain pipe was backing up. We could not see a flow of water in the clean out pipe so we began to wonder if the pipe had been connected to the re-route done by In-House Plumbing back in 2017. Made a call to them and Willy came out and checked things out. In addition, Shawn, the owner, made a special trip to the house to assess things as well. They had connected the AC drain to the re-route and Willy was able to get a full water flow into the clean out. He further explained why we probably didnt see that a couple of weeks ago. They could have stopped there, but they didnt. The drain pipe was actually below where the dirt level should be (which was part of the problem) so Willy took the time to add an extension and make sure we could still access things to keep a check on the AC drain. Shawn also made a suggestion to help isolate the area while protecting the foundation.I have had VERY GOOD experiences with In-House Plumbing from talking with the ladies in the front office to the professionals who come to the house to do work. I absolutely would give them 5-stars.

Our home was built in the 70s and has cast iron drain lines under the slab. We have lived here for more than ten years and have had to have work done on the kitchen and laundry lines three times, each time the plumbers went through the slab. Recently the lines began to back up again, this time we were told that the lines were completely broken down and would have to be replaced. After much research online we called In-House Plumbing. Shawn and Chris came out to give us an estimate on rerouting the lines. We were very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. They answered all of our questions. We received our estimate via email within a few short hours along with a video explanation of the work. They offered financing which was quick and easy to secure.We arranged to begin work the following Monday. The crew came out and everyone was friendly and professional. They worked hard for three days even in the rain to get the job done. I am very pleased with the results. This company goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers and ensure a job well done. I am so happy we found them and will recommend them to everyone I know. Honesty, dependability, and good work ethic are hard to find but with In-House Plumbing you cannot go wrong.

We had a sewer line replaced and routed around the house instead of under the foundation. Everyone we dealt with from In House Plumbing was knowledgeable and courteous. After getting two other estimates I called Shawn who spent quite a while on the phone explaining the good points and bad about our situation and the other bids. He then sent Chris out to do a Free second opinion. This turned out to be a nearly three hour assessment and written estimate. Their bid was in the middle of three but closer to the low end. They scheduled the job quickly, showed up on time each day and even completed slightly early. Workers were respectful of us, our home and property. The final price was exactly the same as the estimate.We were pleased with the entire process and will recommend In House Plumbing to all our friends and family. Highly recommend this company for leak detection and repair. We replaced our cast iron pipes after they detected a leak in the sewage system. The estimate given to us included a video walking us through the different options for repair, explaining all aspects of the issues found in the pipe system of our 40+ year old home. The estimate was clear, concise and reasonable priced.We had a multi day project, their employees arrived promptly and usually early and immediately got to work. The office communicated well with us prior to the work starting and the foreman was always available during the actual work.When completed they repaired the concrete that had to be removed, filled all the holes and left the property basically as it was. She provided me the separate hydrostatic report within an hour after I requested it.The only hiccup is the crew did no fill up the hole inside the bathroom smoothly. My floor guy had hard time to level the new concrete, and spent whole day to put back the laminate floor.Overall I had good experience with In House Plumbing

A few weeks ago, we noticed water backing up in places that it should not be. Our home insurance company sent out a plumbing company that advised that we search for a company that specializes in cast iron replacement. We reached out to one company that quoted us an extremely high price to replace only one sewer line. We looked for a second opinion and reached out to In-House Plumbing. General Manager Chris came out and took measurements of our house to set up a proper quote to replace all the cast iron. After reviewing the quote and the game plan to replace the cast iron, we decided to proceed with In-House Plumbing. We are very grateful for the hard work and professionalism they brought from beginning to end of the project. I had my foundation fixed and the results were catastrophic. The plumbing was so messed up that the bathroom was unusable. I decided to remodel and gutted the entire bathroom. I had In house plumbing come and they tunneled under the house and had to chiseled all the PVC from the foundation and replaced it all, all the way up to the shower head. I thought surely this would be a mountain of money but they were fair with me. I had used them before and they do amazing work and are always fair with the price. Chris even told me that when I was ready they would come out and put the Toilet in for me. This remodel took 9 months with the coronavirus and being furloughed, but he stayed true to his word. They send Rick and I love him. I worked from home and he had the toilet in and quietly left while I was on a conference call. This team is the best plumbers I have ever worked with. The leaks in my house were not marked and I was told that the only option to fix the problem will cost me an additional ~$29,000. Stay away from this company unless you have extra money to throw around.On October 24, 2018 Rick from In-House Plumbing did a Hydrostatic test on our sewer system. Rick was very nice and courteous. I mentioned to him that I had hired a plumbing company in the past that used a camera to locate a sewer leak but that they stopped after locating two leaks. He responded that they, at In-House plumbing, don’t stop after two leaks and that they would locate all leaks. Based on that comment and Rick’s recommendation, I hired In-House plumbing to do the next step, “Isolate and Locate”. I paid Rick $195 for the hydrostatic test.On November 1, 2018 Jackie and Tim came out. First thing Jackie said was, since this house has cast iron pipes, they would stop after locating three leaks!! I told him that Rick had said you don’t stop after locating two leaks however Rick didn’t say anything about stopping after three. Jackie proceeded to explain that if three leaks were found, other parts of the system would most likely fail. I also asked him to check the kitchen area where the walls had shifted, but he never did. They located three leaks and stopped. They told me the general area of the leaks; however, they never marked any of their locations. Rickie said the entire sewer system will need to be replaced and that I needed to schedule an appointment with the office to come out and measure then give an estimate. I paid Jackie $695.Chris came out Friday November 2, 2018. He took measures and told me he will be emailing an estimate to replace the sewer system for the entire house as this is the only option they can do. I received an email with a video from the owner, Shawn, explaining exactly what they would do. The estimate of the work was $28995.00 (5 dollars shy of 29 Thousand dollars!!!)In the end, I spent $890 and was told that my only option is to pay another ~$29K to fix my leaks. I had nothing to show for the money I paid them. The leaks were not marked. I had to hire another company to “Isolate and locate” again then fix the leaks.Diana Mohsene

We had initially hoped for just a repair, but turns out the cartridge to our faucet (which was less than 2 years old) was faulty, which caused it to leak a lot. The cartridge replacement we got from the manufacturer couldnt be used (due to not being able to remove the old cartridge because it was stripped), so we had to purchase a new faucet. Rick was very kind & patient while my husband went & purchased another faucet. Of course, the new faucet didnt have all of the parts needed, so Rick went out & purchased the additional parts. After he returned, he installed the new faucet. He did a great job ....& again, was most patient & kind. He was professional & on-time. The job took longer than anticipated ....but it was well worth it. We are very pleased & highly recommend In-House Plumbing.

He can deliver bad news (water leak) very nicely!Update: September 2020. In May 2019 I entrusted In-House Plumbing to replace our entire sewer line under our slab foundation house. This was not an easy job and everything went smoothly. Our cast iron sewer line pipes were 61 years old and had corroded. The plumbers pulled pieces of the pipe out from underground and they looked like Swiss cheese; so many holes. Their custom videos to your house explain how PVC pipes will be used to replace old cast iron. Fast forward to September 2020. Rick comes back to our house because a toilet is not flushing fully. He explains and shows me the problem. He also explains how one toilet in our home is different from the second and why the problem occurred in one and not the other. He gave me specific recommendation of different brands of toilets to purchase online to have delivered to our home. He also gave me the size needed and specific details to make sure the new toilet has. Rick is a gem of a human; professional, polite and complimented me on my attempt to replace a toilet valve myself! We of course both wore face coverings. I cant wait for the new toilet to be delivered and for someone from In-House Plumbing to install it. I hope this company will be my plumbing company of choice for life.

I have used In House Plumbing now on 2 separate occasions - 3 years apart - for the same thing - repairing a sewer line leak underneath the foundation of my home.Tearing out flooring to dig a hole in your Foundarion is not a fun thing to have happen but In House Plumbing handled the job like pros.From initial leak detection test (which is most competitively priced in the metroplex) to isolation test to actual repairing of leak - this company is the best. They prepped the area and staged the job excellently by stacking the dirt in buckets. The leaks were exactly where they had indicated in the isolation test and then reconfirmed by blocking off the system and filling up the lines. The site manager showed my the leaks before doing the repair work confirming what was found. Once repairs were completed, they retested system with me observing to confirm the work was done properly. Outside of having holes on the flooring where the repair was done (which is expected), you couldn’t tell they were there. Excellent job of cleaning up from all work.I highly recommend In House Plumbing for any foundation plumbing repairs or testing.

She seemed to understand what we were going through and quicky was able to setup with an in-house expert to review and repair the situation. The technical, Rick Hoyle, called me a few minutes before the schedule window to give me an estimate of when he would arrive. He knocked at the door at the promised time, went over the problem area and suggested we check the sprinkler system. He was right on the dot. While the issue was straightforward and I should have checked out all my options before calling for help, Rick was patient, explained the entire process and problem. Since the time it took to detect the leak and fix it was not too long,he offered to check and make sure that we did not overlook other areas as i was going to have to pay the minimum charge anyways. Apparently the secretary was misinformed about what constituted a free second opinion. He was so gracious about everything and even sent a gift card of my choosing for the trouble.His guys (Chris and Sean) came out today to complete the free test on our sewage lines and explained everything they did in extreme detail. They went above and beyond - Chris even got up in our attic to check on a plumbing vent he was worried about. Unfortunately, they did confirm a leak somewhere under our slab. Brenda was really helpful every time I called and spoke with her and she was very informative as well. Sean and his partner were really patient and worked really hard to find the leaks that Rick noted. Trevor and his partner were also really friendly and worked very hard with Shawn and Jackie to try and do their best work. I planned to move forward with this company but the foundation repair (VTD) wanted to use their plumber. Turns out, they had never used their plumber before (they contract services out & apparently take a cut). Their plumber did a good job & cost about $2k less, but In-House was the next least expensive & so professional. Ill likely call them in the future if I ever have need...& ask for Chris.

The people at In-House Plumbing are professional, honest and reliable. We were having some issues with our main drain line and only knew the issue was somewhere between our house and the back alley. Rick was able to come out within a few hours of my call, and he realized that one of the big trees we had in the yard was sitting directly on top of the line, slowly crushing it and causing the water flow to slow and back up. He said the line actually looked pretty good for a cast iron pipe (our house is nearly 100 years old), but if removing the tree didnt do the trick, then wed just need to replace the part of the line that was damaged by the tree. We ended up removing the tree the next day and it seemed to lessen the issue. We are going to keep an eye on it over the next month or so, and if there are still issues, we will give In-House Plumbing a call back to replace the part of the line that was damaged by the tree. We would definitely recommend In-House Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

They completed a very large job over the course of 3 days. It rained heavily on 2 days, but this didnt stop them from advancing the trenches and tunneling under my house. Replaced the entire under slab sewage plumbing with PVC and connected to to the sewer main in the backyard. They ran into an unfortunately placement of some of the old cast iron couplings placed in the concrete slab beam. However, they were able to come up with a solution for connecting to the vent stack in the concrete beam without having to route the piping outside of the wall. This allowed a fix that wouldnt be aesthetically unpleasing. Excellent job!

In House not only performed the test at the sewer clean outs but also inside our home by pulling the toilet up, something the first company did not do. IHP staff found the leak was isolated to an outdoor area, inside the sewer clean out. The leak was repaired within 1 hour and the charge was minimal, $150.00. I will definitely keep their number handy!

I had a slab leak under my refrigerator, I was very nervous about doing this, since it was in the kitchen. but as soon as Damien and Martine started, and explained as they went, which was really nice it wasn’t at all painful as I thought it was gonna be. these guys were very professional, very helpful and boy The cleanup job was amazing. i’ve never had anybody that cleaned up after themselves the way they did, and during the whole thing, we will definitely always use this company. they are definitely worth five stars

Hard workers making sure everything is done right. The work involved some tunneling under the house slab but a later followup check, which happened after the plumbing work was completed, on some foundation leveling work previously performed on the slab showed no impact on the foundation level.

In-House Plumbing (Jackie) did a quick, but thorough, job testing the sewer line for leaks and testing the water supply line. He answered all my questions and explained the process before and during the leak test.

Great service! Plumber went above and beyond fixing my drained sewage line by finding my buried drain holes when I didn’t think my house had any based on other plumbers failed attempts to find them. Will use them for all my plumbing needs from now on.
